My introductory appointment went flawlessly. They took me into an office right at my appt time and provided a very thorough walk through of the device I was taking home. I left there feeling confident with the device usage. I highly recommend Progressive Home Medical.
Barbara and Mike are both fantastic! Always answer all my questions! Their service is always as promised...great!
Progressive home medical is still charging customers monthly for cpap machines that have been recalled because they are carcinogenic. We paid $575 for a new machine that was recalled 5 months later. They are still charging monthly $30 for “the 13 month lease” on an unusable machine that causes cancer. They said future billing could be stopped, but we’d have to send in the machine. But since the manufacturer is “handling” the recall we have to send it in to them instead. Meanwhile we had to pay out of pocket to get a non cancer causing machine from another company. Progressive home health doesn’t care. As long as they get to soak the insurance. When I complained we’ve already paid several hundred dollars for the machine Barbara said “oh really?” Condescendingly. I asked if she wanted to see my credit card statement and she said yeah. When I called back and informed her that I paid $575 on 12/29/20 she said she didn’t want to actually see it. When I told her I realize it’s not her fault personally, but I am justifiably upset at being billed she told me she feels like I’m being rude. I wasn’t. I was just telling her facts, never at any point was I rude or personally condescending.I got a call back from Kirit who said I shouldn’t have been charged because my insurance over paid by $88. But that I could expect to be billed $33 every month until January regardless. Keep in mind, they NEVER contacted us about the recall. We informed them on June 16th 2021 when we found the recall info randomly in a business article. We were told then, and again today that they could not help us despite the fact that BOTH machines that we’ve purchased from them were on the recall list. Kirit went around in circles with me 1. Suggesting that I talk to my doctor (we already did) 2. That I contact my insurance (already did) and 3. Ask the manufacturer for a replacement. My husband stops breathing 40x per hour I can’t wait MONTHS to replace his machine- it’s already been replaced. I never asked for my $575 back I just asked to not be charged for the next 6 months on a machine that CAUSES CANCER AND WE WERE TOLD BY OUR DOCTOR AND THE MANUFACTURER TO STOP USING IMMEDIATELY. The whole experience has been overwhelmingly stressful and most unhelpful.
This company is great. The respiratory therapist is so kind and helpful.
Very helpful with cpap. Very informative and knowledgeable
Excellent detail on cPap. Appreciate the extra time spent explaining the machine.
As a 100% Totally and Permanently Disabled Veteran on an ASV CPAP for central as well as obstructive sleep apnea I needed to have a mask that would provide an effective seal from the higher pressures. After using a particular mask successfully during a recent sleep study Kirit went out of his way to insure that I received exactly what I needed in order to provide not only much-needed relief for me at night, but also to allow my wife to sleep peacefully without constant snoring and ill-fitted mask interruptions. Thank you, Kirit, and Progressive Home Medical!
I rented a portable o2 machine to bring my Uncle home and it beeped continuously the entire 200+ miles. I was advised by Barbara that it would need servicing when it was returned and I even checked the manual. After requesting another $259.50,I was told it was my Uncle’s fault for his breathing that caused the beeping. The customer service is terrible. I imagine that‘a why Medicare didn’t pay the bills. I would recommend trying another company definitely!
Wonderful service. Explain everything I was getting step by step.
Went into the Progressive office to order my CPAP equipment I needed. The original person I dealt with was awesome, forgot her name. Since then I have nothing but runaround from this company. Originally told me I was on an auto fill order and would not have to do a thing. That autofill never showed up and when I called they said they do not do auto fill orders. haha.... So, I was told he would contact my Insurance company. BCBS. He said its takes about 2 hours to complete. ( I know better). but I would have everything I needed within a couple days. Its been 2 weeks now and still trying to get answers. Every time I call that person is out of the office, step out or wont be in today. Not real sure how this company is still in business.Rude, incompetent personnel and the worst Customer Care I have ever seen. (I am in the business)Trust me and all the other reviews you read about Progressive.STAY AWAY
Excellent customer service, very helpful.
Kelly explained everything I needed, was great!
