Needed to change my order last minute and they did it with no problem. Extremely good cookies

I have given this place too many chances. the first delivery the driver left my cookies OUTSIDE & drove off without knocking or even a text. the second delivery, the driver was swearing over the phone cause he couldn’t find my house. the third time, I ordered in person and the cookies were hard & burnt.

This place had terrible customer service. You can only order online or the app, and when their online ordering was not working, they would not let me order with them at the counter. 3 workers were just standing there doing nothing when I walked in and asked if there was another way to order. You can’t even call the store to place your order, just to contact customer service. Luckily some nice person ordered off their app for me. When I got the order, the cookies were cold. This is not like how insomnia used to be. Incredibly disappointing

I went to place an order for our office and asked about tax exempt. I was given a number to call the corporate office. I called the number and I literally sat on the phone for 10 mins waiting for someone to answer. No one ever answered. No Insomnia Cookies for our office party.

Terrible customer service for a Champaign, IL order. I had to call 4 times to figure out whats going with the order. She claims they called the recipient, but I know either they called the wrong number or they didnt call. She got attitude when I asked what number they were calling. She threw it back at me, saying that she wasnt answering. (It never rang!) I wanted to cancel the order, but she said theyd deliver it when they were done with current orders. I asked if that meant two orders or twenty because the cookies were already five hours late, and I would prefer to cancel if it was going to take another hour. Finally after the fourth call, they sent another driver who got it right. The cookies are not worth the trouble if they cant deliver them.

Great cookies, fast service. The store is very small, it was packed on a Saturday afternoon. They have a vegan chocolate chip cookie which I appreciate. Its gluten free tooOnly problem I found is that online it says they open at 12 on Saturday when its actually at 1 pm they open

I ordered a 6 pack of cookies for delivery at 10:30pm and gave a pretty generous grace period of 2 hours and still no cookies. I cant get a hold of the store and neither can the corporate office. Never thought I be pulling an all nighter to get cookies before the squirrels do. Dont order here. This is the 2nd time this has happened

Would leave 0 if I could. Placed an order at 11:30pm and at 12:30am our order still said baking. I called for an update and was connected to a corporate line, who put me on hold while they tried to contact this location. After about 10-20 minutes, I was informed even CORPORATE couldnt reach the store and had no way of telling me where my order was or what was happening. I tried again to call the location myself and was sent directly to voicemail, which was full. This is actually the SECOND TIME this has happened at this location, too. Dont order here.

I find it crazy that other reviews say the service is great. I have never in the 3+ years Ive been ordering from Insomnia had good service. The order is always at least an hour past the time quoted. Today the order was supposed to be delivered by 12:30, then that got pushed to 1:30, then to 2. I finally called customer service and after looking into it she told me that they cant give me an ETA since theyre waiting on drivers. Literally she couldnt even tell me if it would be here before our business closes. No apology, no trying to make it right.... Nothing.The absolute only reason that I still order here from time to time is because the cookies are so good and theyre a nice boost for my employees sometimes. I just had to cancel my order and got no apology at all. This is not the first time that Ive had terrible customer service as well.

Fantastic cookies. Best in Champaign. But in the last few months there must have been a change in management. The shop is always understaffed and the staff always look overworked. Saturday night of graduation weekend had ONE worker in the store. Treat your employees right, or the 10+ minute times to be served will start to drive customers away!

Delivery driver was hostile and extremely upset HE couldn’t find my address only a 1/4 mile from the cookie shop. He also pulled up very violently swearing.

Tonight I was in Insomnia cookies 4 employees (none with masks on) told my ten year old daughter and I that we had to stand outside in the rain if we wanted cookies because we didn’t have masks on, if it wasn’t for my ten year old I wouldn’t have bought cookies and never will again, when I questioned the employees they said they had them on, they were not wrong but they were around their necks not on their faces

The gluten-free vegan chocolate chip cookies were so warm and gooey and absolutely amazing. The establishment caters to your needs, wants and desires in a timely manner as well as its an inviting and welcoming staff.If your coming through this way make sure to not miss out on this amazing establishment.

I wish I could give 0 stars. Was told “1 hour wait” which turned into 3 hours with zero communication. It’s now “unknown” when I’ll get my cookies, like they expect someone to pull an all nighter. Store doesn’t even pick up the phone. They gave me “6 free cookies with a purchase of $6” to “make up for it.” Stop taking orders if you can’t deliver them!! Would much rather support a local cookie business than this awful place with grumpy people. How hard is it to deliver 4 cookies???

Ok, oatmeal cookie is the best but they never have it, other cookies are ridiculously sweet, and I think its fair to say 3 hour delivery time for 4 cookies is unacceptable. Staff have always been nice at least.

