We had been Verizon customers for years. Few months ago we switched users mainly because we got a better deal on our cells. We had a very old issue that need to be addressed with a tablet and we were sent to the corporate store. When we got there the first gentleman was willing to help us, gentlemen number two who was a supervisor couldn’t be bothered with us he was rude, cocky, and couldn’t really give us the time of day. Due to that I had to spend yet another day on the phone with customer service who was amazing and very helpful and I had to make a trip back to the store that day, behold guy number two was actually there. And when I went out for my appointment it was a guy number one that waited on me and he knew exactly what to do because I had customer service on the line with me. This never should have happened. Any person that walks into the store is a customer right off the bat I don’t know if guy number two didn’t want to help us because he wasn’t getting commission for it or what his malfunction was. Gentlemen number one did take care of the issue with customer service and it was resolved I believe the store needs to keep a closer eye on the supervisors to make sure that they’re doing their jobs as well and treating everyone as they should be, and make sure they have the proper training that they need at all times to address all issues. I give huge kudos to the customer service representative that I spoke with they were a kind patient and considerate and completely understood where I was coming from. Will we returned to Verizon only time will tell.

Went to purchase new phones. Store was understaffed and was told it would be about 1 to 1.5 hour wait. We gave our name and cell number. We said we would return well before the hour. We were told that if we walked out the doors we would forfeit our place. Tried to discuss what options we had. No options. Wait in store or lose your place. He then proceeded to ask us to leave. Pathetic service.

Went to store in chambersburg to have my wife’s phone looked at, was not working properly. When we on the store, No one greeted us and told us what to do, we took a seat to wait. Another couple came behind us they were greeted and told someone will be with them. They were at shippensburg store and were not satisfied with the service and came to chambersburg. We talked with them and generally customer service has been going down hill everywhere. The employee at Verizon told us to leave store or we was calling the police. He said we were belittling the employees. Talked to a second employee and he told us to leave. Neither one would give us there names. We did not belittle the employees. They handled this in a very unprofessional way. With that said we will be leaving Verizon. I can’t believe we were treated this way.

Was told by an employee, it was an appointment for a phone upgrade so I schedule an appointment. Get there and theres 3 families ahead of us that were all walk ins. Finally get to the employee to find out after 20 minutes of searching my account that theyre arent any of the phones on display in stock and that they only receive 2 phones a day max. How are you a phone store that doesnt have phones? Worst experience Ive had with a phone company yet.

Waited for fifteen minutes. Then was informed that they needed my drivers license to verify my account. Refused to accept anything else. Spouse drove so I did not have my wallet. Were incredibly rude from the start. Acted as if it was a chore that we were there at all. When we asked if there was any other way I could verify my account they were incredibly rude and condescending. I dont know why you didnt have it in the first place, why wouldnt you bring it with you places? Because I didnt drive?We were planning on bringing my spouse and his two kids onto my account. We will now be switching to AT&T instead seeing as Verizon has zero standards for customer service

If you dont buy the phone from them youll pay through the nose to activate it. Because they wont receive a commission. Always call corporate they will offer you free activation unlike the brick and mortar store which is out for every dime they can get despite them being a corporate entity. I purchase two phones from Best Buy an authorized retailer, new in the box and they refused to activate them. Corporate took care of it no problem no fee

Their signal is not as strong as used to be. Sometimes when we go to the top of mountain we dont have any signal. Even in the working place I barely get any signal. Back then we got very good signal. Time to change to another providers with better deal.

Pete, the friendly and extremely knowledgeable associate, helped my wife and myself almost immediately upon entering this location. He patiently helped my wife switch her current phone to her new phone. He also gave us helpful tutorials about the phone and made sure we had the right protection for the phone. If only more associates everywhere had the same demeanor people would be more likely to buy items in store instead of online. Cant say enough how helpful Pete was and that is also an Army Vet as well. He was certainly our hero today!

I have been coming here since before they moved. Customer service sucks now. The wait is always at least 30 minutes. Meanwhile, they have employees standing around to greet customers! Spend more time serving customers! When my contract is over.... Goodbye Verizon....

The staff at the Chambersburg, PA Verizon store are awesome! They will let you be if you are content to just look around, and or, listen to your wants and needs to better assist you yet they are not pushy. Plus it seems that they have good employee retention because some people have been working there for years which makes it nice when shopping for new devices and the one selling it kinda has an idea of your tastes and how temperate you are on devices.

Terrible customer service. I’ve been a returning customer there and have continued to purchase devices through this store and every time I’ve called or went into the store about a problem they are nothing but rude. They obviously just want to get rid of you if you aren’t going to buy anything because they aren’t making any money off of you. If you have a problem call customer service because they will actually help you. Also beware of fees that they will fail to tell you about, I called to ask what the fees were and was told I pretty much should have known and they were extremely rude and would not help me at all, called customer service and they took care of it for me. Won’t be doing business with this store again.

Don’t get cell service with any Verizon. They’re expensive, coverage in this area isn’t very good. You’ll end up with dropped calls and your phone will constantly say no service. They’ll even try to rip you off by sending you bills after you terminate services with them. Worst company ever!

