I came in to buy a pair of boots, wearing the boots that had fallen apart after one trip. The customer service person said that they have a satisfaction guarantee, so after choosing a new pair of boots, I told them about this pair falling apart and showed them the damage.She said something to the effect of she wasnt buying it.I wont buy there again. They lost me with a meaningless satisfaction guarantee. It would have been better to not have one at all.

Jim put a fishfinder on my kayak. It was very well done and he was incredibly nice and helpful throughout the whole process. Will definitely be going back for al future needs

The owner is very helpful and sincere and does everything he can to offer you honest advice. He will literally suggest to not buy a specific product if it honestly doesnt fit your use case. Thats a rare thing these days. Hes also incredibly experienced in fishing and outdoor activities, so he understands your needs better than most. I spent a lot of time researching online before randomly stopping in and was pleasantly surprised

This place is like shopping with a personal “ google or Alexa”. The people who work there either know everything you can ask them or they go get a cohort to help you.Their selection from a quantity score is good; it is great if you look at quality scores on their selection. They do not muddy up your selection process by having junk to pick from that is more cheaply priced. If you want good stuff at great prices, with a sales staff that can actually explain why you should or shouldn’t step up to a different model - GOPro is a great place to shop.

Yes, the prices are a little steep but they have great sales and you know that whatever you buy is going to last a VERY long time, plus youre supporting a local chain. I love shopping here - very fun. Bought an amazing north face backpack here and they had lots of colors to choose from. Wish they had a larger shoe selection. I love coming back! Love this place. Very friendly. Coming from the PNW, weve been trying to find our shop of choice. They have most of the good stuff and a great selection of guys clothes options in particular. When we first went in we were interested in learning about fly fishing in the area. One of the knowledgeable employees stood and talked with us and answered all our questions and told great stories. Their climbing section is a little under developed but maybe climbing isnt as big in the area.

My dad, brother and I go here to prep for the yearly fishing trip to the outer banks. They are very knowledgeable and professional. Worth the money when you know you are getting quality.

Its a really nice place and resource, almost any camping, hiking, fishing, or kyaking gadget you could think of. Knowledgeable staff with local expertise for the area. Good selection of local maps and trail guides. They probably have a way to repair or temporary fix anything you need.

Great customer service and prices

I buckle had broken on my baby carrier. I went to the shop and asked for a replacement. They were curtious and knowledgeable and found the right buckle for me. Then they fitted it. They spent about 10 minutes helping me and I spent $3.22, They did not try and sell me anything else or thrust promotions at me. I was really impressed by the service and I will head here if I need any more outdoor supplies.

Helpful staff, but theres a small selection, everythings full price and nothing goes on sale. If youd like lots of advice from friendly people, go here. If you know what you want or need something specific, you can probably get it cheaper elsewhere.

LOVE this store! They carry lots of camping gear & name brand clothes (like Padagonia). Very clean, interior is outdoorsy & 2 levels.

Traveling across country and came in with a critical roofbox problem. Staff fully listened to my problem and Chad came out to see problem. He proceeded to completely fix the problem with a level of craft and care that is so rare today. These people are wonderful and would love to have them as friends!
