Reliable most valuable groceries which we get at CLT.NC

Now this store is closed for about three months and they are giving 30% discounts which I received on grocery items. All others customers may take advantage. This is my opinion, the store may decide their policy at their own.

Love this store, friendly and helpful staff. They sell home made samosas and rotis which are my favorite!!!!They also have a small boutique inside the store for easy stitch fix and nice indian outfits. My go to indian grocery store for sure !!

Great place for any Indian food, groceries needs. Helpful Staff and good service. We always visit this place for weekly vegetables, frozen food snacks etc.There are fresh samosas available. On Sundays they also sell sugar Cane juice. There is also a boutique inside the store for Indian Clothing.

First visit... all looks good and nice people in the store. I will change my review after next couple of visits.

A decent grocery store and prices, but you have to come early if you want to get fresh vegetables.

This is am Indian grocery store. It has an amazing selection of vegetarian products and various varieties of rice. Great place to discover new foods for those of us that are not from India. Charlotte has now several ethnic food stores that are a delight for a non-native looking to discover new foods and get to know other cultures. Highly recommend it

I LOVE this store! I am not a good Indian cuisine cook from scratch, but this store surely has everything you would need. It also has a great range of packaged & frozen foods. I was elated with what I found. If you live in or near Charlotte/University area, and you love Indian food, you owe it to yourself to visit. The spices are a tiny fraction of the cost in the grocery store. Ghee is priced more like regular butter here (whereas it is 3x as expensive at an American grocers). I look forward to every visit.

Good indian veg...

This very clean Indian grocery store has fresh produce and herbs at reasonable prices. Ive bought fresh cilantro, mint, dill weed, and fenugreek. Last week I went in for whole green cardamon, onions, shallots, and persimmons. Dont forget the potato and green peas (veggie) samosas available at the cash register on Thursdays and Fridays. They rarely last until Saturday. Yummy!

Around the world market is it short supermarket where you can get almost all source of Indian groceries. The cashier over there is a very friendly and theyre very helpful as well. The price of the visibles and other groceries are reasonable.

The staff are very nice and price is right. However I accidentally pick up the wrong item/flavor. The store manager refuse to take it back part of their policy is that frozen foods sale is final. Thats just wrong

Good place to go for East Indian groceries

Typical Indian/Asian market. The flavor is predominately Indian though. Theres the usual selection of produce and packaged Indian basics and processed foods. Not a large selection of teas. But they cover most of what youd come into this type of store for. They also have a sari department with various types of Indian female apparel. As usual with this type of store, the more you wander, the more youll find. About average in variety and price, nothing special but as there isnt much competition in this immediate area, they seem to be fairly busy.

Great store with a lot of variety. Fresh produce was great quality as well. The store owner was very welcoming and friendly. Probably one of the best Indian stores in Charlotte quality wise. Cannot beat fresh samosas and rotis!

I like this store. It is really easy access to catch the light rail since its recently new & started the service. They are in competition with Indian Grocers & Patel Brothers but overall this store is better and the employees are friendly. They are also on this point system rewards program which you can get something for free once reach those points

This is probably the best Indian grocery store in Charlotte. The place is neat and clean and well stocked. The lady at the register who might have been the owner took pains to confirm with her cook that the samosas did not have any allergens although there was a line forming.

This Indian store is maintained neat and is organized. Vegetables are fresh. Has a lot of variety of snacks. Located on the North Tryon street and is easily accessible by taking light rail.

Poor customer service with rude behavior towards customers,pricey items, need to be kind to customers,learn something to please customers... lost me as a regular customer.

Literally the rudest customer service. Everytime I go in they are just rude, and unhelpful. I will not ever give them my business. I called to ask a question about a product and the man who answered the phone ok mam-Im too busy right now you need to call back after 3oclock and hung up on me... mind you, I called at 11 am.Highly would recommend you go to Patel Brothers instead.

