Ive been going the Chapman Chevrolet for 15+ years, but the service has not been very good the last couple-a-three years. Bought a 2015 Chevy suburban here. It’s a beautiful truck was told in perfect condition inside and out. We’ll interior yes shell yes. Under the hood NO! Only had this truck 5 months. I have had to replace 3 sensor coils, fuel pump, bad battery cable that was causing the truck to shut off while I was DRIVING IT! Also when I told them that all I ever got was it’s some type of security feature 😳 WRONG! Anyways last week my transmission went out. I put 12k down on this truck and have had to put in over 10K in repairs. So be very cautious when buying from here. I’mCurrently Working with a lawyer on my lemon law rights. This is for the service department. Im highly disappointed. I purchased my vehicle from Freeway Chevrolet and have had all service completed at their service department. They ALWAYS try to sell me more service at every oil change. on my last visit, we found one of their tools left in my car by the glove box. I had my daughter return it. Later that day I found a screw on my floor mat. I called, and Michelle didnt seem at all concerned. This time around, my visit was very impersonal. No customer service interaction, just a text message. two items that needed to be replaced were filters. they were going to charge me $50 for an engine air filter and $50 a Cabin air filter. Here is where it all went COMPLETELY WRONG! I purchased these filters on my way home for a total.of $40 bucks.. When I went to remove the engine air filter screws I found 2 of the completely stripped. Freeway is the only service department or person to do anything under my hood. They stripped these screws and said nothing!!! Didnt even fix what they messed up. They also left a pile of bugs in the air filter compartment. I mean they spent the time to remove the filter take pictures of it, but couldnt grab the handfuls of bugs and throw them out? That would have been the honorable thing to do. It would not have cost the mechanic any extra parts or significant time. This was a show room floor vehicle when I bought it! Then I go to change the cabin air filter, and found where that mystery screw went....it went to the cabin air filter door. So if the service department is so careless with simple things like screws and a handful of bugs.....What do they leave out for the big repairs? So very disappointed!

Was looking to sell my truck and saw there ad. Filled out the online form and got a quote for my truck with a range of about $5k. Made an appointment, took the truck in, and was offered $3k lower than the lowest number in the quote. Mind you, the truck is 1 year old and has nothing wrong with it. Selling only because I do not want 2 car payments since I am working from home. When I questioned the email, was told that is an automated response that they cannot control. What A joke. They have lost a customer for life. Go somewhere else to sell your car/truck.

Took my truck in for warranty work. Fuel pump was replaced. Was towed in late Wednesday, and I was able to pickup Friday afternoon. Service advisor was great at keeping me informed and friendly. Staff at pickup were also helpful and friendly. No pressure to purchase additional services. Oh and they washed my very dirty truck too! Couldnt ask for a better experience given the situation.

This place is an absolute joke. Took my truck in to be worked on. Not by choice but because transmission went out and they were the closest place to the interstate. It took 2 weeks for them to even look at it. Was never told what was wrong or what work would be done. Just received a phone call a month after I dropped it off saying it was ready for pickup. Thank god it was under warranty and I didn’t have to pay for anything. Now….. onwards into their customer service department, which is non existent. Nobody there has any communication amongst departments and they will let you sit outside for 30 minutes waiting for someone to pull your car around. Avoid this place at all cost. Drive the extra 30 minutes to Van Chevrolet.

Returned home and found the need of a little repair. Gave them a call. Returned and discussed issue with Service. Again professional. Car repaired without hassel. Never again will I ever visit or work with this dealership. I was initially interested in a vehicle, I asked the sales person if there was any damage or non-stock parts on the vehicle. I was told no. I started the finance process over the phone as the dealer is an hour away from my home. We go back and forth for two days. I ask them to send me pictures of the vehicle, there were two photos on the listing and the salesperson sent me two blurry photos of the vehicle with minimum effort. I get down to the dealer, and the car had significant paint damage on the bumper and passenger fender. Not to mention some minor cosmetic damage on the bumper. I like my cars pristine, or at very minimum I want to know what I am walking into. I had to pass on the vehicle. This place wasted two days of my time by not being fully transparent with me from the start. Additionally, they approved me at a whopping 20% when other dealers have offered the same deal for less than 10%. These people are time wasters. Two days, and two hours of time I spent working on this one. They arent competitive and I cannot recommend that anyone deal with this company. Everything sounds good and dandy on the phone until you show up.

