Should’ve looked at the reviews before working with them but of course this is who Geek Squad warranty booked it with for our Whirlpool fridge.Zero to rude customer service. We called them everyday and left messages after GeekSquad made an arrangement to change the appt date due to prior arrangements established. Never heard back from them. They called us the day before the appt with an automated system message about confirming the appt. We called them back and finally someone answered and “made a note” on our account about when we will be unavailable during the long window of them I’m coming out from 8 am to 5 pm and told us to call back in the morning for the technician. The next day we call and this incredibly rude woman answered the phone. Too much of a coward to say her name because she probably knows her work ethic is lackluster. She’s telling us that managers don’t accept calls before 3 pm. We call back and Dawn answers the phone, she took us seriously and was able to get a manager on the phone. Adam, the manager tried to do damage control to redeem his poor staff’s customer service and phone etiquette. He was able to pencil us in the following day, creating solutions for customers as you’re supposed too. But in the end, the way they run their business is terrible. Long quotes and apparently if you miss their call they don’t ring the door bell, even with cars in the driveway. So they drive away if you don’t answer the phone (apparently you’re not allowed to attend to your life after already waiting ten days) absolutely absurd and ridiculous. Zero courtesy or empathy, already going 10 days with out a solution and working fridge. So of course we have to do more leg work to get our broken fridge serviced. Stop blaming COVID for everything when you clearly have an unsatisfactory business performance and structure. Will never work with these unprofessional people.

Add me to the list of people ASI has delivered poor service with. In short, their communication is poor, cant trust dates they give you, and you the customer will be expected to work on their terms and their scheduling person will not attempt to be nice or accommodating. Was scheduled to have a part replaced, reworked our schedule around ensuring someone could be home that day, only to get a call that morning the technician had an emergency, but theyd come out the next day. Next day comes, exact same situation. Following week, the technician is ready to come back out. I miss his call but call back in Noon hour and was told Im out of luck and would have to wait until ten days later now as that is when he could now help me. I understand things happen in life, but the fact they asked for flexibility from me two straight days, but then have no desire to try and take care of me promptly given my patience is unacceptable. I actually went directly to the product vendor, found a different local service provider who immediately called me, confirmed they already have the part, and that person will be out in two days. Thats how you run a company and good luck if you choose ASI.

Lack of compassion for customers, no concern. Our KitchenAid/Whirlpool refrigerator went out 4 months ago and they still have not fixed it. They send a tech out who looks at the fridge for 5 minutes, scratches his head and replaces one part at a time. After they make a repair, you have 24 hours to see if it works... they have been out 4 times to my house to troubleshoot. Every time they order a new part, its inevitably on back order, it comes in and it doesnt solve the problem... rinse and repeat. Out 4 months on a brand new refrigerator that weve had for less than 1 year... $4K fridge. I would expect more from a service company.NOTE TO ALL APPLIANCE MAKERS - QUIT SENDING YOUR CUSTOMERS TO THESE PEOPLE! THEY DO NOT CARE AND MAKE YOUR PRODUCTS AND INTEGRITY LOOK TERRIBLE.

I have to disagree with most of other reviewers here!My experiences with ASI is nothing short of amazing. From the CS representatives to dispatcher to the technician, Anthony. They all are showing the epitome of professionalism. They called the day before the appointments and early morning of appointments they called to give me a 2-3 hours window and never deviate from that time-frame.I have to give a special shoutout to Anthony, he gave a precise diagnosis, explained his reasoning and a few days later came back with the parts and the range worked as new since!I will always use Whirlpool and ASI Appliance from now on!

Service rep Rochelle mocks deaf and hard of hearing customers. Reps no show for appointments, then lie to Whirlpool. Completely unprofessional and untrustworthy. As you can tell from similar bad reviews, this is the standard with this company. The owner would have you believe that a tech shows up to your home but if you don’t answer a call (that I had never been instructed to expect, despite being instructed to wait at home between 8am and 5pm, instructed to call and cancel if needed) that said tech will just leave rather than knock on the door. Sounds absolutely legit, right? And as for Rochelle, I don’t know about other people, but “how do you expect to live your life if you can’t answer a phone” after being told I am DEAF is pretty despicable. I can’t imagine how I would want to continue to do any business with this kind of company.

