Quite possibly the perfect tech nerd place to look around. Its like a tech yard sale, and I cant remember ever NOT leaving with at least 2 pieces of tech

My brother in law took me here as I never heard of this place. Its a Goodwill store but for donated electronics from video games to computers, to security cams. Definitely one of the coolest stores I have been to. Lots of gaming systems and accessories especially if youre a old school collector. Prices are pretty good for most items but some arent a great deal. Items are checked for working order which is a great thing so you know you got a working electronic device/equipment. I am surprised there isnt one in Orlando, FL...I think they would do extremely well here.

Good mixture of old and new electronics. Mostly used though. They dont accept things that are too far abused. Always a good place to buy a printer or used television for a room. Great customer service. Nice space. Not too big or too small. Stay away during busy hours because it can get quite crazy. Its best to go during the business day from 11am to 2pm. Its dead and gives you all the time you need to really dive deep into all the gadgets.

My girlfriend and I were on the verge of breaking up because I would keep her awake at night with my constant mouse clicking. NOT ANYMORE! Consider this relationship saved.This mouse is so silent she will sometimes forget Im even home and invite her lover over. Hes a pretty cool guy.

Enzo was a really good sales representative and had excellent customer service. He helped my pick out a laptop that was the best match for me!! If you need help at this establishment ask for Enzo!!

Very clean and organized store with donated equipment for sale at reasonable prices. Brandon was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I needed a replacement power cord for my laptop - much better option than amazon or other stores.

I am a retro gamer and a computer geek, this store has so many retro games that its not funny lol, anyway I was begging my brother to go to this store, I bought some computer speakers that came with a subwoofer, plus a second monitor because I also am a software engineer. I decided to hook the speakers up and monitor up, then went to Youtube for the new Call of Duty Cold War trailer and played the speakers........mannnn my brother came rushing out his room like it was world war 3 in my room lmbo his face was priceless lol he said man I thought something was going on lmbo....Go get a good deal you wont be disappointed!!!

The two guys working on today were so funny and sweet! My brother went in to get assasins creed and they were so helpful!! they deserve a raiseeee!!!

Wish there were more “The GRID” stores around! Super selection, fantastic prices, clean and organized. Will probably plan a weekend trip just to shop here.

Okay gamers heres the scoop, The prices are now so outrageous that its not even fun or a bargain at all for anyone anymore. Staff said managers and people in the back price things at basically what it goes for online but honestly from everything I looked at was priced EVEN HIGHER. Ive been a customer since the store was on freedom but today was my last day darkening the doorstep.

Glad there is somewhere for those electronics instead of a landfill. Opportunities for people to work is great.

One of my husbands favorite stores. Nice selection, new items often. Most employees are helpful, even if not knowledgeable. If you have a technical question about an item in the store, just Google it.

Very large selection of vintage gaming which is amazing. It brought back alot of memories of gaming. I found the controller I was looking for and a few games at a much better price than G.S. they also have a wide variety of computer accessories and monitors. Great store a must see if you live for gaming.

Employees are friendly and helpful. Goodwill is greedy on pricing donated items though!

An excellent place to explore used electronics on the cheap side. Electronics are tested to ensure they work before they are sold. We are big fans of Goodwill in general so we highly recommend checking out this location!

Definitely hit or miss with the entire experience..... sometimes you go in and the employees are happy to help and at least put up the front like they want to help.... then there are times such as today which might in fact be my last time making the trip to this location. Ill try my luck with online auctions and flea markets because this is ridiculous

The grid is a great company I love going there best friendly helpful people. The store is clean and organized. Stores set up for kovid and has all the proper things in it that it should have. this is a good place to go for older systems if youre looking for something thats hard to find. Diana

Good place to go to score some retro video games but you have to be in the right place at the right time to find something really good. Selection is okay but its all donations so cant give them too much of a hard time.

The mission and value to the Charlotte/Concord community that the grid does is invaluable. They are a wonderful organization and deserve the highest praise. They are have continued to supply computers to people who desperately need them for work and school. If you want a great deal on old computers and related paraphernalia this is pretty much the only place in the meck. county area. My only request is that they sell ram outright for a good price and quantity however they need it to build the ready to go computer systems.

I came here to find a gently used computer monitor and what I found was so much more and at unbeatable prices! Every gaming system I used when I was a kid, games and accessories to go with each, desktop computers, all kinds of small electronics and computer peripherals, internet routers, and much more. Im definitely coming back here next time Im looking for electronics and tech gear!

Always a great place to donate any electronics and I am constantly finding new little trinkets for my appliances at home.

Large selection of games, mostly Wii/Xbox 360 and newer (not including current gen). Plenty of controllers, cables, and adapters.

The quality of the items to buy are great. Theres always something new to buy any day of the week. Weve brought 2 complete computer systems, an additional monitor, electronic games, a digital camera and more. Everything works brand new.

I love coming to the grid. I got my computer, monitor, printer, portable DVD player, games and accessories from here and they work great. They fix up the electronics before putting them out for sale. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I come here at least twice a month so see the new things they may have.

Just go here its run by Goodwill but it is really nice, prices are really good, all the old games you played and any part you need for a console/pc. Anything electronic its probably there

This is a cool place. All the local Goodwill stores send all the tech donations here. It is organized and well priced tech and parts. I like to check here before buying online. I just got a MacBook power supply for $25 bucks. It would be $60 or more to buy a legit Mac one online new or used.

Spent about 100 dollars in here. This is a wonderful place for collectors, gamers and computer geeks. They sell a little bit of everything and its not dusty or an awkward environment. Its organized and pleasant to be in and easy to find all of your interests.

