Excellent services. I have worked with them for the last 4 or 5 years for all our glass replacement services. Our company maintains a number of larger condominium properties on or near golf courses, so broken windows are a regular occurrence. They are on time, very professional, maintain good communication, and keep a neat professional work site. I would highly recommend them

The estimator came on time, evaluated the 3 selected windows and observed one more while here. And gave an estimate on the spot. The installers worked very efficiently and did an excellent thorough job. All were very pleasant, courteous and professional. Very pleased with the result.

Update: Added a star as the manager cut the price and acknowledged it could have been done better.Very poor experience from start to finish. First, no one told us that the mirror and frame would be separate. Second, upon ordering, they never told us that the frame was back ordered. Took 3 months to receive it. Also had to measure twice. Finally, install was a cluster. Frame was brought to our house unassembled. Workers hastily assembled and left gaps. Dinged one corner. Frame is coated MDF. Very cheaply made. Erik came to our house the following week and tried to blame the poor fitment on the manufacturer. Later, he admitted his crew was at fault. In the end we decided to cut our losses and hire a professional company to build us a mirror.

Great efficient friendly service. These guys know what they are doing. I had 2 other glass window repair companies who said my large picture window glass could not be replaced because it was enclosed in a wood frame. Guru guys came and said, no problem, we can replace the glass and they DID. And it looks perfect. Thankyou guru glass. I will always use you for any glass replacement or repair!!!

They had the parts (seals) in stock and reasonably priced. Knowledgeable staff as well as very welcoming. It was a pleasure going to this business. I would highly recommend this business for glass, shower glass doors and parts and mirrors.

They were very friendly and accommodating. We miss-measured our glass by 1; luckily it was too long, and they recut it for us at no charge.They helped carry it to my car and found cardboard to cushion it for me also.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE customer service and product. I would avoid this company at all costs.I have another contractor on the job. He is unable to install the glass you delivered because you did not properly notch or drill holes for the installation brackets while cutting the glass. That is when I called you to inquire about this and was told I should have known this and I did not instruct you to do these steps. Now, if I want to use this glass I am forced to use a totally different installation track method.You are the glass company-I am a customer. Female, at that, with no knowledge of the steps required to cut a piece of glass for installation. You did not have my best interest in mind when you knowingly sold me a piece of glass that my contractor would not be able to install.That is called ETHICS and you have none.

The original vendor for our life long windows went out of business/sold it to an organization in Pittsburgh. We have had to replace half ours due to fogging, broken balances, etc. Since installation it has not been a good long-term investment! The Glass Guru has been our go to for a number of years, bailing us out each & everytime. The staff is professional, arrived with correct tools, parts and most important, skills to accomplish all repairs efficiently at a reasonable cost. We have no illusion re: our investment has been wise, but one we can live with thanks to The Glass Garu staff.

Called to get a quote. Receptionist is unpleasant and nasty . Customer service skills are terrible.Response to reply : Very much spoke to a woman who replied with my request of a pivot glass shower door “ Yea don’t know what you’re talking about “. She told me that you have to come out to my location to give me a quote and I declined because I am looking for a rough quote and on a strict timeline to move forward with purchase . Your customer service rep is extremely passive aggressive and needs more training .

The Glass Guru has done a fantastic job installing five sets of shower doors and replacing about 15 cracked windows for me. They offer frameless doors, sliders, those with headers and more.

While the team that installs the glass is very good, the front office isnt. My project (one large window) wasnt managed properly. What should have been a quick, two week project took over TWO MONTHS. If youre not a huge contract, dont bother

I had a professional experience with Glass Guru. They were able to give me a quote for foggy glass replacement as well as repair on several of my Anderson windows. It was completed in a timely manner. Communication was excellent with Tami and Bill the technician was informative about the process. The Glass Guru was able to schedule an appointment much quicker than any other glass replacement company in Charleston. I would highly recommend this company!

I needed a window to be repaired and I got excellent service. Glass Guru was very professional in explaining the work needed, potential cost and any issues with regard to my window. The technician, Jay, actually saved me some money by using some ingenuity and working around a cabinet that made the repair challenging. The team of Eric, Tammy and Jay made my experience very pleasant and painless.

The worst experience ever! We ordered 2 round glass tops for tables and they could not get it right 3 times! We had to return the wrong tips 3 times and, if course pick them up! During this time, we also had them replace 2 door glass inserts. The man came out, removed the glass and measured them. After a month of waiting we called wondering where our inserts were and they, apparently, misplaced the order. They came out later to install and the inserts were cut too thick so they had to send back. After weeks we got a call to have them installed and the next day they canceled because only one insert was in and they scheduled install for the following weekNo one notified the installer and he came out to install but were not home. He came the following week and properly installed the door glass. We owed a balance and went to the office to pay and was given an invoice for $239.81 but, later when we looked at our checking account, was charged over $400. We called and was told we had 2 outstanding balances, even though we were given the invoice for only one! This is unethical and the whole process was awful! Use another glass company for your peace of mind.

