First timer here, and all I got to say is this is the spot to come to get set up. Everyone is extremely knowledgeable and whiling to share it. It seemed they cared about how I was treated and made sure my set up was correct, than just trying to sell me. Isiah(I apologize if misspelled his name) demonstrated perfect customer service and knowledge of his field. He NEEDS a RAISE. Honestly everyone in there was a pleasure to work with. I can’t wait to come back!

Travis and the crew at archery headquarters are always looking to make sure you get the most out of your bow. I have purchased a number of bows there for myself and family. I have done team builders at their range for work. Always a good time!

Stumbled upon this excellent place while having lunch next door (also excellent).Very nicely setup store with very friendly people. Archery range next door was beautiful. It’d be a great place to have a party whether you’re archers or not.The 24 hour member access to the range is a sweet deal. Hunters get up at zero dark thirty to go hunting, so why not practice at zero dark thirty?

I have held off on reviewing this shop for sometime.Today was the tipping point. Unfortunately I have to tell it how it is. I ordered a sight ring about 8 months ago from them, it never came in. I also was never issued a refund or asked if I wanted one. But Randy, Travis and the other techs that float in and out of that shop make sure to hype up overpriced nonsense any chance they get. I have no intentions on spending anymore of my money here. Its really not cool how downhill this shops gone. I am just telling it how it is.

Out of all of the archery pro shops in the greater Phoenix area, this one is by far the best. They carry all of the best gear and are extremely knowledgeable and just flat out good folks. Their prices are comparable with all online outlets and they wont upsell you on some BS you dont need. Expert tech service and always willing to squeeze you in.Real straight shooters.If I could give 6 stars, they would easy get it. Dont waste your time or money going anywhere else. This is the shop youve been looking for.

This is a great shop. Good dudes with a grip of knowledge to share and direct your interest. I was introduced to a couple upgrades that I bought just for fun because sales made it sound entertaining. Great selection, plenty of gear, decent prices.Indoor range was great too. I experienced a lonely technical Tommy so prepare for some tips from a regular. My form isnt that bad... Otherwise very nice heavy and mobile backstops. Great place.

The best archery shop in town hands down. I was nervous about my first purchase on a bow. Travis and Isaiah took me under their wings and completely schooled me. My family did an intro class it was ok. The instructor was a bit condescending and seemed more interested in upselling us to do more classes. We had an extra family member that we paid for who got sick the day of and they refused to give us our money back or offer another solution. I could care less about a cancellation policy, as if I knew he was going to get sick the day of, I hate places with poor customer service you’d rather loose hundreds over $40. I’d rather dispute the charge and spend my money at a place that knows how to do business.

This is a favorite spot for my wife and I. The staff alone deserves 5 stars, they take the time from trying to sell bows to come back and help with any questions you have, even with your technique. You can tell its not just a job for these guys, you can tell its their passion. As for the shooting range, I would give it 3 stars. On my because it has yet to give my arrows back.

I recently got back into archery after a long absence from the sport. Two of my friends bought bows here and recommended them. I was not disappointed. I left with an awesome Mathews VXR and all the full set up to go with it. Turned out to be a double edge sword for me because I was back in a week later buying my wife her new PSE bow. We got a membership to their 24 hour range which is a damn lifesaver in the AZ summer heat when you want to practice. Everybody there is knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. Dont go to a big box store with a counter attendant. Go see the pros who do this all day every day and hunt their days off.

Great place. I have been coming down here from Montana and thought I would bring my bow down on a whim. Wish I had done it from the beginning. Archery headquarters is a great place to shoot. Their range goes out to 30 yards. Very clean. Staff extremely helpful and friendly.

I am two months deep into the archery hobby. Travis went out of his way to make me feel comfortable, and find the proper bow for me. You can really tell he loved his job and what he does.Today I stopped by to get new vanes and wraps on my arrows.They helped me out quickly are easily. We found Archery Headquarters while looking for an indoor place my son could go during summer temperatures. He liked it so much he wanted to stay year round. It is a fun and accepting group of people of all ages. Even in a group lesson the instructors are great with ensuring each student is taught what they need to progress in their skills as an archer.

