I was surprised at how much I really liked their iced coffees. Starbucks was packed and understaffed as usual so I decided to try somewhere else and caribou is just as good if not better despite not having as many options. I did wait about 10-15 minutes for my two xl iced coffees but that is to be expected so close to/on campus.

Conveniently located near the University of North Carolina. The service and the coffee is exactly what you would expect from all coffee shops. Friendly service. Great coffee. Enjoy!

Great atmosphere and good coffee. Stopped in for a quick hot mocha. I had no issues with the staff, atmosphere, and coffee. But not being from the US I couldnt log into the WiFi since I didnt have a local phone carrier. It might have been possible but I didnt stay long enough to try and work through it.

Foods good but its super pricey. Not worth the price but still good.

I love their coffee. A lot better than Starbucks by a long shot. The apple fritters are warmed and delicious. The smoothies are good. Only problem: No Drive-thru. Other locations have a Drive-thru.

Unlike other coffee shops, Caribou Coffee has plenty of seating. They have a large outdoor patio area with plenty of seating as well. I got a large black coffee, it was good, and my colleague got an iced coffee. The location is convenient in Chapel Hill before you get to the downtown part where it gets too congested.

First time coming to a caribou coffee and I am in love .great staff. Not a lot of room as it was packed with U.N.C. students but it didnt bother me at all. I ordered a small frozen coffee which blew me away and was so good I am actually ordering a second one as I type this . Also ordered a maple syrup oatmeal and the lady behind the counter told me about a secret they do at the shop where the employee puts a pure cane sugar packet on to of the oatmeal. And my guest had a lemon poppyseed slice of bread and a maple syrup sausage bagel. All of it was amazing. Spent 20.00 and for everything we got you cant beat it. We will be back and soon

The coffee was pretty good, I ordered a cappuccino and I hate to be picky but the foam just wasn’t right. I may just be spoiled from my time in Australia. Food was good and the music was giving off the right vibes for a Sunday morning. I was satisfied and would go back.

All these years Ive been driving by this spot. I stopped by yesterday. What a lovely coffee shop. Not cramped at all. A good mix of different types of seating... loveseats, tall tables, regular tables. The coffee was fantastic, and the service was great and friendly. The baked goods looked yummy, but I didnt indulge. I feel like I discovered a gem.

The pastries at Caribou Coffee are really fresh and delicious. Won’t disappoint. The armchairs by the fireplace always look incredibly comfortable especially if one needs to relax after a walk on a cold winter day. Always have enjoyed a pleasant and relaxing experience at Caribou.

This place rules for a casual, warm atmosphere and a good study spot. Good coffee, good people, and overall a quality experience. Be mindful if you need a plug, there are some up high on the walls and in odd corners.

This coffee shop is good. The light is warm and bright. The decoration makes me feels like home. They do not have a variety of coffee and tea to choose from, but what they have in the menu are great. Also, they sell very tasty desserts. Nice place to study and hang out with friends!

Nice location for coffee that is convenient to a lot of different places on Franklin street. Parking can be a challenge here and unfortunately it gets very dusty and has lots of cobwebs in the corners. I pointed out some particularly large ones to the owner and he shrugged and said adds to the ambiance.

I come once a week, regularly meet with a niece and her mother. Service is great, staff is friendly; it is always full of happy customers. Coffee is delicious.

Caribou has a lot of the prerequisite demands that I require for a coffee house. First it must have a great tasting dark roast to offer. Second, I like to smell coffee when I walk through the door. Third, I dont like a lot of Q & A when I order my cup. Usually my ordering critique is right to the point. They also have plenty of free parking. Located at Franklin & Estes right at the bus stop for the D bus, the F, and the 400 to Durham. Great job guys....keep it up! Oh yeah, I saw a watering bowl for the pups outside.

