Light and fluffy reasonably priced donuts in mostly traditional flavors. My kids loved them. I thought they were good, but it was strange that the cinnamon roll had apple in it.

Service is always excellent even when they have a full house. Looking forward to a return trip. It has an awesome atmosphere.

Im a fan of cake donuts. This was not the place for me.If you like yeast donuts, you need to visit. I had a cookies and cream donut (pictured), that was delicious for a yeast donut.My kids had a strawberry sprinkled and vanilla sprinkled.I was tempted to try the peanut butter banana donut as well

Amazing donuts, from plain old glazed to fancier styles. The breakfast sandwiches are awesome, especially the sausage egg and cheese and the gravy biscuit. You can get a regular donut and a coffee for $2.00. No fancy coffees, but the house blend they serve will both warm and wake you right up!

First time at Sweet Dough. Their plain glazed was good, but the Bavarian creme filled donut was beyond good. It had a lot of very tasty filling and was very satisfying. I will be back.

I love coming in the morning to get a breakfast burrito and maybe a donut. The ladies who work here are always pleasant and have a big smile on their faces!

If you are a yeast donut fan -- this is the BEST donut I have ever had. Nothing even comes close. Totally amazing.

Friendly donut shop with the usual flavors. I got the chocolate frosted and it was good, but very much like any donut. If you want a good donut, go here.

I requested mini galaxy doughnuts for my sons 3rd birthday. All staff were friendly and helpful and the doughnuts turned out so beautiful as well as very tasty. They were a hit at the party! Will be coming back!

Always a fan of small businesses! They too just want a share of the pie. I ordered a brkfst burrito w/a maple long john donut. The burrito is just the right size (large) & plenty tatsty. There was no shortage of ingredients. Dfntly tasted clean (as you can see from the inside of the place). I was advised of a difference in taste of their donuts. This was not a yea right moment... It was right on the (mmmnnn good) taste buds! Ill be back!!!

I finally found a breakfast spot that has it all. The breakfast burrito supreme is the best I have ever had. Egg, cheese, bacon, gravy, sour cream (optional)...on a huge tortilla that melts in your mouth every time. I recommend asking for the verde (green) salsa. In the Northeast the bagel seems to define whether the breakfast restaurant is good...Well in the South it is all about the biscuit. The biscuits are made from scratch at Sweet Dough and are the best I have ever had. Put an egg, cheese, bacon, and slop gravy on top, and you have the best breakfast in South Charlotte! OK...lets talk about the doughnuts. All the doughnuts are made from scratch (like everything else btw) and for some reason they are just better than all the doughnuts I have in this area. The Bavarian Cream is GOOD! The glazed, iced, and long johns are GOOD! Oh! By the Way! The prices are very reasonable (almost too low). Try this hidden Gem sometime and you will be hooked like me.

Very VERY disappointed in the serving hours for non-donut items. When we went in at 11am to try their biscuits and gravy, we were disappointed to see they stop serving at 10:30am! Seriously? Youre a breakfast restaurant and you stop serving breakfast at 10:30am? If I wanted this headache, Id go to McDonalds at 10:31am everyday. General hours are always listed at 2pm close, even their website calls out 2pm. Their donuts were good, but not good enough to get me to come back before 10:30am to try the non-donut items. I wish Rise was still at this location.

Something to be said for truth in naming - only ever got donuts from here, but they are _too_ sweet.

Dounts should be hot and fresh especially at 7am. Great customer service but donuts dont taste fresh.