If he doesnt love his job he needs to do something else.He raised his voice and snapped at me for know reason of our own. If he is going into someone elses home to service a call he needs to take some anger management classes and learn that when he enters in someone elses home he needs to be respectable in their home. Based on his unprofessionalism I give them a-⭐Just for that horrible experience in our own home. Plus I have two elderly parents who live in the home. I cringe to think that man entering in other elderly homes having that AWFUL ATTITUDE with others in just a service call.NEVER WILL HE DARKEN OUR DOOR STEP AGAIN. ASI was contracted by Whirlpool to repair my Kitchenaid dishwasher that has a factory defect. ASI has failed to repair the dishwasher on 3 separate occasions. The 1st attempt repairman Luis dismantled the dishwasher and replaced the incorrect part. After an hour he stated I would have to call Whirlpool to reschedule since he was unable to repair. Luis was rude, disrespectful and clearly incompetent. What kind of plumber does not realize he is replacing the incorrect part? The 2nd attempt ASI confirmed appointment and receipt of correct replacement part. The day of appointment ASI called to cancel appointment due to not receiving the part required. Third and final attempt ASI sent same repairman from 1st attempt, Luis. He was late to arrive and then proceeds to stay in his van for 20 minutes. As soon as he walks in asks where the kitchen is to which I reply you have been here before, its to your right. He storms me at the front door, which I was still standing by, to harras me and say he was leaving without repairing the the dishwasher. He truly scared me ! I was home alone with my 2 daughters. I called ASI immediately to complain regarding repairman and manager was rude over the phone. Offered no apology nor explanation for my dishwasher not being repaired. I think ASI is billing Whirlpool to repair products they dont actuallyservice. I honestly cannot think of another reason why they would NOT repair contracted products. Whirlpool needs to hire another company to service there products.

Even though the phone number error came from Maytag originally the company refused to send someone out until I threatened to submit my complaint to the Texas Attorney General office that handles consumer complaints. Finally, the technician came out and indicated the dryer belt was broken and promised me to bring back a replacement to complete the service in the same day. After 2 hours I contacted the company and they indicated that he lied and I had to wait 24 hours until that’s confirmed. So why take the belt from my residence when he didn’t intend on coming back? Also the technician lied and indicated that there was nothing wrong with my dryer on the invoice.I contacted Maytag again and a rep took it on herself to order the belt. I explained to her that I didn’t want that company to ever come back and service my appliances and requested for a different company to come instead. Now i see why the company has poor ratings on google and Yelp.I sent an email to the CEO of Whirlpool/Maytag and requested for a different company assigned to me. I truly hope CEO cut all ties with this horrific company. ASI need to see what it feels like to lose big companies’ respect and revenue.

Pros: The costumer service team responsible for phone lines is polite, prompt and give good visibility to the repairs process.Cons: Time to Repair - Initial appointment cab take between 1-2 weeks. With a broken down appliance that isn’t ideal. This is coupled with the process of backordered parts. When they expedite a part it can take 21 days.Technician: The overall ratings for the vendor are low and the reason behind it is the on-site repair team.Hoping others don’t have to go through the countless issues we have gone through.

I have had the worst experience ever trying to get this company ASI Appliance to repair the Range (Stove) which is Whirlpool at my new home in Katy Texas. Called Whirlpool several times, they didnt have the parts, and always referred me to ASI Appliance as their rep in Katy Texas. I had nowhere else to go, I am stuck with ASI and it has taken over a month for them to get the parts, and now that they have the parts, it has been a nightmare to get them to send a technician over. ASI called me two weeks ago and said they have the parts and the technician can go next week April 28, 2021 to my house. later ASI called to re-schedule because the Technician had Family issues. the appointment was re-scheduled for Saturday May 1st. Saturday morning, the guy calls me at 7:30 AM and because I didnt answer the phone, he called ASI and notified that I am not available. I called him back at 9;40 AM and said I am available, and he said was not in the area and will not make it. Said ASI will call me Monday to re-schedule again. Today is Tuesday and ASI never called me. I had to call them again and now the only availability is for Thursday May 6th. Honestly I am sick of this company ASI is the worst nightmare ever. Very unprofessional, they do not care about their customers, and they are not responsive at all. Takes for ever to get anything done with this company. Unfortunately, I am stock with ASI because they are the only Rep Whirlpool will refer you to in Katy Tx. I will never buy Whirlpool again.

I am hardly alone in giving this company one star. If I could give them zero stars I would. Your technician didn’t even assess the issue. He spent less than five minutes in our home and charged us for the visit. We knew what part may be necessary and could have ordered it from whirlpool with no delay due to Covid. However, in the tech manuals it says to attempt to clean the drain pipe prior to replacing the drain pump. That is what we thought we would get for the cost of the visit. We did not. That is why I disputed the credit card charge and received a full refund for services not rendered.

