Buyer Beware!!We have been a loyal customer of West Coast Appliance for almost twenty years but Heads-up if you are planning on purchasing from them and expect any kind of service. They are not locally owned any longer. Sometime in early 2021 they were bought out by Kellys Home Center (Salem/Eugene). West Coast got rid of their service department and now uses a Portland based company called Appliance Hospital. We had a very good experience with them and they really tried to help us. West Coast No Lemon Policy is a lie, they will NOT honor it. You’ll get great lip service from the sales rep and the manager, but they will dodge, deflect, make excuses and refuse to help. We had a new Speed Queen washer break in May and had SEVEN service calls on it. It wasn’t finally repaired till October – FIVE months later. It would have been so much better, cheaper and generated good will if they had just given us another machine like their No Lemon Policy states. Never doing business with them again…

Bought an LG washer and dryer here when our old washer died. Same price as Home Depot and Best Buy, but they had one in stock and other two were backordered. Timely, professional delivery. One star off for some glitches and delays in refunds for returned items, but finally came through.

I recently bought a washer/dryer set, and had a great experience here! The staff were very knowledgeable about the products they carry, and made sure I got exactly what would work best for my needs. The financing process was easy as well. It was convenient to track the delivery with their in-website app, which was great. They two guys who brought the washer/dryer and installed it were professional and happy to answer any final questions. Im loving my washer/dryer.

Would not do business here again. POOR communication. Tell you that they will have your appliances, when actually they dont, then try to sell you a brand you dont want. Check with other competitors, if they tell u it isnt available..you will most likely find it at other stores. Be sure to look at your invoice, prices could be different than you were quoted when they sold you the item.

Ordered my Kitchen Suite in March on 2021. The refrigerator still has no handles and the microwave hood that came smashed to bits on delivery is finally “on order”. This is after I called 2 months later ( I was told it would be 4 weeks) and was told “looks like it was never re ordered”. This is the WORST customer service I have ever experienced in my life. No calls to keep me up to date. I’ve paid in full and still don’t have my appliances in full. Yet they continue to advertise their kitchen suite deals. Don’t order appliances for here. If it’s in stock, go for it…. If it’s not, forget about it.

I bought a washer and dryer 1 week ago from Kevin. Very nice on the phone but when I got there, his customer service is very poor. He acted and treated me like I was a bothering him when hes the one that said to ask for him when I got there. I told him who I am and what I bought and paid for and said go to the back of the store and go out the door and a guy will help you load them. Never asked me if I needed anything else. Come to find out that the store had been sold. My brother has spent THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS there and will not go back. He was with me.

Very good experience from order to completed install. The sales agent (Rob M.) assisted with my selection process. He was thoughtful and listen to what I needed and wanted.The installers (Michael and Joe C.) were very friendly and thoughtful. They completed the install with ease and cleaned after themselves. They took the time to answer all my questions before leaving.Great Customer Service!!

Terrible customer service! My order was delayed by several months (not their fault), but I got 0 updates about what was happening. I had to call to find out where my appliance was located over the course of 4 months. When it finally did arrive they were rude and acted as if I was at fault for only putting down the deposit. They also said they would coordinate with my cabinet makers for installation and they made no effort to do so.Follow up: the owner got back to me quickly and was very receptive and open to feedback! I appreciate his vigilance and dedication!

We were long overdue for a new dishwasher and had a great experience purchasing the new one from West Coast in Central Point. The installers Calvin and Levi were very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. They answered all our questions and were as swift as possible with the install. They exceeded our expectations! Very impressive. We are happy customers and we will be back whenever we need a new appliance.

We went in about a month ago the salesman was very nice and said the honored veterans discount when picked out a refrigerator was about 1900 when we got up to check out was told that they couldn’t do the discount and they were very rude about it . We left went to Lowe’s found a better deal. Also went back the next week to Lowe’s and bought Maytag dishwasher and microwave hood so they lost this sale as well totaled spend was about $4000 they lost because of them being rude would not bye from them ever

I was a long-time customer of Kellys in Salem and was delighted to find out I was dealing with the same company (aka West Coast Appliances) in Medford. I had to wait a long time for my appliances to be delivered because of supply shortages for everybody. My washer and dryer were delivered on Sunday of Labor Day weekend. On Monday I did 5 loads of laundry without any issues.

