I love this store!! I could actually go here monthly only if I could afford it. Always receive good customer service. My last interaction, caught them off guard. They were not used to someone using Affirm so this took a little additional time but that was okay. My only request is that they give the kiddos something to do. With the summer being here and parents shopping, at times, kids tend to do their own thing..which could possible cost the parent extra money. But they also meet the requests of my 6 yo. I use Layla all the time. She is extremely nice.
I had a great experience with Caroline! She was super sweet and genuine. I’ve had instances at other designer stores where the employees come off as rude. I had the exact opposite experience here because she was so kind to us even though we spent a while looking around the store and ended up not buying anything that day. The next day I came back and bought a pair of earrings from her and I’m very happy with my purchase. One word of caution is that you have to get there at least an hour before the store closes on weekends. A long line usually forms outside of the store and they can only accommodate a few customers at a time.
Worst customer service experience I have had at this location. I waited in line for over 20 minutes to return an item that I received from the website due to a defect. When I entered the store, the woman was very rude and stated there was nothing wrong with the item. The items glazing was peeling off and going into the canvas, so within a few uses the canvas would be cracked, and they would not accept a return leaving me with a defective item. She threw the item into the drawer and did not ask if I wanted to exchange the item or if I wanted to see anything else equivalent. I gave her my paper work and she wanted to know why I did not have a printed receipt. I stated they never sent a printed receipt and it was only emailed. After several minutes of being rude, she refunded the item. I asked if they had another item in the store, and she rudely replied, you didnt ask to see that before. I have never felt so looked down upon or treated as rudely at the Charleston Louis Vuitton as I have today. My family has spent a lot of money in this store over the years and I have never experienced this type of service. In the future, I will never deal with this sales associate, and as Julia Roberts once said, big mistake, big!
I enjoy shopping at Louis Vuitton Charleston at Charleston Place. It is fun to look at all of the cool accessories and other items they have on display and see them all in one place. I really like the design and the way this store is organized with different spaces and rooms and how all of the different items are categorized and displayed. I am selective on the items I have purchased here for gifts so it is good to be able see everything in person and touch and see it. The staff here is very helpful and accommodating in being able to help you and answer any questions you may have. I have had a positive experience here every time I have shopped here and it is always worth coming in here to see it all.
Beautiful store. Excellent and patient service. We picked out the most exquisite valise for our laptop. Perfect for the courthouse. I also bought an elegant necktie.
Arrived at this location at 4:40 pm closing time supposedly 5pm, 1 person in line, we were told no more customers for the evening. As it was our mother’s 70th birthday we wanted to purchase a purse for her, already chosen just needed payment and leave. NOT HAPPENING at this location. The lady in front of us just wanted to purchase a key ring which should’ve taken less than five minutes. We were outside deciding where to eat dinner and the FIVE employees were standing around laughing and joking inside. Disgusting customer service and very low end service representing such a prestigious brand!
Its a Louis Vuitton store with excellent customer service. Everyone that worked there was very attentive. I will definitely shop here again.
My husband and I were on vacation and we went into look at a few things, my husband purchased a wallet and I wanted to think about the purse so we left to walk around some more. I decided I wanted the purse but not thinking about what time they closed, I looked after a while it said they closed at 5 which was in 5 minutes. We were right there and decided we could make it got to the door with a few minutes to spare and we’re turned away by a lady with a pony tail and glasses. We told her we knew what we wanted and it wouldn’t take long and she said we open back up at 11 the next morning. We told her we were flying out the next morning but she didn’t care. Told us they were closed even though it was not yet 5pm. We had already spent $800 and we were about to spend another $4500. Lindsey our sales associate was perfectly lovely though.
