Dr. Moore is amazing!! I will never go to another eye doctor. Her attention to detail, and her bedside manner are unmatched. Not only is she extremely knowledgeable, but she is truly a pleasure to be around. You can tell that she really enjoys what she does. I have recommended Centreville Eye Care to friends and family, and will continue to do so! They are top notch, and you will not be disappointed!

I would give negative stars if I could. This place has awful customer service. We have just moved and out of loyalty we decided to continue going to this place. We now live 45 minutes away and had three back to back appointments. The email they sent out had different times than their staff had in their books so we were running late for one of our appointments but still would have been on time for the other two. However they called and told us they would be canceling all three appointments. When we tried to ask why, the female receptionist was EXTREMELY rude and disrespectful. We will NEVER be coming back here again. Do yourself a favor and don’t come here!!!!!!

Been a patient here for many years and will never be coming back to this place. They are so rude and disrespectful and cancelled an appointment for no reason.Booked three appointments and was running late for one of them and they absolutely insisted on CANCELLING the other two appointments despite us being on time and already driving for 20 minutes. The front desk was rude and gave no explanation only saying “this is what the owner has decided”.I will never come back here and would not recommend anyone else go either.

Dr. Moore is the best! I have been a patient here for fifteen years and could not be more pleased with the level of care. I have never been to a Dr that was more friendly and patient oriented (and I work in a medical office). Every time I have seen her (once per year) she walks into the room like we are best of friends. The best thing is... it isnt fake. She truly cares and it shows. I also appreciate that she doesnt up sell her products. If an over the counter product is working- she says dont fix what is broken. I will not go anywhere else!

I was pleasantly surprised by the quickness of service, COVID procedure felt very safe - I was called in via phone from my car, went in immediately for the pre-examination room, no wait time to see the Doctor for the full exam. Dr. Hale was upbeat, positive, and informative. Facility and equipment was clean and sterilized. This was not your typical doctors office visit - it was quite pleasant and efficient.

I want an eye doctor that keeps current with technology and offers the best available services and Centreville Eye Care was my only choice in the immediate area. Initially, I just wanted a clinic that offered an alternative to dilating drops. The doctors have taken their time to ensure an accurate prescription and review my needs on each visit - exams are never rushed. They answer my questions in a thorough manner, make me comfortable during the visit, and provide appointments within a reasonable timeframe. They offer a very pleasant environment for their patients with a professional staff geared towards the same goal.

I cannot thank Dr. Simms and Dr. Moore enough for their patience and thoroughness of my visits. I came recently as a self pay patient with an eye injury and they not only gave me an amazing welcome to the practice that made me feel right at home, but really took the time to evaluate my injury and went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable as I was healing. This practice and their staff is truly wonderful and I would absolutely recommend to anyone!

I have been a patient of Dr Haley at the Centreville Eye Care Center since 2010. Dr Haley provides her best service and expertise as it relates to my eye care and needs. She is very kind, professional, sincere and understanding in her communications with the patients. Glad I am with Dr Haley and in safe hands. The Front Desk staff are great and wonderful as they got an appointment for me in less than hour on the same day. Highly recommend this Practice for someone looking for caring and good eye care services and needs.

I moved here 5 years ago and was recommended Centreville Eye Care by a family member. The doctors and staff here are AMAZING! I have never experienced a wait time, the entire staff is super sweet and nice. They take time to explain procedures and answer any questions. I have always hated having my eyes checked and would dread going to the eye doctor. The staff at Centreville Eye Care makes me feel so comfortable and relaxed that I dont mind it anymore!

Well.... I cannot judge the doctors or the place but I called in today to visit there for the very first time. I chose the place because of the good reviews, however, the staff I talked on the phone was rude and careless. She told me there is no room until next year and while I was thinking what to do she bye-byed and hang up the phone on my face which made me so upset. I am not ever calling them again. Might be a great place (I dont know) but very poor front-desk assistant!

Staffs are extremely rude, unprofessional, and unfriendly. After 3-years of consistently-bad experience, Im done with this place. Theyre careless and dont-ask-just-schedule-any-appointment-whatever. Doctors are amazing, so if you dont mind the front desk to ruin your day, confuse you, schedule the wrong appointment, and charge you for something you didnt ask for, go for it. VERY BAD.