UPATED, THEY EXCEPT APPLE PAY! (See below) I just walked into West Coast with my brand name and model number of my gas range. In less than five minutes Robin had me out the door, and that’s even doing an extra search to get me free shipping and my military discount. I am so impressed! UPDATE!!! West Coast Has Apple Pay, Per the website Lowe’s didn’t. I forgot my wallet, whoever has Apple Pay wins! Thanks Jennifer for getting me this flex line so I can actually pull my range out without pinching the too short contractor provided gas flex line.

We went to West Coast 4/26/21 looking for a range hood insert. We spoke with Rick Hamlin who was very nice and extremely helpful, recommending a great choice for us. Because it had to be ordered (but was in stock from their source), we took his card and told him we would call him and order it if we couldn’t find it in stock locally. The next day I did call to order and was told by Rob that Rick was out until the next weekend but that he could take the order because they “all work together”. I figured that would be OK because I could email Rick and tell him we had given him credit for the sale, and not wait the 5 days until his return. Rob asked about the unit and what price Rick had quoted. I found this odd – shouldn’t the price be the same no matter which salesperson you talk to? He then said it was in stock but could take 3 weeks to arrive, hopefully less but no guarantees, so I told him I would have to check that timing with my cabinet maker and call him back. I called back just over an hour later to order and that is when things really went downhill.Rob made a comment that he hoped the unit would be here in three weeks. What? I said I thought they were in stock, to which he replied well, there are two in stock but six orders against them. Again, what? In whose world does a negative four inventory constitute “in stock”? He went on to comment that it might just come down to “need” as to how the orders got filled. Are you kidding me? I was so shocked at this comment and this complete opposite treatment from Rob than from my initial conversation with Rick, I just told him I felt like this was some kind of shyster way of getting my order when he knew time was a big issue, and I hung up. We then ordered the unit from a different local company. West Coast, give Rick a raise and send Rob home.

After an initial issue, management went above and beyond to make things right. I received both a text and call from 2 different managers. I spoke with Scott on the phone and he was great. They really care about the experience their customers recieve. I was able to get a new washer and dryer purchased and installed same day. THANKS GUYS!!

Ramona and Marvin were amazing salespeople who were very courteous, knowledgable and professional, helping us purchase the appliances that were right for our needs and answering any questions we had. They even matched prices with a nearby competitor for us when we happened to mention them.The deliveryman and installer, Calvin, was also very swift and skilled with the delivery and installation of the appliances, including testing everything that was delivered and demonstrating to us how to correctly operate them. When another store in town had literally no refrigerators in stock(before even leaving that store) I called West Coast and reached Brian who was very helpful and sweet in answering all of my questions. We drove down already knowing what we wanted. 15 minutes later we were done and had the exact fridge we wanted to be delivered 10 days later. Well guess what, they had a cancelation and our awesome new fridge was delivered a week early.Everyone over at West Coast made this an easy and pleasurable experience. We will be back when we replace the rest of our appliances.

A great place to look at sofas, love seats recliners (some electric), dining tables/chairs, appliances, decorations, and bedroom sets. They also have a good parts dept with knowledgable staff. They do make deliveries with a fee appropriate to your area. Financing is available upon approval.

DO NOT BUY from west coast appliance!!! If I could give zero stars I would. Being a business owner myself this has been the worst customer experience ever. I have had the worst experience ever. Everything from the delivery driver is being too lazy to install a range and dishwasher to my new couches CATCHING ON FIRE and they will not replace them but instead fix them with back ordered parts. Our couch has been stuck in the full upright position for over a month. As well as staples ripping out of the arm rests. We owned everything less then three months at the time of the electrical board catching fire. And two months later nothing has been done about it. Do Not Buy from these guys!!!!

My service technician was Matt. I called for repair of my horrible washer, which I just bought 2 years ago from a retail home repair chain. I was convinced it had to be broken because during the spin cycle, it made extremely loud, disturbing rattling and grinding sounds.I really felt I was not overloading it, but Matt explained and showed me why even just 6 thin-ish towels was causing the horrible noise.For the particular piece of junk washer I have, he was able to tell me how high to fill it and how many items to put in for different types of washables.With the changes I made with Matts advice, the horrible noises are resolved. I am relieved I did not have to pay for repair or buy a new one yet.It is nice to find technicians like Matt, who know what they are doing and have such thorough product knowledge. It makes me trust West Coast Appliance for the kind of value that is so hard to find these days.I still hate my loser washer, but...live and learn. Ill keep it a couple more years to get my money out of it and then I will buy my next one from West Coast Appliance.