After waiting in line to go in I was told every bag I wanted to see they didn’t have. The sales guy ordered a bag and matching wallet for me. He told me it was the last one in the country. The order went through and they charged my card for over $4k. He said it would be 3-5 business days and gave me his card with his cell on it. A week later nothing. I texted him. He ignored me. A week later I called customer service and waited for a long time only to be told I was charged for a bag I was never getting. The store rejected my order. The bag was out of stock in the us and Canada. The wallet come but I don’t want a wallet without a matching bag so now I’m waiting two business days for a label and even longer for someone to contact me on refunding for me a bag I was never going to get. Since it will be so long between waiting for a bag that was never coming and getting a refund I will end up paying interest on a purse I was never getting. Worst experience I’ve ever had at any high end bag store. I even drove 3 hours to go to this store! Never again!
Inexperienced, apathetic staff. I asked to see classic monogram full closure bag styles. Rep brought out exact opposite, and on 3 occasions pressed a cross-body style bag despite my initial declination. Poor brand representation, won’t shop here again.
After reading the other reviews, Im quite confused. I see a lot of reviews of others having a negative experience due to being profiled. I can say that with one look at me, with my full arm tattoos, brightly colored hair, and plain casual clothing, and you wouldnt think I shopped at LV. But I occasionally like to splurge and treat myself.I highly believe in the golden rule, so I am always kind and empathetic to everyone, especially those that work in hospitality!With that being said, Ive ALWAYS had a great experience each time Ive visited the Charleston location. Never once have I felt I was profiled based on my appearance. Every associate Ive encountered has always been kind and helpful. Theyd always pull out several things for me to look at and try on, and when I didnt purchase anything, they still werent rude. When I do find something I like and the items werent in stock, they were always able to order them. Even via text, I always had consistent communication with my SAs. Because of this, I try to stop by this location any time we visit Charleston.Thanks for the great and consistent customer service and experiences!
Couldnt get in. Had to wait in line, yet there was nobody in the store. Looked through the windows while leaving. 2 employees behind counter talking to each other. Why the line? Will just order on line.
An absolutely amazing retail experience from the young lady at the front door to everyone inside especially Jennifer Sison. They spent time offering suggestions, were eager to share details of the various items in different styles and colors, and we shared stories of family. I feel like this team went above and beyond to ensure all of my questions were answered and offered post-purchase suggestions and additions to further my satisfaction and enjoyment. LV is a luxury house for a reason and it starts with its team.
LV is using dime store tactics to try to create illusion of demand. The CDC relaxed mask and social distancing requirements weeks ago but this pathetic retailer didnt get the memo.Desperate and pathetic
My experience here was horrible. I took my grandmother here to replace a purse she had lost in a car accident, and she was treated horribly. Even though she is disabled and cannot stand for long periods of time, she was forced to stand outside as the only group in line, for longer than she could handle. The staff members then took away her water, and then refused to help her while she shopped and would only speak to me. They however failed to listen to me as well and would only show my grandmother tiny purses ignoring everything we said we were looking for.
Awful service and very rude employees. I love the brand but not this store. One of the employees completely ignored us when we peaked inside the door because we didn’t see anyone coming. He was on the phone but he clearly saw and heard us saying excuse me but chose to pretend he didn’t. When we finally were let in by another employee the woman who was helping us was not friendly at all. I’ll spend my money at another store.