They were about 10 minutes late with my delivery so I called them. The girl on the phone, who was super sweet, said that they would throw in some extra cookies and icing for me. They actually threw in SO many! I was so overjoyed. They also left me a super sweet note! Thank you, insomnia!!

Ordered last night around 10pm. Didnt receive my order till close to 12am. Ice cream was melted, cookies were cold and I was missing another order of 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream. I called and requested my ice cream be delivered and that the driver ring bell on delivery. I waited another hour just to walk outside and realize my ice cream was outside of my door melted. He didnt ring the bell to let me know it was there. Pretty bad 1st experience for my fiancé who doesnt want to order from insomnia cookies anymore after that. Too bad I tipped the driver before receiving his services. The ice cream and cookies were for our movie night 😔.

Horrific experience. I’ve had all good experiences up until now. Ordered for delivery around 9:50pm, cookies didn’t show up until 11:15pm. Worst thing is, when I called they apologized for being backed up... but then right after I hung up it was miraculously out for delivery.Did they forget? Probably.When the cookies showed up, it was hard and stale. AND missing 4 cookies! Super disappointed, I know it’s tough for everyone right now but this is ridiculous.I’m SO sad I have to write this review. C’mon Insomnia, what happened to the quality and care that was in every cookie a couple months ago? :(

Placed order at 11 got it at 3. No communication from delivery driver. Ice cream was melted and a mess. This is the second time they’ve taken more than 3 hours to deliver. It’s a shame because the cookies are actually quite nice.

My first experience here was AMAZING!!!!!!!!! The young man who helped us was SUPER patient. And he told me they didnt take cash and for whatever reason my brain still handed him cash. He was SUUUUPER sweet and politely reminded me (again) card only. He even laughed with me in my embarrassing moment. We will be back super soon.

Ordered cookies slightly before 10. Took about 2 hours to receive cookies delivered by postmates. I received a text an hour after the order was placed saying postmates would be delivering cookies soon. Would 100% picking up your own cookies. Did not have this issue when insomnia delivered the cookies.

This place is an actual joke, Ive ordered from here twice, and both times Ive ordered naroumd 10:30-11 pm and have had both drivers say my order was refused when thats obviously not true. That they couldnt get into my building...I dont have a building its open front and there are no gates or fences apt number clearly marked. Even called this last time after getting email saying that they couldnt deliver and talking to somebody at the store saying theydr out to the driver 5 HOURS NOTHING

My wife told me I needed to stop eating at Insomnia Cookies because it was eating up too much of our familys budget.I got a divorce.

The cookies are some of the best in town, so I dont feel too bad about the high price. However, the delivery is absurdly slow. The esimated delivery time when I ordered around midnight was 20-30 minutes, and the cookies didnt arrive until after 3am. When I called to ask about my order about 2 hours in, the customer service rep was friendly and gave me a coupon so I cant be too upset, but waiting 3 hours for cookies is slower than walking to the grocery store and making them myself.

We’re a little sad. Ordering online was a breeze and delivery was insanely fast. But our cookies were over cooked/burnt. We always choose Insomnia for its gooey cookies, but these ones were not them!

Very disappointed. Ordered 50 cookies to be delivered for a surprise birthday gift for my son’s class. Called customer service when they were 10 minutes late and they said they were 6 minutes out. Called again at 30 minutes past due and said driver Fernando had other deliveries as well. 45 minutes late. Not the best customer service. I wish if they couldn’t deliver at requested delivery time they would have contacted me so I could have made other arrangements. I have also learned not to tip online. I gave 2 stars because the cookies I have had in the past were delicious.

Best cookies on campus! Served warm by very nice staff. Took away 1 star because they didnt have any chocolate chip cookies ready. I was told it would be a 15 minute wait because they had no time to make them- even though the shop was empty when I entered. And they are a bit pricey. I paid close to $20 (with tax) for 12 cookies. But worth it for special occasions.

Ordered a heart shaped cookie online 2 days ahead for delivery on Valentines Day. It never delivered. Called Customer Service twice that day to follow up on it and all they could say was that this is their busiest day and that they could not get a hold of their bakery in Champaign. She also said they would send an email with a coupon for 6 free cookies which we never received. When I called to cancel the order two days later and request a refund, the person I spoke to sounded very unprofessional and without apology said I can expect a refund in 2 to 5 days. I guess paying over $30 for a cookie is not enough to cover for good service.

I love, love, LOVE these cookies! It’s insane how they never get old to me. (I have a notorious sweet-tooth, but even then I’m surprised at how eager I am to have one of these cookies whenever I get the chance to steal one from my friends!) I love the mint-chocolate ones, but the classic chocolate chunk/chip (I don’t even know what they’re called, I just wanna eat then) are my favorite. You gotta eat these fresh and warm for the maximum effect.

