Plenty of parking space, very nice and comfortable environment. This cafe order drive through option. The counter order can be a bit slow as they were attending the drive through order, but it didnt take too long as well. Overall good place to have coffee and chill.

I commented on how cute they were and her hairstyle and we chatted a bit - when my drink was ready she offered me her clip! I had a super rough day at work and it made my day! I love Black Rock Coffee! I get the Caramel Blondie with oat milk extra shot and its perfect! Always tastes smooth and the employees are amazing 🙌🏽 Nick was very helpful and you can tell they love working there. Cant wait to be a franchisee!

Asked if cinnamon roll had raisins cashier said no and it did. Besides that dry no flavor big puff. Glad it was inexpensive.

Huge selection of coffees, everyone at the window is super nice, and the lines may look very long but it moves quickly. The flavored coffee‘s are also authentic tasting and not imitation flavored.

If you like Dutch Bros you’re going to like Black Rock, and if you’re like me, you’re going to like Black Rock slightly more. Never had a bad drink and they have drip coffee too which is what gives them the edge to DB IMO.

The drinks here are amazing. Only giving 2 starts not only for an inconvenience but because they take advantage when you pay with card. I ordered 3 drinks, my total was $15 and some change (they told me at the window), they didnt have lids for whip cream which was fine. I tried paying with a $50 bill and they couldnt break it which was also fine. I ended up paying with card and usually they hand you a tablet asking if you’d like to leave a tip and they didnt offer it to me or ask if i wanted to leave a tip. Later on i checked my bank statement and they added the tip themselves without my permission. Very frustrating that they think they can just add however much they want without asking or getting permission AND without offering a receipt.

Not sure I could recommend this location.Its my first time here & we were extremely disappointed.The staff was courteous BUT they were EXTREMELY DISTRACTED to the point of being incompetent.The lid to 2 of our drinks was not on properly & it spilled & stained our tops.The 3rd drink did not have the flavor we ordered 😒

Love the atmosphere here. Lively music and extra comfortable sofa chairs. The coffee is great, hot or cold. The only thing that prevented me from giving it a 5 star rating is that cuppocino is served in ordinary paper cups. Traditional way of serving in mugs would have allowed the barristers to show off their craft better.

Asked for a cold brew with a little bit of milk. Got a cold brew that basically tasted like watery milk. No actual coffee taste is apparent. Not worth coming.

Only place in town Ive found a coffee with abuelita chocolate.. soooo good. They call it Mexican mocha but that taste took me back to my childhood in Mexico. The energy drinks they have r amazing. I live in Laveen n drive all the way to this place just to get coffee. Great spot n everyone is very friendly and explain the menu well.

Don’t know why this place has a high rating... we order cold brew and breve. Breve is ok but cold brew literally tasted like water....

This is always a good place to go. Family and I loved it went there today to try their $2 fuel drinks and theyre $3 a pop drink. They were both fantastic and the young one tried one of the fuel drinks without the prickly pear and it was very sweet but very very so it was very good. The wife got the Jackhammer and well lets just say shes Jack like a hammer. LOL and the staff always makes it nice as well

Absolutely love this place. All of the employees here are outstanding.When it does get busy, sometimes they can make a couple mistakes(which is completely normal and understanding), but they always try to make up for it the best way possible. Ill still drive the 20 minutes to this location at least twice a week.It does tend to get busy, so please have some patience. The drinks are worth it.

My drive through experience was great - no wait, friendly, fast service. I loved the Mexican Mocha.One thing I did not like was being asked at the window if Id like to leave a gratuity. I felt put on the spot. I would recommend just posting a sign instead of asking each person individually.

Had the most pleasant experience here today. Just hit the drive through and while waiting for my drink she actually asked about my day. Most drive through experiences are hurry hurry hurry.Add to this that my drink was really good.

The staff was really nice, but I was really disappointed with their lack of sugar free flavors. I had seen a review saying they had “lots of sugar free flavors”, but that turned out to be a major overstatement. My wife did get coffee, but they put too much of one flavor and it wasn’t as good as she would have liked. Asked for a warm chocolate and stated it was for the kid, but it was WAY too hot for a child. She had to wait 5 min before she could start to sip on it.If they add more sugar free options, I might be willing to give them a shot. Otherwise, I will just continue my business at the competition.If you don’t have this restriction they have more options.