What a great experience shopping at west coast appliance. Brian was my sales person and he was very friendly, very informative, not pushy but very helpful. He helped me pick out a nice 5 piece frigidaire appliance set. They ended up holding my appliances for a couple of months because my house wasn’t finished. People would call and check in with how the house was coming along and say just let us know when you’re ready and we will deliver them for free. Everyone was very nice to work with from Brian on the first day to Joe on the last day who delivered my appliances. Great people to work with. I would highly recommend West Coast Appliance

We went in to purchase a new traeger grill $699.00 and on the website the advertisement stated ANY traeger purchase qualified for a free cover and bag of grilling pellets. During the purchase process we were told that the grill we purchased was not part of the deal. There was no exclusions on the advertisement yet when the employee contacted the owner he refused to honor the advertised offer and only gave a very small discount.

We bought a home last September and were able to purchase an entire Frigidaire kitchen suite. Seth did a great job in helping us to select the best one for the features we wanted. We recently purchased an upright freezer, as we love the customer service at West Coast Appliances and Furniture, as well as supporting a local business, and the fact that we had such a good experience previously. Seth once again took care of our sale. Our freezer was delivered a few days ago, but we noticed there was some slight, visible damage. My husband called Seth to let him know, and he made arrangements to have a replacement delivered, which we will be receiving this Saturday. Very professional and its obvious that Seth and West Coast Appliance and Furniture pride themselves on excellent customer service. We are customers for life!

I purchased a wolf cooktop with the help of Scott on 3/26 with a delivery the following week, plenty of time ahead of the holiday... so I figured. He told me all they had was in stock was the display model, so he sold me that without a discount. Delivery day comes and everything... falls apart.First the nice gentlemen who arrived to remove the old cooktop and install the new one seemed kind of worried about the fit. They had a heck of a time taking the old one out and measured the space repeatedly, frowning, but didnt actually decide it wouldnt fit until they asked me if the old unit still worked... I said yes it did. It just didnt ignite anymore so we have to use a lighter. Since they were going to dispose of it once removed, they were concerned about getting it out again... but not that concerned. We all heard a load crack when they finally got it out and promptly after breaking the old unit, decided the new one would not fit. They advised me to call Scott to see if they had suggestions, maybe a smaller unit. Scott advised to find a contractor to make the hole bigger, said he would call me back. Scott never called me back. I couldnt get the time of day from him.So I try to call around, but this is a granite tile top. It requires a special blade, so using a personal contact, I got someone to come... after the holiday. They did a great job, made sure it fit perfectly. I called West Coast to get the guys to come in and finish, basically just hook-up the gas. I am nervous around gas, but we thought it was maybe 5 minutes of work to check everything. The woman who answered my call could not care... less that Id been out of cooktop for over a week and her next install was another week. It was awful, and there was nothing I could say to get her to care at all. Scott, not even in the picture.People around her keep advising others to buy local, but local isnt better. Scott didnt care enough to even call back. The woman in the service department couldnt be bothered. I went to West Coast thinking they were experts, that theyd help me purchase the right thing, and all the asked me was the class size of the cooktop and when it came to install... I was on my own.I dont see any reason not to just go to the box stores. At least there isnt a pretense of caring.I have purchased 3 appliances from West Coast appliances in the last year or so... I wont be the finishing the next two from them. It feels like all sales and no support there. They get another star because the individuals doing the installs are nice individuals. This complete lack of caring and support is not with them.

Awesome service from Brandy and Lacey in the service department! Gave me all the knowledge necessary for me to install a replacement heating element in my dryer myself. Took it all apart, installed the new part, she runs great again!Wasnt sure how to post a separate review from the above- but these folks still get 5 stars in my book! Celeste in parts took the time to call me back about a part they didnt have in stock. She recommend another company in town and got me taken care of. Ill always go to West Coast Appliance first- but Im happy theyre humble enough and caring enough to refer me to another shop to make sure I was taken care of. Thanks, Celeste! Much appreciated!

