I came here to get my ears pierced for the first time and Tee was so amazing from start to finish!! From interacting via email to the piercing itself, she was professional, friendly, funny, and so gentle. She was thorough with explaining how she was going to do the piercing, what to expect, and explained aftercare as well. It’s been a week and they are healing nicely with zero issues (no redness, swelling, or discharge even)! Everything was sterile and clean there and the selection of jewelry was huge! I am going to go back for my follow up and will get another set from them, i trust them 100%!!

I got my daith pierced here about two months ago and Im so impressed! Tee did an amazing job. It was quick and the shop was very clean. She answered questions that I had and sent me home with great care instructions. She provided a free one month check up for the piercing as well.

I can’t say enough good things about this place! Prices were reasonable and good selection of jewelry. Quick responders and super patient, I was able to schedule an apt. for exact day I wanted. Tee was amazing and super friendly and kept asking if I was okay during the piercing as I was a little nervous. Minimal pain during piercing and it’s day 2 and haven’t had any pain or soreness at all. Not to mention, everything was clean and sterilized and I felt completely safe. If I get another piercing I’ll definitely be coming here.

Tee, the piercer, does amazing work! Ive gotten six piercings from her that all healed phenomenally. She is incredibly knowledgeable and takes her time explaining the procedure and care for your piercings. I got a dermal chest piercing from her and it barely bled, didnt hurt at all, and is healing gorgeously. She even gave me a new jewel because my old one had gotten dingy. I also got a forward helix and two lobe piercings from her.

Tee did my nose stud in 2019. Perfect placement, great experience. When I realized late last night that “remove all jewelry for your medical procedure in the morning” meant my nose stud also needed to come out, I freaked out! I’ve never taken it out and didn’t know how. But Tee saved the day. She came in early to replace the stud with a plastic spacer. I can’t say enough good things about Krazy Kats and Tee. ❤️

I had gone to a different piercing shop and got my nostril pierced and I was having some issues with it and the original shop was no help . I found this place online and went there for help and she helped me figure out the issue. I had to get it taken out because the angle was wrong (a different shop did this) but once its safe to do under the mask piercings again Im definitely gonna try and come here to get it redone!

Ive been to quite a few tattoo shops around the Charlotte area. My experiences have varied from poor to average. Krazy Kats on the other hand was the BEST!!!! The shop was so clean & smelled wonderful, and the staff was so welcoming  and sweet. Charlie was the artist who did my tattoo of dove silhouettes and he did such an incredible/thorough job. It is true there are many great tattoo shops in Charlotte and so many different artists with different styles to choose from. Jim Miller at Krazy Kats is one of the great ones; there is no doubt about it. If you havent got a tattoo from Jim, go for it. There will be interesting conversations or even if you have nothing in common, his taste in music is awesome. Jim is a down to earth, no nonsense kind of guy and will tell you if your tattoo will look good in the long run. But this review is not just for Jim, because while there are many tattoo shops in this beautiful city Charlotte, I cannot say the same for the piercing side of it. Most of the shops I went or talked to on the phone have no knowledge of what type of jewelries they use, one tattooist/piercer even adamantly told me that there was no Nickel in their stainless steel jewelries and Bactine is their chosen aftercare product . Now, I have seen Tees work, online and in person. Heck, I even got a few piercings done by her and Im really amazed at how much knowledge she has about piercings and how to take care of them properly. She is also very cautious and picky about some particular piercings, and for good reasons. Tee doesnt see people as another dollar sign but she actually cares if the piercing she performed heals well or not. That is a really hard to find quality in this type of business where everyone is out to make a quick buck, and one mistake can seriously hurt people. I have seen people scoff at their prices too; but hey, no one is forcing you to get that tattoo or this piercing. Keep up the good work, guys. There are many clients like me who actually care about quality.

I went in to Krazy Kats the other day to get my Tragus pierced. Tee was very welcoming and led me to pick out my jewelry, which they have a very good selection of, and explained to me the difference between all of them. I then waited for the girl in front of me to get pierced and looked through Jims portfolios. The man is an amazing artist. Im actually planning on going back to get my tattoos there. Anyways, when it was my turn she explained everything that she was doing, answered all my questions, and really made me feel comfortable. I have no aversion to needles at all and I honestly thought it was going to hurt more than it did. For some reason though, after I stood up I got extremely dizzy. Tee made sure I was okay, ran and got me water, and didnt make me feel like a sissy for almost passing out. She sat and talked to me for a bit and made sure I was okay before I left. Never have I had that kind of experience where a shop has actually cared that youre okay. They usually just rush you out the door and only care about the money youre going to give them.Definitely go here! Great prices, great service!

