I came here to have some name badges printed for my business and wanted them double sided. Their machine kept jamming up so the employee told me that their machine just cant handle it and that he would have to do 2 separate prints. I told him no thank you and went to Staples where they printed it with no issue. This company needs to invest more money in better equipment that works. That was my first and last time going to an OfficeMax.
The employee Connor was so helpful! I was absolutely amazed by the customer service I received. I could tell Connor was very knowledgeable on all of my request for my canvas print, I will return again and recommend you see Connor to help you out with any printing you need done
This place will be going under soon just like so many others. Im a well dressed man who just left the store with my toddler. There were only two other customers in the store, and the only working employee came all the way across the store to ask what I needed, and when I started to answer he said dont have it. have to order online. By the way, I had already seen what I was looking for on the shelf. He just wanted an empty store. When I made my way to the exit he said thank you, and I said I doubt it. He said thanks for leaving. I still dont know what he was trying to hide in there.
I arrived to Office Max on Chandler Boulvard to print some important documents. When closing time came around, the job was not quite finished, but they stayed back and finished it, instead of leaving me stranded. They were courteous and professional. The two people who helped me were Conor and Dylan. I am grateful to them and recommend this Branch to everyone.
Location and access is great. Store was very quiet at 5pm on a Friday. Looking for specific paper. The selection for office and applying for jobs was good. Good to know some of the specialty office supplies. The shelves were empty in many places. Preparing to stock or is it closing? I dont know. Kind of eerie. No one in site.
This place breaks HIPAA by asking for medical reason you can not wear a mask. They also want to yell out to wear a mask as you walk in to intimidate. So if you have say one lung and can not handle the bacteria that youd be breathing in or have asthma or any other reason your ACTUAL DR has told you to not wear mask dont go here even if you are trying to beat dust storm since your right there anyway.
The service I received at this office max was absolutely incredible! The representative Matt at the copy center gave me the best service! He handled my request very quick and professionally. If I could gave this office max more 10 I would because of Matt’s great service. Thank you Matt!
Horrible customer service. Conner was the guy who checked me out and he was so rude and unwilling to help. I asked him a question about one of his products and he said he doesn’t know and didn’t offer to figure it out or ask another employee.
I see sime really postive comments but I had poor experience. Probably isolated to one person. I was only person in store I asked get plans printed. The gentleman told me they could not print from a link. So I came back with my computer and asked if I could buy a thumb drive to download plans and have printed. He said we close in 45 mintues and your file is 15 pages. Then he said it will have to get picked up they next day. My day starts at 4am and Im just getting off work at 7pm. This guy is so put out about printing 15 pages within the next 45 minutes. I mean why even be open?
Times are hard enough so we Appreciated that these folks aren’t charging people to fax unemployment docs.
VERY VERY POOR customer service by their photo manager, Went in to inquire about photo services and I have never had such rude answers. And the lack of interest of even providing me services. Tried to complain to their STORE manager and he was no help he was just as rude and sarcastic as the youngster. To be honest the main front cashier should be the manager, he was very Respectful and helpful. No wonder we walked into a ghost town in that store. Never again.
I placed an on line order for a office chair and when I was going to the store my order was cancelled. I called and spoke with the manager to find out why and he said it was a floor model purchased at regular price. I asked for a discount he said no but he said I could come to the store to online order another chair and he would ship for free to me. I arrived at the store and he said he could not order the chair and it had been discontinued. This was the manager on the day i ordered the chair. I was just confused as to why he couldn’t see this before having me come to the store. He said he just missed it and offered me $25 off the used floor model regular price. I said no thanks I wanted more off for my time and he said no. I called customer service three separate times and explained the situation with NO assistance. I was even told I would receive a call back it never happened. I would NEVER return and I would NEVER recommend OfficeMax. I never received the chair. I’m sure you will be out of business in less than 5 years filing bankruptcy due to your POOR customer service.
Went on on the 12th looking for a specific toner, Wes was able to not only me find an alternative, since the specific one I was looking for was out of stock in the store, but he also price matched with another store to save me from leaving and driving to a competitor. Excellent customer service and super friendly, GREAT JOB Wes!!