Not sure if ASI is worse than the kitchenAid product line but between both of them they make supply chain management and reliability engineering look like foreign concepts. I waited over two months for a part from @Kitchen Aid only to have @ASI tell me it was damaged in shipping “but” miraculously they had another part in the warehouse they could use. The tech came out and installed the part and it failed within two hours of the tech leaving! New console was ordered and arrived in two weeks but yep, you guessed it...it arrived damaged from KitchenAid. The comment from the scheduling person was “we have had problems with Fed Ex”...My new $1300 @KitchenAid microwave bought in June 2020 last worked correctly in October....I’m still waiting for a undamaged console.Update based on owner reply: you are correct that you do not control the backordered parts or receiving damaged parts 3x over 4 months but you do control the ability of your techs to troubleshoot, diagnose and remedy an issue correctly from the first service visit. It’s an SOP manual they follow so I doubt it’s that difficult but between the poor customer service, lackadaisical attitude and overall “it is what it is mentality without a shred of empathy for the consumer who bought a $1400 microwave I’ve used 5 times in 13 months, I’d say ASI isn’t getting the benefit of the doubt.Oh..still waiting on my 2 week follow ups on the status of the part. I’ve received one proactively in 6 weeks and that was only after contacting Kitchen Aids customer care department.Bottom line- if your technician had diagnosed the problem correctly the first time, perhaps this wouldn’t be an issue.

155 reviews and 2.0 rating? Not surprised. Im not sure how they manage to keep their contract for Whirlpool warranty repair. So Whirlpool is their customer but warranty holders are the end user. There is absolutely no incentive to provide outstanding service, since word-of-mouth is not a factor. As a warranty holder, we are beholden - unless we want to find another provider and pay out of pocket (which makes no sense if the product is under warranty). This company is terrible about communicating with customers and/or setting any reasonable expectations - and they dont seem to care (after all they are contracted!). Worse customer servicer ever plus they lie about service call being DEDUCTED.When I called to schedule service I was told the service call fee was 135 and that it would be deducted from the bill if I decided to proceed with repair. When the tech came out he said the bill was 135 + 89 (labor) + parts (400). I called the office to verify and that’s were the nightmare starts. I was then given an explanation which essentially made no sense. When I asked her to repeat she said I have explained too many times and I won’t repeat again. When I told her I had been misinformed and that I would never use them again she said THAT IS GREAT AND HANGED UP!Tech explained that the real situation is that they don’t charge you again the service fee if they have to come back to do the repair (in case they don’t carry the part). He said this is a recurrent problem with the office talking about DEDUCTIONS that really don’t exist.I have never written bad review for any company before, but I really think this is a deliberate incorrect statement to charge you extra 135 dollars plus NEVER have I ever seen any company hang up the phone to a customer. Technician misdiagnosed the problem on our washing machine. Said it was likely a worn out rear bearing and seals. Suggested that the repair would not be justified and that we should get a new machine.I watched some professional videos online put together by appliance part sellers. Disassembled the top cover, which takes a few minutes and immediately found the obvious cause for the leak was a worn out tub to dispenser hose. I disassembled the front panel and found another hose that was likely not leaking but the material was degraded. The bellows also looked like it was worth replacing after having removed it to inspected. In short, the leaking hose cost $13. The other hose about $12. The bellows was about 90 including shipping. So I fixed the leak point plus two other worn out parts that could start leaking for less than what the technician charged for a superficial check and a bad diagnosis. I’m giving them two stars only because they reimbursed their tech service visit, and asked me for any photos I had of the true leak point “for training purposes”. I do hope they retrain their team.

They are super rude. I was able to talk to the manager about Ms. Dona and she was just as rude even after they heard the audio recording. I had let them know that I was going to be at my home after 10:40am because I had to drop off my son for his therapy in Friendswood and then back to Humble and they still sent someone to be here during the time we werent home. She even told me that if I did not like the way they talked that they were going to make us go to another company. Very poor customer service. Will never recommend. And please do not bother to reply to my google review Ms. Tracie. and thanks for blocking me on Facebook so my review wouldnt show.

One start because there is no option for ZERO. Do not be surprised if they come out for a warranty call and then try to charge you $125. The technicians are adamant about the service fee since it goes directly in their pocket. I figured this out when he told me if you dont pay me then I dont get paid today. But it was a warranty call!!! I wasnt supposed to pay anything! WOW. This is a shady way of doing business.

