This was the first time I have ever purchased jewelry, it was a gift for my girlfriend. Against the advice of some friends, I decided to try Jared. I purchased a sapphire necklace on line. When I went to go pick it up at the store, something did not look quite right to me, I brought it up to the sales associate, Jules Santos. It was my first jewelry purchase so I asked for his opinion. He looked at it and claimed it was fine. When I left the store I looked at the store again in natural light and noticed the inside of the stone looked scratched, spotty and the outside had scuff marks. I texted pictures of the stone to multiple friends who make a lot of jewelry purchases, they said to return it immediately because the imperfections were glaringly obvious and it clearly was not what was pictured on line. When I returned to the store, the sales associate who I spoke to, Jules Santos, was gone. I spoke to a girl at the register, told her what happened, and she agreed that there were noticeable imperfections to the stone. She then tried to sell me a replacement sapphire for $680 but claimed it would not have imperfections. I felt so deceived. I will never trust Jared for any future jewelry purchases. I cannot trust the quality of the stones and especially cant trust the sales associates. The fact that Jules Santos didnt even acknowledge the terrible imperfections but the girl who processed my return did, that completely broke my trust with this company.

We had the most wonderful experience buying an ring at .Was incredibly helpful, patient, and knowledgeable. We were able to find the most perfect ring and never felt pressured or rushed. We cant wait to get our wedding bands here as well! Im so happy to have found such a reliable, honest jeweler that we can keep coming back to!

DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DO NOT BUY FROM JARED!A week ago, my fiancé lost one of her diamonds from the center of her engagement ring (approximately 1/4 carat princess cut). No big deal, since we also purchased the insurance for such a case.She immediately contacted Jared in Cerritos since the store in our area (Torrance) closed permanently when the pandemic hit.When my fiancé arrived with our 3 little kiddos at the store, she was given a very hard time for not bringing the ring to the store for the mandatory 6 month cleaning and therefore they are not going to honor the insurance. Keep in mind, 6 months earlier we were still in lockdown. My fiancé broke down in tears.After talking to the Manager there, her name is Claire, my fiancé was promised that the ring will be taken care of at no cost (honoring the insurance) and that the ring will be returned BEFORE our wedding date of July 24th 2021. The Manager, Claire, even wrote “urgent” as the promise date of the ring on the receipt (Promise date is July 9th on the receipt). So far so good… but here comes the kicker, today 19. June 2021, my fiancée received a phone call from Claire from the Cerritos store, telling her that the ring now has to be sent out overseas for repair with a turn around time of at least 180 days and at our cost no less than $700…. And this literally 35 days before our wedding!My fiancé is a mess… thanks for ruining our wedding day Jared!IF YOU DONT WANT TO DEAL WITH A SITUATION LIKE THAT THEN DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND GO TO A REAL JEWELRY STORE AND NOT JARED!

Manny helped me today. He answered all my questions and was very friendly and helpful. I left knowing so many good details about my purchase. Also should mention, you have to call first to make an appointment. Everyone wore masks and they were constantly cleaning and sanitizing. Overall outstanding experience and Im so glad we decided to go with Jared.

Anyone coming here please see Matt. Simplified everything to make sure I was taken care of from the very beginning til the very end. To be honest I did not really trust anyone but my own research til Matt had me trust him on the diamond. Let me tell you he got me what I wanted within my budget and had it all within the time frame provided. Will be coming back to purchase more rocks from this man.

Nice store, i went in here just to browse and look at the jewelry because i cant afford to buy any of it, and the store associates were very nice but they were pretty pushy, i felt rushed by them, not very good customer service

Let me first say that Diamond, Claire, and Celeste are absolutely AMAZING! I couldnt have gotten better service here. I had ordered a custom ring from Jared and it came out hideous, nothing like the photo. It looked like something that was ordered off of Wish. When I took it into Claire, she completely agreed and made it right for me and my wife. She spent so much time with us and made sure that my wife got exactly what she wanted. Diamond made sure her ring was ready that day! My wife couldnt be happier and I couldnt be happier. As long as Im in Southern CA, I will never go to another Jared location.. this one has it all! I have been ring shopping for a while now and i been to there sister brand which is kay’s jewelry and nothing compare to jared los Cerritos i will totally comeback to this place to hopefully buy the band if i can give this place more stars i would1. They dont push you2. Better variety/prices3. Better customer service4. The manager isnt on your back reminding you about there finance or helping you choose a ring for your future wifeDO NOT GO TO KAY JEWELERS LONG BEACH BY THE PIKE!!

My husband surprised me with beautiful infinity bracelet for Christmas and he was told that if it did not fit, his wife could come in after Christmas free of charge to have it extended as needed as he had purchased the warranty. I went in after receiving the bracelet since it will not clasp and was told I needed to add a safety chain of >$60 plus $20-30 fee to attach the safety chain to the bracelet. My husband and I were shocked that we would have to spend an additional $80 or more just for the bracelet to fit. We were told the warranty only covered if the current clasp broke. Told my husband not to go there for valentines day or our 5 yr anniversary in march!

Customer service is somewhat lacking. I had a Pandora bracelet with a defective clasp and brought it in to have it checked out within 2 months of purchase. The salesperson stated the clasp was fine but it wasnt because it kept coming off my Moms arm. Needless to say my Mom lost her bracelet. You know they wouldnt replace the bracelet even though they knew I had brought it in regarding the defective clasp. The bright side to the story is I contacted Pandora and they replaced the bracelet and a couple of the charms. Yeah Pandora takes care of their customers!

The manager Gary has been helpful every time I visited the store to make a purchase. I received nothing but professional courtesy that extended to each subsequent visit. I have purchased both sets of diamond earrings for both of my daughters. I purchased the engagement ring for my wife and several other items.

The Associates are very friendly, professional and knowledgeable of jewelry in their store. The entire store is very clean and very easy to browse the different types of jewelry that is for sale.

Purchased a beautiful ring but within the first 3 months I kept coming back over and over again for repairs which was really annoying and embarrassing. Life happened and tried to return the ring which was still in great condition but they said they couldnt take it back or anything and refused to help. To add insult to injury I was given a number of points for the purchase which I was told it was good till I spend it. But when I returned to redeem those points I was told they expired about 2 months after that purchase so they were gone and there was nothing I can do. I will never go back and if everyone wants a better experience I suggest Zales they have made things so much easy for the customer. I have already told numerous people to avoid Jared.

Wonderful experience. Very helpful costumer service and they have a beautiful selection to choose from for any occasion. Fast, efficient and they even have a playroom for kids. Definitely recommend.

Review for 1 Employee: Gary Altman. I have worked with him 3x times and each time has been a great experience! I have worked with 2 other people. Once being a girl from Asian decent. She was very about herself and seemed she was more worried about just getting a sale and bragging about her fiance. We worked with another gentleman who was ok but didnt stand out by any means. I will keep going back to this location only because of the customer service of Gary. Request him if you can!!

Poor customer service. I walked in with my girlfriend to purchase our wedding rings and the three females who were behind the counter did not attend to us. Needless to say, we walked out and purchased our wedding rings at Kay Jewelers.

Everyone is always beyond helpful and although they are doing their job upselling, it’s never too much or annoying. I will be doing all of my Jewelry shopping here.