I am writing this review to save others from the terrible experience I have had here at West Coast Appliances ! Several months ago I bought a brand new Amana washing machine, at the recommendation of the salesman that was helping me. I had it for several months when it completely broke down on me. When I called for a service call to have it repaired, I was told no one could come out for a couple of weeks. When the service tech came to my house, he was here for only about 5 minutes and told me he had no idea what was wrong.... he had never seen anything like this in his 6 years of repairs. He told me he would check with the tech guys and call me the next day.....didnt hear back from him at all and called them a week later. At this point, I was told a part (board) would have to be ordered. I asked, several different times, if I could just get a different machine because this one broke down so quickly on me and I feel its a lemon. I was told no, they have the right to repair it because I have had it for some time now....What ???? My last conversation was with the sales manager, at which time I was told this as my solution..... have us come out and repair the washer and then you can sell it and come back in and I will give you a discount on a new washer. I cant believe that this would be their solution to selling me a complete lemon of a washing machine. I work really hard for my money and this has been very upsetting....SO NOT OK !!!10/19/2020 UPDATE : I find the response to my review to be rather laughable, considering it is a bunch a bull ! I would NOT of even wrote the review had I had any kind of customer service to begin with ! I was NOT taken care of in a timely matter....a month and a half is not timely ! I was without my washer for a month and a half and was not given a loaner. I had to go to the laundry mat and every time I went it was $10.00 or more each time. To top it off, the Sales Manager Kevin ended up leaving me a message on my phone that he thought I should take this review down....because I did not give them a chance to fix my washer. WHAT??? I gave them more than enough time to resolve this issue, keep in my mind I had to call several times to see what was going on. The Managers message also stated that I should take it down because of professional friendliness.....should try to give that to your customers ! Needless to say, I will NEVER be back and will make sure to tell everyone I know how my experience was !

YOU HAVE DEFINITELY REGAINED MY TRUST AGAIN ------Bought a stove and dishwasher on a Wednesday, was told it would be delivered on Tuesday between 10am and 1pm. Tuesday 1pm came around and no West Coast. So naturally I call. Spoke to a gentleman, said he was sorry but for some reason it never got scheduled to be delivered. Next available time was another week away. One star review, because nothing was done to correct it. Nothing was done to expedite the delivery. We were just told sorry I dont know what to say. Not let me talk with my manager and see if we can squeeze you in, since it was our fault. Nothing. NOTHING!! Now I have to wait another week because someone dropped the ball. Extremely dissatisfied and disappointed, especially with how much business we have done with them.

I have been window shopping recliners for a few weeks. As Black Friday got closer, I decided to wait and check the ads.I found a recliner that I like, in my price range and in the color I want, at West Coast. We went in today but they didnt have any on the floor.We were lucky to find Rick Hamlin, salesman extraordinaire. He ordered the chair for me and he couldn’t have been nicer. There were lots of customers at West Coast Appliance today and we kind of flagged him down but he really was great.There are an abundance of furniture and appliance stores in our area. I shop around to see where I can get the best deal. Ive been a customer of West Coast Appliance several times over the years. The reason I keep going back is because of the folks that work there. Rick was easy to work with, the gal (Im so sorry that I forgot her name) in the service department who took my money was cheerful towards the end of the day when they were clearly busy.Whether its furniture or appliances youre looking for check out West Coast. You just might be pleasantly surprised.

And was told they are book till September and are not offering service. I wont be giving my business to them ever again. I have purchased several appliances from them since 1989. Great shopping experience. All questions answered. I purchased a Gladiator freezer. Home Depot was out of stock. It would have taken two weeks to get it from them. These guys delivered, installed the foot plate and removed the packing the following morning at a better price. They deserve a five star rating.

There are many other appliance places in the Rogue Valley - do not purchase from West Coast Appliance. Delivery of appliances was to be between 3-5 pm. No phone call until 7:00 pm saying they would be there in 15 min. Didnt leave until 10:00 pm. Refrigerator was dented and freezer would not defrost (broken seal around door) Was told new one would be in end of July. When I heard nothing I called and the new refrigerator had been in their warehouse for 2 weeks but no one had contacted me to schedule delivery. It would still be sitting there if I had not followed up. Microwave over range was installed incorrectly so exhaust fan blew air out front instead of up the vent hood. Range sat 2 inches below counter - had to tell them to level it or they would have left it that way. Asked about the noise on my new induction/convention oven fan, why did it rattle, and was told for repair needed to call Frigidaire directly because they were not taking any more service calls they had to many. One of the reasons I decided to go with West Coast was because they did Service. Purchased Traeger and was told the free cover was back ordered...I will probably never see. Once they have your money and sales person has their commission customer service is out the window. Dont fall for their sales They just search Home Depot site and match the price. Dont waste your time at West Coast Appliance.

