I am a new customer. My machine is on order, so my only feedback is my interaction with the local staff. They have been very helpful in explaining things and putting in the order.
Former Employee - Now Patient, I should have listened to my customers!Reviewing the billing portion of this company not the local branch which is wonderful but does NOTHING with billing -I worked this local branch for a few years outside of college as a CSR, and customers use to complain about the billing department and get upset about charges on their bill with me when I didnt have the first thing to do with billing. Boy - I wish I would have listened to their horror stories!! Fast forward 10 years and I chose them for my CPAP and supplies. Big mistake! Their billing is horrible. Double billing, statements that dont match up to EOBs, improper billing of claims, faulty preauthorization, they dont give you very long to pay the bill before charging late fees, their statements dont contain the right information to be accepted by my flex spending company, and this is before you even get someone on the phone! I cant get answers during phone calls, I get a different story every time, I get told to call back with my insurance company on the line, or that theyll have someone call me back which never happens. Overall, very disappointed they would treat anyone like that, let alone a prior employee!
The medical equipment provider my doctor suggested couldnt get me in for over a month, even though I have severe apnea. They never told me about other medical equipment providers. The doctors choice also required an in-person appointment which I didnt want or need. Apria told me how to change to them and shipped my equipment out and I received in about 5 days and started using it right away with no problems. I called Apria twice with questions and got them answered right away. My experience with them has been great!
My most recent experience was the last straw with this place. Their incompetence has delayed my CPAP order for over a month. No follow through. I have always had to call them to find out what is holding up the order. Always on them. And I have been a customer for over 20 years!
This place is a scam.Sometimes they answer the phone sometimes they dont. Nobody ever knows everything.18 months after moving my records to another supplier I receive items from ups. They dont have my records or account. They lied and told me my insurance accepted them, big lieStay away from this company!! You have been warned.
No weekend emergency service for oxygen concentration machine. I did what Apria does recorded their phone call of non answer for a lawyer and jury should it be needed. 911 response also agreed Apria should have 24 X 7 service including weekends. Apria has about 3 different phone numbers for service and I phoned all of them and no answer what so ever. WHAT WE NEED ARE LAWS MAKING COMPANIES LIKE APRIA RESPONSIBLE!
Complete scum. Do not use them. Carle Medical Supply isnt much better, but theyre far better than these people. Ive had to threaten them to get them to stop calling me for refills. Just horrible, horrible people.
Corporate is terrible. If you call toll free expect problems.Local office were helpful.
Gotta agree with these poor reviews. Apria does not seem to have any urgency at all to get you the equipment you need. If pharmacies worked like this, they would be out of business in a week. time to find someone who actually wants my business!!!!
If you need weekend assistance, dont call Apria. After a lengthy hold and a 20 minute conversation with an overseas call center twice, my call was conveniently disconnected.
You cant reach anyone locally. The number you call is in Florida! They tell you to physically go to the office in town if you have a question or problem!
