This is a great little neighborhood coffee shop and a huge plus, they open at 5:00 a.m. The patio on the water is an oasis in the desert. The staff is knowledgeable and super friendly. The coffee is good at a fair price. It’s a great place to visit with friends or just relax by yourself and enjoy the view of the lights reflecting on the water.

A coffee shop I would frequent if I lived close by! It had been a while since I was there and the baristas were cheerful, friendly, and polite. They recommended the popular blended Caramel Nut Latte with an extra shot of espresso since I dont like super sweet drinks. I also got cheesecake bites.. suoer tasty! They have a really nice outdoor sitting area next to a pond; I went in the evening during summer with a book and it felt great and relaxing.

There patio is beautiful. My husband and I love sitting out their watching the ducks. They are always willing to customize our drinks. Definitely try them.

The frappes are good most of the time. Sometimes the coffee seems a little off. The service is always great, and this location is awesome, but smokers very often ruin the outdoor seating. I would visit a ton more often if they had cold brew.

Good coffee, but their signature blended ice drink, Frosts, are the best. Their ice doesn’t make those shards like some other places, way better. Highly recommend

Loved this little coffee rush that my sister took me and my daughter too. Such a view!!! Only issue was the extremely musky smell the shop had. My daughter couldnt stand the smell and I had to take her outside. Im not sure if its supposed to smell like that to add to the atmosphere or something. My sister got me a iced black and tan with almond milk and it was better than Starbucks in my opinion! People were definitely friendly and in a sincere way not over friendly like Starbucks can be sometimes.

Met with some friends that needed a relaxing caffeine location away from asu. Very nice patio with the man-made lake just a few feet away. I ordered some baklava to share, one with each type of nuts, and found that both had picked up a taste of being in a refrigerator that had other items inside or that it just needed cleaning. I will give them another chance, but they need to sell all of what is in their display refrigerator and do a through cleaning, along with any other cooler that it could be transmitting the off tasting flavor that I experienced. My friends enjoyed their beverages and we will make another visit to see if things are improved.

Coffee is good, but the baklava is amazing. Baklava and coffee pair so well together.

First time here and we felt so welcomed! Not a big coffee shop person, but we will keep coming back! The barista is so friendly, fast, and personable! I got a sugar-free iced mocha and it was perfect--no chalky chocolate taste like a certain big name chain. This is definitely going to be our new routine!

The Good: Its a great coffee house, friendly staff, great prices.The bad: theyre in constant violation of Arizona Act A.R.S. 36-601.01 (smoking outdoors)--because their patio area is covered. The section entails an outdoor area have no overhead covering (i.e. a covered outdoor area is seen as quasi-indoors).Obviously, because of the pandemic its still preferable to sit outside, which sucks because its chipper heaven out there. Sad, because it really is a great place.

I have been a regular here for years, at least 2-3 times weekly, coming and working and supporting this place. I used to love the atmosphere, the staff and especially the views. In just the last month, I have had 3 direct confrontations with staff, not changing anything I have ever done and spending my money on this place, and I am considering never coming here again. Your customer service needs serious help. And you do not enforce masks, which is incredibly irresponsible. I have always sat in the same booths. Twice now, when there are only 2 or 3 people in the cafe area, I have been told I cannot sit at my booth in the future and it is reserved for only 2 or more people. I think it is a bit much to tell customers who are sitting and working that they cannot sit in that seat, it makes one feel very uncomfortable. I was also outside with a friend the next week and AFTER PURCHASING a drink, was told we had to leave the patio because my friend had her fast food with her. As a regular, you should know this comes across as very rude. It was embarrassing to be told this by your staff after telling my friends what a great place this is, only to be told to leave AFTER I HAVE SPENT MY MONEY HERE. Start treating your customers like customers again.

Been going here so long I cant remember a time that I havent had them their coffee is amazing The environment they said is amazing and if you get there early in the morning and sit off the lake and watch the sunrise its beautiful but dont forget that the coffee here is the best coffee youll ever taste in your life and it actually has caffeine in it and is real coffee unlike a few chain coffee places I know

Its hard not to love Coffee Rush! Locally and family owned, good strong espresso, consistently great drinks, and a patio overlooking the water - whats not to love? The customer service is always fantastic, and the owners are often found behind the counter serving up drinks themselves. They even have a large variety of sugar free syrups and milk alternatives, so its easy to stick to whatever diet plan or lifestyle you follow.

The coffee here tastes fresh and straight from the beans in the store. Good various options for bakery. Nice seats next to the lake, definitely a good place to hangout with friends or even some alone time to relax and enjoy a good book with your favorite latte.

We love coming here for coffee. The staff is super friendly and the coffee is amazing. We also like hanging out by the Lakes on the patio or in the grassy area. We highly recommend this to all our friends when they are in town. We always come here!

Friendly baristas. Delicious pastries such as their baklavas and cheescakes. I get the 20z redeye everytime. The true jewel of this place is there outside patio overlooking a person-mad lake. Patio is smoking but in general large enough to enjoy as well for non-smokers. Great afterwork spot to enjoy the cooler evenings.

I love coffee rush and have been attending regularly for quite some time now. The other night I believe Friday night I was at the chandler location. I was a little surprised by the co-workers. It was 2 men working that night, one had their mask off the whole time I was there. The other consistently had their mask off while talking to people on the patio and at the counter. I love it there I was just taken back by the lack of responsibility by the workers at coffee rush that night.