I have tried financing through these guys and they hit my credit with 14 hard inquiries....I received a legit preapproval through GLS (which actually gave me a decent rate) and they wont honor it, even though on Cargurus they are listed as a GLS affiliate. I reached out to GLS and they informed me the offer was indeed legit as an alternative to other financing institutions.I guess Freeway simply doesnt want to sell me a car I qualified for or is too lazy to do the leg work to finalize the GLS offer, yet wont hesitate to charge me dealer fees....Update: I got preapproved with a set down payment and apr from an outside finance company. Gave them my certificate and they ran ANOTHER hard inquiry. Afterwards, they told me I was approved, then raised my down payment, and increased my apr above that which I was originally offered by MY finance company....this place makes no sense and its actions are increasingly shady...

FREEWAY CHEVROLET....Disappointing, unprofessional and poor customer service, I was treated like if I was there asking for free service. Not even “The service manager” named R. Young knew how to apologize for making me drive all the way to Chandler from Avondale be told “WE ARE TOO BUSY TODAY, COME BACK TOMORROW” even though I make an appointment two days before.It is sad to see CHEVROLET being represented by these kind of people.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I made an appointment, went in, they INSISTED I test drive even though I wanted to buy sight unseen. I had keys in hand, ready to buy, someone walks in AFTER ME, after the test drive they insisted on, and they sell the truck from under me!! I wasnt in negotiations, I was BUYING THE VEHICLE and they sold it to someone else while Im sitting there. I hope this place goes out of business. Dont buy from this dealership. Everyone should look elsewhere. The manager is a joke. All I got was a sorry.

Traded in my 2019 Bolt EV for a new 2021 Bolt EV. I wasnt going to buy that day since I didnt yet have money transferred from my funds to my checking account. The salesman stated a GM Finance loan that day would allow me to take home the car. And if I pay it off in 45 days there will be no interest charge. Well that was not true as when I went to pay off the loan within 45 days GM charged me $70 of interest. Second problem was I told the dealer I wanted to keep my Veterans license plate. Well that didnt happen as I received new plates in the mail. It cost me $37 to transfer back to my Veterans tag. The experience in buying a new car was less than satisfactory.

Last 2 times, Dennis Renko helped me, he is a great sales man and person..the way he treated me as an individual and not a money pit. He treated me w/professional manners and was kind, sincere and honest about the vehicles. I have to say the negotiation part was fun and irritating. I went back and forth 3 times on each vehicle before I agreed. I think the prices are fair but a dealership should also be willing to negotiate a little. Its sales!! I had an appt early in the morning. After a long period of wait time I checked on my vehicle to see what was the issue. It had not been diagnosed yet. I was pretty upset and went to my service advisor Christian Henninger! He went out of his way to go check on my vehicle and tell the techs to make sure I was next. He apologized over and over again but made it right! It was a pleasure to work him and he made my day by doing that even though I spent a good part of the day at the dealership. Highly recommend Christian to anyone with service issues!

Worked with Craig in the service department. Brought my 2017 Duramax in for what turned out to be a Break Service job. He not only diagnosed and resolved that in a short period of time. There was an outstanding recall to my oil pan heater that he also took care of in addition to the coolant level gauge issue. All total he and the Chevy team were efficient, took care of my truck as carefully as I would and the work was done in a more than timely manner. All in all a great job.

