Staff at this location is super nice! My son asked me to get Pokémon cards & I had no idea where those were. Angelina looked busy when I asked her but she gladly walked with me across the whole store and helped me find the right ones. She also helped me grab a couple food items from the back when the shelf was empty.

RACIALLY PROFILED. I was with a group with only Hispanics. during self checkout and we split up paying for our things but then soon realized that there were employees watching us. i havent noticed until my sister called out my name and as i turn around saw a workers looking at us. i assume they believed we were going to steal considering the fact they would tell us you didnt pay for that. when we clearly did and again, so many workers there [usually like 1-2 but there was more then usual]. We asked for the manager and the managers name was Linda, i dont remember her last name. she was apart of the situation.
Something must have changed! Customer service has been amazing and the store is full of friendly faces! It definitely makes you want to return here. I would not waste my time shopping here there discriminating against people with disabilities management hr team to they wont call or hire I have a disabilities and been treated horrible here very disappointing I would love to work for a mn company but even if I did get a job here I would be a little a faird of management or hr hold these against me. This store must be under some new management. I went in today and it was a night and day difference to even just last week. The store is well staffed, the staff are friendly, the store was well stocked, it was clean. I 0 wait at check out. The displays were nice and organized and they had new things out. Donna made us the most beautiful cake for our daughters end of treatment party. She put a lot of effort energy and thought into it and it turned out more beautiful than we could have imagined and it tasted wonderful as well! Definetly recommend!

Normally very quick processes at checkout. Except recently there is a huge understaffed problem. Plus I personally think people are very unhappy with the presence of Self checkout and want more cashiers instead.
The service from the greeters at the door to the person gathering my items was pleasant and timely. I received everything I asked for and the quality is great.
I called to ask for an item availability, and this employee named Linda did not give me any information. She simply said We are not doing inventory.... and there was some choppy background noises so I could not hear what she was saying.I would not recommend calling them, you might as well waste your time to go in and look for an item yourself.If you are an employee and are asked nicely to check an item for a customer, wouldnt you try your best to insure if the item is in stock or not?I called at 2pm, I would recommend calling at other times.- Comet
Ive been in a lot of Target locations, but this one is usually top-notch. Probably because they are so close to the corporate offices and the store manager is also very good.They are very clean, the isles are usually free from clutter and the associates are usually friendly. They will frequently open extra registers if lines back up. Their Halloween selection is also very good this year.
I love shopping here so why not give the best score. It was nice and not overwhelming during this pandemic. Ashley was kind and very friendly when I was checking out! Thank you for an amazing experience today

Ive been shopping at Target for years, never had any bad interaction.
Today only two checkouts open, and the self check line was about 20 people long. PI tried to get the attention of an employee close by, and they ignored me. I called guest services from my phone, and the person who answered was rude, and said they would not be opening more lanes.
Alvin was super nice at check out and asked how my day was going which was thoughtful. Very amazing employees here!

Managers are just the absolute worst. Tried price matching an item from Walmart and they couldn’t even do it! Then the manager pulled up a price that was higher than what they originally had in the store. Eventually the manager gave up and just denied my price match from Walmart because it was simply “too good”... with no explanation!“Expect more. Pay Less”... yeah right, more like Expect less, pay more.Target should be competing with their competitors instead of turning away their customers.

Your store has the best check out people and staff, the store was clean and my white gloves stayed white, most of the products were on hand and I love having Tuesdays and Wednesdays for us older people with medical issues.

I was at Target in Champlin yesterday (May 18) to buy birthday and graduation cards, and was SO disappointed to find the card aisles practically empty!! Whats up? Is no one restocking shelves!? I was so frustrated that I went to a competitor and found their shelves completely full. Next time I need greeting cards it wont be Target. Sorry ...

I lost my wallet awhile ago, and this target was the last place I had it. I called them and let them know, told them where I parked and what lane I was in. They called me a bit later, after reviewing the camera footage, searching around and everything, saying they didnt find it, but took my name and number just in case it turned up. I did find it elsewhere later, but was impressed with the amount of effort they were willing to go through to help me out!

I have always loved Target. I havent been in a store for over a month and was a little apprehensive about going in. It seems like the employees are cleaning and taking care of the store and customers very well. I appreciate everything Target is doing during this pandemic. I still will shop there like always.
I love Target and this store is great with a new and modern look. The employees are helpful and courteous. The ONLY reason for the two star rating is the store Manager Mutesima. Rude, not helpful and does not put the customer first. She just does not seem to care if she losses a customer because of her behavior. To bad because otherwise the store is great. Ill be shopping at a different Target from now on.