Staff in Charleston, SC seems like they really dont want to assist the customer (certain customers). I will continue to take the drive and shop Charlotte,NC South Park location. The entire staff at that location was friendly and acknowledged me even as they walked passed me. It makes a difference to me at least!

We had to wait outside the door until someone came to let us in, it was me and my Husband and a couple and their friend that we didnt know, behind us, one of the SAs came to the door and rudely told us we were not standing in the right place, then went back in.. In early October 2020 I visited the Charleston LV store during a girls weekend. The sales associate that helped us during that visit was Clayne Slaven. Although I didnt purchase anything, it was more of a scouting out visit, I was so impressed with Clayne that I knew I wanted to purchase my next handbag from him.This past weekend was my birthday and I knew exactly what I wanted...a Speedy 25 bandouliere. I had kept Claynes card from my October trip so I texted him the day before, letting him know my intentions of driving down from Wilmington to Charleston for a day trip. He replied promptly and set aside the bag for me. The next day we drove down and Clayne met me at the entrance. He brought the bag out to me, quickly refreshed me on the details of the bag and let me inspect it to make sure I was happy with it. My husband, too, was impressed with Clayne that we decided to go ahead and purchase a Sarah wallet for our daughter as her birthday is three days after mine.Clayne went in the back to wrap our items, including weather proofing them since it was raining outside. He exited from the back with my items along with a surprise goody bag for me in honor of my birthday.The entire experience, from Claynes personal attention, the friendliness of the staff and the selection in the store, was phenomenal. As we were leaving I acknowledged to Clayne I would be back to see him when Im ready for my next purchase (Felicie Pochette). I will forever be a loyal client of his.
We decided to stop by and look at purchasing a piece luggage for my wife around 3:50 on 29 August 2020. They have new hours posted on website that we went by said 12-6 pm. My wife and I, along with another lady who was going to spend $3000 on luggage where turned away due to them closing early. We traveled to town to purchase a item. Evidently they are not hurting for money. Disappointed.
Last Monday I visited this store it was unpleasant experiences. The lady sale associate did not seem like to help me at all.. I stood and wait in line even when someone come out the lady still make me wait like 10 more mins even no one was in the store and she seems like did not want to take care for me. Sarah the manager was so nice and make my shopping experience outstanding last time when I shopped at LV - CHS store. So I wanted to look at some necklaces The SA handed to me and got right back texting someone on her phone. She was so rude and I asked about Sarah she said Sarah was off that day I can come back if I want Sarah will be working tomorrow with some rude attitude. She took me out of the door and got someone in line right back in without waiting like me. Feel such a discriminate about how I look and how I dress even I wasn’t dress down or just because of my race that why I got treated that way. Shame on her 👎🏻👎🏻
I am visiting Charleston from Florida and i have purchased many Louis Vuitton purses and i have never received such horrible customer service. The associates were unprofessional and rude. After waiting for a lengthy period of time to enter the store, I requested to schedule an appt and the lady (short haired blonde lady) was sooooo rude and disrespectful. In addition the store is understaffed and as a result the PAYING CUSTOMER is the one that pays a price. I ended up going around the corner to Gucci and what a difference ended up making my purchases there. CUSTOMER WARNING...dont waste your time spending money at this particular LV store!!!

It’s not the stores fault, but LV needs to send them more merchandise. They don’t sell perfume here, which I didn’t discover until I had driven over 2 hours from a couple of towns over. So disappointed.All hope was not lost though, across the street at CosBar I was able to buy a Tom Ford perfume I had been wanting for a very long time.And it’s so strange because there is a Perfume travel case on display and for sale.... but no perfume!Regardless, my associate April and her manager were friendly and patient. If you’re coming into Charleston to shop, I suggest staying at the Belmont hotel and asking for a room on the 4th with a balcony view above the Louis store, it’s really cool.
I traveled to Charleston on Saturday to shop at Louis Vuitton. I was warmly greeted and assisted by Morgan W!!! I purchased a Speedy 35, matching wallet and charm to attach to my bag. Thanks for the OUTSTANDING customer service Morgan and I will return soon for additional purchases!

I thought that it was just me but after reading the other comments I see that customer service is just not great at the Charleston location. I purchased a bag in Charlotte and had a ball with the staff. I was treated like a respectable consumer with respect and dignity. I did not get that at the Charleston store I will NEVER return and will be sure to let others know.I went in to inquire about a repair and was given absolutely no help. I was never asked if I wanted to see anything. I came there with the mind to inquire about the repair and make a purchase but after that treatment I thought my dollars should be spent where they are appreciated. I refuse to spend that kind of money in an establishment with such horrible customer service that treated me like I’m subservient.
I love the store. This is one of my favorite places to visit. Charles provides excellent service and is more than willing to help you in any way he can. Theres is always something new and exciting to see when you visit Louis Vuitton in Charleston SC. I am visiting there tomorrow to see the new items that have arrived.
The Charleston store is great but the online experience is horrible. I have tried calling, texting, and emailing to get my order corrected but no one at Louis Vuitton has bothered to help.

