This is a fabulous little saulmeria! Great for cheese wine cured meats and fresh French baguettes. They even make day sandwiches that are simply grab and go! Simply outstanding cheese shop. The staff are very knowledgeable, also they sell some very interesting wines by the bottle and top end charcuterie. Also visit Goat, Sheep, Cow North, on upper Meeting St. just above the Crosstown where you can sit for a meal in a beautiful setting.

Amazing Wedding Brunch: My daughter was getting married in Nov. 2018 & we decided to have a Ladies Brunch. We ordered some wine, cheese & charcuterie board and the crack cheese- all of which are amazing. We all then ordered from the menu. Wonderful food, great staff and the party was unforgettable. This place has two locations that are different. The location on Meeting Street is a full restaurant with a menu featuring their cheeses and a bar. THIS location is the original, so its just a tiny cheese shop. They have a daily sandwich in the morning, but the other location has everything this location has and more. Maybe thats obvious to other people but it wasnt obvious to me. If youre just visiting, Id recommend the other location because the food is delicious there.

Food usually makes up for the pretentious and underwhelming service. Today it did not.

Colin was excellent, walked us the varieties and opened our taste buds with other flavors. We showed up just before closing yet Colin was patient and friendly. We never felt rushed.

Tucked away in a great part of town. This shop has a great sandwich of the day that you will find (limited quantity per day). In addition, they have an amazing selection of wine, cheese, and meats. Nice atmosphere and great staff add to the experience.

Adding my “plus 1” for this excellent cheese, pâté, wine and (sometimes) sandwich shop. Get your sandwich early because when they’re gone they’re gone. Knowledgeable cheese service. Minus a reluctant star for value; they’re good but they ain’t cheap. Last time I was there a sandwich using their own meats and cheese was about $10. They have always allowed me sample the cheeses, though other accounts here differ.No eating in the store.

Goat Sheep Cow is awesome. A favorite spot of my cheese-loving family after touring the city. Knowledgeable and generous with their time and samples!

Did not feel welcome at all. My wife and I were given the impression that the staff was not there to help us. They said that sampling is not done at this shop unless we set up our own event - very disappointed after hearing great things.

Fabulous specially cheeses!

Very nice and tasteful cheeses, wide variety ( also of sausages). Bit expensive ( from European perpsective) . Serves sandwiches as well, if available. Minor: eventhough bread and cheese are available they wont combine it for you. You have to buy the bread and cheese and make it into a sandwich yourself. I dont see why.

The diverse selection and amazing prices make this sleeper shop almost a destination on its own. Well worth seeking out just for samples alone!

My boyfriend tried to surprise me with a sandwich for here today. He called and reserved it then went to pick it up. He arrived at the Meeting St location first. The people there were rude, unhelpful and made it seem he was seriously inconveniencing them by being there. They could not tell him where the other location was beyond it was on Church St. The whole staff acted like a bunch of stuck up, entitled prudes. The staff at the Church St location was better by comparison, but still lacked any hospitality. When he got the $10 sandwich, it looked nothing like the pictures advertised on social media. This was one of the worst food and beverage experiences we have ever had. I would not recommend going unless youre a fan of being treated as though you are beneath the staff assisting you.

We love stopping into Goat. Sheep. Cow. for a freshly made sandwich for lunch, or a loaf of bread and specialty cheese to enjoy at our office meetings!