The staff doesnt know what to do unless you need copies, if you need them to increase the size by 400% to get a true size pattern they have to try 2 or 3 times to get to correct. I have asked them to increase pictures of block animals and that too6 tries to get that correct. I guess l will just have to go to the Office max in Awatukee because they can do it the time
I ordered some prints and expected them to be the size I ordered, instead they were larger and I had to cut them down to the actual size. The cut was also not straight itself.
Customer service here from Cami in the print area is great! Another store in chandler messed up my order badly and then offered no solution to the issue. I called this location and got the order transferred. Cami is a much better representative of the company than even the GM of the other store in Chandler!
The manager Connor was the least accommodating person I have ever met in customer service. My fiancé forgot my debit card there and when she went back to pick it up the staff told her they needed my ID. Normally this wouldn’t be a problem but I’m sick and contagious and shouldn’t be in public (which she told them and they didn’t care or even try to meet halfway)It was about 5 minutes until they closed and they told her to come back with me and that they would still be around for another 30 minutes after closing in case she couldn’t make it back in time. So now my sick self has to go out there with her and by the time we get back the doors are locked and I spend the next 15 minutes knocking being ignored by ALL the employees. My fiancé calls the store, Connor picks up and tells her he can’t stop what he’s doing until he’s finished counting money.10 more minutes later Connor walks up to the door (Finally) and I ask him to please get my card because I’m sick and need it tonight, he has the gall to tell me the exact same thing he told my fiancé as a reason to NOT get my card- meaning he did break policy and stopped counting or he hadn’t even started countingKeep in mind I’m sick, standing in the cold for 25 minutes and when I ask him if he’s serious he tells me to come back tomorrow at 8 when they open because “I’m not the one who forgot the card here”. What a heartless jerk! Now I have to wait on office max to open before I can get my medicine and Kleenex. So much for “The customer is always right”, hope this guy gets fired.

Extremely poor service and dismal attitude from the general manager (his name is Jeremy, I believe). As a business owner myself, I was taken aback at how rude and disinterested he was. It was as though I was bothering him...at work. He is an all around miserable human being. The operations manager was pleasant, helpful and terribly apologetic for her gms behavior. Regardless, Office Max you have lost a customer. Vistaprint it is!
This store sucksssss !!!!!!!! I was creating my business cards and once I was done creating it I was getting them printed. Then I ended up getting papers instead. I will never return here. I’m going back to staples👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I went in yesterday to get a price quote on printing a poster 2 by 3 and the lady at the counter said it would be $3.99 and I thought it was reasonable and I put the poster I wanted on my flash drive and went in today and asked if I could have it printed and the guy started the printing then told me it would be $20....... by then I wasnt going to be a jerk and leave but this is totally Deceptive Marketing and Bait and Switch. When I ask what a 2 by 3 poster would be I expect to get a quote on a 2 by 3 poster and not per square foot. I will be taking my future business elsewhere after I return some defective items that I bought on Black Friday.

I live about a mile away. I often shop at the Nordstrom Rack and had shopped at this Office Depot in the past. However, after the FOOLISH decision by corporate to make the company political with their abandonment of the Laura Ingraham show (which I watch nightly), instead of buying my $1,300 laptop from Office Depot, I went down the road and bought it from Best Buy. Best Buy has great prices and very good customer service. I have bought thousands of dollars worth of electronics/office equipment there in the last few years. THEY are not political. Office Depot/Office Max you lost my business FOREVER thanks to your corporate stupidity!
Good selection of tech and office equipment. Often Ive found that when other places dont have it due to it being older tech, office Max will have it.
Store associates act like you owe them something. Waited in line forever and there was nobody in front of me. They referred me to self serve because they didnt want to help me. I will start going back to the local print shops and Staples. Dont shop here....take your business elsewhere.

Not a good experience.. went to have some small booklets printed 2 hours later I walked out without the books... No one could make the printer work.. it was not good at all.
I never write reviews, ever but for this place I had to. As a business owner, the customer service here is atrocious and the stock levels are a joke. I would seriously look into management on this one whether regional or store, theyre not getting the job done. Leadership starts from the top down and if these employees and stock levels are a reflection of leadership, wow. Im personally going to drive to any other office supply store after having the same experience on multiple occasions.
