Ive been using Victory in Chan for a few years now. I always get good service from folks who know what theyre doing, and who I can trust. That goes a long way for me, when it comes mechanical work. I dont know a lot about cars and I certainly dont have all the tools Id need to work on it anyway. Every time theyre able to narrow down the problem and handle it. I also feel that Im being treated fairly. They have definitely earned my trust and my business and I hope they can keep my 03 and 09 running until they get rid of touch screen controls in cars.

We brought them a truck we were interested in to have a pre-purchase inspection done. 30 minutes later they were finished and found possibly thousands of dollars of work that needed doing--we were relieved that we had them look it over before we bought it! Long story short, Ben advised us on what we ought to ask the dealership to fix in order to go any further with the truck. He worked with the trucks dealership on our behalf to straighten out its auto history and give us the most and best information they could. Ben was an invaluable resource! I own a 15 year old Jeep Liberty with 210,000. Now lets face it that to drive that long you need a lot of TLC and a great machanic shop. Well I provide the TLC and Victory Auto Service does the rest The workmanship is outstanding, the customer service is second to none and the pricing is very competitive in the market place. Dustin and his staff have always been at the top of their game and I would highly recommand Victory Auto In Chanhassen or any of their 8 convient locations to anyone looking for reliable and honest automotive service. Im very impressed! My car died on the way to bring it in to Victory (at the busiest intersection in Chan!), we called Victory and they called us a tow truck. Few years later, my car started to act the same way as I brought it to them. I’m not sure if it was just a temporary thing they did but I spent about $2k for something that was temporary. Not really happy with that.

Took my car in for a front alignment on Monday. Was quoted 89.95 when the appointment was made and then during the appointment, the adviser came up to me said your alignment was so bad that instead of 89.95 now it is 149.95 because they have to do it twice. After the service, I requested for the alignment report, the tech and adviser had a moment about thought-already-print-it vs. never-get -it. In the end, they managed to get me a printout (note: its not in the format of Hunter report, I knew this since I had alignment done before). After examining the report, the alignment is worse than before! Today I went to see the adviser, he said he doesnt read alignment report, asked me to wait for the manager/supervisor off the phone. I told the manager/supervisor the report does not make sense to me he said its a printer error without even looking at the report! He offers to re-run the alignment check to get the result, but not right now. Thanks and but no thanks. I wont ever let you guys touch my car again!

FINALLY! A service organization that understands how to deliver a service! Victory uncovered several warranty items. Sent me on my way to a dealership. Two dealerships later..The dealership fixed what they wanted to fix and did not fix the primary problem. Back to Victory and working together we were able to uncover the issue. I am very happy with the service and the pricing is very fair. I will continue to take all of our vehicles here!

I knew I couldnt fix this problem on my own so I looked around nearby shops in my area and found Victory. It had great reviews so I thought Id give them a try. Not only did they fix the problem I went in for but they also noticed my exhaust had a rattle while they were servicing it. I knew about this problem but just havent got around to it. I stuck my head under the car to check out their work and to my surprise the mechanic had fixed my exhaust rattle without me even asking. Im not sure if Ive ever gotten bonus work done from a professional shop before. THANK YOU!!I would definitely go back and recommend this shop to anyone.

Interesting how their selling proposition is not taking advantage of customers when that is exactly what they did to me. I had come to really like and trust this place because theyre so friendly and proactive, but it turns out they gave me an astronomical quote for things that didnt even have to be done. I made the long drive to someone I trust and got it fixed up properly without even paying a dime compared to Victorys quote. They gave me a false report on what needed to get fixed. So disappointed.

Edit: Co-owner called me directly to talk about this situation half hour after posting my original feedback. He sounded genuine in fixing this situation, and really wanted to know what happened so he can make things right and use it as valuable feedback to serve customers better moving forward. We both understand mistakes happen, and that this was a one-time exception scenario. Co-owner was happy to refund the diagnostic charge and offered free oil change the next time I visit without question. Ill wait for this follow-through, and will change the rating of this review accordingly.Victory Chanhassen seems to be run by nice people, and had positive experience from my family in the past. I had a head gasket issue that needed replacing, and didnt need a diagnostic check performed as I was well aware of the head gasket issue beforehand. Victory said theyd still do the diagnostic check for free and give me an estimate of the gasket replacement fix. I took it in for review, but was charged around $60 for the diagnostic review that I didnt need at the first place. I told them multiple times over the phone that a diagnostic wasnt needed, and that the gasket needed replacement, but I wasnt sure if they mistaken hearing me saying a headlight check. $60 wasnt the end of the world, and I paid without question as I knew they spent time looking at it. Nonetheless, I was somewhat disappointed. Total estimated cost also doubled from other places for this fix, so I took my vehicle elsewhere for the fix without an initial diagnostic check needed.

Victory Auto exceeded my expectations, right away from when they answered the phone and I was talking to a friendly representative, ready and willing to help me. Bob was courteous and they took my vehicle in and fixed the issue same-day. Im recommending them to everyone and will be back for mileage maintenance. I had a headlight replaced about a year ago. The headlight went out again. I returned to Victory to have the headlight replaced which they promptly did.After giving me the invoice i mentioned that the headlight had been replaced about a year ago. He looked up my account and saw that indeed that headlight had been replaced a year ago. He promptly grabbed the invoice and crumpled it up and threw it in the trash. The tire light came on and Victory Auto got me in the same day and discovered a screw in the tire. It was quickly repaired and Im on my way. This auto Service is by far one of the best Ive experienced. Both my Beetle and Mazda have been in for regular service as well as a variety of issues. I always get prompt and courteous service. I just love going to Victory for all of my car needs. Toby is always a smiling face when I arrive and actually REMEMBERS who I am, even though I dont come in very often. They always do top notch work and for the first time ever, I trust a mechanic outside of my own family. They consistently have conversations with me on what they recommend, what can wait to be done, what should be done now and what I dont necessarily need to have done if I dont plan to keep my car that much longer.The waiting area is also clean and orderly and they provide cold beverages, coffee and even have a popcorn machine.All in all I highly recommend victory for all of your automotive needs!
