Ive never played Warhammer and playing world of Warcraft I was always interested in the painting but was kind of intimidated. The second I walked in I was greeted and was so welcomed. Free painting lessons, any questions answered, super friendly and non judgemental of newcomers not knowing a space marine from a stardrake. 10/10 recommend.

Itamer was one of the most helpful and friendly people Ive ever met. Large variety of items and even during covid they allow you to browse as long as you use their supplied hand sanitizer. Overall an amazing place to go and Im sure to go back soon

Overall shop manager was helpful when picking models for my kiddo. Only complaint I would have is that you actually cant walk around the store and look at items because of covid restrictions it would be nice if this was noted on the business restrictions on Google

Itamer is extremely patient and knowledgeable with new and returning players. Definitely the place to go if you want to get into Warhammer.

I work close by and have gone in several times to check it out. The staff is wonderful, every one of them. They were super helpful and patient with me. They explained thier products and store selection very clearly and gave me a few pointers on how to get started on Warhammer!They even gave me a few characters to play with AND let me use thier paint to start my team. They have events and games going on all the time. I was very comfortable in there, knowing nothing about the gaming experience they offered.

Very friendly place. Employees are super attentive and Ryan, the Store Manager, has and amazing memory. Guy remembers me each time I go in, even though I have only been a handful of times with months/years between visits. Also great people hang out there to hobby, all very helpful. Highly recommend.

Well-stocked despite the small store size. The staff are fantastic: very helpful and knowledgeable about miniature painting and all things Warhammer. Its obvious that they love what they do! I stepped in on a whim just to see what an official Games Workshop store was like and ended up staying nearly half an hour chatting and getting painting advice. Great place!

My friends and I made a day trip to go to this store. It was the first Games Workshop wed ever visited. The store was much smaller than I expected and at first I was let down. After going inside it was very well stocked, had very friendly and helpful staff, and some nice models on display. I enjoyed the store, and wish there was one closer to my home

Store is kind of small, but they have a few gaming tables, a decent stock of merchandise, and the staff are really friendly. They have rotating events like every night, and everyone in their seems really happy to be there. I liked the Concord Mills location more, but its nice to have a GW back in Charlotte, and even if it is a bit smaller, its a lot more convenient, especially this time of year.I also like they stock the Black Library books and can order pretty much anything you want, even ones you cant find on Amazon or in generic bookstores.

Friendly and helpful staff, i always feel welcome here. I mostly go for paint, but the few times Ive bought or ordered minis have been pleasant experiences.

Awesome staff, very friendly and receptive to people new to the hobby. Went in to just look around and see some of the models, ended up staying over an hour learning about the game and new products. Great experience overall and will definitely be stopping by again to begin building my new Warhammer army!

Helpful staff

I liked coming here the other day with my friends. I enjoyed that they had areas where you can see the figurines set up and areas to paint your figurines. They had a couple games set up and people were playing them, which I enjoyed to watch.

Inviting atmosphere. The staff is mint and knows what they’re talking about. If you’re just getting into the hobby or on the fence about starting, the staff can help make your mind and explains how to play very easily. Also, the painting lessons have helped me a ton!

I came in the store a bit hesitantly, overwhelmed by the size of the Warhammer world, but Shawn and Ryan IMMEDIATELY welcomed me in and made me comfortable. They introduced me to a bit of the WH4K world (being Im completely green to the hobby) and Shawn even sat down with me and let me assemble and glue my first Space Marine and showed me how, then let me paint my first one.The experience was wonderful and while Im only in Charlotte for work, I will definitely be visiting multiple times while Im here (and probably spending far too much money! Hahaha!)

Great place to hang out and enjoy the hobbies Games Workshop has to offer. The guy who runs the store is an amazing person who tries to remember everyone who comes into the store, and usually does, even after only seeing them once a few months ago. Lots of items to choose from including minis, books, and paints.

The manager Ryan is a huge help. I stepped in just to start exploring the hobby. He wasnt pushy or nagging. Laid out exactly what you would want to start off and let me just look around. People playing or painting are friendly and will show you what they have.

I came in there only looking to buy one simple paint, but I find myself going back there the next time I get paid to get into Warhammer. Seriously recommend this place to anyone who paints miniatures, or even regular models like me.

Very well informed staff..this store is specific to Games Workshop product (check out the website), so dont expect any of the other brands of miniature gaming, but thats not always a bad thing.

Friendly, warm, energised. I went in midweek, midday, and there were people playing and painting. 100% recommend. I may even start playing again.

I was thinking this was a board game store but it is only miniatures. Still, it looked like they had a decent selection and they had a few tables of games going which looked fun. If youre into miniatures it would be worth checking out for sure.

Ryan (mgr.) is the man. Hes very warm and welcoming. If youve never tried a GW game, hell give you a great introduction. This store has a great, clean crowd.

A great store that sells only Games Workshop products. The staff are friendly and will help teach you the game if you dont know how or help you build an army if you need it.Other customers also stay in the store most hours painting, assembling, and playing the various GW games, including Age of Sigmar, Warhammer 40k, and Blood Bowl.
