This store has great selection of fruits and vegetables. The fruits are fresh at reasonable price. However, the Seafood section doesn’t apply the sale price on the weekly ads. A few weeks ago, I asked the gentleman who was behind the Seafood counter if the Pompano fish was on sale as it was posted on the website, and he said it was not on sale without explaining any reasons. Two days later, I needed something in Chantilly Lotte store and I also got the fish at the sale price there. I’m not happy with the service in Seafood section, but other sections are great.
Their fresh vegetables and fruit selection and seafood department is wonderful. Pricing and availability puts your local grocery store, including Wegmans, Harris Teeter and Whole Foods to shame. Dont be afraid. Best value and selections. Will drive through 66 traffic for their fruits!
Worst customer service. I had bought fresh noodles a while ago, the next day when I was trying to cook the fresh noodles I realized it was all stuck together in one big blob. It obviously had been stored badly, and so I brought it in that day for an exchange or refund. When I told them that I bought it just the day before, and it was in that condition when I opened it, the employee at the customer service desk asked me if I had left it in a hot car, which of course I did not. They accuse and blame their customers for their bad quality control and treat you like a liar. I only shop at Hmart after that happened. Rude and condescending customer service employees!
I visit this place regularly, I wont get fish from here have seen worms in frozen fishes .. but great place for Indian grocery you gel almost every thing you need
Was there July 2021. Very clean isles. Provided hand sanitizer before entering. Line is not too long. Look enough people working here.
Well stocked location. This particular location has a larger selection of Korean and Indian products. The produce section is rather large, and a bit more clean and organized than other parts of the store.
I needed a birthday present for my hard to please daughter. I want to touch the tester to look at a make up set I was told not to touch it from the Korean vendor. Well off to H mart. They have a problem.you vote with your dollars
So first of all Im just 13 and uh I think they need more space for the karts to make around.
Hands down the absolute best produce of any of the grocery stores in the area at amazing prices, especially on things that are not staples in American grocers like ginger, cilantro, garlic etc.
Lots of current snack items but less to choose from if youre shopping for meal ideas. Marinated meats taste like they were dipped im sugar water and overall lacks other flavors. Prefer Hmart Centreville to this Lotte Market.
Great selection of international foods, a plethora of fruits and vegetables. Fish selection is amazing. Service is below-par. Most of the employees are too busy working at answer a question. Otherwise, a great store.
Great selection - clean store - easy access
Produce is fresh and has lots of variety. I wish they service/ change their shopping carts. A lots of carts have broken seats where the kid sits.
Clean, efficient, well stocked, and lots of good sales. My go-to local Korean grocery store.
Its a Korean grocery store and has all IndoPakistani vegetables, fruits, Dal, Ata, Masale, Achar, ghee, you name it they have it. They also have fish/seafood section where one can get fresh fish even they have live fish one can choose from. Its a large, organized, clean and well run store. If you need of indian, Asian ethnic food of any kind they have it.
I wish more closer from my house. But always fun for shopping find new K-product!!
An amazing place with bunch of collections of foods from different regions and price is so cheap and affordable. Liked the halal option they have also the fish collection.
A lot of varieties but from time to time it can be very pricy!
Great place. It has variety of products. I gave 4 stars bcz some Indian products i wanted to buy were expired.
Why pay outrageous prices for fruits and vegetables when Lotte has then at a fraction of the price. As an example, honey crisp apples are usually $3.99 to $4.99 a lb. at local groceries.......they have them for $.89 lb right now. The seafood is always fresh and they’ll cut to order. They have a limited selection of beef and pork but do have specialty cuts that I enjoy. If you’re not looking for a loaf of bread and canned soup, give Lotte a shot and you’ll be surprised how much your pallete will thank you!!!!
Lotte Plaza has great Korean and Asian groceries. Their produce is exceptional and well priced. We prefer Lotte Plaza to H Mart since their prices seem to be a bit less variable.
Lots of products with good prices. I hate the parking lot though, and it doesnt help that it is always crowded. I used to really like going to the small food court here, but I am unsure if it is open currently or not. The only reason why I give this 4 stars and not 5 is because of the customer service. The people who check out my groceries normally dont even acknowledge me, but oh well.
Good prices and selection. I shop here weekly for groceries.
Easy grocery shopping !!
Always love shopping here
Good food at decent prices
I would keep going to H mart rather than Lotte plaza since they are located close to each other. Price was higher, the product line was narrower. No hand sanitizer was provided either.
Good assortment and quick attention at checkout.
Great store grocery store and yummy food court. But the music was very loud and rather irritating.
Good quality international food
Their food selection is better than other lotte or hmart. Also they have my favorite food court restraint.
Good to shop.
