I do alot of business here because it is not crowded. It has a friendly atmosphere. Most things are easy to locate. Service no is friendly and hes.and price is reasonable

Outstanding fried chicken and chicken tenders in the deli--along with delicious sides--make this a great place to build a delicious Sunday dinner for takeout.

Excellent grocery store great quality meats and a variety of other food products.

Love the meat department. More like an old fashioned one were you can ask for a certain cut of meat. Store over all needs an update and remodel.

Manager & Assistant Managers are helpful. Sometimes the store has items not sold in other stores in town.

Im going to start driving to iola g&w foods its like a high school drama class in the 1 in chanute all they wanna talk about is who dating who and not worrying about there customer for Petes sake I had to scan my own milk to get the cashiers attention because she was wondering who the lady was texting very unprofessional unbelievable

I love G&W it has great service from its employees and great products among the fact that its styles after a traditional grocery store its great.

Its close I like the ones in Iowa and in the minutes better five for five better deals. And she knew what else choice we have besides Walmart

Nice little local grocery store. Great variety, good prices, friendly staff. They are more than helpful and ready to sack and carry your groceries!One side note - they sack your groceries and they actually expect to carry them out for you. They dont stand there and look at you until you either ask for help out or just do it yourself - like they do at Dillons. These employees have been trained properly and they take pride in their jobs. I have never had to stand and listen to the employees talk about last nights party while ignoring their customers. I cant remember the last time I havent done that at Dillons. Kudos to the employees and to the management at G&W!!!

Great store. If they have it, you can find it, unlike a certain larger chain, that keeps moving stuff around to the point even the employees dont know where stuff is!

This is a very nice store. They have restrooms right up front very easy to find. I love the frest produce section. It has a wonderful selection of fresh fruits and vegetables.

I love this local store. In house deli and butcher! Walmart cant say they have an inhouse butcher! Help support this local business! Dont let walmart run them out. If they do, I promise you will regret it! Been there done that in Independence!

It was good I went in for tomatoes and a watermelon. The attendant was nice and friendly.

I usually just go in for sale items being on a tight budget, but they often surprise me with deals not in the flyer. Prices a bit higher than Wal-Mart on many items but that gap is closing. Decent selection of products and staff is friendly and helpful.

Only place i can find kraut juice. Usually have good sales on meats. Good meats too, marbleing just right

Very clean place to shop..... The prices are a little high, but it is closer then going to Wal mart. This is the only place I will buy my meat. I really enjoy that when I bring my kids they can get a free fruit.

Was able to check out with a real person something I wasnt able to do the day before at Walmart the lines were five people deep and forced you to the self-checkouts are you had to wait 5 minutes to get an error fixed or scan for alcohol

They jacked up there prices and the employees are not doing there jobs the sackers never help and the checkers are always talking to the help not the customer

Very pricey on most things. Some of the employees are rude. And some are sweet.

They have very little in terms of virus safety and they treat their workers like garbage.

Fast and very friendly. Makes you feel like youre business is wanted.

I went shopping with my mother here, and the cashier we had checked out with was extremely rude. Most of the staff dont acknowledge your existence either. Only reason I dont give 1 star is because there is ONE cashier that makes my day when I see her.

I laid my food down on belt and they immediately put my groceries on another lanes belt when they were helping a customer in front of me that needed extra attention. Nice they didnt make me wait. Thank you!