Ive never had an issue with this store until today. I ordered around 7 pm tonight and didnt receive my order until 10 pm. When I called customer service, they called management and relayed to them my issue. Management assured them that they would put extra cookies in my order due to the inconvenience and long wait. Not only did my order show up 3 hours late, I didnt get the extra cookies management had promised. Very irritated and disappointed. Customer service did give me a full refund so I am very happy about that. But come on!

Amazing cookies. Absolutely worth going for. It is a very small location, as they tend to be more focused on delivery rather than in-store shopping. This place also has amazing ice cream, though many only know if for cookies. It is fairly pricey, but believe me when I say that its worth it.

Only tried the triple chocolate, double chocolate cookie and 1 scoop vanilla ice cream. The cookies were melt in mouth, freshly baked. DELICIOUS!!!

The cookies here are amazing, which one would hope given the name. What really struck me was how friendly the service was, and the only complaint I have seems to be the lack of diversity in cookies. Not a big enough of an issue to warrant removing a star, mind you.

Good service and cookies and ice cream are good. I wouldnt say outstanding, but definitely above average. Way overpriced. There was a place just like this where I lived before that was about the same but the prices were MUCH more reasonable. Not worth it to me. The price is my only complaint. Definitely worth trying at least once to see for yourself.

This is literally my first negative review ever. Im a firm believer in trying to keep my reviews positive..however, the estimated delivery time was 30-40 minutes..I waited over an hour and 10 minutes to call and check the status of my order and the lady said it had not left the store yet..I cant review the cookies themselves because I had to void the order. We have work in the morning. The store has a great concept, but they should maybe consider hiring another driver or two.

I ordered a box of 50 cookies for the company I work for today, and they were a hit! Joe helped me order the cookies, and the people who worked at the shop were very friendly. Great service and great products!

Ordered online for delivery last night. Was quoted at 25-30mins. Finally got my cookies 2.5 hours later. When the driver got to my house, he called me and made my boyfriend go outside to get the cookies. And there was a deal for 3 free cookies for the online delivery order and those werent in the box. The cookies werent warm at all and definitely not worth the wait or the amount of money I paid for them.

It was great that they visited our work place and gave us information and cookies to try, but they told us they delivered to our area and when we called to order quite a few cookies they told us they actually did not. Bummer.

Ordered only 6 cookies from them and their overpriced milk and 2 of the cookies were missing. When I called back they just said they would refund me for the cookies (even though I did want them I mean I ordered them) and who knows when Ill actually get the refund. I was already skeptical of ordering from them and now Ill satisfy my late night sweet tooth in other ways.

The delivery driver gave my order to someone else so I had to wait an extra 30 minutes to get my cookies. Asked the guy at the store if Id getmy money back. He told me Id have to call the call center. I call the call center and they said theyd give me a coupon for 6 free cookies. I looked at my email and I got a coupon for 6 cookies if I spend another $6 there. Like what? Why would I have to spend more money for them messing up? Delivery driver was a really nice guy though ran out in the rain to give me my cookies.

Placed an order online and had an offer for three free cookies with the order. I selected this, and after a long wait, the delivery service did not deliver the extra cookies with my order. Furthermore, the line on the receipt for the offer was crossed out in Sharpie, and the delivery guy quickly got back in the car before I could mention it. Awesome cookies, there open real late and they have a variety of cookies to choose from, their real big cookies are really good but you pretty much can only eat one because they are so chocolatey, at least for me anyways. Dont ever buy a milk from here, its too expensive you will pay the price of a gallon of milk for a small jug of milk. There icecream is not anything special, just the cookies are good.

I recently placed an order in which evidently the address was mixed up on my order is it 308 in which I typed 305, and which I also gave them my number and gave them instructions to call me when they were outside. I called twice once the line hung up the second time the person I talk to on the phone I felt kinda like they were accusing me that they didnt call me when they were outside when I was looking at the driver and trying to wave him my Direction with my flashlight. I was going to walk to the car but I have flip flops on and there were a couple of inches of snow on the ground so I chose not to. In short I was never called back to see if they were going to redeliver my order or anyting so at this time

Insomnia cookies are really good, but theyre also really expensive. Not to mention, the delivery service takes a very long time. Fun place to go once or twice, but dont make a habit of it.

They take advantage of the fact that they have a sort of monopoly of good cookies. Takes 2+ hours for delivery and they almost always get something wrong in a big order. Not worth the wait for sure.

Hot, fresh, delicious cookies. Double chocolate chunk is my personal favorite.