Visited the store today for an exchange. Was greeted promptly as I walked in. Justin one of the SA there was so helpful and knowledgeable about everything. He spent quite sometime with me and did not mind showing me whatever it was I wanted to see. Ive been here several times and have always had a great experience whether if I was purchasing or not. Abby was another SA who was very nice and made conversation with me also. Love this store and the staff. :)

My husband purchased me a bag two months ago from today and it was damaged in his truck. Called customer service and was told to drive to the nearest store. We did just that and it was two hours away. I’ve always been told anything can be fixed for a fee. The manager and the “official repair” guy could of not cared more than the person who was walking by on the street who had no idea what was going on inside of the store. Was told NOTHING could be done and to turn my bag around and no one would notice. Wasn’t told that we could send pics into customer service or anything. We will NEVER purchase another bag from this location NEVER!!!!! They are nice when you purchase but forget when you have a problem!!! Worst Customer Service EVER! Don’t waste your money buying from them!! The director of the stores name is Tasma Sledge. She didn’t care and of course it flows down to the employees. Leadership starts at the top! Looks like they need to reboot that location!

I purchased a purse and a wallet from them. Abi was my client advisor! She was awesome. She did go above and beyond to let me pick the purse I like. She was super friendly and nice. She was not pushy and her knowledge about the products were great! Her customer service was more than 5 star! I would definitely go back to that store again when I go to visit Charleston!
We went in 6/20/19 looking for the 6 key ring holder. We was “helped” by a old white lady, she looked in one drawer & said we don’t have it, she offered to order online but we know that don’t go so well. But yet after we left I saw key holder on display, and the website even said that this store had it in stock..

My husband and I drove 2 hours from Savannah, in the rain, with our toddler to have two purses sent for repair. He walked into the store to speak to a Client Services representative about the process for repair. She told him that she could not guarantee that the purses could be repaired. This, from a company where weve spent thousands of dollars! I would recommend that people stay away from this location.
Absolutely horrible! Stay away from this location, the manager is terribly rude, hostile towards the handicap and even refuses to identify herself by name.After treating several customers rudely and being hostile to a handicapped gentleman she was asked for her name and she turned and walked away and said Im not giving that to you. People walked out at that point and even people in line waiting to get in gasped at her behavior and left...I cant stress enough how horrible an experience this was for myself, my family and many others who had to experience this horrible manager. Even one of the employees confided in me that no one likes or respects her and that she has treated many other people like this. No wonder this Louis Vuitton store has the worse rating of any store in this entire mall. Might be time for Corporate to show her the door and put a manager in place that values its customers.
My wife and I visited the Charleston Louis Vuitton store and we were very satisfied with the customer service . An associate named Jennifer really made the experience so much fun. We ended up purchasing way more than we planned but it was well worth it . My wife loves everything she got and we will continue to shop with the Charleston store. We could of went anywhere to buy the things my wife wanted but Jennifer was amazing to us and made us feel special . Everyone there was so nice . Thank you again and we will see you guys soon.

Drove 2 hours to charleston. Trisha Fravla /Manager told me it was normal wear and tear and nothing could be done. She could not find me in the system either and I have purchased many items online at the store. I want to know if the information she told me was accurate, that LV products are expected to show wear and tear within two weeks of normal use as I was told by the manager in Charleston. I have had great service at this store in the past until now. I have not seen a person so unhelpful in a luxury store before. I would have at least expected her to send it into the company to get a professional opinion on the issue but she was unwilling.
The service that I received when purchasing was great. The sales associate was kind and patient. The handbag and key fob that I wanted were display items so I ordered new ones to be shipped to my home. When they arrived, it was apparent that the sales associate had grabbed the ones from the show room and shipped them. Very disappointing.
I called the store to get an update on our order from March 31 and was told that the order cannot be fulfilled because ran out of inventory. Mind you, when we were at the store, it showed there were 4 left in inventory. That was a gift for my sons birthday. We have always purchased from this store every year, going back to Ian when he was the manager of the store. This is definitely disappointing and disheartening. Tasma was our sales advisor. Why did the store not call us to tell us? But they were quick to issue a credit. A credit is not always a great service recovery tactic. Give what is promised should be the technique.
My family and I have had positive experiences when making a purchase at this store. The staff treated us well, even offering refreshments on one visit. I love their follow-up, too after a purchase.

