Absolutely the best crew of competent and friendly people. Richard, Ingrid, and Polly are a dream team for a landscape design firm. They provide ALL of our planting material for ALL of our projects. I highly recommend using them for all of your companies needs.
Never answer there phone. Never open. What kind of a business is this? Not open the public.
They have very good selection of trees and the quality is good as well. Timings are short and closed on week ends. Basically this place is more for contractors but less for regular customers I guess, because they close by 4 p.m when everyone is still working and yes they need to attend the calls and reply back as well which they dont.
Greenworks is the absolute best in the area!Due to Covid19, its presently contractors only on site, but still doing design & installations.
Very friendly team and outstanding customer service
Richard, the general manager was awesome. The workers there loaded a Crepe Myrtle tree and even took the time to secure it. Great customer service!
Called for topsoil for my garden and they state they are only open to contractors. Due to COVID. No reason given
As an arborist and businessman for the past 44 years I have developed an specific list of favorite trees. I have integrated with the landscape industry all the while, learning and appreciating the value and importance of the home landscape and at this point in my life, I am designing the landscape of my dreams (well maybe that’s a bit of embellishing-but suffice to say this is one that brings decades of observation and learning together), it’s important ok? I went to Greenworks and was amazed by the not only by the selection Of plants but by the quality of the selections. We found 2 Full Moon Japanese maples that we’re per for the location and even tho they were a bit overpriced we agreed to buy and even got a nice discount. When we were arranging for delivery, the owner came in. Now they were charging $175 to deliver the trees (a 20 mile round trip) and even though I thought that was borderline outrageous I thought the discount sort paid for delivery so ok, but the owner pipes up and says; “We have to send two people there to make the delivery so the charge is $250!” Of course I bristled at that, and if you knew me you’d say I can be bristley at times. So the owner and I had a few words, he was down right mean and pretty much a jerk about it so we left and Greenwood lost $1000 sale. We the went to Merrifield and found two Full Moon maples (100 dollars each cheaper and actually i thought they were nicer trees) and also bought a third tree. Delivery? $85, no matter how many or what size tree or trees we bought. Moral of the story, it’s a lot easier to lose a customer than it is to get one and if you’re a business owner then that customer should mean everything to you. Merrifield will benefit from years of business from a new and influential customer; Greenworks on the other hand will most likely be out of business in 5 years.Post script: Merrifield delivered the trees within 2 hours of our purchase, one guy, 15 minutes. I guess the know what their doing.
Rude on the phone, didnt seem interested in my business
One of the best plants supply on the area the only problem when I call nobody answer the phone and dont call back when I leave a message.
I had a great experience at Greenworks! As a professional landscape contractor the knowledgeable staff, great service and the high quality plant material will keep me coming back for years to come.
If I could put no stars at all that wouldve been awesome, I love Christmas time, but this year has been my worst Christmas ever, living close by, I decided to take a look at their Christmas tree and found out there was a sale ! I was so happy to find my perfect tree for only $44,50 !!! But this joy didnt last long until I tried to put the tree in the stand, and realized that the whole tree was crooked and couldnt stand up straight ! How couldve missed that ??? Well, their trees were hanging on some strings thats why! the woman who sold me this tree told me it was a 8ft tree and when I got home on the tag it said 10ft so I had to rush to Home Depot buy a new tree stand ! After 3 hours, and 10 calls to green works that never answered, I finally found a way to make it stand ! 2 days later, in the middle of the night, the tree fell off, scratched all my wall and I decided it to trash it! Unfortunately, the tree was too big so at 1am, my husband and I had to cut down the tree with a gardening scissor....Green works really dismissed to tell me that the tree was crooked .... thank you, woman of greenworks, thanks to you, my Christmas was ruined !
Great value, nice selection, and friendly people. What more could you want?
Very bad customer service. The lady was on the phone the entire time and didn’t bother to answer my questions or show around. Very rude.
