Dr. Donovan is great, as well as the rest of the staff! She does a great job with the exam, is super friendly, and happily answers any and all questions I have. The office is always clean. Making an appointment must usually be done in advance (we usually get scheduled about 3 weeks out), but I don’t mind that. It’s worth it!

She made sure that I had the best fit possible for my contacts, and answered all of my questions. She is extremely knowledgeable, and explained everything in a way that I understood. The doctor was amazing, but the girl at the front desk was very rude, as a first time guest there her attitude was enough to turn me away. I haven’t decided if I will return or not.

The staff was professional and pleasant since from the phone call to my appointment departure. They kept the place immaculately clean and made to sure to check in with me because it was a busy morning. They also seemed to be in good spirits, I really appreciate that. KUDOS to the West Ashley Pearle Vision staff for keeping attitudes high and professional while having to take on additional levels of safety precautions.

The administrative staff goes out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and your questions and concerns are addressed. There is no wasted time - your appointment is for a specific time, you are seen at that time. Dr.Donovan is a caring doctor who takes her time to get to know you and makes sure you understand what is happening. I highly recommend her and her team for your eye care! Well done!!

Dr. Donovan and the staff at Pearl Vision are so congenial and friendly.

Very professional, courteous, friendly staff from the receptionist, to the assistant who took me through the pre-exam routine, to the optician who helped me select and fit my glasses. Dr. Donovan is terrific; suggested a change to an entirely different type of contact lens from what I had been wearing which seems to be working well for me after just a few days of accommodating to them. Would highly recommend.

Dr. Donovan is quite proficient at fitting contact lenses. As one who much prefers the multi-focal lens, she actually listened to me before going straight to the perfect prescription! She completely understood me when I explained various problems with my previous contacts. My daily routine involves constant change of focus between computer, walking, driving, and television. I could not be happier. Its a bit of a drive from downtown, however the experience is well worth it.

Doctor was extremely short and rude the first visit. The second visit i arrived 6 minutes late exactly 1:56 PM and they lied and told me the appt was at 145 when it was 150 originally. They then told me they needed to reschedule when i had driven all the way from Johns Island. If youre looking for an eye doctor and/or new to Charleston, find another.