This place is so cool! The instructor we had was great! She had great explanations for all the things she had is do making it a really good introduction. They offer a variety of instruction for all learning levels and have a shooting range for just shooting. Great group activity for small parties.

Not very helpful and seem more interested in helping pros. Save time and money and go to bass pro or cabellas if getting started.

My gosh! I am so elated to log onto this and see that Archery Headquarters is still alive and kicking. This is a great place to learn how to shoot your bow and arrow. The instructors at this venue are very interesting and dedicated folks.

First of all just wanna say sense the first day I walked into this store I have always felt invited and part of the archery headquarters family. These guys are a great bunch and are very very informative and professional when it comes to everything archery related, whether your a hunter or just some one who likes shooting bow this is the go to place to be!!

I am a DIY person at heart; I do most everything myself. But not when it comes to Bow tuning or new archery equipment. I bring all my equipment and questions in to Archery Headquarters. These guys dont charge much to get you fixed up right and stand behind their work until you are happy. The range is really convenient and there is everyone from beginners to experts, men and women in there and everyone is treated the same. Great shop. Highly recommend!!

First time in this store, drove from queen creek to have a rest i bought installed. Great experience, they fit me right in answered my questions. I also upgraded to some different arrows and they were great about talking me through the different ones. I would recommend this place to anyone. Definitely a fan.

I arrived right as they opened and naturally had the technician in the pro shop waiting on me. I dropped my bow off for a full tune up and make sure everything was in good condition. Very fast, professional and even showed me a new bow Im interested in. It filled up quick with customers but he still made sure I was taken care of. I know where Ill purchase my next bow!

Went here after hearing a few recommendations. The staff was nice, greeted us, and they spent quite a while speaking with me about several different bows and classes. It was better atmosphere that other places I have visited. Prices seem to be average and its a been of a drive, however if the customer service stays great its worth it. I Plan on returning soon to make my bow purchases and to enroll my daughter in classes.

Just got my bow string replaced. Great experience with staff that knows what they are doing. Helped me through getting my bow sighted in afterwards.

I just started shooting archery and these guys were recommend by a friend. I purchased a used bow last week and brought it in to have them check it over and tune it up. They were busy but took their time getting it tuned. They adjusted the draw length, changed out the cam modules, fixed an issue with one of the cams that was leaning, adjusted the peep sight, and shot it through paper to make sure it was shooting straight. After all that I asked them how much ... and they said $15. So I decided to buy some arrows. They helped me choose arrows that worked well with my setup and fit my budget. They cut them to length, etc. I’m very impressed. I’ll be using them again for sure. These guys are top notch.

Great lesson, knowledge and patient staff

Bought a bow for my teenage son. Picked it out and left while it was set up. My son commented on how nice the staff was. We returned an hour later to pick up the bow. Completely different experience. It’s like they couldn’t get us out of there fast enough. Zero support after the sale. The bow wasn’t even set up correctly. I had to return and ask what poundage was set at. They didn’t even check. No help sighting it in. After we sighted the bow we left. I didn’t say anything but my son commented how the staff seemed rushed didn’t care about us. Even a 16yo noticed the poor customer service. Perhaps if you’re spending 2k on a bow package they treat you right.Small local shop with less than big box store service. Disappointed.

I shoot a horse bow, and these guys help me get the appropriate spined arrows which I was able to test out right away in their indoor archery range. The range is great for those extremely hot Arizona summer days. They also have a 24/7 range.

Went to beginner lessons here for 6 weeks. Grant is an excellent instructor. I now have a new hobby that I love, and I still drive out to this store to get supplies. Would recommend for anyone.

Picked up a bow for the 1st time 6 months ago for an archery bull hunt needed a kisser button and new peep sight.a buddy recommended Chandler arch shop the technician was very friendly and eager to help. I asked one of their pro staff members I cant recall his name but he was an older tall gentleman what broad head he would recommend he said up to 3yrs ago i would be the 1st to tell you only fixed blades on bull elk but insisted on the Grimm reaper pro series mechanical from his own experience,my buds said hes just a sales rep for them but he seemed sincere to me and Sunday morning I put that broad head through both sets of ribs on a mature bull elk he collapsed less then 100yrds...THANK YOU CHANDLER ARCHERY PRO SHOP

Fun little place! Had a blast in a group archery class w/ friends. A little pricey for what it is but nonetheless fun. If you want to try something new - definitely check this place out and fire up a few arrows.