Went to the Charleston store trying to purchase a piece of luggage. After asking for a sales associates assistance to decide on sizing I was given a very rude response and asked to wait. I waited for over twenty minutes and no one ever came to help me. I was well prepared to purchase a $2,000 piece of luggage and ended up leaving without any assistance and feeling very disgruntled over the entire situation. Will be keeping my business at the Atlanta store!
I love,love,love Louis Vuitton but not this location. The sales people act like you are there to rob the place and treat you in a degrading manner. I have never witnessed such behavior at any other LV store. After my purchase I quickly got out of there but only to leave feeling slightly upset and discriminated against. I will keep my business at any other LV store (Charlotte NC location is amazing) where they treat you like you are somebody and not like you are going to run off with the merchandise or cant afford it.

I have been in this store many times with friends that are regular customers. The one time that I visit alone- I am FOLLOWED and WATCHED. I will never visit this store again! I was profiled for whatever reason. I contacted corporate, but we all know that doesnt really matter🤷🏽♀️. I expected Louis Vuitton to have waaaaay better service and respect for its customers.

I bought a IPhone 6 plus case in this store last May, 16, recently the leather is peel off so easily . I called and tell them ( the lady who talked to me) that issue but she said they dont have any responsibility for this . I came another store and gave them this Iphone case, they changed for me immediately a new one. So this store is bad services. I and my family always shop this store but never- ever come back.
We bought a pricey hand bag 2 months ago. My wife is very careful with her things and doesnt use it very often. She had a previous LV hand bag that she kept for 5+ years and still looked great to the end. The brass clasp on the new bag is already scratched and looks bad because the clasp isnt solid brass but a cheap plated metal clasp so the light scratches show silver. Its just sad that a new bag like this looks fake after just 2 months.We had called the store and explained what happened and they said to bring it in and they could replace the clasp. We went to the store and were told that it was normal wear. Really? The clasp already looks silver and looks horrible! What is it going to look like after 6 months we asked! They offered to put another clasp on the bag for $70. We cant believe that they would ask us to do this after 2 months. Maybe after a year but 2 months??? Crazy!
I purchased a purse for my wife and was underwhelmed at the level of service. I asked to speak to the manager and she was alway busy. Asked for the manager to call me? She still has not 2 months later. RUDE! I will drive to Charlotte for our next purchases.
Not a lot in the displays, staff isnt very helpful. Wanted a bag thats like the neverfull but all she offered was the special versions of the neverfull to personalise it.The carpet is dirty, something you would not expect from such a famous brand.
I will NEVER return to this store. My husband and I were DEFINITELY profiled as we were browsing the store. The gentleman immediately approached us, I didn’t think much of that except to think that’s the LV way. But once I told him that we were just looking and will possibly make a purchase, it was like he felt that we shouldn’t be shopping there or that we couldn’t afford to buy anything in their store. My husband and I immediately noticed him lurking around corners watching me shop. Meanwhile the other customers were able to shop in peace and got first class treatment. We are staying at The Belmond where this store is located and while we will stay in this hotel again, we will NEVER step foot in that store. Besides, the one in Charlotte knows how to treat ALL of their customers.

I walked in the door and Ive never seen someone so scared of a customer. There were three females to the right of me but as soon as they saw me you could see the fear in their eyes. After about 30 seconds of awkward silence, I was finally approached by a woman with her arms clenched in she was studdering when she talked to me. Is this how you guys teach employees to approach customers with fear for their lives. This is not ok I do not like being treated like a monster. I am just a normal guy trying to get my bag repaired.