Nice, clean, came for some yarns but this store dont have in stock, check their inventory computer screen, other Targets carry only which is another 15 min drive. Some Target offer online.

I love my Target stores (I have two close by that I hit frequently) and the employees are always great. But PLEASE open more checkout lanes - hire people that you need to staff them! Self checkout lanes are OK for a couple of items but a real hassle with a full cart and/or with any unique item.
They have promotion in the store say when you spend $100 baby food you gone get $20 gift card but they lie so today I spend $135 but no $20 gift card when I ask her Where is the $20 gift card she say its online-only customer service is horrible her name is Maddi I do not appreciate the way she treat me then i ask her where is the manager she say I am the manager but she cant solve the problem as a manager she should do better job I waste my time Im disappointed these target Brooklyn Park is better.
I messed up and didnt select drive up like I thought I did. The employee (Im sorry I didnt get her name-long dark hair) who came out to help another car, let me know my order was for pickup inside. I am on day 12 of self quarrantine after travel, so didnt want to go in. She got my order and brought it out to me. She is awesome!!!!!

Updated: 10/5Score increased from two stars to five.While Im not sold on the remodel layout I do have to admit that the quantity of products provides customers a lot of options to purchase.However; neither products nor remodels is what earns Target this five star review its their customer service. I had an issue with a sizable purchase on 10/4 with a receipt that failed to print and I was the first customer of the day. The young men who assisted went above and beyond and I really hope their manager reads this because they deserve to be recognized.I look forward to being a repeat customer!

There were only 4 cash registers open when I completed my shopping and needed to check out at the Champlin Target store, today (Saturday) around noon. Each line had anywhere from 6-10 people waiting in line. The self checkout line was much longer. Im not a fan of the self checkout lanes as its taking away jobs from people who need them, there have been skimmers popping up in self checkout lanes at different stores, and Im not being paid to be a cashier, so why should I have to check myself out?As a past retail employee at a pet store, if we had 3 people waiting in our line, we were required to call for more cashiers. There were a lot of pretty upset people waiting in those lines today, and I was one of them.
Love my Champlin Target! Everything is always clean, well-stocked (with the exception of busy grocery days), and in-line wait times are pretty minimal. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the ease and speed of ordering online for in-store pickup is amazing!!! Highly recommend. Keep up the great work!

Great atmosphere, decent prices and great selection. This store has been undergoing renovations, and boy is it fancy inside now! I enjoy just walking around the store and taking it all in. The food section is great, they typically have just what I need, fresh produce, sauces and non-dairy options.
Fave Target ever, but 95% your cashiers bag so horribly. I go here 2 times a week and I’m lucky if I can get someone who knows how to bag and i even put everything very orderly. Super duper clean store, fantastic customer service, great grocery selection.

This is a good target location but as pointed out it isnt the best yet. Check out can be longer than other locations, but it doesnt appear to be for a lack of staff, it just seems like a lack of dedicated front end staff. It is not uncommon for there to be 1 or 2 people cashiering and both the self check outs are closed. (I only use those if I have a couple items) Staff told me they have to close it if someone cant supervise it for theft reasons, which is understandable but at the hourly wage they get paid Id think this location could afford another front end person to make self checkout is always open so smaller orders can go through faster.Not a huge deal for me but the grumbling in line relates largely to it.Now normally the staff is super helpful and they have different things than the other Target I go to. The only down side is it seems a little less organized on the layout, this isnt the staffs fault this seems like a corporate logistical issue.Out of all the Targets Ive been to this one has had the most issues with their cartwheels. Their guest services is really nice but Im not sure if it is their computers there or what but I pretty much expect if I have a cartwheel that I might have to go to guest services now.Anyway, staff is really nice and it isnt as crowded as the Maple Grove location. It really feels like a little more cashier staff and some logistical or computer upgrades for this location would help a lot.
Visited the store on 5/21/21@ noon. Only one cashier was open. Manager was not paying attention to long line formed at the only open cashier. It was only after I called on her that another cashier was called.
I dont post a bad review until I have had multiple bad experiences. I love Target but this Target seems to have some issues with their staff. Today when I went in there was not a single register open, I needed to actually be rang up and could not use self check out. There were multiple employees standing around with their coffee just staring at sections/displays but apparently they were all above ringing because when I asked for a register she had to go find someone who then had to find someone else to ring myself and the multiple other people who were wandering looking for a register that was open. I have also had an issue with a very rude manager when I questioned a price (that had rang up wrong). Today turned me off of one of my favorite stores!

