I love this Exchange! They have ample parking plus two EV charging stations. You get two hours of free charging so you can get charged up while you shop. How cool is that! They are conveniently located in Centreville so depending on what time you head there, it could get congested. If you live in the area and youre a military person, make sure you come by and check them out.Theres a lady by the front door that checks military ID card so be prepared to get asked and show it to them. The staff was really friendly- they all greeted us when we came in. The store still smelled like a brand new store. It was great.I walked around and checked out their aisles. Its a typical exchange. They were pretty stocked up and everything looked in order and arranged properly. We specifically came here to get a bottle of bourbon for a friend and let me tell you - their selection is amazing. We wont go anywhere else. Probably better than Ft. Myer or Belvoir. They had a HUGE selection of wine, alcohol, beer - you name it. Of course, they were priced a lot lower than your local ABC so we definitely came to the right place. We picked up four different bottles since they were such a great deal! I highly recommend.The cashier was a trainee but she was very friendly and efficient. She told me about the rewards program so I signed up and also gave me two gift cards worth $10 since I spent over $200. I guess Im going to have to come back next week :)As I was walking out the building, I realized that the cashier accidentally gave me an extra dollar so I came back around and gave her the dollar back.Such a great place to do your shopping. I highly recommend!

I have been impressed with this store since it opened. It is well run with an excellent product spectrum. They have awesome sales to include multiple scratch offs during the year. So much better run then the Army and Air Force Post / Base Exchanges. Would highly recommend!

I really like this exchange. Since I live in Fairfax, this exchange is more convenient than Ft. Belvoir, Ft. Meyer, and Quantico. This exchange has a large selection and the prices are very competitive. Last weekend I visited this exchange with a friend. The staff were quick to help us locate what we were looking for. Additionally, they offered to price match any price within the regional area.Thank you Josh for your EXCELLENT customer service!

Great place, great staff

I visited the Coast Guard exchange, in Centreville, Virginia, again yesterday and was so impressed with the staff. Everyone had a smile and greeting when we crossed paths, and each asked if I were finding everything I needed. I can usually find what I need but when I do need help, they know exactly where the item is that I’m looking for. They drop what they’re doing and cheerfully assist me. This means a lot because in some stores staff is almost invisible to the customer. Lauren checked me out yesterday and patiently answered my questions concerning their return policy. I’ve never needed to return an item, but I like to be informed of the rules when purchasing clothing.Going to the Coast Guard exchange, in Centerville, is almost like visiting family.Thank you

Ive found some really good bargains here. They have a large Class 6 shop in here with great prices as well. Join the CGX club for free and get $10 off first purchase.Must have military exchange privileges to shop here. They check ids at the door. Its a great place to buy Coast Guard souvenir clothing, e.g. t-shirts, sweat shirts, flags, etc.

I’m not understanding why it’s so hard to understand. Store for military personnel. If you want to go in - join the military and fight for your country. Other wise don’t complain.Military personnel put their lives on the line to have little perks like not paying tax in military stores and you people do nothing and want the same.. people that give this store a 1 star reviews because they can’t go in are pathetic.

Took a quick trip to check out this new Exchange. Its nicely setup! It has a good size cosmetics and liquor section and a small scattering of everything else.

Lots of alcohol and clothes. Was looking for toys. There was none.

Giving it a 1-star review because you arent military affiliated is silly. Join the military. Giving it a 1-star review because Shoppers Food closed, which the Exchange had nothing to do with, again, is not a reason to give the Exchange a 1-star. If you cant shop there and give them an honest rating, dont rate them. I can, so, under that premise, their selection is great, the prices were really good, and the customer service was really great. And, I was happy to see they had a ticket counter! No driving to Bethesda or Ft. Belvoir! Thank you Coast Guard.

Very nice facility. Top end merchandise. Staff still learning the st po tr had a hard time dealing with the Christmas rush. A little hard to find but plenty of parking.

I’m just confused as to why they took Shoppers down.. a grocery store that ANY and EVERYONE could shop at, to put a store only for military personnel.. You can’t shop here unless you are in the military.. had I known this, I would have bought some things during the grand opening (which by the way was very misleading). Great job guys..

There is nothing special about this store. If you are nostalgic about shopping in a BX with limited selection, overpriced merchandise, and limited sizes this is the store for you.Alcoholics will love CGX.

Dear Coast Guard Exchange, please post on Google and your website that you have changed your hours. You are closing at 7pm, not 9pm as listed online. I dont like to drive five miles to find a store closed.
