Terrace Oaks was one of my favorite places to explore while in Charleston. So many booths with interesting things for sale. I couldve spent hours (wish I did) on the first floor. Finding out there was a second floor was a great treat! Definitely something for everyone...just have to take the time to look.
Pretty store… lots of great things… definitely worth coming and shopping!
Quaint little antique mall. We didnt find much but love looking. The little lady at the front was the sweetest person and made the visit all the more pleasing.
I spent way more time in here looking around than I thought I would! Lots of stuff to look at. Prices vary from dealer to dealer, it is a little on the higher end in general but there is some cheap stuff and some cute items and most things I looked at were reasonable for what they were (not a bargain, but a fair price). I bought a few things and would stop back if Im in the area.
To all collectors this was a great store to visit the staff was very helpful and very nice and presentation was outstanding so many rooms to look through
Fun place to browse, multi level showroom.Past and present purchases are treasures. Helpful staff if you dont see it,they will find it for you.
The employees at the front desk were so so sweet and there was so many amazing things to look at
A wonderful store, with lots of great stuff and reasonable prices. By far the best place to browse for antiques in the Charleston area! I am very happy with my purchases.
Fun antique mall with a wide variety of times. I did not bring my purse in due to some of the other reviews about needing to put it in a locker. All the staff was friendly to me and my husband. There was an adorable King Charles spaniel working hard being cute at the front desk. Would go back.
A great variety. Lots of fun.
Very fun antique mall! Great size and plenty to browse. Fair prices and lovely staff!
Best Antique Mall in Charleston! Employees are friendly and will help you if you ask! I love that no one is overbearing or pushy. I have found some of the best gifts here, great variety and some of the vendors will toggle in price with you.
This place is a pretty decent size antique mall. There are several booth areas, and there is even an upstairs. I think their items are more high class here. Most of the items were more expensive then your normal antique mall. There were a ton of silver items! There were a lot of look alike items throughout the store. If you are really into collecting antiques its worth going here if you have some extra money into it. But if youre looking for cheaper priced items then this really isnt the best place for it. I personally wont be back, just because of our preference of antiques. But I do suggest you check it out once!
Excellent store with many tempting treasures. The ladies that work there are so friendly. We will always visit when we are in the area.
Very nice store
Love their selection- sensory overload for sure. Plan to go back when I have more time to browse. Looking for specific item at the time
Clean, good, big choice. The owners did a great job to systematize stuff. Priced but anyway nice
Great selection of antiques
Nice Antique store. Always interesting things to look at
Old junk antique store. Nothing for me there.
Very nice store with lots of variety. Great selection of local pieces as well.
Lots of antiques in the smorgasbord of everything else. Nice friendly helpful staff. Its a lot larger on the inside than it looks from the outside. Go check it out.
Lovely place w great service.
Very nicely set up. Good selection and the sales people are so nice and helpful. We would recommend the Antique Mall as a site to checkout for those discerning shoppers.
Wonderful place to shop for antiques. Very friendly ladies that oversee the store. Purchased some antique tools to add to my collection. You have to go here, its a wonderful shopping experience....
This place is 3 times bigger on the inside then it looks like from the outside especially being a 1 1/2 story building. Lots of different vendors selling an eclectic selection of items to satisfy all different interest. Their staff is extremely friendly and offer free cookies/lemonade when you come in. Also their big bag/purse policy is more than fair for security along with making sure they keep track of customer inside the store. Most of the time they are following you to make sure your doing okay and to see if they can help hold onto anything for you at the counter to keep your hands free to explore more items with.
Lots of trinkets and dishes. I was looking for a chandelier (they have a few nice ones) and paintings (not many). I didnt take a purse in (they have a locker for purses) and wasnt wearing baggy clothing, but I was in a far room looking at a small sculpture and one of the ladies came rushing all the way into this farthest room and started messing with a drawer on a small box. Weird. Lets just say she is not going to win an Oscar for that acting. It just seemed odd. Not sure its worth a second visit. Unwelcoming.
Lovely!! Bountiful and quality pieces, including exceptional jewelry. Will definitely be on my go to list.
I felt uncomfortable, I was followed throughout the store by one of the women working. I felt as if she thought I was going to steal something. My sister was with me and she said the same thing. I did not want to buy anything, but my sister found some cool coasters, she was hesitant to buy however she did.
Amazing place. We literally spent over four hours there. Super helpful ladies at the front counter. Use one of the handy peices of paper and pens on the wall to. Jot down your fave items and booth location... Especially if you need a case opened. Go shop!!
One of the best antique malls in Charleston. They have a huge variety of items, from jewelry and glassware to collectibles, antique books, furniture, and more, and the prices are reasonable. Its always fun to explore and see what youll find! The staff are really friendly, too - they usually have cookies and coffee out for guests.
Very nice especially if youre interested in Victorian decor
Reminds me of my home after mom died.
Nice shop lots to see and very unique
Staff unfriendly and aloof
This was a really fun store with a wide selection of items. Found a few treasures. Definitely will visit again!!
Excellent customer service great staff very friendly lots of interesting fines upstairs has a lot of great stuff that people don’t usually see make sure you go upstairs also if you visit Terrace Oaks. The people there are very nice kind and honest lots of 15 things at very reasonable prices.