I dont even know where to start. When I arrived, there was 1 employee in the store and no customers. Perfect Time to Shop The man was looking at the laptop and said what you looking for today I told him I was looking around and he replied a scripted line about how he is there to help me and went back to looking at his computer.Over the course of 10 minutes I gave him every opportunity to show me a bow and Not Once did he ever offer to show me a bow or help me with finding the right bow for me. After he was done telling me all about him and interrupting me 3 times with my interests, he went back to stocking the shelf while I was talking for the 4th time and I left.I then Traveled to Glendale/Phoenix to Corner Archery and Rhonda was able to get me into a Bow in Less than an hour. She was super Helpful and all the staff was willing to answer all of my questions.$2,600.00 later I was set up for this weekends 3D shoot. Thank you Rhonda (Corner Archery) and Too Bad for Archery Headquarters. Hey Archery Headquarters, You never know who is going to walk into your store. This was my first ever experience with shooting and arrow with a bow. The instructor was very good; she gave clear, easy to understand and follow directions. And she was super supportive to those who needed a little extra. She made sure every participant had a great experience!

I really enjoy this place. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly and they checked out my equipment for me since I havent used it in a while. I went in today to pickup a finger tab and they let me try one out before buying. The prices are reasonable and the store is well stocked. I will definitely be going back to use their range later.

This place is the only spot I go to for my archery needs. Every single person there is so down to earth and knows everything when it comes to bows and hunting. Plus Ive never been to a shop that remembers you and the previous issues youve had like archery headquarters. Junior helped me and my buddy out today and got us taken care of. If you want a shop that gives you a family feel and knows their stuff Id strongly recommend this shop.

I went to store to buy new bow for up coming elk hunt. staff was very helpful. they were very busy but answered all my questions (and I had A lot ) after I got my new bow they spent along time with me shooting on the 30 yard range. They seemed to really care if I was happy with my new bow. They even asked me to come back and tell them about my elk hunt and send pictures. While I was there they introduced me to other customers at the counter to talk with while I waited. really made me feel like I was welcome and appreciated. Great place to shop.

I love this archery range, it has a shop, so you can buy anything you need from equipment for beginners all the way up to professional customizations for your bows, both re-curve and compound. They also have lanes that you can rent by the hour, so you can come in and practice without having to be outside in the heat. The best part though, is the classroom they have, everyone from beginner to advanced that need one-on-one help can find a class that fits for them here. Ive taken the Intro to Archery here, and also done the beginners tournament, both were excellent fun and helped me level up my skills!

I signed up for one of the archery classes here that ran for six weeks but ended up missing the second and third class due to a family emergency.Since I already missed a third of the class and hadnt been able to practice for three weeks I figured it would be best to just sign up for the class again the next time they offered it but they were unwilling to give me a prorated refund or even apply the amount I paid for classes I didnt take towards the next session.Apparently, keeping my $120 was more important then working with a repeat customer who wanted to give them more money.

Im not a big fan of writing these things. When I go out to eat or shop I EXPECT GOOD SERVICE for my hard earned money. But I felt this incident was worthy. One night last week I needed to pick up a part for my buddy for his Bow. I shop up here in North Phoenix so it only makes sense to have my Bow worked on up here. Being as I was going to be in Chandler I made the trip for him when I finished my business....WOW is all I can say... spoke with a dude named Junior who was beyond helpful. I use a local reputable shop but this place was in another league in terms of service and selection. He went over all my options, and actually sold me an item that was cheaper and better suited for what my buddy needed. If all the help is like this guy, I will start to plan my trips and start using Archery Headquarters.

Bought 2 bows from them, they measured my wifes draw length at 27 and they set it to 29.5. I bought my bow from them and bright in my own arrow rest and they had a hard time getting it set in 4 hours! And when they finally called me and said it was ready, I got the bow home and they didnt even set up center on anything on the bow. I had to take it to another shop and pay money for someone who actually knows about bows to set up my bow. The customer service Ive experienced with archery head quarters was horrible. My only recommendation is to buy stuff because they are cheaper, but take it to a actual professional.

