This company was extremely helpful in a time in need at its most. We had a water main break here in Charlotte and needed tons of ice delivered to the company I worked for. I spoke with two different females in the sales department. One name Shayla and another female but I forgot her name. Please forgive me for that. Anyway we ordered two pallets of ice and needed it as soon as possible. I must say, the size of the bags of ice were huge, the driver of the truck was awesome, the two females I had spoken to went above and beyond in helping me. To top it all off the delivery was under 2 hours. We will be using this company in the future thanks to the service that was provided today. Thanks guys!!!!!

BY FAR the worst company Ive ever worked for. If you dont work the morning shift dont bother working here at all. You get long, middle of the day shifts and they treat you like your entire life is working for them. The owners are money greedy and care about nothing but themselves. They cheat everyone they can out of every possible penny, even if it means selling someone a bag of water. Never work here and never do business with these disgusting people.

Our company requests an upward of 1200-1500 bags of ice a week.Perhaps the request is too high for such a small company, or they do not care anymore. However, the service provided by Zippy Ice has not been that great. The main issue weve faced is maintaining any sort of schedule. Sometimes showing up first thing in the morning and other times late in the evening. Even having a driver leave after being asked if they could wait roughly 15 minutes.Sometimes they show up with multiple people and finish unloading in somewhat of a timely manner. Other times the driver comes alone, and so we provide help as needed. Can only assume they are understaffed.Unfortunately, they seem to be one of the only providers in the area. Reddy Ice wont even return an email/phone call. Perhaps we are such a small portion of their business and they can afford to offer such poor service. Either way, not impressed.

The owners are a joke at this place. The trucks are horrible and the pay isn’t worth the headache. The owners are known for holding their employees last check. Management likes to add stops to your route when you’re almost done for the day. Owners and managers are always on your back about doing extra stops when you’re back at the warehouse and about to go home. Nothing about this job was enjoyable. This is the most stressful job I ever had. With this being a small company it’s a lot of things they don’t do correctly like keeping up with DOT hours and ELDs for when you cross the state border. The trucks are garbage, they’re always breaking down and it takes them forever to get the trucks fix. The drivers are responsible from any and every piece of damage at the company. The owners will hold your check or garnish your wages if they think you owe them money. This company is crooked and I wouldn’t advise people to work here

I posted this review originally when my husband first started. Everything was great at first. Then my husband got his hours practically cut in half. His boss Marques Lanham promised him 40 hours and lately he’s not been getting but between approximately 20-30. They had told my husband previously they appreciated him and the hard work he did but apparently this is how he gets repaid.

We have used zippy ice for about 6 parties in the past couple of years and have been so happy with their service and quality. They delivered more ice than we ever needed and we just ordered our ice luge for a party this weekend. So excited and I would highly recommend zippy ice.

They delivered exactly when they said they would really made it easy for me to focus on my guests. I would definitely recommend using Zippy Ice for your next corporate event or personal bash!

Over two weeks ago i contacted this company to provide a snow party around xmas time. ( i know it was last minute but just thought of it)..After leaving messages for a couple days for the only guy who can set up or give any info apparently, he finally called me back.. Howard.After our initial phone call, we played phone tag for a day or two as Im attempting to lock it down. He then texts me saying he had to go out of town, but they are available on the 17th, he looked up my address online, and were good to go, and hed call me the next day.I was assured we would be good for the day I wanted, so I was able to send out the xmas party invites id been postponing until I locked down the snow slide activity... (he told me to send invite!! were good!)So Now Ive sent out an invite to 150+ people for my large 5th annual party, and 80 have already rsvpd yes and started talking about the snow slide I THOUGHT i secured... (made it very clear i needed this secured)Well Howard never calls me the next day as he said, then the weekend arrives and I call him the next week to no avail as its thanksgiving week and hes not available.So after the holidays Ive been trying to contact him and secure the past three days to no avail...Howard finally decides to just text me after avoiding contact all week at 9:30 wednesday night, to simply say unfortunately we will not be able to help you on the 17th, im very sorry....First off, thats beyond unprofessional to just send someone a text at 930 at night canceling something that you already set up with them and been avoiding them..A text with no explanation, at that time of day! just wow...Second, he made it sound like they were helping me...NO, Im a consumer trying to spend over $1,000 for ice.. youre not helping me, Im helping you by being a customer and spending money!! Youre not helping me, yourre suppose to be doing your job!! providing a service you advertise and set up then fail to deliver!!After calling the next day he informs me that since we werent confirmed (i explained thats through no fault of my own as Ive been trying to confirm the past two weeks and hes been impossible!), that another larger party later in the day upped their order and hell now have to accommodate them all day and cant help me..Once again he made it seem like providing a service is helping me.. boils my blood.. I tried to say he could come do ours early and leave as long as its cold, even the day before depending on weather and was trying to help problem solve since he got me in this predicament, but he just said it wasnt possible and acted like he did no wrong..I just cant begin to explain how irate I am with this guy and this business..So unprofessional for me to have to beg and chase someone down to spend that much money at a business. The BS he told me and all the setup ive already purchased for said snow... as well as guest already buying slides and such..So now, Ive purchased a Homemaking snow kit online for much cheaper (puts out less volume but hopefully works), so if youre in need of snow at home for much cheaper and someone who will keep their word in business, let me know..Or if you want to chase down someone just to be lied to and told that yall are good to go, then to be avoided and then canceled on late night via text with no reason, while they try to make it seem like theyre helping you,.. then by all means call this unprofessional overpriced company... This company is the worst company I ever worked for. They cut your hours, make you pay for all damages, you have to work weekends. Management is terrible here, nobody in the office knows what they’re doing. Their parking lot is terrible so if you have a car don’t park it in their parking lot park it across the street. This is the most unprofessional job I’ve worked at.
