Just picked up a new X3. Fantastic experience. We were fortunate to have Teresa as our salesperson - she was friendly, honest, knowledgeable, and very helpful. The pickup went very smoothly. We have purchased a number of cars from Rick Hendrick BMW over the years and the experience continues to be superb. We took delivery of our new X5 last week. We love the car. Our Client Adviser, Tom Heater, helped us spec it out perfectly. Tom knows the car and every option intimately which made the process a pleasure. He kept us posted on the status of the assembly process and when to expect delivery. In addition to Tom, the genius who helped us set up all the feature choices on the car at delivery was excellent.

Great service. Took my BMW i3 in for regular maintenance. They accommodated my availability. Even took me when I showed up 30 minutes too early. Great customer service and very pleasant waiting room. Best car service I have had. Really appreciated the audio message we received directly from the mechanic who echoed all the details and checkups on my car which the person at the desk already did in person. I had a really great experience with Patrick Hartman at Rick Hendrick BMW in Charleston, SC.I’m located in Dallas, TX and had been searching online for a while for a 2004-2006 e46 convertible and stumbled across one that just arrived on the lot at Hendricks.We did some back-and-forth on financing, but overall the dealership was very accommodating and BMW financial was willing to finance a portion of the car even with it being a 17 year old vehicle (this is always situation-specific).Patrick was on point with getting paperwork out to me in time and staying in constant communication by email/text/phone. The remote buying process was also great because I was able to go about my normal life without having to specifically be in a dealership sitting and waiting - I would absolutely do this again when the time comes.When everything had been signed and sealed I flew out to Charleston and they had the car gassed, shined, and ready for me to drive back to Texas! Within minutes of arriving Patrick showed me to the car and did a walk-around and I was on my way.The dealership did a few mechanical repairs to the car without me having to even ask that pop up frequently on this model so I don’t have to worry about that for the near future. I was very appreciative of this as it’s never fun to get a new thing and then immediately have to send it to a shop for repairs!I would recommend anyone willing to go the distance for a vehicle to check out any of the Hendrick dealerships as I have had multiple good experiences with them now and particularly Patrick Hartman at Rick Hendrick BMW in Charleston if you are in the market for a BMW/Mini/etc - they’ll take great care of you!

I don’t usually write reviews, but Keaton Adams should be recognized for excellent customer service. We were a 2 hour drive away, so I didn’t expect it to be easy, but he was there to answer questions by phone and made it a good experience when we arrived because he took the time needed, without pressure. The price negotiation was simple. Sales Manager, Jim Parnell, is a straight shooter. He and Keaton made sure our needs were met and every commitment was fulfilled. I recommend Keaton if you’re in the market for a great car. He’s passionate about his work and knows his cars.

I just herd an awful story from my own father. Rick Hendrick’s sale department not only put their own greed in-front of my my fathers interest, by over selling options on a car and lying about them to his face. They told him he needed to purchase the m-sport package in order to have the AWD option, absolute JOKE! On top of that he requested delivery at the BMW factory, an opportunity of a lifetime, and they FORGOT to put that in the order. The car showed up at the dealership, and he took it reluctantly. I’m speaking up for him, and hope they see that their poor reputation has reached far beyond Charleston SC. DO NOT BUY YOUR CAR HERE!

They periodically checked in with me which was the perfect amount of communication. Here we are 3 months later.....The minute I saw this car posted on the website, I rushed to the dealership. I was greeted by Seth and Steve along with the other friendly staff at Rick Hendrick BMW. This is the BEST place to purchase a BMW. Make sure you see Seth because he will make it happen for you!
So very, very pleased with the purchase we made. Keaton was exceptionally patient with my trove of endless questions (to the point that I started to sound like a secret shopper) and he nailed the answer each and every time. I know that because I half knew the answers to the questions I was asking having researched the car for 2 years. The whole experience from the staff was warm and welcoming. Andrew was also fantastic. And the whole experience was completely laid back, but not in a way that would lead me to believe they thought I couldn’t afford the car! Buying a used car is always stressful. This is my 2nd car with Hendrick BMW-CharlestonThe level of professionalism and attention to detail is what sets this group above the rest. I had a specific color, year and model I was looking for. They accessed their vast inventory to accommodate model and price point. Keaton Adams in sales is laid back. No pressure and just a solid guy. He helped me navigate the process including having a vehicle brought in from out of state. He’s fantastic. Jim Story who manages the group helped me with a small issue and it was addressed within hours. After returning to pick up my vehicle Keaton had the car filled back up with gas after I had driven the car. I will only go to these guys for a used beemer. Period.
Excellent service. My service representative made sure that I received the final year of my included service, as I was in the final month of the period. She gave me her direct contact number and communicated clearly with me. I reduced my rating to 4 stars because service and sales are in temporary quarters (their main office is being renovated). The yearly regular maintenance service took overnight, likely because of the crowding in the shop.

