Ive always had a good experience up until the day I went there and they were only taking cash..I didnt have cash so I couldnt get my coffee.the cashier said oh sorry cash only...I WAS going there EVERYDAY so I would think instead of throwing the coffee away or whatever she did with it she would offer it to me and just get the money for it on my return visit..Customers are only important when they are spending money I guess. Customer service goes far beyond fake smiles and extra napkins.

I frequent this place. Good coffee and fast service, but they often run out of things. The food is also consistently good, and the location is clean and convenient.

Got the caramel blended coffee. Was very good. Will come back!

Service can be slow but they take their time making your drink correctly and the kids are friendly. A refreshing spot in a convenient area when I dont feel like driving to Arabi Coffee house or down the road to PJs (which is entirely too sweet compared to French Press frozen)

Ive been there twice. First time the guy and gal were awesome! Went in today and these two broads were so rude! Instead of-heres your two caramel lafreeze-- it was a cold yell out and we were the only two in there! Meanwhile they whisper in hushed tones through their headset. Never go there again. Im sure no one cares though.

My car broke down right in front of this coffee house. I had to pull off of West Judge Perez into the parking lot to the west of French press. I had never been there before, but I had about a half hour wait in front of me until I would have some assistance with my vehicle. I needed to use the restroom, but I didnt want to be one of those freeloaders to just go into businesses and use their restrooms, so I ordered a diet Coke. The young ladies were nice enough to offer me a cup of ice, which was absolutely great because it was hot and humid outside.I noticed that the coffee house was absolutely immaculate. I had never seen such a clean establishment, especially around here. As I was waiting in the parking lot, in sight of the drive-thru window, one of the young ladies called out to me to ask if Id like a muffin. That was so nice of them. A refreshing reminder of humanity.I am very much looking forward to patronizing this business in the future. I wouldnt mind having a couple of their iced coffees why lie have some time to myself to get some computer work done while I enjoy them.

My girl got the Varamel monthly special. Said it was kind of sweet but liked it. This was her face when I explained what varamel was. (VARment and MELted cheese)

Since starbucks is nowhere near this area I gave this little store a try and I was pretty surprised. I encourage others to try it out to get their morning fix

I truly enjoy the ambiance and the environment that french press creates the moment you walk in the door. There is a particular worker, Shae, who truly embodies what it means to work at French press and it shows in the quality she produces. From the cappuccinos to the sandwiches and salads, it is difficult to pick only one amazing thing about this coffee shop.

Always the nicest people, my coffee is perfect, prices are great, even have some tasty food. Line never seems to long and theyre quick.

Its ok but the owner showed courtesy to certain customers just like the cashiers told certain customers about the rewards program but not all. Owner should look at his own attitude so that maybe his workers wont duplicate such behavior. I assume he was the owner because he wore shorts and kept coming in and out of the back while throwing out instructions then he came out to entertain his father and a friend, speaking about baseball, while every few minutes looking at us as if to say I hope yall hurry and leave! Which is cool with me because I have NO PROBLEM never returning

Consistently awful. Ive given this location 3 tries and ordered 3 different hot coffees and they all taste like there is no coffee. Your getting $5 warm milk. HorribleThere are no cars in the drive through ever, this must be why. Someone teach these people how to make a coffee!!

****UPDATE****Just curious why you dont open earlier than 7am. Most coffee shops are open around 5am to cater to customers that have to work earlier shifts. I hope your hours change and open earlier.UPDATE: 05/2021Ive finally have had the chance to try the place. I had a Creme Brule frozen coffee which was very good. I havent had the hot coffee yet but I hear its pretty good. My rating is upgraded from 1 to a 4 because they have corrected the opening hours to6am most days. Thank you management for listening to your customers wishes.

It is better than Starbucks and trust me I love Starbucks.

Good food and great staff

It took a very long time to get our order.The bubble tea is so sweet that it’s repulsive, they didn’t even have pearls! The wrap is the delicious, but they had a random pickle at the bottom of the container. One of girl’s looked really confused about everything and seemed like she didn’t even want to work there, yet one other male employee was very nice.

Love it! Go for the hot chocolate!Reasonable prices.

First time trying the Chalmette location since it’s opened. Be prepared to wait in long lines. Lots of French Press fans out here. The La Freezes I bought were way too liquidity. It looked like it had been sitting out for a while and melted. Which I know was not the case since I had just ordered it. I’m sure they’re going to work on this because I don’t have this issue at any other FP location. They just opened so hopefully it gets better next time.

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. We spend 70 dollars on food and wait half an for the orders to be completely wrong. The only good thing from here is the coffee and there are many better places to get coffee in the parish. Dont waste your money here. Youll be disappointed.

I pulled up at 4:15 and the lobby is locked. The sign on the front door says use the drive-thru, but a truck was blocking it. I found out they closed way before 4. So now I have to go all the way to PJs, Definitely not off to a good start.

The LA freeze is good, however the regular coffee and iced coffee gave me upset stomach and needing to use the restroom frequently. Thats bad because I drink straight black cold brew all the time from coffee house and that doesnt happen.

Rude Staff and they’re slow. Repeated my order 4 times and it was still wrong. I was excited to see a French Press being built in Chalmette but it is such a disappointment. And even though I’m a nurse I was told I couldn’t get a discount because I don’t work at Ochsner Hosp.