Great customer service, even though it took a bit longer than expected for my fridge to get fixed which was an extra week, I still know it wasnt their fault because sometimes maybe the part gets damaged on its way there or the part might take a bit longer than expected and I know they are doing what they can to the best of their abilities, these negative reviews are just close minded misunderstandings, yes it sucks to not have an appliance working for a while, you get grumpy and blame it on the wrong people, but its a small business so look at the bigger picture, and understand that you have to show respect to get it back, no point in snapping at people... keep up the good work👍

First of all, the technician, Ray, came with an attitude, wasnt interested in hearing what the issue was with our Kitchenaid microwave/oven combo. He had a mask on which is fine but were at home, in our house so we are not wearing a mask plus we were never advised or asked to do so. When my husband tried to point out what the issue was with the microwave, the tech asked him to step back - keep in mind, they are were at least 4 feet apart - again my husband told him this is the issue we were having. The guy said, Ok Im done and leaving. He picked up his tools and left. We called the company to complain and the manager, Julia, was no help at all. I guess they dont need the business. I am in the customer service industry and if I had treated a client this way, I would have been fired. If hes scared to be around people, he needs to find another line of work. We will NEVER use this company again. After posting this review, I noticed how many 1 star reviews they get, its no wonder and its a wonder theyre still in business.

As of today it has taken more than two months to get a Whirlpool dryer fixed from this company. ASI appliance has been the worst company to work with their lack of communication and incompetence its unbelievable. I have had more than three techs come out to my house wait for more than 30 minutes and then come knock on the door and tell me that they do not have the part that is needed to fix my dryer and have walked away. Finally today I spoke to one of the techs which stated once more that the part was not in his vehicle and I informed him that Whirlpool had changed the part number but he stated that he could not do anything in regards to that and had to contact his company to verify. After a 40-minute back and forth phone tag with the company themselves they finally were able to contact the tech and confirm that the part had always been in his vehicle but he was no longer in the service area and the service call would have to be rescheduled for the next possible date. it is unfortunate that a name brand like Whirlpool has to use this type of service, which affects the customer and their trust in the brand.

The staff member answering the phone was rude, confrontational, and argumentative. I asked for a supervisor, she placed me on a long hold to tell me she was the manager...so I asked for her boss. She said they would be in touch by the end of the day-surprisingly, never received a call. Conveniently, my parts didn’t get ordered in a timely manner, so my appointment kept getting pushed back. Very coincidental. Fortunately, as she mentioned several times, she had the ability to tell me exactly what was said in our conversations because they were recorded...should be easy to review this! I simply don’t understand how scheduling an appointment warrants such unprofessional, threatening behavior. I considered using an outside company just to not have to deal with her again. The tech who actually visited the house was fast, kind, efficient. Very professional.

This place seems like a den of scammers. I called to set up an appointment for them to look at our built-in refrigerator. They couldnt give me a time but rather said a tech. would call between the hours of 7 and 8 AM to schedule my three hour window...Then, after some further research I called them back and asked if they could give me a ball park quote on replacing several items in the fridge (compressor, etc.). The lady on the phone was rude and explained she couldnt quote anything, that a tech. would have to do that. But no techs were available and I would have to pay a $135 service fee for the tech. to look at the unit before they could provide a recommended repair. I wont ever be calling this company again.

If your service guy is name Avery you might as well cancel, he will argue, doesn’t even read directions on the testing equipment then say it is a house duct issue. Even after the whirlpool airflow test says poor airflow. Out duct is six inches and sunlight can be see if you stick something through it. Clearly not blocked. Ask him where the intake of the dryer is, he will say there is only an exhaust pipe and the blower makes air to go out. Any simple elementary science class will tell you air cannot be made. They now say they won’t be coming back without charging even though it is under warranty and said to get another third party to work on it.

1 and a month old Maytag washer starts having issues. Thats ok, things fail, I selected 12-4 time frame because is the only time frame it works for us. Well I got an unknown call from a service tech saying my appointment is from 8-11 instead of the requested 12-4. I called to find out why and their answer is: the requested time is not a guarantee long story short, they did want to come to my home because that is the time that works for them no matter what. They basically do whatever they want. Minutes later I received a call from them saying that there is another technician that is able to come to my home between 12-2. Well, that works for us but all of this could have been avoidable if the 12-2 schedule would have been the initial response. I wonder if Maytag/Whirlpool has another service provider because this company is a shame.