I am new to the area and hadn’t found a new eye dr yet but I ended up damaging my eye tissue and it was EXTREMELY painful! I found Centreville Eye Care Center and called them to see if there was anyway a dr could look at my eye. The receptionist (Judy) was so sweet and was going to fit me in at 2:30 since it was an emergency and I already really appreciated that. But when she told the eye dr that I was in pain Dr. Moore told her to just have me come in right then! All the girls in the front got me back to the room to see the Dr. very quickly and Dr. Moore was soooo sweet and amazing! She truly went above and beyond to help me and make sure I wasn’t in anymore pain! I’ve never had anything happen like this before so it was beyond comforting to have everyone be so great. They also did an amazing job in creating an environment that was safe for patients and staff with regards to COVID-19 by taking my temperature before I came in, wiping down pens before patients used them, separate exit, etc. I don’t need to keep looking for an eye doctor because I definatly found where I will be going from now on!!

Went for my scheduled appointment at 1:15 got there at 1pm. Called them to let them know that I was there. I was told I missed my appointment at 12:45 Claims they called me, they called a wrong #. They wanted me to reschedule at end of year? Bad service, and on top of that, I never wore the first glasses they prescribed me a year ago. Will not go there again.

Centreville Eye Care has been my optometrist for many years. The staff are always helpful and friendly. Dr. Hale is very attentive, encouraging and skilled in addressing my eye care needs. The glasses department is always friendly and helpful. They work to ensure repairs are done quickly and completely. I rely on them to recommend the best frames for my face and they always succeed in finding frames that receive many compliments. Everyone there takes the time to treat me as their only patient. I highly recommend them to anyone in the Clifton and Centreville areas.

Just called to ask a question about my coverage as i was having issues with getting my insurance information updated. The lady that picked up the phone... made a snarky remark on the phone. She didnt have the self control to not do that. Didnt try and solve the problem. Another failure in customer service. But i do like the Dr.

Great doctors; great staff; bright and clean office! They have all the latest and greatest technology for performing eye exams. I mainly see Dr. Hale. She is a hoot! She has the best sense of humor, and makes you feel like a close friend. She is patient and really takes the time to listen to your concerns. She works with you until you achieve a result that is best suited for your needs. The staff is very knowledgeable about the eyewear, and are very helpful when you are picking out frames. My whole family has been seeing Dr. Moore for over 10 years -- since her office was located in Union Mill shopping center. She is fantastic. Many of her office staff and opticians have been with her for at least as long as we have been patients, and they are also fantastic. You feel like youre seeing long lost friends each time you visit their office. They are friendly, accommodating, and provide excellent care. HIGHLY recommend.

My wife and I have both been patients of Doctor Hale for over 10 years. She is very competent and thorough and takes whatever time Is needed to treat our eye needs.She is very friendly and has a great sense of humor. My first eye exam with Doctor Moore was way back in 1992. Oh my goodness, she was the best then an remains in that same spot with me to this day. Dr Moore is friendly, thorough, and always most helpful. Dr. Moore is like family to me. The Centerville Eye Care Center is up to date with all the new imaging services, and the staff is incredibly helpful. What a blessing to our community!

Great group of people. Havent met anyone there that I didnt really like. They are well educated and are interested in education patients so they can better take care of themselves. We (me and husband) have both walked in with broken frames and were taken care of quickly. If youre in this area, I highly recommend this practice.

This was years ago when I had an eye emergency. My eye was scratched and it was extremely painful. My eye was sensitive to light and it was bloodshot red. I had no insurance but needed to see an eye doctor right away and I came here to this clinic. Dr Kathleen Moore was so compassionate, which is rare for I had not seen any doctor who is as compassionate as she was for a very long time. I think she stole my heart. She examined my eye and told me it needed to be treated right away and referred me to a eye specialist to be seen that same day. Again, I had no insurance then and just started out on my own (self employed) and my wife was in school... Dr. Moore waived our fee knowing that we will have to see a eye specialist who will charge us a lot more. Overall, I cant thank enough for this doctor whos heart is so kind. I will be back to visit soon just to personally thank you.

Dr. Moore, Dr. Simms, and Dr. Hale are fantastic but the front desk staff absolutely ruins your experience there. They are extremely rude and unprofessional. They make negative comments about staff manners in front of you, it just makes you feel uncomfortable. The front staff will tell you your order will be in a week but it will take three instead but they will say literally say, but its not the front desks fault.. They will order the wrong product for you, TWICE, and ask you to drive back to return to them. Whats worst, is that they will change the price on you multiple times because they cant figure out what they are ordering and the quantity. They are not accountable at all for their unorganized services to patients and then they will give you attitude like if you dont like it, thats too bad. The front desk will tell you they will call you back but they wont. I dont think I have ever encountered such disrespectful attitudes from staff members, who clearly dont enjoy their jobs, in any profession, and that includes fast food services. So if youre looking for exceptional care from a provider, you cant go wrong with any of the doctors here. You just have to decide if youre willing to put up with subpar service from the rest of the staff.