I went shopping today (3/20/2020), end of the first week of social distancing, and while checking out, a pack of 15 Bounty paper towels wouldnt scan. The cashier sent the bag boy to ask the manager and came back with $40. I laughed and then demanded for the manager. He comes out takes a quick look and said he will check. He comes back and says it is $38.50. SMH!Now typical American products are priced higher in this store. On average the Bounty brand pack is about $20 so if they wanted $25 I could understand the markup but not $40. I didnt buy it as we truly do not need it and only picked it up because stores do not have them on stock when I go.Imagine if this is the scenario for an elderly person. My guess is that they would pay that outrageous amount as it might be difficult to come out to the store in the first place. I typically come here to get fruits, vegetables, and Asian goods not found in regular grocery stores. I dont know if this case is limited to this specific franchise but will be shopping at H-Mart going forward.
This is our favorite Lotte plaza. It has a huge selection that includes all of our regular favorites, plus plenty of scope for the imagination!
Very large space filled with asian stuffs. However meat and produces arent that fresh. Staffs are pretty friendly. Of course the food court has some options.
Convenient. Good products with very reasonable prices.
Super crowded! They had pretty bad gimbab, one of the worst I’ve had in my life. And let’s face it, it’s pretty hard to make gimbab that’s not yummy. Given the fact that it’s in Centreville where there are a lot of Koreans, I was pretty disappointed. :(
Great selection good prices. Fish section smells fishy.
A great food court in addition to a variety of shopping items!
Use google translate to read labels. Incredible vegetable and fruit section. Wide variety of seafood. Great ice cream and snack section. Prepping for a party? Try something Korean or Japanese.
Very large selection of meats, seafood, and produce. Fresh and frozen. Also good to grab Indian frozen foods like naan and samosas. Asian snacks and ramen. They also have a food court I never ate at.
Always good stuff!
Super Fresh Super Friendly
Excellent customer service.
I went here once when I was visiting my friend in VA. They have a variety of food thats mostly international. There are so many food you can choose from. A good place to get food that feels like home for the international community.
Had everything I needed. Check out was quick.
Little chaos but this place is to go for fresh veggies.
Super clean, great selection and good prices a must go for international food.
Offers quality fresh products at fair price. Store is generally well organized and kept clean. Also love their quick dining options.
Should have a lot more authentic Chinese food.
Really exceptional, high quality selection of produce. I love mushrooms and will go out of my way to get mushrooms here instead of any other grocery store because the others do not even come close in regards to quality and price. It does get a bit crowded and I do suggest parking a bit further out to avoid anything happening to your car. However the quality of the fruits and vegetables here is really leagues above the regular grocery stores. Definitely worth visiting for that reason alone.
Needless to say that this store is huge and always stocked with a good selection of food and even other stuff. Theres Indian, Japanese and Korean aisles where you can grab your favorite brand stuff. Be careful as this store is always packed regardless of the time of the day. Weekends can get crazy here... You might have to struggle sometimes to get around from people blocking your way with their huge shopping carts. The prices fluctuate... Sometimes they have really good deals and sometimes its way more expensive than other places. Youll have to make a good judgement on whether something is worth paying that much. I just wish that they hired more people at the cash register. Seriously, 3/4 registers doesnt help with the huge influx of customers shopping with their carts full. They should have an Express lane for people who wants to just grab and go. Other than that, this is a good grocery store.
Great produce and spices for amazing prices. You cant go wrong here. Find specialty International items to add to your recipes.I come to this Lotte for weekly shopping. They run great sales (look for the yellow signs) and this store is less crowded and busy than the Chantilly Lotte. Highly recommended!
Come here for Korean snacks. You can also get a free calendar starting today.
Some associates are very rude and impatient to customers. I will no longer go there.
Mostly rude staff. Rarely fresh vegetables. Despite being convenient, I try to avoid this place. The other two (Chantilly and Ashburn are much better. Dont know about the one in Herndon though).
Best take out Korean food in the area
Very good Asian Store. Well arranged....lots of stuff I could get lost in!
Do not get their pre-made food. Everything we bought tasted bad.. it tasted like very old food no one bought that they microwaved. Even the raw garlic was old. The red bean porridge was so watery. Also, we tried eating in their sitdown cafe... the food was bad there too! I was ashamed to bring my family there to eat. Ill just do grocery shopping here and thats it.
Grocery is excellent. Pre-made food is not good enough to be dog food.
The things are varied and fresh.
I absolutely love Lotte plaza. Fresh produce at reasonable prices. You can get almost every Desi grocery item from here. They have halal meat and chicken too. I was amazed to see halal Franks and bologna.
Clean and has a large variety of asian groceries
Easy to get to. looks to me that they have increased the prices on almost all the items making shopping there is not that much better than local stores like Safeway or Giant.
Good place to shop for fresh vegetables and fruits. Price is unbeatable. But self life in Fridge is not great. Also excellent place to but shrimp and salmon steaks/fillet.