We purchased a motorized scooter for my disabled husband> They told us they did not file with the insurance company, but we could file ourselves. After getting everything together the last we needed was the tax ID and the NPI number from Progressive Home Medical. When I called, I talked to Heather. She was rude, mean and very unprofessional!! She said there was no way she going to give me that information! I told her she could call the insurance company directly, she said NO!! I asked to talk to someone else, she said NO!! She didnt want the insurance company calling and bugging her!! They state that customer service is their top priority< what a joke!! Theyre the ones that said we could file a claim ourselves. Then they not only deny our request, but she was an absolute witch about it!!
Marci is amazing ands well as the whole staff. I’ve been with Progressive Home for 8 months and am delighted with there care and service. I live 45 minutes from them in the fall and winter and summer in Albuquerque, NM.I feel comfortable with them and work with them long distance, which is my choice. Since getting my c-Pap they are constantly monitoring me. Anytime I call if Marci gets right back to me. If she’s not available the staff goes out of there way to make sure my questions and need are handled. I have been in sales most of my life. People mostly post negative comments.!!!I’m sure I’m one of hundreds of customers who are very satisfied with this company and staff. I urge those who are happy with this company post there comments. It is impossible to make everyone happy all the time. Just the process of trying to deal with insurance company is a very difficult task. I hope this note helps those of you looking for a professional and caring service give Progressive a try.
Have used them twice they were extremely helpful. Today stopped in to get mask they had plenty. They indicated that they were well stocked. Also had hand sanitizer etc.Always friendly always helpful.
Very helpful people. Made it very easy to work with insurance and Progressive Home Medical to get a breast-pump. They offered the latest Spectra- it is very high quality, and was able to pick it up Monday following my visit to the store on Friday afternoon. I highly recommend this store for your medical device needs.
Visited Progressive Home Medical yesterday to pick up a CPAP. Marci sat down with me and made sure I knew all of the workings of the unit and verified that I understood everything. She helped me select a proper fitting mask that will work for me. I am very impressed with the caliber of people working there. Very professional staff and truly made sure my needs were taken care of.
They started off great. In fact we moved all of our service to them after our good experience with them. Unfortunately they made a billing error and failed to bill our insurance company. They refused to correct their mistake,(all they needed to do was submit info to my insurance co.) they simply forced us to pay out of pocket. Pay for their mistake or we will send you to collections. Great choice. I will be finding another provider.
My experience at this location was exceptional, the staff were very pleasant especially Marci Thorpe who handled explaining my new equipment and how to use it. By the time I left I felt like family.
I met with Marci and she was so nice, courteous and knowledgeable. She listened to all my questions and concerns and helped me make some good decisions. Thank you Marci!
I have known the folks at Progressive for about 15 years. The owner is ethical, always striving to deliver the best customer service and incredibly helpful. Everyone involved wants to help make the process of supplying medical equipment as simple and streamlined as possible, which can be a challenge with Insurance, and please the customer along the way.
This place has some major issues, how they treat people in medical need is almost criminal and I cant believe the ownership is allowing this type of behavior to continue. I checked their website and saw that my insurance was accepted, I called in and asked if my insurance was accepted, I had my doctor email them a script for a medical grade pump and then sent them all the required information they asked for.I got an email from Barbara in all caps telling me they are not contracted with my insurance and could not fill the order. Since my insurance is an open network provider and will work with anyone who will take them I called to clear the air. The lady on the phone would not transer me and told me after I informed her of the above that it was actually becauselant they are medical grade, and that my insurance wont pay for there model and she rattled off some long number. I asked her to update her refusal email with accurate information for me to pass onto the insurance company and she refused. (seems a bit fraudalent). I eventually got out of her that in the past they had attempted to use my insurance for another client and claimed my insurance did not pay and they stuck the patient with the bill. I kept asking for a better description given to me since the one email was not accurate and I eventually got that it was to much to text and would just be to confusing. I asked for some guidance that was denied along with a moment of silence before I got a can we help you with any else and a ended call.As a community we can step up to this type of behavior, I challange everyone to find a new place to go to until this place is forced to change.
Be very careful of the equipment you rent here. Inspect it fully before leaving. I rented a wheelchair for a week and when we went to use it the front wheel wobbled so bad it vibrated the whole chair and the brakes were not tight enough. We took the chair to Flagstaff so we couldnt change it out and no compensation was offered upon return. Rated a one star for poor equipment and customer service.