Super great experience! The shop had a cool atmosphere and my piercer, Tee, was extremely nice and helpful. She made sure to tell me everything I needed to know about the nose piercing I was getting and how to take care of it, etc. The actual procedure was really sterile and quick (it only took about 20 seconds to be pierced and have the jewelry put in).The cost was definitely worth it- I do recommend going if youre on the fence about it! Based off of my ONE interaction with Tee I will not be coming back. I just came over to Krazy Kats for the first time to ask for advice on a piercing. She gave me advice by barley looking at it whatsoever and was extremely short and had an attitude with me (I was being very nice by the way.) This is my one and only time I will be coming to this place, I couldn’t be pierced by someone that treats others that way. Thanks for making me feel stupid, sorry to have wasted your time. I guess if I’m not putting money directly into your pocket, you want nothing to do with me. Was hoping to find a new piercing place, but it certainly won’t be here.Edit: It was definitely more than an impersonal interaction. Unfortunately the only people that heard the conversation was her, I, and my husband, so I guess you cant really say. My husband was sitting right next to me and also thought she had a very poor attitude. She needs to learn how to be better with clients. I already knew all of that information, and it doesnt make a difference to me. It just means that she should have actually known better, and maybe in the future she will consider just about any person coming in, as a future client.On another note, If she had anything to say about the way I was pierced/the type of piercing, maybe she could have educated me instead and told me that herself. I have no problem being educated. Instead, I’m shooed away like a nuisance. There were only a few people waiting to be pierced. If someone can’t handle themselves professionally when they have business, then maybe that’s not the right business for them.

Ive been wanting to get my tragus pierced but I wanted to make sure I went to a reputable, clean place with an experienced piercer. A friend of mine recommended Krazy Kats. I got my tragus done by Tee a little over a month ago. She made the experience wonderful. Was patient while I asked any questions. My sister liked it so much we went back a couple weeks later to get hers done! Then I just went back to get my rook done. Another great experience! Tee really knows what shes doing and she really makes it as painless as possible! If I ever decide to add to my piercings, I will definitely come back here and recommend them to everyone I know!

Great Experience. One of my ears closed and Tee re pierced it for me! I had gotten them pierced about 25 years ago by a gun, it hurt like.... well you know. But Tee was like visiting a doctors office, clean, and professional. If I ever have my daughters ears pierced I would bring her to Tee in a heart beat. 5 Weeks and no infection of any complications. I had my very first tattoo. Jim said it couldnt be done in detail due to the size of my arm (which every artist has proven wrong since, more room equals more detail), but I went with the animation he pushed on me. I had social anxiety so I couldnt say no, not to someone I expected to know better. Well, merely years later it looks like a kindergarten drawing and they replied saying it was my fault. I highly recommend any other, actual award winning parlor in Charlotte. Dont forget it is by the hour, and he took smoke breaks while neglecting to pause the expensive timer. Never go where its paid by the hour unless you already trust them. Smoking often, sometimes no gloves, it was a hazard. Granted, this was 2013, but it still shines light on how they thought they could operate.Yes, no gloves (sometimes). I had far too much anxiety to say something. With him as a professional, Id imagine he wouldnt risk infecting me. The business proved otherwise. I highly do not recommend, or as long as Jim does the work, I dont. Especially when its 50/50 that he wears gloves or uses your money to use his vape/cigarettes.Poor art with too much money. OSHA violations and no absolute care it seems. Displacing the blame on me, as if Im the artist. How professional.The only place Id ever recommended by the hour is Paris Tattoos. They work and work so hard every minute when on the clock, I trust them. Never again with Kats, especially after just blaming me for bad art.

About a month ago, I went to Krazy Kats for my first ever piercing which was my septum! Entering the shop, it just feels clean and smells lovely - kind of has a home feeling to it! My friend that I was with even said that the shop is so cute and clean! Its almost a feeling of hey, everyones welcome here! because of how nice the staff is. My first impression was excellent of Tee, she made sure I would be able to have the piercing by checking my sweet spot instead of just piercing it. The actual piercing experience was excellent, I was shown the needles and how they were brand new etc. My piercing is now a month old and still going strong, I definitely recommend Krazy Kats and I dont see myself going anywhere else for a piercing OR tattoo(when I get the guts to do that, haha)
