I walked in on a Saturday morning and Tim diagnosed and repaired my alternator while I waited. Hes old school, fast, and efficient. Hes just a great guy to talk with as well. If you need an alternator or starter repaired or built from scratch I highly recommend him. He even showed me the vendors that he gets his parts from. He uses only quality parts.

The alternators that tim rebuilds for us have factory parts and in my opinion, they outlast every aftermarket alternator sold over the counter at a better price. Id use his services over a new part any day. Nothing but dozens upon dozens of solid rebuilds/repairs from him in the last couple years.

Extremely knowledgable guy, highly recommended. Took my OEM alternator to get tested at 3 separate big box auto shops and they had no idea how to test it properly. Within 5 minutes of coming in to Chandler Alternator, he verified that it was indeed bad. Had it completely rebuilt in less than 24 hours, its the best it has ever been, and was about $100 less than buying a new, aftermarket, alternator. Excellent service!

Phenomenal! Its like this guy knows everything about alternators and starters! I described the issue I was having, handed him my alternator, I talked as he removed a cover, and literally two minutes later he was testing it out! I wish Id known about this place decades ago!

I had an RV alternator that didnt seem to work. I took it to Tim cozy shop as it was on my way home from work. He measured it to verify that it was dead while I was there. When I came back later the same day to pick up the alternator, Tim had not only rebuilt it, but also repainted the housing to make it look new again! Amazing service, lots of experience, great price. Would recommend to anyone.

I have had the pleasure of working with Chandler Alternator and Starter for quite a few years now and would give them very high marks. I have brought them a couple of odd-ball parts (one was a starter from a 2003 Saab 9-5 Aero and the other was a starter from a BMW motorcycle) and both jobs were turned around very quickly.. the parts are cleaned and sandblasted and painted and only top-quality parts are re-installed.The price is extremely fair and the work is amazing. It is great to see someone take such great pride in their work and this is one of those places.. it is truly a dying art.

On the reccomendation of a trusted friend I had my alternator rebuilt and it seemed perfect, looked great and worked well however I ran into an issue a few days later. Without hesitation they asked me to bring it back in to be looked at no charge. They stood by their work and even though everything checked out good on their bench testers they gave me a different unit to remedy my issue and apologized sincerely for me having to remove the old unit again.I understand things happen and this very possibly didnt even pertain to a component they replaced but instead of giving me the run around or making excuses they handled the concern professionally.On a side note, my pregnant fiancee had to drop off the alternator to be serviced and the gentleman in the front jumped out of his chair to help her carry the part in. What a class act.This place rules!

If you need a $40 internal voltage regulator he wont charge you $329 for a imported piece of crap rebuild like the chain auto parts stores. He has rebuilt a number of items for me from race car alternators, to boat starters to the alternator for my wifes Yukon. ALL have performed flawlessly at a fraction of the cost of of replacment with some inferior imported CAP.

Wow, the first review seemed very self centered and I wanted to correct that impression. I am not an expert on alternators but wanted to find a person who was and solve my problem.I visited the shop on a busy morning as a drop in.
