So helpful and friendly, he has honest prices and being new to Arizona it was great doing business with him. He said it would take 2 hours for a subwoofer install he got it done in about half the time! Great experience, will come back!

A family member damaged my stereo and he could have been more aggressive with pricing but he fixed it for virtually free (aside from the part my sister had broken). I recently had the worst car installation experience ever. I dropped off my car to have a new head unit installed and have subwoofers wired up. I received a call a few hours later and was told my car no longer starts and that I need to get it towed from the shop immediately. When I arrived I found out that the owner had arched my battery. I had to fix this because he did not know how to. Once I left my speakers and sound system stopped working because it was not wired up correctly. If you value your car, time, or money run away from this shop as fast as you can. The owner will ruin your vehicle take my word for it!

These guys work for their money. Straight, simple and good, quality work. Absolutely loved it here he was so helpful I was gonna get door speakers and a deck put in he told me try my speakers out with the deck to see how it sounds and he was right sounded amazing and didnt need the speakers any other place would have replaced them and charged me no questions asked. Hey, name another shop that will sell you less than what you asked for! Seriously!I took my 30 year old Mercedes in for a new deck and what I thought were blown speakers. They said they could do it right away so I told them to put the stuff in and I walked downtown and got coffee.. Got a call and they said the deck was in and the speakers were fine. Who does that anymore?I m happy with their product, installation and service. And Im a 65 year old white guy that doesnt know jack about car audio.. They could have ripped me off if they wanted to.Good people!

Great service I purchased my in dash Pioneer DVD online and have it install on my Toyota With the back up camera.I thought that was an easy installation but when I am waiting for the unit being put in and saw how much work that going in . I have more appreciated how hard work and realizing the care and precision detail going to my car to make everything work.My unit was prefect installed.they spent 20 min after finish and help me pair my phone and explain everything about the unit.The staff was great the place just more like laying back the service was professional

These guys are fantastic and if you dont go there for your audio needs youre stupid. Professional, fast, clean, I cant say enough to describe how awesome of an experience it was having my car worked on there. I needed sat radio installed and had all the OEM parts and they did it quickly and more than $200 less than the dealer quoted me at. Anything I need car audio wise in the future is going to be from here and I would strongly suggest you do the same.

This place is the real deal. Old school and customer minded. Tang and his team know what theyre doing. I took a used car I had just bought to them, and it had a stereo, but was missing the faceplate. They helped me pop out the deck and check out the model number so I could find a matching one online for pretty cheap. They did this for FREE, and saved me well over $100+. Who does that these days? So while I didnt buy from them today, next time I need any car audio gear, they will be my first and only stop.

The first Pioneer I bought here was the AVH-210EX. After getting comfortable operating it I realized I wanted more than bluetooth. I needed Apple Car Play and all the goodies associated with it. Navigation, podcast, waze, etc. Tang was decent enough to let me trade in the 210EX and upgrade to a AVH-2500NEX at a very reasonable price. Fantastic setup. Now I can plug in my iPhone and toss it in the glove compartment and use all the functions hands free through the Pioneer radio. And I dont need to block off an A/C vent on the dash with my iPhone like I had to do with the bluetooth on the 210EX.

I had a DVD player installed in my mini van over a year ago. The sound stopped working and I called to see if they could talk me through the repair. After a little while he told me to bring it in and he would take a look at it. He realized it couldnt be easily fixed so he installed a brand new one, no charge for labor, or equipment!!!!! What big box store would have done that, more than a year later?….NONE of them!!! I moved to Tucson, but will make the hour and a half drive to Direct Car Audio for all my audio needs, amazing customer service is well worth the drive!

Wanted to talk to someone about getting new speakers, but they decided to close an hour and a half early while leaving the open sign on right next to the door.

Literally the most legit stereo installation place I have ever been too they installed my moms stereo cuz I dont do business withfamily but tang and his staff straight know exactly what theyre doing and they dont try to sell u unnecessary components. their prices are great also. I got hooked up for two 10 kickers subs in my truck. Its was exactly what he quoted me for and got it done faster than he projected for my truck. Quality work and very professional. It was definetly worth it.

There aren’t many businesses like this one. I went in because my radio was loose. Broc told me my dash mount was broken. Tang, the owner, was honest, and didn’t try to sell me something I didn’t need and agreed with Brocs evaluation. Within minutes, Broc had the new mount installed. When I went to pay, I found the price to be very reasonable. I am so pleased with Direct Car Audio. Honest, caring, and reasonably priced! You can trust that you won’t be taken advantage of here.

I stopped by the store at 8:55 am on Tuesday, November 15, 2016. Their business hour is suppose to open at 9AM according to google map. By the way, they dont have a business hours of operation posted nor do they have a greeting message to leave a voicemail. I waited until 9:30 am and no one shows up. So I went back home. I came back around 10:05 am and it looks like the owner is here. He is actually working on replacing two front speakers for another customer. So he told me to come back at 11am. I come back at 10:55am and he is working on another customer repair/install. He told me to sit and hang tight. By 11:30 am, he was still working on the same customer repair/install. I quietly got in my truck and spun off very pissed off. Terrible customer service.

