As a good guide I do visit different stores and look in to the problems that must customers mentioned. As of today 06-09-2021 the pricing issue has not been resolved. Ill check back in a few weeks and update my rating.

I have been going to this store from few years now, Meat used to be fresh and since last couple of times it was like dark and not fresh at all, informed to the store person same thing when I went next time, as soon as I said, he was so aggressive and started denying . It’s not at all a pleasant experience, I never wanted to go back to this store . Thanks for service.

I am probably not going to recommend this store to anyone as I had a pretty bad experience.1.Most item stacked in the stands were not having price mentioned. Stickers were torn off or purposely kept that way. What with asian stores and pricing. I am very close to report them all.2. I bought 30 dollars worth of snacks for the kids. Only frozen samosas and puff pastry were good. Mixture snack and boonthi were old and tasted bad.3. Generally prices are higher.Also they get spooked to see new customer LOL. Its a pandemic out there and everyone needs wear mask. If are scared dark skinned people you are probably not going to attract lot of asian customers.Good luck with their success. I wont be part of it.

I have recently moved to the Northern VA area not too long ago. I was looking for a quality and reasonable price halal meat store. Their meat is fresh and clean. Also, started to carry grocery items which is helpful so I no longer have to shop from two different places. Prices are relatively lower than others -- even nearby Lotte Plaza. Highly recommend for others to shop at this store.

They process your non-beef meat with beef productPlease avoid this place, if you want safe non beef product. They have only one pieces of all cutting tools and they use same machine over again and again without cleaning and changing globs gloves.I asked the owner about and he dont care about you. he replied yes we use same tools for all over. As of him, you need to be first customer if you want not mix meat product.I would have give him -ve score if google allows me!

I have tried many stores that sell halal meat in the NOVA area. This store by far is the cleanest. The meat and chicken are fresh and well priced. Staff is super friendly. They carry all the popular spices and freezer products as well. Only place we go now.

So happy to have you found this little gem of a store after struggling for years to locate a halal butcher who can cut meat right. They are easily the best butchers in NOVA and I say this after trying at least 10 different shops. Immaculately clean, hand cut meat, a plethora of desi groceries and exceptional customer service. They could stand to add some more variety to their groceries to make it a truly one stop shop.

I really like their beef, chicken and lamb. It took me years to find best halal meat in VA. Most halal meats were not fresh at other stores. Finally, I found this place. So many items don’t have prices. Even if they do, during the checkout, you will be surprised with different prices. I asked the cashier to check together the tag on the shelve. She said yes. You are right. But you know, prices get changes from time to time, seriously !! so why they only get changes at the register but not on the shelves?

I was a bit skeptical at first, but have tried all their meat cuts and poultry so I can safely say this is a great place to quality stuff. Sometimes they are out of stuff so you have to call ahead because the whole idea is to give fresh meat/poultry. Good store to have in the neighborhood. I havent tried the frozen items, and that should be limited anyways due to the high count of salt. But good place nonetheless.

Excellent halal store; super clean and fresh meat! I found the store through a friends reference and since then I fell in love with the store! The people running the store are very friendly and kind. Havent had this much delicious chicken and goat in years since I moved to the states.

I have been coming to this store for almost 9 months now. and today I was highly disappointed in their service. I called in last night and gave an order for organic chicken breast and I told them to kindly cut them in cubs. The person on the phone asked me in medium or small, and I told him small. Today when I went to pick up my order, it was whole chicken breast, when asked why they didnt cut it, the guy said oh dont worry he will do it. I told him I dont have time to wait, he rudely said then come back later, I told him I dont live close by I come all the way from Sterling. When asked who took my order last night he said I did, and I am like what did I request you to do, he his tone went up and said I dont remember. Hes like what is the big deal I will cut it, when I told him the big deal is I am getting late for work, rather than apologizing he said so what I work 3 jobs. I didnt know we were having a competition as to who has more jobs. Its not about that he forgot to do something I requested when placing the order, it is about to have regard for other person time, if made a mistake dont become rude and start arguing with your customer.

A great place to buy fresh meat, its well organized, super clean and the customer service is awesome. You can find all types of meat here, things that you havent even thought of chances are they have it. Moved to the area just recently and have been going to halal meat depot after checking out some of the other local markets.

I have recently started buying chicken here. It is always cleaned extremely well and if you want anything not on display you can also ask for it.

My husband sent me out to get meat and he is very strict on halal. Ive been unfortunately avoiding halal meat stores for years because in my experience they have been dirty, smelled horrid, and had pushy staff. So, I was very skeptical but went to halal meat depot based on the reviews and by seeing one of my trusted friends reviewing the place, too. I was pleasantly surprised! VERY clean, no bad smells, very friendly workers, and the best part----all the meat I was looking for cut just the way I like it! Prices are comparable to Harris Teeter and other supermarkets. This will be my go to store for meat and I will recommend to all my friends and family.

I work for Alpha Aire HVAC and service the A/C at this location. When I needed Fresh Baby Goat, I got it here. I was not disappointed at all. Very Fresh and it was cut up for me right there. I have already referred friends and they also like the place.Will shop here again.

Awesome place. Ordered some flanked beef ribs to make Korean BBQ Spare Ribs. No other halal market could get this for me. Only place to goto.

I want to give them a zero and have no choice but to give them a one. This place is not legit. They sold me a package of samosa’s that was full of mold. When I called them they claimed that it’s not them..it’s the company that packages the food, but the sticker with expiration date was conveniently removed. The owner started yelling on the phone as he explained that there’s no regulations for the food that they sell to be fresh or safe to eat. He claims that he works for FDA....lol. He needs to read regulations at 21 CFR 211. He’s lucky it’s Ramadan and that we are fasting so I forgive him but pls look for expiration dates for anything you buy from this store. I am on my way to return everything I purchased from them.

Got mutton chops when they were super busy over Eid weekend, though they were busy they helped me quickly. Meat quality was awesome best mutton i ate in my 2 years in US...... Definitely going to try chicken as well....

Hands down this is the best option for halal meet in NoVa. It’s rare to find a store that is commited to serving only hand slaughter, zabihah meat. They also have the option of antibiotic free chicken, custom orders, and have a solid overall knowledge of their products. Staff has always been friendly and helpful. This is now the only butcher I will go to and the only butcher I trust for hand slaughter, zabihah meat.

This might not be the best Halal market out there with the variety of Arabic food, but they definitely have the best Halal meat/chicken. They get it every Tuesday around 4 PM. The staff is friendly and the butcher became almost my friend.
