We bought our first CNC router from Biesse in 2009 and our second in early 2020. Both machines are fantastically dependable and meticulously engineered. Any issues we have had ( very few ) have been quickly remedies with help from Biesse in NC and our local tech. Great machines, absolutely no regrets.
Spent a week for software training at Biesse America. The instructor was extremely knowledgeable about the product, respectful to all the class attendees, and more then willing to answer our questions or find the answers if he didnt have them. The facility is nice and clean, and the people there were courteous and kind, giving us advise about the area and making us feel at home. I give them very high marks.
Unfortunately our experience with Biesse has been terrible. We purchased an Akron 1430 direct through Biesse and it was shipped with less options than what we originally wanted and paid for. We decided to give them a chance and agreed to have them to remedy the situation. They attempted a retrofit 6 months later and had no engineering documentation to assist the technician in this process. There was no factory torque specification or lubrication for the different components. Since then major components have been replaced in attempt to get the machine running properly. Every component thats replaced is done so without any documentation or support from Biesses engineering department. We were hoping Biesse would be a good alternative to Stiles/Homag but they are nowhere close to the design, reliability, and service. We are now in a battle with Biesse to try get a new properly setup machine or a refund. Our case is not isolated because we have heard from other shops now with similar issues. I hope Biesse can grow and learn for their experience with us and others but unfortunately our confidence in them has been permanently damaged.
Not a good place to work. Only get paid once a month. So call new machine shop is poor.
We bought a edge banding airforce machine and a ingienier from Biesse, installed the machine. The heater for the airforce was broke twice and the company was saying the issues was an electrical problem. Now we dont understand if we buy a machine in American with Biesse and there install the machine too why there should be a issue with the Airforce machine? Before we have bought so many people from Biesse has open us the doors to buy this great machine but now nobody wants to hear our issues. Nobody answer the telephone and we cant not sell any of our products. We are very sad that we dont recieve a service that we should have recieved from begining when we bought the machine. We still dont understand if you sell a machine in USA there should be no issues with electricity when we buy a made in italy machine i think this should not be our problem. Is like having a Ferrari in the summer and not having a Air conditioning.