Awesome service! Very professional! I had a new stereo installed, along with a full audio video package. (Tvs on headrests). Also installed speakers and subwoofers. They finished the work fast and it looks and sounds great! I am very happy about my purchase! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Terrible customer service, cheap knock off systems imitating good brands. Tried contacting the actual brand because i had faulty speakers and got told they were fakes. Manager can only speak broken English with accent so bad hardly understandable. Never again. Reported to BBB. These guys will be under investigation I extremely suggest you use a different audio place. Oh yeah did I mention the manager was calling the cops on a pedestrian for walking their dog in an empty lot next door which looked like the only shade nearby in these extreme heats. Terrible people smh

I had a back up cam device installed on my car and the guy that did it didnt even know that to make the touch screen work properly he had to calibrate it. The camera in the back just was stuck in on the sides and not screwed and fell off the same day. They were rude and made fun of the device I had bought and really made me feel as if I were dumb and didnt know what to purchase they called it cheap product and said they get ppl with cheap bought products all the time and said People dont know what they really need. They really tried to up sale me to their very overpriced radio. I am very disappointed with the lack of quality of work they did. I cant even use my back up camera because the sensor doesnt work and now I have to probably have to repay a real professional to fix the poor job they did. Will definitely never recommend to anyone nor ever go back to them for any future work.

Friendly staff. Helped me with a kicker subwoofer issue. Didnt figure it out but neither could the kicker techs. At least they were helpful and tried to figure it out.

Horrible experience. They wouldnt work on my self provided stereo dvd navigation. Said i could install it myself because it was an easy fix. Called my dash unit (trash) tried to force me to buy a brand new unit from him. Made me wait almost 2 hours just to tell me no. Stay away from this compant . Drive 3 miles down the road to get better and faster service elsewhere. The shop he is running looks like a chop shop / junk yard also. Not a place to bring high quality equipment and or cars/trucks. If there was the option to give 0 stars i would.

Absolute worst experience of my life. It cost me $350 to get my car repaired after these guys messed it up, and another few weeks of listening to the owner argue with my dad. I paid for all the services, but he never looked me in the eye and always asked to speak to my dad. Not my mom, not because Im 20, but because my dad is a man. When he finally wrote the check to pay for the damage done (that I paid for in the first place) he didnt write it out to me either. Im very dissappointed in the way I was treated as a customer, and I highly reccomend ANY other audio shop around.

Hade been going there for years but the last time i went there he did me dirty tryed to up grade my system in my ride didnt get me what i had order and he lyed to me about my speaker box that he said went with my sub woofer it was sum cheap ass subbox and he made his worker rush me out ill never go there again !! But he had no problem taking my money dont go there !!!!

These guys are the best and have been for as long as I can remember. I was originally turned on to them by my father who swore by them. I was immediately impressed by the easy going, no pressure sales. Most places take you too the most expensive product and tell you that you have to have that exact product but these guys never did. He took me to what he thought would work best for what I wanted and it turned out to be extremely reasonable. The install was prestine and looked better than stock (sounded a whole hell of a lot better too). This was 11 years ago on my first vehicle. Since then I have own 5 different vehicles and he has put at least a stereo if not more in everyone of them and as long as hell have me Ill keep coming back. Dont be fooled by the low ballers on Craigslist or wherever. These guys are the best...HANDS DOWN!

I came here to get a deck and brought my own subwoofer/amp combo to be installed. I bought a deck from them that was a fair price, I could have saved about $50 on the internet but thats standard for anything really. The shop is small and the entrance is in the back which felt a little off and the shop was just packed full of so much stereo equipment that there wasnt much room to walk around. The show cars were pretty sweet, one of them had a body kit designed by them out of cardboard haha. The install is pretty damn good, no wires showing or any of that and they did it pretty quick. Everyone there was very friendly and helpful, and the guy at the front desk deterred me from buying an expensive deck that I had in mind and told me why I should downgrade to something with a little less extras for a much better price, saved myself about $200. Thank you! The only problem I had was that the bezel around my deck was hand crafted through them and looks pretty bad. It is more shallow then the temperature controls and you can see part of the inside of the car on the edges, and feels flimsy. They try to get you in as soon as possible. They should have waited a day and ordered an actual bezel to go around the deck that looks better, so I recommend telling them that, or bring your own. I am going to purchase one online ($15 on ebay) and pull it out and install the new one myself. Other than that it was all great. They only charged me $100 for about 4.5 hours of labor and it looks really clean other than the deck itself. After doing many installs and being around stereo installations I was very impressed overall.
