Excellent service. The place is very well laid out and they even has areas to sample what the stones look like after install. The employees were very accommodating and had a lot of expertise to offer. I’ll be back again.

We buy 90% of all our products used for jobs from here. Great family ran business that cares about the contractors needs. We have given input on things to carry so we could buy more there and they took the suggestions and started carrying the products. Thanks Markham family for caring.

If you want organic matter (leaves, twigs, ect) stuck in the clean stone you pay top dollar for; go to Markham. You will see in the photos its not just a leaf here and there its all throughout the stone. As a business catering to landscape professionals this is unacceptable. I dont know about you but when I pay top dollar for clean 67 stone, it better be clean. I dont know about anyone else but would you do a french drain, concrete slab, or even pavers with this junk in the base? Now I gotta pay a guy 25/hr to pick leaves out of stone thats 60 bucks a yard! No wonder why big chains like site one are pushing out these smaller players since they cant compete on price or quality.

Extraordinary customer service! Mindy is a top notch expert on product quality and availability. Not only did she give me a highly competitive price, deliver the product and all the materials to install as promised, she followed up to make sure I was a happy customer. ALSO - Markham had a product that was backordered 3-6 month everywhere else in Charlotte. Mindy told me she knew the product delivery time was getting longer so she ordered more than in past years to have on hand for her customers. Highly recommended!

I visited the Harris Blvd and Denver locations for figuring out my patio job (DYI). The Denver store has more selection. These guys were very helpful and picking out items and backfill for my needs. I used every ounce of material, probably could have used a little more. There was an issue, delay in delivery and the manager called to let me know and gave me a discount. Better pricing then Onesite. Very happy with the service and pricing.

Been in the landscaping industry for 23 years and have to say that Colton in the Charlotte branch has always gone WAY above the call. He and his team have always taking fantastic care of me and my guys. The best customer service in this industry. Knowledgeable, responsive, friendly and very professional. Markham is a great resource to have close by. Their staff is exceptional, knowledgeable and very friendly . Their equipment operators are especially exceptional, they can load 1/2 yard of anything into the back of my truck. Their prices are great! I would never again go to the hardware store for anything Markham sells, youll pay 2x or more for the same stuff.

Shop both lake view and Denver. Harris has more selections but Denver is best organized and great staff can get you what you want. Austin and Tim are the best. Recommend both. Give Markham Five stars

The service and selection are fantastic! I have made small purchases over the years for DIY projects, and am always treated like I was their biggest customer.

I got there 10 minutes before it closed and the staff told me that I couldnt get some garden soil because they were ready to close. I was very disappointed. I do not recommend this place.I was there last saturday. The location was in charlotte near W.T Harris.

I called ahead to make sure they had what I needed and sold it ( river rocks) in small quantities, which they did. I went there and I was greeted immediately. The gentleman showed me the selections to chose from and took me to the product. I told him how many I wanted and he loaded the bags in he car. I also ended finding something else I needed saving me a trip to another store. They have good prices and I experienced great customer service.

Live in Mooresville. Visited your Denver NC location several weeks ago, great selection and knowledgeable staff. Even though we arrived 10 minutes after closing, the manager Dave, stayed and spent close to an hour walking us around the lot explaining all the different stone types. Found everything we needed and ended up getting some design ideas we hadnt thought of. Our patio looks great. My neghbors will be visiting you soon. Will definitely be a repeat customer. Several more projects to come!

These guys have great landscaping products at a good price. Its a shame their attitude is not as good. I have been here several times recently, and they are usually rude and have a pissy attitude. I went in to check if they had a specific product, they didn’t carry that product but the representative was very courteous and gave examples of similar products I could use. O

First time here the experience was great. I went back a month later to buy the same product, I get charged an extra 15%. When inquired I was told I was lucky the first time. Where doesn’t it show a 15% upcharged if you are not a contractor. Beware of who you deal with and deceptive practices!Follow up: I am not challenging your pricing. I am challenging your practices when it is not consistent. It wasnt my first time purchasing from you and when I have to pay 2 different prices for the same product and quantity it is troublesome. Some will call it price discrimination and I would agree with them.

Took over a month to get the stones. Nobody called me to let me know.....now they are charging 75% of the value of the stone to pick the remnants up from my house where they said it will cost 15% of the cost.No good customer service ( they say things that it is not true before selling the product to you ).