The manager Brad was his name was completely rude. Picked up a phone there and they refused to activate it. Was completely rude unhelpful and refused to put me in contact with his boss. Drove an hour to the store for customer service and apparently that store does not offer such. After reading reviews I see that this is common for that location.

I hate our Verizon store on Wayne Ave. I have been there 3 times in the last several months to looks at iPhones and iPads. The heavy set man that sits at the desk is the rudest person I know.I went there today to purchase an iPad. The last couple of times I have gone there, the service person came to the door and greeted me and ask about helping me. When I walked in and the heavy set guy was at a desk and called across to me for my name and phone number. I told him what I needed and he told me to have a seat that when one of the sells people were available they would help me. I then asked where the Apple iPads were and he pointed to the wall and said over there. There was only one iPad there so I went and sat down to wait for the rep. When the rep came over I said about having only one iPad And he showed me 3 more displays of them. After talking to the rep I determined I did not need a new one. However, I wanted a keyboard for it and was told they did not have any. After getting into my car, I could not remember what kind I was to get so I called back into the store andguess who answered. The heavy set guy. He would not allow me to talk to the rep that had helped me nor would he help me. He just said that the rep was not available and hung up. I will never go to that Verizon ever!!!He was not busy this whole time just playing on his phone. Never again !!!!!!!!

Matt provided 5 star customer service! Instead of immediately trying to sell me another phone, he worked with me to back-up and troubleshoot mine. When it wasnt responding to troubleshooting, he immediately ordered a replacement, which was covered under warranty. Dont go to a different location--I didnt have the same experience in Hagerstown a week ago. The Wayne Ave location in Chambersburg cant be beat!

Went in twice in one day. The first time we were told the wait would be over 30 minutes yet there were sales associates standing around doing nothing. The second time we went and we were told we were next in line and after the sales reps completely disappear from the floor one emerged to help somebody else therefore we were not next in line. When we called to figure out if there would be anyoneavailable to help us in the near future we were hung up on. We ended up calling Verizon wireless and not only did they help us but gave us an amazing deal. I will never go back to the store from now on I will always call Verizon.

Being retired and experiencing questions, we we rudely told that anything not related to the hard drive, we need to find someone else to answer our questions. This from a ride female employee. Before this episode the men were patient and helpful in explaining things to us. Monitor your employees women. By the way, I am female, too so dont put me down as predjudiced against females. Why hire people with no people skills? And you expect ME to come buy my NEXT phone there at Wayne Avenue,?????

This store and the people that work here are the least helpful and dishonest sales people I have ever experienced. We were lied to from the salesperson about when our new iPhones would arrive and when we complained to the manager about their late arrival she did absolutely nothing and could care less. Had we ordered the phones direct from Apple they would have been here as expected. There was no incentive or discount to actually buy from this store and based on my poor experience with sales staff here I will never buy anything from their store again. We actually contacted a different Verizon store in the area who helped get us phones the day we should have had them. Which goes to show the laziness and incompetence of those at this particular store.

Unfortunately this location is the closest Verizon Store to me aside from authorized retailers. I have been a customer with Verizon for a very long time and I constantly have issues. It is most common to have sales representatives offer loads of seemingly useful information, only to be contradicted by other sales representatives or evidenced in my bill. The ONLY reason I continue to stay with Verizon is their online customer service. If it were only available through this specific store, I would have switched contracts years ago. My experience with every staff member has been unhelpful and invalid. Its incredibly frustrating and disappointing. The only information they have to offer is repeating what is already available online. Youre far better off saving money and time by purchasing online.

They would try and sell you back your phone if possible. I do admit nice people. But if I am coming to upgrade my phone or change something on my account I do not need to be haggled into buying extra stuff that I do not need. Please dont fall for them saying you need this $80 case to protect your phone and a $40 screen protector. You can buy a lifeproof or otterbox in walmart for $60 that does everything.

My wife went in to see about getting her 8 month old phone replaced after it fell in a toilet with the insurance that we have on it. She was talked into 3 new phones at the tune of $2300. I didnt want it and was told a 40% restocking fee for returning the 2 unused and unactivated phones that she came home with for myself and my son. I know she agreed to it and that is her fault. But the salesperson was very persistent and presuriing. Good customer service would have been to help her get her phone replaced under the warranty /insurancethat we have been paying for and not pushing new phones on her. Second thing is he talked her into almost$400 in accessories cases extra batteries and $70 in screen protectors with lifetime replacement warranty. He must have seen the big S on her forehead for sucker!!! What they didnt tell her is you have to pay $5 for each replacement. Now my wifes phone is on her 3rd protector since October mine is waiting for its 2nd that has been on order since Nov. The store told us after 14 days we have to deal with zagg which is the screen protector company. I found out that was not true through the Verizon 800 customer service. For the first year you can get it replaced at any Corp owned Verizon store. Needless to say this tells me they dont want to take care of the customer at the store all they want to do is sell!! Sell!! Sell to make their commission checks bigger!!! We have been with Verizon for almost 20 years and with this Im switching companies now. Hopefully this review helps further people from being taken advantage of and coaxed into stuff they dont need!!!