I just had a most wonderful experience with my extended coffee family. I was offered a straw this morning, now this occurs every morning nothing new there, except that she explained that this was a earth 🌎 friendly straw, that I could wash and reuse! I come here all the time as I work remotely and the store is always clean, the baristas are incredibly friendly and kind, my drink is always right, and there’s always a place to sit. Wifi is fast and reliable! Parking is the only issue as it’s a popular place so sometimes it can be a challenge to find a spot!

The kind of places that taste great and gives you a little pizazz to start your day. Frappes in the summer are vital.

Great place, great stuff, used to be my favorite coffee shop, but not anymore. They sell medium roast coffee for outrageous price that really confuses me. When I ask them for regular coffee they say they are running some kind of special on medium roast for over $3 for a medium cup. They say that they have dark roast and decaf for regular price but I cant get my regular coffee for normal rate. Never confuse your customer, he will stop coming to your business.

The place was packed but the staff handled it well and kept everything moving smoothly. Decent coffee, nothing stellar or terrible. Staff was friendly and polite. Really, all in all a good coffee shop.

Best coffee shop Ive ever been to. The staff is spectacular and all of the drinks and snacks are delicious. Despite being part of a franchise this place is so special and homey.

Ive been to this place many times after moving to the triangle. It is consistently inconsistent. I find that Ive had great coffees and terrible coffees with the exact same order. The atmosphere is great though with WiFi, strong AC and lots of tables for working. Its a good coffee shop experience, assuming you dont care too much about the actual coffee.

Kit is awesome and always make people feel welcome. Definitely should not be considered a training Caribou as they didn’t even properly train me. I’ll go down the road to Starbucks or to the Briar Creek location.

Great drinks. Not so great service.Ive gone maybe 4 times now and obviously still have questions about the menu before I order a drink. I have had a different cashier every time and each one gets visibly and verbally frustrated when I ask whats the difference between a cooler and signature drink? The first time I wanted to know if it was coffee vs espresso. No theyre both coffee. okay. Today I asked what the difference between a caramel high rise and caramel cooler was. If I got a frozen caramel high rise would it be exactly the same as a caramel cooler? The cashier starts explaining to me what a northern light is and I had to be like I didnt ask about that drink. Idk if she might have been hard of hearing but she became very agitated. It seems pretty normal for cashiers here to not actually care about the people who come in.

This is my favorite coffee shop in the area for studying. There is a good mix of comfortable chairs and tables, the music is usually a nice background sound, the baristas are always quick and cheerful, and theres almost always somewhere open to sit. The only downside is the parking lot, which is small, but theres 10 min parking spots for if you need to run in and grab some coffee quick.

Husband usually comes here for some studying and so he wanted to show me around Chapel Hill a bit and stop by. Food was great but the coffee... honestly wasn’t very impressed. Upon walking in there’s a strange smell, like hot “too many people in here” smell. And the coffee, both times I’ve had it, had a powdery bad milk after taste. If I ever come here again it will just be for the food- to go.

Clean place, good staff, parking is dodgy at times, lots of uni students, little loud.It is good coffee in a university town, which means students... LOTS of students. When you can find those odd times when they are not mobbing the store you can enjoy 2-3 hours of relaxation.

If you like caribou this place will not disappoint. staff is friendly, place is comfortable. just be aware that you often will not find parking, and if you do, your choice of seats inside may be limited.

One of the bad dark chocolate mocha that I have had. The one on Maynard makes the best dark chocolate mocha and close second is Brier Creek. Staff are courteous.

Quaint, quiet, pleasant. Compared to Starbucks coffee, Caribou has pleasant all around ambience and acceptable, quick brews as opposed to the formers absolutely monochromatic dark brew. Nice sides as well, pleasant pastries and nice chairs. Will certainly come again.

A local hangout for Chapel Hillers but far enough from the college to avoid the college coffee shop cliché. Excellent coffee choices and breakfast treats that range from baked goods to egg white sandwiches. In the summer their chillier drinks shine, while in the fall and winter a welcoming heat will keep you going through your day