So much ish
Amazing place. Hours worth of browsing! Everything you can imagine.
A lot to look at, but very expensive! Person at register was not that friendly
I shop there all the time. They carry a wide variety of vintage and antique jewelry, clothing, books, military, collectables, household items, and furniture. Its a mall. so the prices will vary, but I find most of the prices to be reasonable. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
Always a pleasure with the ladies and you can always find amazing and beautiful and Interesting things. Our favourite date day place!!
Old stuff is neat to see and appreciate.
Very Nice, wife loved it, left me in the car not to annoy her
HUGE store. So much to look at. Interesting and varied inventory. If you bring your purse into the store they ask you to lock it up in a locker.
A great selection of a lot of reasonably priced vintage odds ands ends and wonderful little jewelry treasures. However, let me say that one of the vendors lost a sale a little under $1000 because of how he made my husband and me feel. My husband was looking at a vintage chest of drawers with inside drawers featuring birds eye maple. He is a wood worker and had was impressed with the piece and was investigating the drawers, inside them and such, gently I might add. My husband walked over to me to discuss purchasing the piece. Soon as my husband walked away, this older man rushed up to the chest and start investigating it as if he thought my husband might have damaged it. We felt extremely insulted and just left not purchasing anything when we were about to purchase that chest and an additional desk.
A hidden gem - great antique finds here, if you have the patience to make it through. Its bigger than it looks
This is one of my favorite antiques malls. Very friendly and helpful. Some booths more well priced than others, as is usual. Be sure to check out David Rosss booth. He always has great stuff. Outstanding inventory of silver, china, jewelry, and Chinese mud men...plus attactive objets. You wont want to leave!
We love Terrace Oaks. Can always find something, especially the things you didnt even know you needed :) and the ladies are very friendly and helpful, never rushing you out.
There is a reason Terrace Oaks Antiques continues to be voted #1 in Charleston...it is simply the BEST!A WONDERFUL ANTIQUE STORE filled with real antiques, not the chinese reproductions and giftware you see at most stores that call themselves antique shops now. From beautiful antique jewelry, to fine sterling silver flatware and hollowware, to rugs, furniture, fashion, militaria, Majolica, crystal and more, everyone can find a treasure! The staff is warm, friendly and knowledgeable and above all very honest in their dealings. You will be greeted at the door with an invitation to partake in fresh, hot coffee or ice cold lemonade along with some cookies or a piece of candy.Make sure to put Terrace Oaks on your list for your next visit to Charleston. If you live local or are an interior decorator, make sure to pop in, you wont be disappointed!
This place is awesome, but you need DAYS to look at all of the stuff!
One of the best antique stores in the charleston area. My wife and I love going in to see all the new things.
Cant wait to visit when we come back to Charleston every summer. Love this shop❤️
Wonderful antiques. I love this place. Some vendors are expensive. A variety of items.
Friendly staff, organized displays, large selection.
Little antique shop they have many interesting things
A real favorite place to go and shop.
Amazing spot for some pretty cool finds
This is the best place in Charleston for beautiful antiques. The selection is huge...I could spend the whole day there and not see everything!
Clean Great variety
Lots of variety. Good way to spend an afternoon
Huge place! Really enjoyed this stop on our vacation.
Large space with lots of interesting antiques.
Great place; great people. Bigger inside than expected.
Neat stuff but pricey
Some very nice things and helpful staff
Outstanding employees a must placeto visit
Lots of gorgeous stuff to look at
Nice folks, nices items
Wide selection with lots of treasure to select, great staff !
Typical fare, apparently very proud of their wares, judging by the pricing, new antique/repurposing store just North of the Terrace, take time to swing through there also.
Lots of beautiful things but I felt it was overpriced. The antique shops in the north are cheaper.
Walked in and was immediately told to lock our purses in a locker. So, we immediately walked right back out. The store is losing business, because not everyone is a thief. It’s rude to give people a title as being thieves just because one bad apple stole something in the store. Don’t classify everyone that comes in the store as being thieves.
This place had an amazing selection of vinyl records
If you dont find anything, you werent looking. Friendly staff. Tip, park to the right side of the building. Youll thank me when you leave.
Nice helpful staff and decent selection.
Excellent customer service.
Very well stocked. Impressive.
Great place
Best in town
Over priced. Nicely set up
Clean store with nice antiques.
Beautiful items, many many items. But way overpriced on most items.
Such a great place to shop!
Terrible shop. They insist you leave your purse at the door? Thats insulting and tacky.
Items for every interest. Friendly staff! Will return again.
Prices are a bit insulting
The staff were so rude following us everywhere thinking we were going to steal something. They also said secretly that we should not be walking around unattended and that because we were asian we should not be trusted. So offended. Never coming back
Friendly staff and cool stuff.
Soooo much to see - antiques and collectibles - prices vary from thousands to a few dollars.
Great way to spend a few hours!!!
Not too bad a spot
Our favorite antique store in the Charleston area.
It was ok. Lots of items, but priced a little high for what I was looking for.
Great place to visit
They display a large quantity of quality antiques.
Good mix of antiques
Overpriced
Lots of estate antiques
Very nice