Marci was very informative. I felt comfortable knowing that I have been helped by someone who really cares about the client.
Great customer service the staff (Barbara,Marci,Beatrice, and Starla) very kind helpful do all they can to get you the products you need and with the insurance companies got to meet the owner as well Kirit just all around great people who care
Went to almost 3 different pharmacies to find a box of sterile Q Tips, but none carried them. Luckily one of the pharmacies referred me to this location, and it’s literally a medical supply wonderland 💯. Perfect stop for ALL medical supplies!
So, heres the thing.. I give them 4 stars because I like MOST of the staff. Theyre all really nice and I havent had any issues with anything.. Except this main dude Gary.. What should have been a 5min call turned into a half hour because he talks too much!! I was trying to go from one quick problem to the next but he kept trying to explain to me how it works and he gave these asinine analogies to explain those details like he was trying to explain it to a kid. It felt very condescending, and I told him to please let me finish twice! I think they should let him know that he talks way too much. If I was a 90yr old who didnt know which end was up, I would understand, but Im a fairly intelligent 39yr old. I will totally recommend them to those who ask me if I know any good medical supply companies, I dont see that random question happening, but I will! Lol! Id just tell em to be patient with Gary 😂Update: I had walked in and Barbara had been rude but, she was dealing with a difficult customer. Anyway, as annoying as Garys over explaining was.. He did end up helping Marcie fix my apap machine so well that I take back my earlier statement.. Even if no one asks me I will put the word out that if anyone needs a supply company that these guys are great.. Just be patient with them and youll be satisfied! BTW Marci is the best CS person ever! Shes so happy & cherry and she just rocks!
I got my equipment from Progressive Home Medical when I didnt have insurance. Cindy gave me a discount and spent a lot of time making sure I had what I needed. Even when I moved out of state, Gary spent a good 20 minutes helping me with my concerns and gave me some incredibly good advice. Thank you. Thank you!
ProgressiveHomeMedical @ 1045 Riggs RDSuite #107Chandler, AZ 85248I have been fortunate to find This particular location during this year.I live only 3 miles away.I have to say it is rare the professionalism located here. It is also a blessing.Gary and his associates all have these traits. they exhibit what the meaning of client service. I primarily use their services for my CPAP supplies. They go beyond service in this respect. There are several instances that I have needed either supplies or advice. I greatly enjoy the convenience of there location. Garys integrity is a thing of beauty in todays world. Specifically, there are several instances that I felt I needed certain supplies for my CPAP equipment or other items they have available. I would have been perfectly happy to acquire some of them.there a some times that I was told I didnt them and why. This was accompanied with professional explanations of the workings of CPAP.He could have easily sold me things I thought I needed but didnt. To whom it may concern: This is a staff that truly incorporates what Client Service actually means.Thank you.Warren W. PhillipsWarren W. Phillips
Marci was very informative and took the time to answer all my questions. Was a bit out of my way but all the staff there was very helpful in the whole process.
What a disreputable company. Purchased a truss for my husband. Salesperson did not disclose the no refund policy and when we tried it on at home, over his clothing found it not true to size. When I called to order a larger size was curtly informed that i should have read their return policy on the receipt. Who reads a receipt? Now we are out +62.00. A business who cared about customers would acknowledge they did not disclose the policy and do the right thing. Unfortunately, they just dont care. Go someplace that does.
We recently relocated from NY to AZ. Half way across country my husbands CPAP machine stopped working. He has relied on this machine for years. We contacted Progressive Home Medical and they work very hard and quickly to get my husband a new machine. Thank you.
I completely disagree with the negative reviews! It is hard to find a company who cares about customers more than PHM. Gary is a blessing! He can, has and will go the extra mile forANYONE!
They lied to me and told me they had products they didnt have.
I have been doing business with this company for about seven months now. They were extremely helpful in getting my Mother who is on 24/7 oxygen set up, so she could travel from Maryland to Arizona to move permanently. They absolutely went out of their way to make sure she had everything when she needed it, and also had the concentrator set up at the house for her arrival. Today, I went into the retail store to look for a bipap mask and inquire about other services, and once again, the customer service they provided to me blew me away. They even called my other biPap supply company on our behalf to help straighten things out. I will continue to use this company for as long as I am around, and will recommend it hands down to anyone who needs a wonderful home medical supplier.