Great place to visit if you’re looking for replacement parts for your PCs

This store has unfortunately become the worst used video game store in Charlotte, which really is a shame given that it is run by Goodwill. All games and consoles are priced well over the competition in town, many titles to the point that it is laughable. Save Point, Video Game World, and G2K Games are all infinitely better, and offer a much stronger selection.

I just want to take a minute and fill all of you in on something that happened to me. I was at the The Grid yesterday in Charlotte NC. Its a Good Will Electrics store. I walked in a few days before and no one said a word to me yesterday however when I went in I wasnt waring a mask I also wasnt the last time either. But after I was there for about 25 minutes one of the Associates walked up to me and asked were my mask was. I told him I didnt have one he asked if I need one and I said no thanks. Before I could answer to the fact the I have breathing problems and cant ware one I was told that I had to ware a mask or leave! So I said I would get my purchase and leave then. He then prosecuted to tell me he couldnt ring me out if I wasnt waring a mask! So I took one to buy what I had and leave. He walked to the back and the other associate started to ring me out in the middle of the transaction the card reader just shut off! Then about 10 seconds later the other associate walk back out of the back room. At that point I decided to forget the hole thing and leave. After I thought about it I decided to call the Manager and talk to him about how I was treated. He was more belligerent than the associate was and told me that the policy was no one can be in the store without a mask so not to come back if I couldnt ware one! And hing up on me! So I will not be shopping there EVER again mask or no mask! And I feel we all should stop shopping at good will if there going to act like that and treat customers in such a way. That is completely and totally not how that should have been handled. The Mandate is not a law! Its a request! And some of us have medical issues and it is outlined in the mandate for those issues to be exempt. As well as anyone with an FFL or a CCW it is a felony to walk into a business of any sort armed or unarmed with a mask on! I was also told I didnt know what I was talking about on that either. And Again it is a Mandate NOT A LAW the law says I cant do that! So which do I follow? I havent seen anywhere that its says the Mandate supersedes any laws previous to it!

I can’t believe how many people still don’t know about this place! It’s Goodwill but for tech and video games! Stop in for some great deals on old games, A/V equipment, and computer parts. You never know what they might have on a given day. Plus you get to help the community with your purchases.

I went to visit one of my friends in Charlotte, North Carolina. We were looking to purchase a remote controller for his Playstation 4. We called around to several stores and his wife suggested that we go to the Grid. It was an excellent choice. I had not known until then that there was a market for used electronics. I was impressed with their collection of used laptops that they refurbished. I would love it if they expanded this concept up north in Maryland. I think it is owned and run by the Goodwill.

A true gem and one of a kind. If youre in the area and appreciate tech, video games, computing, or anything nerdy, youll love it here. I come in on a weekly basis as the selection and value is so excellent.

We love this place! its great for finding gently used electronics for really good prices. we just turned my younger sister on to this store on her visit, and she was impressed with the prices and quality of goods. she even found the exact type of tablet she had been looking at online, practically brand new, and for a third of what she kept finding it online for! it works great and she loves it. very good store.

The grid is a little over priced for some of its used items but never the less a good resource for equipment on the fly.

Great store with lots of low prices on electronics. My favorite sections are the old Gameboy and DS games and they have lots of other games and consoles as well. They have lots of computers, monitors and other things to buy from, all at a great price. Definitely worth checking out.

Bill, who works in the back, was extremely knowledgeable in finding the right tools/equipment I needed for my home office.

I went here a got a Xbox 360 when I got home very excited to share with my family it didn’t work. We sat there for two hours trying to make it work for my very excited little brother. It said the device need a 360 hard drive and then it wouldn’t let me connect to Xbox live. Then it said it didn’t update but it couldn’t update because it wasn’t connected to I storage device. The man who sold the device to me didn’t tell me any of this information. If I had known I needed these items I would’ve purchased it when I was there. I understand the items are refurbished but the label said it had been tested to ensure it worked. However it doesn’t, a complete waste of money and time.

The Grid offers a host of tech items. They sale used monitors, laptops, CPUs and game consoles. They offer accessories as well. There are keyboards/ mice (new and used), digital cameras, cords and cables galore. Prices are pretty decent. Staff is knowledgeable.

This is Goodwills electronic store. You can find Wii games, cables, monitors, laptops, etc. It is mostly older stuff but still has value to the right person, and its faily cheap..

The Grid is awesome. I have bought 2 laptops and 2 desktops over the years from them. No need to spend all that money on a brand new pc.

I usually like getting things here but make sure you do your research because some of there prices are inflated. I got a raspberry pi 4 2gb for $55 which is now the standard price for the 4gb model and they wont honor the price difference and only do returns for store credit. Now, to get what I want out of this I have to hope to sell it online. Most likely for the 2gb going price which is now around $35. Fml

Can you say nostalgia? They have all of the classic gaming systems and games. They sell computers, laptops and various other electronics. This is where all of the game systems go that are donated to goodwill from all over the country. It is the only one in the country and its right here in Charlotte. I love going, love bringing the kids and love the deals I get on classic games and systems.

Lots of choices. Really clean and organized. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Goodwill needs to open another one of these stores in the other college communities. What could be more fun then gathering with friends to play classic retro and recently retired games with colleagues for a great affordable price.

A really good selection of games, and things were fairly priced. Imagine a tech/gaming store where you could revisit both your child hood and the more obscure world of gaming. I love that the staff hang back. The space is open and airy so it doesnt feel cluttered and overwhelming like some places.

Its great for what it is. If you want an older console, you can usually find what youre looking for. Game selection is hit or miss, but its always worth checking since eBay markups will always be worse. Their cables are also usually cheaper than Amazon. The 7 day warranty is also great considering regular Goodwill stores have no warranty whatsoever. They need to open more locations.

If you dont want to do any impulse buying, dont go here. We always go in to just browse and walkout with something great! The staff is always friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend if you need some decent, but used, electronics