I have been going to Archery Headquarters for many years. The staff is always polite and very knowledgeable. Just purchased new equipment for my son and they have been very helpful ensuring the bow is setup correctly. The range and JOAD Classes offered are excellent. I couldnt recommend a better facility or better staff !

Archery HQ is an all around great place. The staff are attentive and give great advice, even to recurve non-hunters like myself. The range time prices are reasonable and the archery classes are fabulous. I go twice a week and they are very helpful with shooting and just improving in general. The facility is nice as well.

It was pretty fun, though you dont get a lot of freedom to shoot arrows. You have to shoot at the same time as everyone else. Lots of waiting and standing. The equipment is a little banged up and cheap. But shooting the arrows was exciting and I would do it again.

I took my bow in to have the strings changed on it. I picked up my bow when they were finished and took it out to shoot it. After shooting less than 12 arrows the cam blew up on me. I immediately took the bow back a few hours after initially picking it up. Guys told me it wasnt gonna be covered under warranty and I was on my own. They said it was a coincidence and blamed it on an arrow failure. Pretty suspicious failure first time back out and less than an hour after picking it up.They quoted me full retail to replace my cam, not even a break on price to help me out. I stated my displeasure and let them know if I was gonna pay full retail I would take it somewhere else. They said ok do what you have to do. Obviously a $40 part to them isnt worth keeping a customer happy and coming back.Not the kind of place I want to do my business with!!!

Not what it used to be. Staff doesnt seem to know the products. I went in to buy a high end target bow and all they wanted to sell me was a decent hunting bow. A nearby competitor got my business.

Yeah I go there all the time again, its a crap shoot, good treatment, or better than you attitudes. Yeah they get the job done or get you your stuff, but hey, just because I cant afford a new Mathews doesnt mean I dont appreciate archery as much as you do. The only reason I go there is they are the only shop around me.

My first visit to Archery Headquarters was very pleasurable. We purchased a Groupon. Junior was very knowledgeable and yet he made this very simple for me and my son as I have never been in the store at all and had not yet bought my first bow. I am sure that everyone there is good, but ask for Junior or Danny if you can.

When i first started coming here i had mixed experiences with the staff. Some were good and some not so good. But i looked past it, until the day i met the owner. who wanted to charge me $100 for a basic set up (basic set up posted on the wall is $45 . i feel that this was simply because i did not buy my bow from them (i called AH to have them order this bow for me but was told no) . the other thing if your only spending a small amount of money they will not be to interested in spending any time with you. since this time i have spent 2-3 grand on archery they have seen about $300 of it. and it will remain at that.

Once I mentioned that I was just getting into it, the salesman finished his sentence and went off to talk to his buddies in the back. People always say stay say from Big Box stores and get the service of a local private owned business. That would be great if they cared about their non regular customers.

I was looking to get into archery for hunting, and I had stopped at a place off the 17 and met the opposite of a salesman. He sucked the enthusiasm right out of me.Travis helped me out, with enthusiasm and knowledge. I bought that day. This will be my spot from now on for sure. Can’t say enough good about this place.

I want to enter competitive archery he spent a lot of time giving me information on competitive archery and advised me on different type of equipment and target bows. I love going to this place and take my daughter too so we can learn and practice before we join competitive archery. They have indoor 30 yard range and good training classes. Keep it up guys.

These guys were awesome. I live in Mesa and have an archery elk hunt coming up so I thought Id go to Bear Mountain to buy my bow. When I went there the place was dead and it seemed as if I was a bother to them to be there. So I headed to Archery Headquarters. Immediately they started asking me questions to see what bow would be best for me and my budget. They even took a bow brand new out of the box and set it up for me to shoot. I will definitely be buying all of my archery equipment from them.

My son has been going here for classes, club team for just about a year....began on a GroupOn class and loved it....all the guys in the shop are excellent helping us newbies with equipment and information...a great place for kids/teens to pick up a new sport/hobby. The older, more experienced folks in the shooting range have always been helpful and kind to our 11 year old.....

Took the 101 class, now on 201. Instructors make it fun. They have mannequin zombie targets if you need practice for the apocalypse. Shop set me up with my first recurve and patiently explained how to break down and string up. Only negative I can think of is Saturdays are crazy busy at the shop.