I’m a mechanical engineer but with no experience fixing refrigerators and I probably could have done a better job than this company. They took 4 visits to fix a 2 year old refrigerator under warranty that wasn’t cooling properly. The first tech made one visit to diagnose and order parts since they don’t keep them on their truck. He made a second visit to replace compressor, evaporator etc. and told us it would take 24 hours for the refrigerator to cool down (first red flag). 24 hours later our refrigerator wasn’t cooling at all and we lost $400 worth of food. Called customer service and left message after hours and no response the next day. Called again the next day and they scheduled a second tech to come out. Second tech made one visit to inspect and second visit to fix whatever the first tech did wrong. 4 visits over a week and a half without refrigerator = an angry wife and upset kids. This is worst appliance repair service I’ve ever used but was forced to use them since they are KitchenAid’s warranty provider for the area. To top it off, their tech’s call you using blocked numbers so if you miss their call good luck trying to ever reach them back. ASI should provide their technicians with business cell phones that they can turn off when they aren’t on the job.

As we expect when setting up appointments with repair companies, they were not punctual. Scheduled to have them come between 8am-12pm. Actual work was done at around 2:45. I received a call the morning of my appointment narrowing down my window to 10am-12pm. I also had requested a call ahead since I would need to come home from my work around the corner. At 11:50 when I hadn’t heard from ASI, I gave them a call. They informed me it would be closer to 1 before they would arrive. At 12:53 I received a call that they were an hour away. At 1:43 I got a call that he had arrived and needed the gate code. I gave them the code and said I would be there shortly. I arrived at 1:53 looked around my neighborhood because I didn’t see anyone and gave ASI a call. They then called me from another line at 1:54 to tell me he left and went on to the next appointment. They told me he could be there in 45 min. Just as they would like me to be respectful of their time I would ask the same. The woman I spoke to on the phone was extremely rude and screaming at me. If I got the hour ahead call at 12:53, and got to my house at 1:53 he should not have been gone. The man who did the work was nice and quick to fix the issue. As far as their call centers... I recommend having one person handle each appointment and to learn some customer service. You can guarantee I will call another company to do my service next time. **Update** Did an on-line chat with Whirlpool support. They confirmed Im screwed. Recommended their outlet store. Perfect.Seems to be two sides to the company and part of the blame must lie with Whirlpool. The dispatcher/customer rep is horrible. The technician was professional, but we are not fixed.5 year old washer -- around 6 months out of extended warranty -- started making bad sounds. Whirlpool referred to ASI after initially wanting to assign a Dallas company.Customer Rep called to say technician was on the way and mentioned for the first time the service call charge. The technician was prompt, courteous, and diligent. He reviewed the error codes and diagnosed as a part needing to be replaced, but he had to return the next day. He was again prompt and replaced the part. However, there seemed to be trouble with the calibration on the machine. He seemed to test everything and get results. When we started doing normal loads of laundry, the machine did not function normally. The cycle was different and often would not start as expected. Furthermore, loads would not drain or would take much longer than the timer indicated.Called ASI back to get further help with the issue. Customer Rep immediately mentioned that theyd be applying another service charge if there was another problem. I balked at the approach and there was no recourse.Since I didnt diagnose the problem or declare it fully fixed -- i.e. Im supposed to have 90 days on the call -- I dont feel the need to be on the hook for onesy-twosy part changes. The washer cost $700 new. This service call was in excess of $300 and the machine is not fixed. My washer is defective from the factory -- hot and cold connections are mislabeled. We had a service repair of the timing computer under Lowes warranty (technician reversed the hot/cold when done). It seems like Whirlpool washers are disposable items, more akin to cell phones, than the workhorses of the past.Wont use or recommend ASI to anyone ever. Hope the technicians get a better employer. Wont buy or recommend Whirlpool ever again.Bracing for the hour+ call to Whirlpool expecting to be told to stuff it. Hoping we can limp by on the washer and buy another in a couple months.

Poor excuse for customer service. This company does not value your time and does not understand the concept of a time window. They think they are doing you a favor when someone calls you the day of and gives you a window. Most people work an are unable to adjust their schedule at the drop of a hat. They need a better scheduling service. The only good thing I can say, is that even though the supervisor I spoke with doesnt listen to reason and seems to have no authority whatsoever, she maintained a reasonable tone in her responses. The one appointment I did get, tech came out and left my dishwasher unmounted, ran the dishwasher and said everything was working fine. If it were working fine, I would not need the service visit. Honestly, this company has to do better. Im not sure how they are still in business.

