They have a huge selection of all my favorite authors and series! They also have customer service and cool memorabilia to check out! I highly recommend checking this store out! ☺️

This is one of my favorite little independent book stores Ive been to. Im usually looking for old classics, so I cant speak to the selection for the many many other genres, but theres a huge selection for classics (as well as a secondary trade paperback selection) they almost always have what Im looking for, and even better, in nice condition for a great price. The owner is always very kind and I love that she keeps homemade bookmarks to grab (for free) with your purchase -- Im constantly losing mine so its great to be able to nab a new one. Ill say its not a perfectly organized shop, she is practically overflowing with books in there, but I personally like that in a bookstore (I dont know why, it would probably give me anxiety elsewhere), feels cozy I guess! Plus, just means more to choose from. There are non-book trinkets and such as well.Ive been avoiding going anywhere non-essential since March of last year, so Ive sadly only visited once since then (just this month, Jan 21), but I was thrilled to see the owner wearing a mask and keeping safe. You never know what to expect, especially around here, so I appreciated the caution and courtesy.

Today (Sept 15th, 2020) they are open!Since the beginning of the pandemic weve been home-bound. We havent been to THE BEST USED BOOK STORE EVER since the beginning of the year and selfishly its the only business Ive been terrified would go under because of the virus. My heart swells with joy when we step in this little treasure. I feel like Im walking into my friends cozy library where the books are reasonably priced and I can gather up trinkets and books to my hearts content.While we are still social distancing and staying home for the majority of the time as my husband does the grocery shopping, this store I was finally willing to make an exception for. However, you may notice when you call that it goes straight to voicemail and the voicemail is full. I was so worried when I tried calling on two different days and got the same thing, so I jumped in the car and drove by, holding my breath in anticipation of yet more bad news. But there Larae was, in her lovely shop, and as we tried the handle it opened and we were welcomed in. Larae explained she closed her store for 4 months and during that time had packed away some boxes and in one of them the store phone and she hasnt been able to find the box since. So please know shes there! And her beautiful book collection is still there! And it was just the tiny piece of hope I needed today to walk through her doors. Thank you so much, Larae, for your lovely treasure of a store. We are lucky to have you.Edited to add: I take my 5 year old daughter with me all of the time and Larae is always welcoming even to my daughter. I make sure my daughter is careful with the books, but Larae has never seemed upset by her looking at all of the books. Im sorry the one reviewer had a different experience, but we have been here many times and this has never been our experience, but far from it.

Love this place! Blow paychecks here way too often. Inexpensive. I got a ton of books for a little over a hundred. Found books I have been looking for for ages. Basically floor to ceiling book shelves and lots to choose from. Its small but packs a bunch in its small area. Only ever ran into one very friendly person who works there same person every time I have been. Only problem I have with this place is totally personal I spend all my money here. But totally worth it. My book collection has more then doubled its origin size thanks to this place. Due to its small size I always seem to get a little hot in there when I do go though, but thats probably because Im usually frantically searching for new finds our beloved books that I have always wanted to own. Book lovers need to try this place I fell in love.

I love this shop, & the owner is nice. The window displays are bright & seasonal. You could spend hours in there browsing. At the same time: there is so much crammed in there, watch where youre walking. There are usually boxes everywhere. Convenience & accessibility is also an issue. For someone who works & isnt in downtown Centralia, plan on going on Saturday because that will be your only opportunity. Much as I support locally owned businesses, I just ordered the remainder of a series online rather than going there just to see if she has them, because the phone is set to forward to voice mail & the mailbox is full. You cannot call & see if she has what you want; you have to go there. For me thats 1/2 hour drive in the opposite direction from where I intended to go today.

If you love used books this is the store to go to! The store is packed from floor to ceiling with books, books, and more books! The owner is very nice and helpful but lets you browse in peace as well. I love that the books are sorted by category (theres even a horror section, rare even in bigger bookstores!) making it easy to browse for whatever you are into. And the books are in good condition with no old, found-in-the-basement by a grandchild feel to it like some other used bookstores I have been to. It reminds me somewhat of half price books, if only on a smaller scale. The prices also are decent, usually around $4-5 a book. If youre looking for a great place to browse books this is the place!

I always find at least one good book whenever I stop in. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting. The prices are good, and the owner is always willing to help find things, or just have a friendly chat. I will always stop in whenever Im in town.

An amazing little store. I go there every chance I get. Excellent science fiction selection. The owner is knowledgeable and personable. I wish I worked there!

I told owner what sort of books I liked and she pointed me to an author I love now. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Ill be buying more books soon.

Was in there today Sept 28 2019 and the person that was there was very rude . I was there with my daughter and granddaughter and my wife .she made a big deal about my granddaughter looking at books . She loves look at books for a young age . So we left and went to the library were she was able to look at books and find ones she wanted