I was referred to Glass Guru company by a friend who had there windows replaced and they did not disappoint. My wife and I wanted framless shower door for our new renovated bath. It came out awesome. Erik and his crew were a pleasure to deal with. They provided quality work, showed up on time, and cleaned up after their work. Will hire again!

Very disappointed in this company. The estimator did not figure out that the entire frame of the window was beyond repair and he ordered just a pane of glass. When asked, he said to just plant flowers in front to cover it up. I had to use another company. Glass Guru charged me for the pane of glass anyway and would not cancel the order. Very unprofessional.

We were in the middle of Roof Repair and unexpectedly found a rotted out window needing repaired. After several call and quotes we ended going with a quality service. Thanks Glass Guru! Everything went smoothly & we learned to never go with the cheapest service. Got estimate to replace two panes of glass. Asked if that included both windows and labor and was told yes, BUT WAS NOT TOLD that also included a $100 trip charge out to Johns Island. Was just given total cost estimate. When I received final itemised bill, I immediately emailed the office but was told “trip charge stands.” As many others have commented, the office staff is not helpful and if you have a problem with anything, you will be stuck dealing with them and I wouldn’t recommend it. If you live on Johns Island, Kiawah or Seabrook do not use unless you are happy to pay $100 for them to make the trip! Labor costs and trip charge turned out to be twice as expensive as actual window panes.

Awful customer service! I would never recommend or use them again. They came out to fix our windows and they said it would be 600 for the clips and balances and gave a 300 deposit. When the guy came to fix the windows he said he was a few clips short and would have the office call me tomorrow and schedule the other ones. 3 days go by and no one called so I called the office they said they would call me back in 2 days when the parts come in. I called the next week and still the parts haven’t came in. It took over a month for them to call me back to schedule that the parts came in. So he came out two weeks later and he had 4 balances to put in took about 10 mins. He gives me wife the bill it’s over 1,000 dollars!!! So when I called and talked to the office manager and asked how it was so much more she said we don’t work for free do you think we were coming back and work for free. No one ever called me to tell me it was going to be more especially double the original price!! So the original guy miss counted the pieces and he needed to order more I had to pay for their mistake for double the labor! They put in 14 pieces the first time 4 the second time but the labor price was the same. Then the office manager said she would wave the second labor and I’ll just pay the parts I was fine with that. Then she said never mind I can’t let the money go I’ll take 150 off the Labor. They scammed me! I over paid big time and the office manager was extremely rude and unprofessional! And she said she would email the invoice since I paid over the phone 3 days ago and still haven’t gotten a invoice!

I knew very little about windows and costs but Erik explained what exactly needed to be replaced and the costs involved. Within a few weeks, the Guru team arrived with all my windows and replaced them all in one day. I was worried they would leave a mess, but everything was cleaned up and I had beautiful windows to enjoy. These people are terrible. I was told 2 different stories from 2 of their people. the guy that showed up told me he doesnt like to repair glass how I asked, then I asked 5he owner why I got 2 different stories and he couldnt answer a simple question. the guy was trying to get paid more for selling me product I font need. do not call them they are idiots.

When choosing this company be sure to get another quote. I had a simple repair where three window panes needed to be replaced. They quoted me $1360!!!!? I got another quote from another company for only $175 for the same job. However, the technician showed up on time and was clean cut, so no complaints there. This company looks very reputable for other jobs, so dont not choose them because of this post. They may not do very good with small repairs but are better with new installs and bigger jobs. Im just saying if you have a small repair, make sure you get another quote.

Excellent purchase and installation on a double paned gass filled French door glass.

Called the Guru May 2nd to setup an estimate to have two windows replaced. Had an estimate done on May 7th, their earliest appointment. Had The Glass Guru order the glass the same day. They werent the cheapest, but they had good reviews. The glass took about 10 days to ship. When they called me to setup an appointment for install their earliest appointment was June 13th. I decided to pick up the glass myself and have another company install... for cheaper than the Guru would have.. and a lot sooner. If youre okay waiting a month and a half to have a window replaced... and pay more than other local companies charge... call the Guru.

I made an appointment 2 weeks in advanced, gave the attendant my address and phone number, took off from work and was called 1 hour before the scheduled appointment only to be told they dont service my area. Somebody could call me with the two weeks leading up to this appointment?

Website advertises that they repair door hardware.Called and inquired about a quote, and they informed me that they do not repair door hardware. Dont advertise that your business performs hardware repairs if they, in fact, do not.