A very nice Indian grocery store. It has all the stuff Indian you need. If you cant find anything or veggies need restocking, just ask the uncle at billing counter. He will be more than happy to help. its a family business and owners are very nice

Its a good place for Indian grocery shopping offering student discount of 5% on Wednesdays. However, they keep items beyond best before dates. The items are not organized properly and a lot of them do not have price tags. ( This should be for Around the World Market on Hillsborough Street, Raleigh)

We get all Indian grocery items at one place, but the prices stickers will never match. Until we get to counter we dont know the price for Maximum products. At billing counter, the product is billed two times even though I purchased only one item, it happened for me twice. We have to check the bill there itself. Thursday day you get vegetables fresh.

This is a good Indian grocery place. They have almost all the indian stuff required. The vegetables are not great that is why I am giving 4 stars.They have a huge frozen section and their reward system is also very good.The staff is friendly and courteous.This is the nearest Indian market from North Charlotte so I like this place a lot.

This is a good place if you are vegetarian or vegan. It is still a good place if you are a meat eater or chef because the spices are cheap and often organic. The staff is accommodating and they do provide courteous customer service.

Good place to buy Indian grocery. Place is big and staff is friendly. They give certain points based on your purchase which you can redeem later.

Excellent selection. Very organized. Friendly, helpful service.If youve been to those tiny, crammed Indian stores with bags of rice and boxes of old Bollywood videos blocking the aisles, this one is quite different. Its a very open layout. You can see what youre looking for just like a modern grocery store.

Conveniently located just beside the Tom Hunter light rail station. A wide variety of indian products are available, not as big as Patel Brothers and a bit pricy too. Quality is comparable to Patels, much better than Gandhi International Market.

Better than other indian grocery places in North Charlotte . More variety available. If you want fresh veggies, go on Thursday and Saturday evening. More expensive than Patel brothers and India Grocers. Be careful when buying stuff on sale here, it could be well near or past its expiry

Great service, sufficient stocks

Prefer this store to the other big player in Charlotte coz: reward points, offers on many products, wide variety to choose from, found veggies to be relatively fresher, friendlier counter service. Please have fresh somosas available every day, its such a nice addition. And bring back the cane juice guy!! Tea isnt a bad idea either.

Free standing Indian product supermarket. Has fresh produce and a large rice selection. Owner and employees are very helpful. Store is clean and well organized.

Found everything needed, they even sell handmade fresh samosas.the vegetables were very frshf. Pack of onions lasted long time without being rotten, not even a single onion was rotten.

Fresh green vegetables, Laxmi brand groceries and everything else at reasonable prices. They usually run deals that are not available elsewhere such as BOGO free Pani Puri, etc. Reason for 4 start rating - they sometimes run out of essential items forcing you to visit another grocery store.

Good place to purchase Indian Groceries, produce, Snacks, organic spices. Place is wheel chair accessible. It has restrooms, free parking. Helpful staffs. You csn pay by cash or credit card.

Stores well organized, not too cluttered (like most Indian stores). Vegetables were ok they day we visited.They serve fresh sugarcane juice - which is amazing!

I have been looking for an Indian Market for some time now, and really did not expect anything of this calibre. They have everything I want, plus so much more. The staff is friendly, there is a huge selection, and the prices are very good. Unlike some markets I have been to it is very bright, and well organised, and I must say the owner, Paresh Patel, is very gracious and enthusiastic. There is a boutique inside where it appeared Saris were being made, a section of Hindi and Tamil films and music, nice fresh produce, tons of spices, cooking accoutrements, incense, frozen appetizers and entrees, and a cosmetic/chemist section. I was pleasantly surprised. They is also a good customer reward program, which by joining you can get free items as you earn points by shopping. If you love Indian food, or are just curious, I highly recommend you stop in and check it out.

I like staff they are good. I think this shop is just busy because no other Indian store near by. I find owner to be very irresponsible. They sell expired good and the owner feels its OK to sell them. I was so fuming when I called this guy back after realizing I bought expired limca(soda)cans ... Ohh god .. he drove me mental.

A good size indian/pakistani grocery store that offers all stuff you need for your cooking needs. They have fresh vegitables frozen veg, sweets, savory, grocery items, masalas, rice, wheat and different other grains and flours. Accessible location and a clean place with comfortable parking space on North tryon, can be accessible by car train and i believe there is a close by bus stop. Will sure recommend to visit when you have a need.