Seriously the best experience I have had with eye care professionals since I started wearing glasses in the early 90s (in grade school)! Most credible eye doctor, friendliest and most helpful front office staff and opticians.I have a lot of trouble with my contacts, and most doctors arent willing to really listen and take me seriously. I have often been brushed off and ignored, told its all in my head, or told that Im not wearing or cleaning my contacts properly (even though I do). NOT SO at Centreville Eye Care!I saw Dr. Moore in my first experience at this practice just last week (Feb 2015). She carefully listened to all of my concerns, expressed sympathy, explained everything, and treated me with respect. She listened when I told her I thought I needed a different prescription, and gave me plenty of trial lenses to make a a decision over the next week. Dr. Moore is obviously very caring about her patients and excited about eye care in general. She has a lot of experience and technical knowledge of contact lenses, which helped me immensely. I genuinely enjoyed my time with her.The front office staff and opticians are also excellent. I have not purchased anything yet, since Im trying out lenses. However, no one pressured me to buy anything, even though I browsed frames for at least 30 minutes. They helped me understand my insurance benefits and helped me think about what frames I like, all without pushing for a sale. Surprisingly, the front office staff gave me my prescription when I paid for my exam. I didnt even have to ask for it. (Those of you that buy online, you know other opticians come up with all kinds of excuses not to give you your Rx, thereby forcing you to buy contacts/glasses at their office.) I was blown away! I did notice that the eyeglass prescription does not include my pupil distance, which you need if you want to order glasses online. Im sure theyll give it to me if I ask during my visit next week.My only limited complaint might be that it seems like they only offer designer frames. Not the place to go if youre looking for a cheap pair of glasses. But dont miss it for your annual exam!! Cant say enough good things.

Wonderful experience on my first visit today. Clean, bright comfortable. Dr. Simms was thorough, patient. The optician fixed my broken glasses and took measurements for.new frames. All staff from receptionist, pre-test staff, Dr. Simms, optician, billing staff were professional and patient focused.

I am really sad that they charged me about $700 for ortho k lenses which turned out unfit to me. As they are the only available eye enter for ortho k, i picked them and everything seemed good with their friendly services. I understand it’s also my fault that I didn’t ask how much it would be every time I made new appointment and ordered new pairs of lenses (because all of them didn’t fit me! But I don’t blame them nor the lenses company). And obviously Centreville eye care center didn’t tell me. When we decided to stop attempting since all pairs didn’t work, I was told there would be only $300 refund. As I said I understand we worked on it from May and we tried 3 or 4 pairs and we had about 10 appointments. It’s okay to pay the money as it is supposed to be, but I am just sad that with this big amount of money they didn’t mention it at all in any of my visit.

Always enjoy seeing Dr. Simms. Very thorough and professional! She always addresses me questions and concerns in a manner that I can understand.

This was my first visit. I was very much interested in purchasing a pair of Bobbi Brown frames, which is only carried by a few eye centers in the area. This location was in my area. I received a call to pick the frames up 2 weeks ago after waiting a week. I returned them the next day because there was so much glare. I purchased the AR covering but it was damage with scratches. Instead of them telling me they would make them a priority they told me it would take another 7-10 days. Im still waiting on the phone call for pick up. Customer service is very average by one of lady in the frames area.

Front staff excellent, optician is very rude, reluctant to help, total lack of manners. She does not communicate, just turns her back on you and walks away when you still need help (such as eye exam and glasses for a total of $1,000). If she does not want to help people she should stay in the back. Would not recommend!

Called with a vision problem and was asked to come in right away. I was seen by Dr Simms after having some tests done and she put my mind at ease. My problem was not serious and should go away on its own.

My appointment with Dr. Kathleen Moore was AWESOME! I have Nystagmus and she was VERY knowledgeable and knew exactly how to treat me as a Nystagmus patient. She is encouraging and will do what she can to improve my vision. I highly recommend her not only to Nystagmus patients, but to anyone.

Had a very unpleasant experience just trying to get an appointment with this office. The person who answer, Stephanie, was very rude and impatient. Additionally, I was told by this person that, until after the service is provided and a claim is filed, this office cannot tell me if my insurance carrier (BlueCross and BlueShield) is one that they accept or not. I found that to be very strange and not helpful at all.

Dr. Hale is fantastic, she is extremely thorough, knowledgeable, and best of all great sense of humor. I could not have asked for a better experience at an eye doctor.