I have never been treated so poorly when purchasing a $2,000 purse! the sales associates were completely rude and seemed to be annoyed while I shopped for a hand bag. I love this store and while I usually give the other locations of Louis Vuitton four stars compared to the Flagship on the Champs-Élysées at 5 stars, THIS store will remain near and dear for giving me my FIRST true Louis experience. Thank YOU! Lauren was my Sales Associate (SA) for a couple of years and she left but every time I come in, the SAs are friendly, warm, kind, and helpful.When I graduated and I wanted to buy my first bag, I called my fellow lover of luxury, one of my sorority sisters, and we made a trip downtown. She wanted a Gucci bag, so we went there first and they were so rude that we shortly left and headed to Louis.When we arrived, we were prompted greeted, we told her which handbags we were interested in and she informed us of which bag would be best for our frames and which sizes. We finally settled on two different bags and we got matching Bandeaus to commemorate the event. SO cheesy I know but I like what I like. We have since loved our bags 5 years later and drop into the store when we need/want something nice. I have brought two other friends for their first experience there too and they have been happy customers.Thanks so much to the SAs and Management of LV Charleston for showing some southern hospitality and the true spirit of Charleston topped with elegant luxury. Not impressed. Most items not priced. Not that I couldnt afford to stop there, I just didnt feel the value of the items
The employees were extremely knowledgeable and incredibly sweet. I did not purchase a bag as of yet but I am certainly going to get one this year.
Extremely rude salespeople. The salespeople are so haughty that they act as if the only people that deserve to be in their store is themselves. My wife tried to return a purse and the salesperson claimed it was full of debris and hair as well as having a mark on the item. The purse was a Christmas gift that she took out of the box and placed immediately back in the box because she didnt want it. If there were debris, hairs or marks on the purse it came from the store. Do not expect a premium level of customer service in this store. You will however get premium prices.
Beware of bad sales associates. Ian is the guy you want - he was extremely patient and knowledgeable.
AVOID this store at all cost you are better off buying online. Have dealt with LV across U.S. and this is by far the worse experience. Received a purse for my bday but it was too big tried to exchange it for a smaller size but was astonished how we were treated. They tried to find every minute flaw in the purse so we couldnt return it. Mind you this was a display purse my boyfriend bought and we tried returning it a week later and I took the purse out of the box 1 time. Being from SC we were trying to support businesses in Charleston despite the bad reviews. Ppl who work here especially the manager and customer relation person (Jennifer) was extremely rude considering the amount of money we spent in this store. Will be reporting them to BBB. Spreading the words to family and friends in the area to avoid this particular store at all cost. Would hate for anyone to have the same experience. This store will go out of their way to screw you over. If you notice the pattern, they are extremely nice when you are purchasing the item.
Caution: Repair services needs much improvement. They will not stand behind repair store policy claims. Not very helpful and act like they don’t care.

Walked in and knew exactly what we were looking for. Nobody acknowledged our presence or gave an indication they were wanting to help. I tried on some belts, walked around for 10 minutes, then left. Not one salesperson said a word to my wife or I. The store in Charlotte is much better. Goyard or Faure Le Page are of better quality and value anyway. I will guide my wife towards these brands. I cannot stand LV service.
Variety of products was of my liking, good service.
Took my wife for a Mothers Day surprise and the staff were very accommodating... needless to say my wife had a great time!
I only shop here because it’s the closest Louis Vuitton besides the Charlotte and Atlanta stores. I do not recommend anyone going here if you can help it they do not deserve your business. The store manager is very pretentious and rude. She makes you feel very uncomfortable for just walking into the store. She is miserable, and definitely not a representation of southern hospitality or a high end retail store. My family, friends, and I have spent thousands of dollars in this location and yet this is how I have been treated. They change their attitude when you purchase something (sometimes) but if you are just browsing or need a service they are horrible. I have made my last transaction there and will be ordering my items online from now on... it’s not like buying it in person helps they still put it in a box and wrinkle the leather for bags.
