Im so happy TurboCone is finally open! I love soft serve ice cream with a passion, even down to having a swirl cone tattoo, and I was elated to see this shop come to town. A friend and I finally tried it out today, and we werent disappointed. I cant wait to see more flavors like strawberry and coffee hit the menu!

They offer non-dairy options which is slim-to-none at most ice cream places in Charleston. The vibe is super retro and I love that. The soft serve is great and the service is too. I also love their merchandise.

Glad to see this place open up in our neighborhood. Had to try it out as soon as I saw it was open. Took our puppy there, got him a pup cup (awesome concept) and got ourselves a cone as well. Was great, and the employees were super friendly and super fast. Was impressed to see them nail it so quickly with just opening. Going to have to stop by all the time now!

Ice cream and service is good, though more flavors would be an improvement. Price is also high for what it is. Would give a higher review, but to have your name as turbo cone and not have the turbo cone on the menu at this point is pretty disappointing.

Great concept, kid friendly, quick service, but the flavor is definitely lacking. I was excited to see that we had a new ice cream spot in West Ashley, but the ice cream itself just doesn’t compare to other local spots like Park Circle Creamery or Jeni’s. The vanilla was so-so and their fruit syrups for mixing in were way too sweet and had a very artificial flavor. (To be honest, Chick-fil-A‘s vanilla soft serve is way tastier than their vanilla.). Not worth the price in unless they adjust their flavors!

I have been telling my friends (and anyone who will listen) that Charleston needed a soft-serve ice-cream business. Well, out of no where I saw this place pop-up so I decided to give it a try. I went with a friend and we both opted for the Vanilla Bean ice-cream (it was this or chocolate). It was delicious. The ice cream seemed more icy than creamy but was still tasty (could just be the type of ice cream but reminded me of frozen yogurt).. There are a lot of dips and toppings to choose from as well as milkshakes. They are still getting the full menu up-and-running but show these folks some Charleston love! Its locally owned and the gentleman who owns it hired local high schooler (good for him for keeping them busy and earning a wage). The whole staff was smiling and seemed to be having a good time. Glad I showed up when I did because a line formed pretty quickly. Will be going here again...and again....and again.

First experience was fantastic! Great menu with tons of options. The outdoor seeting is well layed out and spacious. Staff was super friendly and service was fast. Will definitely recommend!

Turbo Cone is exactly what the Charleston area needed. It is every child and adult childs dream of soft serve ice cream, homemade waffle cones and sprinkles (or syrup, oreos, whatever your heart desires). The restaurant is clean and has a large outdoor dining area. Dog friendly too!

Great soft serve ice cream. Something needed in West Ashley. We loved the waffle cone. It had just enough sweetness to compliment the creaminess of the ice cream.

This is our family’s new favorite ice cream place! The homemade waffle cones are amazing, and my daughter loves the shakes and the hurricones! It’s so nice to finally have a soft serve ice cream shop nearby.

Love all the mix in options (Oreos, brownies, cheesecake, fudge, fruit, everything you could imagine). Love the customer service. Love the ice cream. Love the outdoor, family- and pet-friendly environment. I love Turbo Cone!

Had a Hurricone with Strawberries, chocolate chips, and Reese’s cups 3 times in the first week they were open. The ice cream is fantastic and the people serving are fast and courteous. The place has been packed each time I have been there, and I believe it will be indefinitely. I’m a fan!

I love taking my grandkids here for ice cream! I am a hot fudge aficionado and they do not disappoint! Went back for the second time for a vanilla/chocolate swirl cone. OMG. those 5 lbs I just lost are coming back! YUM

Product so creamy -- atmosphere so vibey (great tunes on the patio from Yacht Rock to Deee-Lite!) -- staff so sunny; I love me some Turbo Cone. Vanilla in a cup with peanut butter sauce. You wont regret it.

Been eyeing this place since we knew it was going to be an ice cream place and was so excited to finally see it open. First thing to know is that this place sells SOFT SERVE. If you want anything else youll have to go somewhere else. That said, their ice cream machine will never be down like some other places *ahem, McDonalds. They offer different ways to jazz up your soft serve with sprinkles, cookie dough, chocolate chips and more. Soft serve flavors chocolate and vanilla were offered, but they also had two dairy free options including pineapple! They are very generous with the mixins and sprinkles. Dog friendly patio. Id love to see some patio heaters added for these cooler months. All employees had upbeat attitudes and seemed happy to be working which was refreshing. Keep up the good work, guys!