Nice place but I would avoid until covid is over. The barista was talking about how they partied all weekend while they were touching their mask and didnt sanitize. It was extremely gross and if I get covid in the next few weeks it was probably from this place.

I usually go to the location on gilbert and baseline but decided to try this location out because sitting drinking coffee out by the lake is awesome. So couple things that could use improvement. First, is the amount of patio furniture. Less is more. Especially with the virus they should be spaced out more. The furniture tossed on the side should be hidden away from customers. Second, I can see the staff is trained to work fast. I mean really fast. Only problem with that is it gives off strong presence of pressure to customers. I personally, eventhough; greeted very kindly, felt rushed when there was no one behind me. Its easy to get carried away with the adrenaline of the fast paced work environment. Finding a balance would be nice. Either giving the employees more breaks or having more employees working at a time to run things more efficiently. Just some starting tips because those little changes can cause a chain affect to making more improvements. Third, the bathrooms were a mess and look like they need to be upgraded. Lastly, I want to add in about the quality of the products. There typical. Coffee rush has huge clientele, keeping up with trends is a must. Organic and fresh quality is on trend.

First time here and the chiller is by far the best strawberry mixed drink I have had and way better then the strawberry frappe Starbucks has that tastes watered down unless you ask for extra strawberry flavor . The coffee was awesome too I got hazelnut latte that was way better then I usually get elsewhere

Coffee rush is an absolute gem!! I go to this location if Im in the area but I definitely PREFER the one on Gilbert and Baseline, they make my drink the same every time, but for some odd reason sometimes my drinks from this location dont taste the same sometimes. Idk but I still love this place.

Coffee Rush on Dobson and Ray rd is small but has a great vibe! The staff is super friendly without being fake, and the coffee and teas are great too.

Firstly, the location is just great for this place. Great view of the lake, with a nice little plaza surrounding it. The service is always great! The coffee has always been one of my favorites. This place has a nice set up for quick service and a great patio set up. Overall, this place is my favorite coffee shop with a great view of the lake.

A friend introduced me to this coffee shop and had she not I would have never probably known of its existence. The coffee drinks frozen and hot are fantastic! Most and I mean most like 95% of the staff is super friendly and actually fun to talk to. The atmosphere here is great and the view outside of the lake is beautiful.

#1, it is delicious. #2, Fast. #3, always greeted with smiles & positive attitude. Everything in one, you can select some muffins, protein bars &/or baklava... You can make just about any drink you want, I can be pretty basic w/ just a 32oz Iced or Blended Chai :D Yall are welcome. ONLY downsides, the parking spaces & space inside Coffee Rush! Other than that, it is worth the trip :D

This is a great location. Beautiful little pond right by the patio. The service is fast and the drinks delicious. A good selection of non dairy milks along with the dairy for people who want it. Its a quaint and peaceful place for a relaxing afternoon coffee! Also conveniently located near a sprouts. (See Google maps)

Ive always liked coffee rush. Its a good atmosphere to study, read, or hangout. Theyre drinks are great and a little more reasonable that some other places.Its definitely more of a casual, hangout and chill spot. Not so much a pretentious, wait in long lines, do it for the gram and show off the cup for the rest of the day, kind of place.My only complaint is that, in the summer, they keep the place way too warm. Plenty of ppl dont seem to mind, but it definitely bothers me.

I was refused entry into this establishment because of my service dog whomI can’t see to walk without. I opened the door to go in and the guy literally yelled at me that he couldn’t have a dog in the facility. My dog was wearing his Servais Animal vest and I had his paperwork. Very disappointing and humiliating for me.

This place is great!! As soon as I walked in I greeted. The atmosphere has a homey feel. I went to order my chai tea, which is amazing by the way, the barista was great!! Incredibly friendly. He greeted me with a smile and spoke to me like we are long time friends. As I was waiting I saw another barista picking up the place, wiping tables, organizing the sugars. I am in love with the patio area outside!! It has great views!! I was able to just relax and focus on my homework. They have misters outside and great music playing!! I was happy that I have found this place! Its a great place to study, catch up with friends or just stare at the water and just relax!!

This place is very dear to my heart! The bald guy with the ponytail has been seeing my sister and I pop in for years. No matter how long we go without being in Tempe we always stop in and that guys always remembers us! The employees are so funny and nice and sassy but in a loving playing way. They bring spunk to this place. There are all kinds of options of flavors and drinks. They have sugar free options too! The owner must be Greek because they serve baklava!Their outside seating area is the best part. The ambiance is calming, inviting, so fun! Even in winter, I’ll just bring a couple extra jackets so we can sit outside near the lake. It gets almost muggy inside because they are trying to keep it warm. But you want to sit outside as long as you don’t mind smoking! I have been seeing people come there every night and spend hours for year and years. It’s a great place! Home away from home!

This place is amazing! I went in there this morning for the first time and the place was packed. And it was clear that a lot of people are regulars there because when they went up to order they already knew what the people were going to order. Theyre ridiculously fast in getting your drink to you. And they are the nicest guys! Its such a pleasure to support a local business that has such a positive and happy energy about it and of course great coffee!