I have purchased a fridge, washer/dryer set, and a bed frame in the last few months. Bryan L. went above and beyond everytime I came in. I had an issue with some hardware missing, he took care of me at the drop of a hat. He didnt apply that slimy sales pressure when I was looking at product and he was very informative with everything they sell. West Coast Appliance & Furniture is very fortunate to have him! Dealt with the sales manager and had a wonderful experience. Gave us prices up front, no pushy sales approach, very accommodating and reasonable. Was able to get delivery the next day. I highly suggest these folks and avoid those high end stores next door.

My experience with this business has been poor. After waiting two weeks for a return call or email reply, I will take my kitchen appliances purchase elsewhere. I followed up multiple times. I have never received such poor customer service from a business like West Coast. I don’t like being negative but I had to share my experience.

I can only comment on the parts service, I have not purchased appliances here. I have found the staff friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, and so far I have ask for nothing they dont have in stock. Prices are fair. You can do better on line, but immediate availability, support of local business and advice count for quite a bit. All in all recommended when you need to repair your washer, dryer, dishwasher, range or other household appliance

Every time i go to this store i love it more! eve really went above and beyond to help me with a recent stove purchase, she is awesome! they have the nicest sales representatives, the store is always clean, and they work hard to ensure you’re happy with your purchase. they will work with you to get what you want within your budget, even if that means discounting. i LOVE west coast— if i can’t find something i love there i wait until they have it. the other furniture and appliance stores just aren’t on their level!

Reba was wonderful to work with. She got all the information we needed to make a decision on purchasing a dishwasher. Dishwasher color we wanted was not in stock so we had to order. Information we were given as to when it would arrive, which was within a week, and when West Coast could deliver, within day after arrival, was perfect. The installers were very nice and did a great job of installing the new dishwasher and removing old dishwasher. We will definitely recommend West Coast and will be back for other appliances when needed.

We could not be happier with the in store experience. Eve McElheny was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and funny. We came in to buy our first new washer and dryer and were intimidated looking at all the choices and prices.Eve had us taken care of in an hour, with ease. She showed us options above and below the models we were initially looking at and gave us the pros and cons of each. We cannot wait until they get here tomorrow! We will definitely be back to see Eve when we upgrade our kitchen.

Do not buy an extended warranty from these people thinking youre going to get any service after the sale. The service tech came out after 2 weeks found the problem, ordered the part and its been 6 six weeks and West Coast has tossed me off to another company who I cant get a response from as to where the part is. I was never told by West Coast that the part was to come directly to me. Do yourself a favor shop somewhere else and ask a lot of questions before you buy.

Called the store 5 minutes before closing, needing a good price on a stove and dishwasher with delivery in 4 days. Ramona was courteous, professional and went above and beyond to find me a great deal with the perfect delivery time. The guys doing the delivery called ahead, showed up when expected and also did a great job. I would recommend West Coast Appliance to anyone looking for a great deal and professional staff that you can count on!

Excellent and amazing customer service. I have an extended warranty on a washer and dryer and when the washer stopped working, they not only came to pick it up same day, but also brought a loaner machine! Celeste in service was above and beyond helpful and friendly, as were the guys who came to pick it up. Would highly recommend West Coast to anyone.

I will start with i didnt buy my new refrigerator from them (but) they are the service center for the brand. We have purchased furniture and appliances from Westcoast in the past and have sent friends and family to them. My new refrigerator stopped working and the manufacturer said Westcoast was the service center and scheduled an appointment. I contacted Westcoast to confirm appointment and they refused to do anything do to the fact we did not purchase it from them. They were more than happy to schedule an appointment and charge me for the repair for a refrigerator under warranty. I can say they will never see my business again and I will never send any one there way.

Well, this’s rip off company !!! They sold us gas stove 5K cost . In 2 months it stop working . Brand new stove doesn’t work. We came to ask exchange or refund and they said they can’t refund either exchange. After a month later they sent somebody to fix it but he wasn’t able to fix it.Stay away from this place . If you are thinking to buy something then go somewhere else before you regret ! Such a horrible company! Who is the owner and manager go to HELL !!!When you charge $5’000 to us your dam face was smiling! Now you refuse to solve our problem!!!
