I called 4 Hearing Aids places and left 4 messages requesting a return call to make an appointment for my 95 year old father. Carrie at Connect Hearing at the Cerritos location is the only one who returned my call. She saw us in the same day and was very helpful, pleasant and professional. I highly recommend this location and highly recommend Carrie. Thank you Carrie! 100% thumbs-up!

My brother suffered from severe hearing challenges. His hearing had gotten so bad that the only way to communicate with him was through written notes. His hearing was so bad I was convinced that nothing would help, but my brother was determined to try hearing aids. We decided to give Connect Hearing in Cerritos a shot. We met Carrie Gomez, the hearing aid specialist. She was SO fabulous! She explained the process, was so generous with her time and truly took excellent care of my brother! The results were astonishing! From the back seat, on our way home from his adjustment appointment, my brothers was hearing conversations happening in the front seat for the first time in as long as I can remember. It has transformed him into a happy person who can now engage others in conversation and participate in society! Thank you, Connect Hearing!!

I feel like the luckiest person in the world. I I have an important new job assignment tomorrow and I recently lost my hearing aids. Theyre really important to me because I work with people who are ill in a hospital as a social worker and some clients will likely speak softly. I was really afraid I wouldnt be able to hear them and would not be able to do a good job. I was able to get in today to see Garrett at Connect Hearing in Cerritos, and I was amazed that he was willing to lend me hearing aids after doing an Audiology test. He also described the test results to me in detail and answered questions patiently which was really helpful because it was a bit hard for me to understand. He was friendly, very personable, knowledgeable and helpful throughout the whole process and gave me excellent customer service.

Like previous reviews, id like to recommend this location as professional, friendly and competent. I am so happy with my hearing aids I feel like a new woman. My depression has lifted. I praise God for leading me to Garrett. Thank you.

They take care of my wifes problem with her hearing aid equipment so seriously and wholeheartedly, at any reasonable time they have available.Dr. Garrett and Priscilla in the Connect Hearing should be the place to all for all hearing Aid. We are vouching not only of their expertise but also for their genuines care in taking care of us anytime we have a problem in the hearing aid equipment they provided us.My wife is now able to have her hearing back with the hearing aid they built fitting to her.My wife and I have no regret at all. I had seen 4 audiologists before visiting Connect Hearing Cerritos.The audiologist and receptionist were wonderfully pleasant, and the pricing through Medicare was “pure awesome sauce.”The 1ST PROBLEM was the DELAY that occurred in acquiring the hearing aids. Nearly 2 weeks after testing, I called to find out why there was such a delay in receiving the aids, and they said “OOP.” Because I called, the process to acquire the aids then began. They could have been acquired in just a few days!The 2ND PROBLEM was the discrepancy between Connect Hearing’s price list and the prices printed in my Medicare booklet of benefits. When I finally got to the bottom of this discrepancy via a 3-way phone conversation between me, Connect Hearing and the Medicare rep, the problem turned out to be lack of communication to me on the part of Connect Hearing.The 3RD PROBLEM was that the audiologist failed to write down my color selection and ordered the wrong color.The 4TH PROBLEM was that the audiologist gave me 12 batteries to last the 45-day return privilege period. I pointed out that 12 batteries would last about 21 days. After my info, he did give me a box of batteries to fix that problem.A 5TH PROBLEM was that the audiologist just popped the new batteries right into the aids. The 4 audiologists I’d previously seen all told me to remove the adhesive strip from a battery and place the battery on a desktop for 1-2 minutes to extend its life.A 6TH PROBLEM was that both earbuds he attached are the same size, even tho one ear canal is quite smaller. This causes one aid to rest outside the ear canal; so hearing is better in the well-fitted side.A 7TH PROBLEM is that my previous 4 sets of purchased hearing aids had retaining wires, a nice feature that adds a little more security to the fit. My previous audiologists secured this nice wire to my hearing aids; however, Connect Hearings audiologist did not.An 8TH PROBLEM is that the audiologist showed how to use a cleaning brush with the hearing aid, but did not supply the brush as my previous 4 audiologists did.A 9TH PROBLEM is that the hearing aid model recommended has a manufacturers fault: I am having to apply quite some force to close-in the battery; it should easily snap shut.A 10TH PROBLEM is that the audiologist recommended Phonak hearing aids, the same brand I had purchased through Costco. He said my Phonak hearing aids were substandard to Connect Hearings Phonak hearing aids. Why would Connect Hearing offer a manufacturer who had distributed substandard hearing aids, ever?And finally, an 11TH PROBLEM is, after the purchase, I am being taught how to change microscopic filters, which involves perfect eyesight, manipulation and memory for an elderly person. My previous Phonaks worked years with no filter changes. Had I known about this filter maintenance prior to the purchase, I would have asked for hearing aid recommendations that do not require this maintenance.So, my wrong-color hearing aids are from a top-notch manufacturer, could work better with proper fitting, and are wonderfully-priced through Medicare.I will need another appointment to address the earbud, retaining wire, cleaning brush and shutting issues mentioned above, but at this point am not setting my hopes too high. Having zero issues with my previous audiologists, except that they were commission-driven, has resulted in my lack of confidence in Connect Hearing to fix things that should have never happened in the first place.In conclusion, the unbusinesslike handling of the order, the pricing discrepancies, and poor communication that resulted in unnecessary weeks of delay on the part of “OOP” Connect Hearing were truly grievous.Keep in mind that I am comparing my experience with Connect Hearing to 4 other companies. I hope this is helpful, especially to first-time purchasers.

Jonas Holl M.A., FAAA is so nice and knows all about hearing aides. I had read a lot about the product I wanted and got exactly that and when I have needed questions answered or service since I purchased he has been there and made everything easy. I am so glad I chose Connect Hearing in Cerritos. You hear of some people not happy with their hearing aides, maybe if they would have gone here, they would be as I love my hearing aides.