We purchased all new KitchenAid appliances and upon receiving our french door refrigerator we noticed a dent. KitchenAid offered to replace the right door and sent out ASI. Our techs name was Moody (last name) and he replaced the door quickly and answered whatever questions my wife and I had. We immediately noticed the door was sitting lower than the left door, and the door was not closing and suctioning properly since everytime we closed the left door, the right door would pop open. I contacted ASI, and while we had no qualms with Moody, I requested a different technician to get his opinion on a compressor noise we were experiencing. A few days later Russell shows up. Remember his name because you will want to avoid him at all cost. Im not sure if he had a bad day, but he definitely brought his frustration into our home. Regarding the door, he said its normal for the right door to pop open when closing the left door. My wife and I explained it was not like that before and he said that he encounters this all the time and became agitated when I assured him that it never did that till the door was replaced. We then discussed the fluctuation in temperature and how the top shelf varies in temperature far more than the lower shelfs. His response to my was its physics and proceeded to pull out the lowest bin and didnt bother to reinstall it properly as we later realized the two middle fruit bins would rub the top of the lower bin that Russell removed. Russell then insisted that the refrigerator needed to be moved away from the back wall. I explained to him that my wife and I, along with our kitchen designer, researched various brands since we wanted a counter depth fridge to build our cabinets around to give a built in look. We noticed the refrigerator in several KitchenAid advertisements and upon speaking with KitchenAid, they confirmed their refrigerator can accommodate our needs and referred us to the the refrigerators user guide where page 8 reads to allow for 1/2 on each side and top and 1 space behind the refrigerator. He quickly rejected this in a demeaning manner when I tried explaining the dimensions, so I pulled out the user guide and his response was that he never knew that. I even explained that there is a hard plastic fin on the back of the refrigerator that runs from the top to the bottom to ensure a 1 space, along with a sticker stating not to remove the fin. Again, Russell was unaware of that. Mind you, this model has been on the market for years and hes supposed to be the knowledgeable technician while I work in natural gas. Upon listening to his nonsense, we realized this is going nowhere and he left. I complained to KitchenAid and ASI, and ASI decided to send me someone named Derrick. Now remember that name because Derrick is quite possibly the nicest, most professional and most knowledgeable tech Ive encountered regarding my refrigerator. Upon opening the right door he realized a part was missing. Upon further investigation, the part that was missing was left in the original door that was discarded. He pulled up a diagram to show me the part and explained that once the part is installed, it will fix the leveling issue and allow the door to close freely (as it had before) and provide suction (as it had before). He also explained that the buzzing noise we hear is a common compressor sound and that KitchenAid tried putting rubber mats underneath the fridge in the past, to no avail, however he said the compressor is operating normally. Fast forward a week later, Derrick came back to install the part and our right door is back to normal. Believe me when I tell you to ask for someone else if youre assigned Russell. For him not to know the allowable dimensions for our refrigerator and not knowing that a part was missing from the door when it was obviously unaligned and not operating properly clearly shows that hes not knowledgeable enough to be allowed to properly service these units. He should be restricted to more training or shadow another tech before he wastes another persons time!

We explained the dryer was under warranty and he said he would take a look. He later showed up and took a listen to the dryer and said this is a common problem I will order the replacement part and return once arrived. Mind you, he never checked to see if the dryer was level? He shows back up a day or so later replaces the part and leaves. Two hours later the noise is worse than it was before he attempted repair. The service tech did not diagnose the issue and was about to leave without actually understanding what was wrong. The cold water stopped flowing through the brand new machine and he tried to tell us weve been using too much soap and that was the problem. he ran a hot cycle, which we told him worked and he said that he didnt see an issue. Prior to him leaving we insisted that he see a cold and rinse cycle to show him the issue with the cold water. He then said that a valve needed to be ordered and it would be a few days. We waited the few days and they said the part would be another week because it was back ordered. This is a brand ew washer, I dont understand how a part can be backordered nor do I understand why it isnt being expedited. A week later we have been trying to call and their phone number is disconnected. In the mean time we have been without a washer for over two weeks. We paid almost $1,000 for this washer, it is complexly unacceptable that this is not resolved. Furthermore I have spoke with Maytag twice since this has occurred and they are asking me to contact the service company. They do not seem interested to resolve the issue and have a satisfied customer. This has all been a significant disruption to my familys life and I plan to share my experience with other reviews for this washer, Maytag, and the service company.