My husband and I loved the BlackRock coffee. The taste was fantastic and they had some other drinks that are fueled with caffeine as well. BlackRock is like a perfect mix of Starbucks and Dutch Bros. They have a pretty hip atmosphere that resonates with the younger crowd and they are busy! They were fast and on point and the staff was incredibly friendly and personable and it didnt feel forced like you often feel at the Starbucks window. They also have some pretty cool cups and hydro flasks as well as other BR merchandise. Check it out and enjoy!

Absolutely love this place, the only thing that bugs me is when I order two coffees they somehow mix the coffee cups also they don’t always make them extra sweet when I request that. But staff is always very friendly and nice. When they get the coffee right it’s perfect!

Good coffee, good flavored energy drinks. The baristas are nice, and the service is fast. They have a lot of sugar free flavors, which is really great! Its so great to have options for those who cant have sugar or dont like it. There are lots of people who have a sugar free diet and still want flavor in their coffee, but most coffee shops have only a couple of sugar free flavors available. Plus, the sugar free flavors still taste as good as the regular flavors at Black Rock!

I mean the people are awesome, but I love that the drive through is super quick and all of the coffee is soooo tasty and smooth and strong! I will say the Fuel isnt my favorite thing in the world, but Ive never been a big energy drink person. Highly recommend

Ok so this place might of had the worse coffee Ive ever had. It wasnt worth it to get them to remake it. All 4 of our coffees were made incorrectly.

Definitely counts as one if the good coffee places based on past experience. Today we went for smoothies though and really loved the strawberry one.We tried a muffin and a choc chip cookie and both were pretty good as well.

Black Rock has got to be one of the (if not THE) best coffee place in Arizona! The atmosphere is super cool, baristas are extremely friendly, and the coffee is SO GOOD. I like the Irish Creme and Caramel Blondie, either hot or iced. They also have super cute apparel for both men and women. Love it!!!

Saw a lot of reviews and wanted to be here. So went there yesterday and ordered coffee with Irish cream and English toffee flavor. Oh my my it was so good! We have also decided to have chocolate and caramel drizzle on top/ side. The flavor of the coffee was good and the texture was very creamy

This place has the friendliest employees. Customer service is not dead here at this place. I love the fact that they talk to you and ask how your day is going and what are the plan s for the rest of the day. This is awesome! The best thing about this is that this is a younger generation. Thanks very hard to find these days. Keep it up BR you guys are setting the standards and example for up coming businesses.

We like the coffee so much here that we have started buying it by the bag. Good choices for regular and sugar free. Very cool staff, always friendly. Super modern design and good tunes playing when Im there. Love this place.

Very nice people, plenty of parking room, inside is very clean and stylish. The coffee is quite nice, very tasty. The price is very good and they do have a rewards program. A respectable place to get coffee. I hope they expand to the north and west valley so i can give them more business.

Nice enough staff, similar to Dutch Bros. I got the dark roast coffee in the morning and not impressed. I find a lot of these little hipster coffee shops have coffee that only taste good with a ton of sugar added. Ill try the medium roast next time and I will update this review if its any good. All in all, I felt like Black Rock Coffee Bar is trying to launch a super franchise. Inoffensive but not really impressive either.

Great spot to set a mid day in person meeting or just a great spot to work/study from. Great coffee doesn’t hurt either

I was a first timer here and had the pleasure of escorting a very friendly, treat catching regular big dog.Our group had delicious coffee, which I couldnt part with even hours later when it was cold. I wish there was one in Fountain Hills, but the Alma School Black Rock cafe will continue to be my great favorite.

Coffee was good. I was not impressed by the music. Im not sure if the music is the norm or if today at 8am was different but it was definitely music for a much younger crowd than me. Maybe it is great music but not the type that would entice me to hang out. As a reference point I am over 50.

The coffee flavors are good and the atmosphere is fine, but the menu is small and about the same price as a Starbucks. I think the flavor was a little better at the least. they dont have any online menu or anything so you have to go to find the prices. I took pictures of the menu to try and help with this.

Ive been to this location many times. The coffee is better than anything in the area. Up until yesterday, Ive had good experiences. I ordered a plain, iced coffee. They refused to make it. I asked why and they said the ice waters it down (duh) and that it would taste gross so they only serve it hot. I explained that I wanted to start drinking it right away (I had a long drive to work ahead of me) and would appreciate at least a few ice cubes dropped in to cool it down faster. They agreed to do that. Of course, when they handed me my pipping hot coffee there was no ice at all. I agree with most reviews that the baristas smile and ask you about your day, but great customer service is also about accommodating to customers requests. These nothing like shelling out your hard earned money and being refused what you asked for to start the day off on the wrong foot.