Just a small item but had all skin off forearm. Urgent care used a non-adhering pad went to my drug store and bought more but not McKessen brand. They were NOT non-adhering!! Went to PCH and got McKessen brand at one half price of the ones at drug store and McKessen are truly NON-ADHERING. Glad to know they are here.
The owner will not work insurance even with pre-authorization. His greed is clearly is getting in the way of new customers. This owner continues to screw over patients in need.
This company is unprofessional and unethical. It continues to bill me for a product I was told I owned 5 months ago. I have spoken to the owner who knows and understands his billing analyst and manager, Patricia and Beatrice unethically asked me to commit insurance fraud by lying on insurance forms to say that I still owned and used a breast pump that I sent to a recycling program for military families after I was told by an agent of the company that I owned, free and clear, in December 2015. This debt will go to collection because I will not pay for something that I do not owe.
I simply cannot recommend that you go to anyone else other than this company for your medical equipment needs!!! After getting involved in the biggest fiasco of my entire life, with PREFERRED HOME HEALTHCARE and dealing with their continual lies and excuses, I was forced to find a different company or lose my sanity completely! Believe me, I am NOT exaggerating one bit!So, my primary care Dr. decided for me to try this company instead. BOY AM I GLAD I LISTENED TO MY DR!!!In a very short time, I was able to go through all of the required testing and evaluations that were recommended by a gentleman named Lynn Nichols at Progressive Home Medical. He very quickly met with me AND my doctor during an exam to be re-evaluated for a power wheelchair (again, after the fiasco as Preferred, we had to start all over again) However, THIS time, everything was done in a timely manner, professionalism at its finest and most efficient, and with kindness and compassion the entire time! We have been through 2 appeals to the insurance company who is giving us the run around, but not from anything that this company has done incorrectly. It is simply a case of the insurance company wanting to try to get out of paying for something that IS covered, and all the hoops have been jumped through, already, so to speak.Kirit, the owner, is an AMAZING MAN. Kindness flows through his veins like blood and Compassion is his middle name, as is the same with Lynn Nicolls and the wonderous Priscilla Alvarado! They have been in direct contact with me and the women in various departments of my doctors practice that have helped during this previous mess. I will forever think of them all with extreme fondness and trust for the rest of my life, regardless of how this latest appeal turns out. Thats how enamored I am with this company! 61 yrs old and they were actually able to give me my sanity back again!
Make sure that they have the info correct and its not almost closing time. I came in for a nebulizer on a Friday afternoon at 4:35 pm. I asked for a nebulizer and was immediately quoted price of 79.88. I said that I had a prescription and they asked what insurance I had...All quite normal. I said that I had Blue Cross Blue Shield. Oh no problem except for the women that would have to do the paperwork obviously wanted to get off work. She then informed me that Blue Cross Blue Shield were already closed so the owner started paperwork and said I think the price we charge them is about $136 now the lady said it $145 approx. (he scratched through the number). Dont worry we will get the codes changed and have things taken care of. Today Monday they called me and informed me that I will owe them over 150 dollars. In fact amazingly my exact deductible. Called my insurance and they do not close until 7pm Mountian time on Friday which shows you that they lied about the insurance be closed on Friday, I called my insurance today twice to confirm this information. The prices are all over priced, I have informed my insurance of what they are doing and the fact that they lied about when my insurance was closed. My mother was fully handicapped and I can tell you this she would never have done business with a group like this. Progressive Home medial is being reported to BBB and to the insurance company. I suggest you stay away, There are good home medical companies in AZ. Just not this one! Check out Banner Home Care, RTA Homecare among many others, STAY AWAY FROM THIS ONE!
These guys are horrible! Very rude, not helpful and wouldnt take back a chin strap I didnt even use. All I wanted to do is exchange it for one that fit me. They basically told me to pound sand. I give these guys maybe another year and they will be out of business.
Good doctors and good service.
Dont waste your time and money with this company.
Helped me solve my foot pain issues with the right shoes and socks
