Nice boutique wine and cheese bodega. The Culture Shop is quaint, unique and equipped with a lots of daily essentials. From wine to specialty food and everything in between they you covered. The staff is Uber friendly and accommodating. I tried the Uncle Sammy remixed. Instead of as a sandwich It was constructed as a salad 🥗. The salad was super tasty and filling.

We have been to The Culture Shop several times and this last time we were blown away! They have definitely grown and we love what we are seeing! Great spot for getting amazing artisan products, we did mention it would be cool to have an add another meat or cheese option if you are purchasing a board. Another surprise was they carry pepperoni rolls, just trust me there!

Awesome selection of meats, cheeses and literally any accoutrement you could think of. The staff was so friendly and helpful; on top of that it started to pour down rain just as my board was ready so the owner herself walked me to my car with her umbrella. I would have been back for the cheese regardless, but the fact that they went above and beyond has guaranteed they have a customer for life. Ive heard great things about their sandwiches and its on my list to stop by soon and give them a try. Definitely check them out and support their small business!

We have always loved Culture Shop and always had a wonderful experience which is why when we needed charcuterie boards for a small party we immediately ordered here. As always, the boards were beautiful, delicious, and ready right on time! The staff has always been so friendly and helpful but they went even more above and beyond this time. They made sure we had plenty of crackers and even sent us with an extra pack just in case. Helped me get everything to the car and even made sure the boards had options that were safe for pregnant guests. Wonderful shop, highly recommend!!

I ventured in for the first time today, it’s within walking distance of my workplace. The cheese and specialty selection is tremendous. Staff is friendly and helpful. I ordered “The Jimmie” sandwich….was delicious! I highly recommend The Culture Shop!

Hesitated at first because the menu seemed more bottle shop than restaurant. But this has been the go to lunch spot for me as a weekend splurge. Also if you have a party or event and need to impress, take one of the charcuterie plates

I absolutely love going into the Culture Shop! They make the most delicious and gorgeous cheese plates. They walk you through all the daily cheeses and meats and will give you samples to make sure you get something you love. You wont regret checking this shop out!

This is one of our favorite finds in Charlotte. It is the cutest little store and their charcuterie boards are amazing, they are our go-to if we need to bring something to a get together and they add in the best nuts, fruit, crackers, etc.

We where visiting Charlotte for the weekend and decided to check out the culture shop since it was close to our Airbnb. The staff was extremely helpful with wine and cheese recommendations. Ended up getting a delicious charcuterie board and bottle of wine. We will definitely be returning next time we are in town!

Ive almost quit buying grocery store cheese since they moved in because I enjoy their cheese so much. They have a good selection, and everything Ive tried has been amazing. The staff are also incredibly helpful, friendly, and gracious. Biweekly cheese runs are definitely now a thing, and I always look forward to trying something newPs I also appreciate the selection of corn syrup-free sodas. My mom is allergic to corn and it can be hard to find any popular sodas other than Coke

The staff here are phenomenal and always willing to help. They always take their time with explaining the cheeses and meats, and the plates are so beautiful that you can tell they put love into it. I’ve been there plenty of times, and they even remember which cheeses I liked from my last plate. Hands down my favorite place to get a cheese board, not only for the quality you get, but the staff makes it 100% the best experience.

Yall, seriously, get in here!!! Tried the pork tenderloin special today on marbled rye, perfectly toasted with arugula so good! Dont miss the capo, the grilled cheese BLT, and definitelu treat yourself to the best potato salad ever from the cooler. This place oozes friendly vibes and great food!

Awesome addition to the neighborhood! The nicest people and amazing selection of meats, cheeses, wine and sandwiches. My husband and I have been coming here regularly and the food we get is consistently delicious. Sandwiches are hand crafted and made fresh every time and the wine selection allows you to choose whatever youre in the mood for. If youd like to see something else, just ask! Weve also enjoyed perusing the other items they have and have gotten everything from doggie ice cream to cocktail mix. The charcuterie boards are also great! They have a rotating selection and you can customize yours to what you want and they explain everything to you. Awesome date night idea, youll win major points with your significant other if you show up with a charcuterie board you picked out yourself :).

Amazing! The choices between a great wine and what kind of cheese goes with...dont forget The Uncle Sammy sandwich....you will thank me later!! The Grill Cheese BLT is another great sandwich just eat it quickly otherwise it gets a bit soggy but omgoodness you cant go wrong here...even the young ladies behind the counter are very helpful, patient and welcoming! Overall great little shop!!!

Every time I come in either to grab a sandwich for lunch or to pick up a board the staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Any questions I have are answered in great detail. I find myself constantly recommending this shop to neighbors and friends.

My wife and I discovered The Culture Shop today, and what a discovery it was! Located on the border of the Plaza Midwood and Belmont neighborhoods, this quaint wine and cheese shop booms with character and flavors.My wife loves cheese and charcuterie, so we had a 1+2 (one meat and 2 cheeses - all of which you get to choose ) board. It was excellent. The presentation was artfully done and assembled with precision. Accouterments included crackers, grapes, apricots, blueberries, goji berries, walnuts, cornichons, candied pecans, strawberries, figs, local honey and fig jam. Unbelievable!I had the special, the roasted pork tenderloin on rye sandwich. It may have been the very best sandwich I have ever had. Seriously, The flavors come together in an almost magical way. I recommend you include the optional semi-hot peppers. The heat from the peppers makes the whole thing outrageously good.And because it was our first time, we also had to try the grilled cheese sandwich. It was perfectly grilled and light as a feather. It was as good a grilled cheese gets. Again, seriously.The entire staff (Catherine, the owner, Big Al, the chef, and one other staff whose name I cannot remember) were all as nice and as accommodating as could be. They are a neighborhood cheese and wine shop and they make you feel like family. Oh, and the wine selection is excellent. We took home a nice grand reserve 2009 Rioja.Do yourself a favor and drop by. It is casual and unassuming, but as soon as you enter, you will know you are in the right place!

I seriously love this place! I asked for a random cheese plate with 3 cheese and 2 meats and Catherine hooked it up! So delicious! She came over and explained what was what. I highly recommend coming here for a cheese plate and glass of wine when nearby. I will be back when I’m in the neighborhood!

A great new spot in the neighborhood to pick up wine, beer, cheeses, charcuterie and other artisanal products from both local and regional sources, including some of my favorites. They also make some delicious food for takeout...like the tasty sandwiches we had today for lunch. So happy to have them so close!

This place is so delicious and has a great market! Lots of good cheeses, wines, coffee, snacks, syrups, etc. The Clarksburg sandwich was on the best bread and was spicy and delicious. :) They have Oliverio Peppers too! The owners are so nice and great conversation. We are excited to have this shop to visit in CLT!

I heard about The Culture Shop on Charlotte Agendas Instagram page and decided to check it out on a Sunday afternoon with my mom. So happy I did. The number one thing that impressed me was the customer service! I believe the woman we spoke with the most during our visit was the owner and she was so kind, telling us about different wines and answering all of our questions. The place is adorable. Its a smaller building yet it did not feel cramped at all and we were able to enjoy ourselves and take our time looking around. They also offer gloves and masks upon entry due to the pandemic which I thought was awesome. We purchased a 4 pack of small cute rosé bottles, a bottle of merlot and a small charcuterie board. The charcuterie board was adorable and the rosé was so yummy. Thank you so much The Culture Shop! I will definitely be back to try more wines!