Came to shop for a used truck. We set an appointment and specified a particular truck we wanted to look at. The interior of the truck was dingy and dirty. Youd think theyd at least wipe it down.We ended up leaving because we werent impressed with the truck. The salesman was nice and I really cant say much beyond that since we didnt stay.We ended up at another dealer and found a much better truck. It was clean inside and out and we ended up buying it.UPDATE: My experience with truck shopping wasn’t enough to warn me off returning here. So we just brought our truck in for service here yesterday. It had a bad USB port in the dash (covered under warranty, yay) a missing antenna, and did not come with a spare key.They handled all that and were also able to reprogram the RKE fob from our 2018 truck that was totaled in an accident. That saved us $80.Our service manager Craig did a great job and I will definitely be back here for all our scheduled maintenance. And I ordered some premium floor mats that will be in in a couple days.So, for sales I gave them 3 stars, but I’m updating them to 5 stars for Service.

The initial offer was 3K over marked sticker price and we had to point it out. We were offered well under trade in value for our trade (disappointing) but expected a degree of negotiating. We were Repeatedly specific and clear to not have our credit run as we were looking among 3 dealers. There could not have been confusion as we used phrases “no consent” “ do not run” “you do not have permission” repeatedly. Sales tactics to withhold keys on trade in personal car were not appreciated. High pressure with repeated what can we do to make the sale today even with clear disclosure regarding exploring other markets. Double check ‘sales taxes’ on any trade ins as well. Finance rep was only amiable to extend out length of loan with no consideration to any other discounts. Ultimately we found a better deal at a different dealership and are happy. Disappointing to have to go through the experience. Will never consider business at this company and certainly communicate concerns to friends and family in the market for new or pre-owned vehicles.

Best dealership I’ve ever dealt with. Awesome customer service. We had been to several places in the area that day and were disappointed in the customer service at some of the dealerships. Made an unplanned stop here and it was the best decision we could’ve made.

I recommend Sam and Devin. They are great to work with. They took me into the right path and explained everything I needed to know regarding buying a new car.The reason Im giving four stars is because it was a struggle for a while, untill I met them!

Great experience buying a new vehicle. None of that fast-talking “sales guy” lingo or pressure. It’s hard enough being a woman in the car world of either purchase or service - because you feel like NO ONE will treat you fairly or honestly. I feel Cort did a great job of treating me like any other sale - with respect and courtesy. And shank the tank was a wonderful finance guy. He too was respectful and courteous and explained things in a very simple way - which was awesome. Also- no pressure from him. I highly recommend these 2 guys and freeway Chevy in general.

Service department is poor overall. I will not take any of my vehicles ever again. Poor quality of work, poor communication and waste of time.

I purchased a non Chevy vehicle from Freeway Chevrolet. I still bring it to them for regular servicing because they are friendly, efficient, and do great work at a competitive price.

Dealership was a disappointment. Website says can purchase from home awesome cool just what my familys looking for. Spoke with Logan and let him know exact vehicle I was interested in, stock number and all. The process took a whole week. During this time the dealership ran credit kept going back and forth making it seem it was regarding the vehicle I was interested in. After going back and forth with them again they end up trying to sell me a different vehicle instead of the one I was interested in which took another week. Finally was able to get the vehicle I wanted and we set up a date to have the vehicle delivered to me like website says. All that was left to do was sign the paper work at delivery. The day comes which is today and no phone call, gave them a call, they said theyll call back, getting later and still no phone call, called them for them to tell me the management sold the vehicle! What a waste of time. For them to go back and forth, running my credit approving me then to say oh it was for a different vehicle and then to approve me for the right vehicle and then for them to be a no show no call. Horrible experience!

2nd time here after receiving a letter from Chevrolet advising me to schedule an airbag recall replacement. I scheduled an appt, arrived, and was advised that they dont have the part. The scheduler should have been informed that they dont have the part even though she was offsite. I was also told by an advisor that the general manager Lonny Ulibarri would call me. I havent received a call. This was a total lack of communication and after 13 years and two vehicles purchased from Freeway Chevrolet I expected better service than what I received.UPDATE: Updated to 5 stars from one star. Lonnie the general manager got my vehicle in and out in under 2 hours.