Another disappointment. Visited twice to buy a new smartphone. It was 8:30am but the electronics department is not staffed with sales people until 10 am. After being informed of that I left and came back the next day at 10 am. No sales people. I waited for 30 minutes and nobody knew where the sales person was that was supposed to be there, and worse yet, nobody cared. I reported my issue to a young employee at the front lane and she didnt care either. My last trip. i hate this store.
It seems that the staff here is not quite as good as it used to be when the store first opened. Ive seen young millennial-aged employees bunched together and chatting and laughing, and then when I come up to them to get help, they ignore me until I ask for help. Then they both look at me as if Im the one who was rude and interrupted their little laugh fest. And then the help they gave me was Oh, thats over in housewares somewhere, I think. You think? How about walking over there to make sure I find it. Doing that will ensure the high likelihood of a transaction.
I want to give 5 stars because I know some of the staff that works at this location, and the customer service is always pretty great here. Always smiling faces and plentiful workers to help me find things Ive needed, especially during the remodel. I really like the new layout but I have a HUGE dislike of the way the womens clothing department is set up. I wander around completely confused and annoyed as there doesnt seem to be any pattern of which things are placed. Its a chaotic mess! Reminds me of my room when I was a teenager. No order whatsoever. I seriously hate it. I rarely ever write reviews but I couldnt help myself this time. It was painful shopping there today. I walked around the clothing department for at least 1 hour and ended up leaving with nothing but coffee from the grocery area because I couldnt find anything I was looking for. I doubt Ill be able to shop at target anymore for clothes. I used to exclusively shop there for specific things and I have looked at least 3 times and havent found them...let alone been able to find where they keep say, dresses...or leggings. Everything is mixed up and even sometimes hidden. Repeats of styles are everywhere throughout the department but just different brands. Hardly any variety. Anyway this is not Champlin Targets fault, but I cant give 5 stars. Someone please tell corporate to find a new, CLEAR layout. The new one is absolute garbage. I cant stress that enough. One more thing...the clearance section for the womens clothing is so small and tight, I could barely fit my cart through the aisles...that sucked and didnt improve my opinion.Anyway,Thank you to the staff for being fantastic overall. Still love them and appreciate their hard work and dedication to the community.

I mostly like this store. Its always clean, and its really easy to find what youre looking for. Some of the bad points: not enough motorized carts for the people who need them, groceries very overpriced, a lot of price differences between the store and whats online. The times that the latter situation happened we got it corrected to the right price at the checkout, but I have a funny feeling some of that may have had to do with the employee discount linked to our Wallet account so they know they are dealing with a fellow employee. Overall I do like shopping at the store, love being able to pick up an order within an hour or two of it being placed, and the employees have been very friendly. I just dont come here for groceries, lol!

Very new, clean and organized
So I actually love this target. The employees are super helpful and friendly, and things are generally well stocked.However, I do not understand why employees on their cigarette breaks are sitting in the front of the building- where they are completely visible to everyone walking in. It just doesnt look the greatest, and I cant count the amount of times Ive crossed the parking lot/street to avoid walking through clouds of smoke... especially with my five year old.Please consider having cigarette breaks in the back of the building!!!
The selection of items Target now carries has shrunk too much. Also the place looks like a warehouse. I expected the remodel to make it feel more luxurious. Instead I feel like I am at WalMart or a warehouse store.
I went into this location to purchase cosmetics and cleaning supplies, I went to the register to pay for my purchase, I paid for everything, and after the transaction the associate gave me a $5.00 promo gift card to spend on my next visit. I thought to myself, that’s a great way to get customers to come back and save some money. Here’s where I am beyond irritated, after reviewing the receipt as I always do when I get a chance, I noticed that they charged me $5.00 for the promo gift card! I call customer service over $5.00 only because this is a horrible ethics practice by a company! The online customer service centers only solution was to send me another $5.00 gift card instead of refunding the money! I declined, keep the $5.00! I’ll take my business elsewhere!Sincerely,A never returning customer!!

Ease of online order and pick-up
Although the store has not completed its updates, the employees were friendly and helpful. I especially liked the young gentleman Calvin who was my cashier. He was not only friendly, but had a nice and welcoming personality. I hope to run into him again in the future.
Horrible online ordering. Misrepresent items that allow you to order, but are out of stock. Get a email notification saying your item is delivered on day, the following day get another email saying your item has been canceled due to the address. Yet its the same address you verified with the customer service rep. You call and speak with a Manager who tells you in reality the item is out of stock! Honesty of the product availability is crucial. Ordered a bassinet for my granddaughter twice! Got bogus emails about incorrect address, only to be told by a Manager that the item is out of stock! OFFERED NOTHING TO HELP OUT! I will NEVER SHOP THERE AGAIN! WARNING TO ALL: MISREPRESENTATION OF PRODUCT AND BOGUS EMAILS! STAY AWAY!