Many kinds of fruits that you wouldnt find in your average grocery store. Was introduced to many new things.
Lots of stuff is expensive. Some of the stuff is competitively priced. Staff is not so nice most of the time. If you buy ice cream dont expect a spoon anywhere because apparently you need to order food from one of their restaurants to get a plastic spoon. Very crowded.
Interesting not ONE review has commented on the smells of this establishment????? I’m at a loss. However I went in for authentic instant ramen couldn’t get help from anyone due to language, I almost forgot I was in the United States gotta speak 7 different languages to get anywhere around her and I only know 3 🙄
Great place to shop but the crabs are mean
Great place for every types of Asian foods, fishes, seafoods and fresh vegetables you can possibly think of. So many lanes to check out quickly. There are always some pit stops to try various new products. Parking is available for customers but always almost full.
I interacted with 5 different employees here. My guess is they don’t know English. The behavior is weirdly indecent, because they don’t respond to whatever I asked. It’s just like talking to statues. There was a guy stocking inventories, I thought he would know something, because they had iPad in their hands. But he behaved the same way. Didn’t respond anyway, he was just standing there as if I didn’t exist. I was just asking some basic stuffs, like strawberries. It is really really weird the way they behave.
I come here for the amazing food court of Korean food!Great choices.
Fresh Korean products
Awesome place to get your Asian food fix. Lots of choices and the quality of the produce is good. Great place to get Korean-style marinated meats as well as hard to find condiments. Definitely cleaner (and better smelling) than a lot of the other Asian markets in the area.
My favorite store to buy grocery it has everything you want please go and buy from there. Easy to afford 😻
A great Asian store. Youve got alit of choices and multiple brands available. Their seafood & fresh market are superb. Come on and visit them!...👍
Best place around for fresh vegetables, particularly the prices. Meats are high quality and you can find all kinds of interesting foods you wont easily find elsewhere. The food court is great, too. The parking lot is terrible, however, and new popular crop seasonal displays crowd the already crowded entrance and produce areas. It can be difficult to navigate easily with the crowds and displays/sample tables.
Nice little cafe inside. Lots of products Ive never heard of. Interesting to browse the store. Great selection of fresh seafood (the whole store smells like fish!)
Lotte is a great option if you plan on making some South Asian cuisine. Or if you are in the mood for some great Korean food, the food court in Lotte is well-known to be very good. There is a great variety of produce and meats that you cant find in typical American-style supermarkets that are well-priced at Lotte. The staff is very helpful, and there are plenty of samples being cooked an available for your tasting.
They definitely have everything. Love the food court. Some items are much pricier here than at my local Asian market, but they have things I cant get there too. Its very busy, but service is also very quick and friendly.
Good prices for fruits and vegetables, plus a lot of selection that you can’t find in regular grocery stores. They also have a bigger variety of fish and cuts of meat, although the prices on them are about the same. Prices on American groceries (ex. Soda, cereal etc) are higher.Go on a Saturday or Sunday. They have a lot of free samples. Also, they make their own marinated meats. They seem a little sketchy at first, but give them a try. They are quite tasty. This probably won’t become your only grocery, but it should factor in, especially for produce and specialty items.
A Korean / Asian supermarket chain. I found most of what I need here. Lotte offers more choices (catering to Asians) in the meat and seafood sections than regular supermarkets. Good selections of regular seasonal and tropical fruit which we like. The store also carries Asian household goods which sometimes can be convenience. Theres a fresh kimchi section and mini food court. We shop at this store weekly and maybe you can too. However, beware of a few of tables offering sales and samples. We experienced what we purchased were not what we received when we arrived home and opened the sealed packages.
You can get really good fruits and vegetables at a great price here. Their produce section has everything you can want and they are really fresh. The fact you can get Indian, Korean, Chinese and multiple types of groceries here makes it one stop grocery shop. They now also carry halal meat so now I can do all my groceries in one place.
Big grocery store that has LOTS of Asian produce. They also have a small little fast food restaurant which I think is Korean styled/themed. Next to that restaurant is a small area that contains non-food items like hair dye, sandals, cooking utensils, and more.
This is better lotee plaza then any other in the area.
Thay have food cort.vegetables are very fresh and good price..Friday,sat,sun thay do demonstrat korean food. With very good price.
Another Korean/asian market in the area. Parking lot is fairly large and inside food court is a nice plus. Good selection of asian foods and other to-go meals.
In the fruits and vegetables section there seemed to be plenty of hispanic guys working but no one really speaks English. If you ask them a question they always answer ‘NO HAVE and walk away. One time I couldn’t find something and asked one of the guys for help, he gave me a busy attitude and ignored me. Lotte plaza market needs to seriously train these guys in customer service skills and also teach them some basic form of English!