I had an excellent experience ordering mynew X5 from Teresa Troutman at Hendricks BMW. TheOrdering process was seamless and my X5 came in quickly. I’ve always enjoyed my experiences with this dealership and feel they are very customer service oriented. When I arrived to shop I was immediately greeted by staff at the front desk and offered refreshments. I was able to meetWith Teresa quickly and she had two SAVs available for me to look at and test drive. In addition after getting delivery I met with the finance manager, BMW genius and sales manager. All made me feel like a valued customer. I have had the pleasure of working with the service department in the past and find them first rate. Amy who handles loaner vehicles is a joy to work with! Her helpful demeanor and efficient handling of the loaner fleet is simply exemplary. She recommended Teresa as a salesperson to me and I am am certainly grateful for this, I couldn’t ask for a better working relationship. The service rep was phenomenal. Great communications and totally professional. Loaner car was clean and ready as needed. Frustrated that the grill louvers were defective but Hendrick did a great job servicing me.

The service at RH BMW was standard at best and no different than the service you would receive at any other dealership. I know this is a BMW attitude thing, but when you pay for a luxury item you should be entitled to top notch customer service that stands above the rest. You dont get that experience at RH BMW, its setup to take your money, but they care less about customer service. In addition and more importantly, the employees are unable to offer any flexible service options, they are weighed down by RH policies that are outdated and involve nickel/diming the customer. They just spent a lot of money updating the BMW service area but clearly forgot about the importance to improve customer service. Yeah, they are the only BMW dealership in Charleston area, but with unremarkable customer service its only a matter of time before competition arrives to take advantage of this tremendous let down by RH BMW. The message: RH BMW step up your customer service game before you find yourself looking at the competition passing you by like you were riding a horse and buggy.

Kirk and his team were amazing!! Our family was on vacation and planned to leave Saturday. Friday my battery died and it was one of the hottest days in Charleston, SC! He noticed I needed help as soon as I walked in the door. He dropped what he was doing and worked with his team to get a battery and get it installed. Terry Troutman was very helpful in taking our car in and helping us find a hotel for the night and suggested a place to eat within walking distance of the hotel. They got us in for service first thing the next morning and Nicole kept us well up to date on the status of of BMW and all estimates. I lost my extra fob and took my car to Rick Hendrick BMW for a new one. All they had to do is coordinate with my warranty and submit the invoice to them. The warranty sent three invoices and never got a response back. This has been going on for over a year. My husband and I called multiple times, the manager was supposed to call back, he never did. My husband even went there, he was promised everything will be done and again nothing . I have never ever had an experience with such a horrible customer service and management. I would never ever consider purchasing a car or taking my car there.
Dustin and Amy were great! Dropped the car off for warranty service and got a loaner so I wouldnt be stranded, and it was all seamless. Fantastic experience.
Keaton was extremely helpful in finding the exact car I wanted which is difficult in the current market. He made the entire process seamless and efficient. Very happy with the customer service and level of attention throughout the buying process.

Great experience with Hendrick BMW thanks to our client representative Luke Brown. We visited several dealerships to find the right auto for our needs and this was the best experience. No high pressure - Luke took us for a test drive and explained the functions of the auto. Luke took time with us to go over everything in detail. Luke also set us up with an appointment with a BMW genius who provided us with additional important information on our car. In 30 years I’ve never had a good experience with a dealership service department. This is the first time not only was the service rep great to work with, explained everything, scheduled my next appointment, arranged another service to be done at the same time. The mechanic did a very thorough inspection that was recorded and sent to me. It was awesome to see and have what I was seeing explained in detail. Well done Hendrick BMW.

I get my BMW serviced at Rick Hendrick BMW and always call Nicole Floegel who is the best Service Advisor ever! She is always responsive to my inquiries whether they be by text or email. I feel as though we are more friends that business acquaintances. She is a true asset to the Rick Hendrick BMW family!

Suffice it to say that I normally dont take the time to leave a review on a place, much less a car dealership -- That said, I wouldnt buy a grilled cheese sandwich from this dumpster fire of a dealership and I feel sorry for any other BMW owner who has to service their vehicle here. Im switching to a new automobile brand for my new car after the horrendous service experience that I have had with these people.

I was super impressed with my experience at Rick Hendrick BMW Charleston. I worked with James Kerr in getting into a new car. He assisted me in working through many options to make the best choice for myself, and landed on one I had not thought of previously that gave me everything I was looking for. Had routine annual check for my 2013 BMW 320i. Waited. Even with Hendrick BMW in temporary quarters while showroom/service building is upgraded and renovated, service was quick and thorough. Hendrick BMW is the best. Dustin Johnson was my service representative.

Went to see Tom Heater to look at some vehicles. Didnt see anything at the time, but he kept up with us and the type of car we liked until 1 came in that was perfect for us. He called us and worked some magic until we could come in and sign the paperwork. We loved the very first deal he handed us and they took great care of us. The service department at Hendrick BMW is excellent form the greeter to the delivery of your vehicle at the end of the process. Sadly the same cant be said about the sales department.
