This is our first Mazda purchase, I communicated via text and email with Mike Brooks, he was prompt, professional, and knowledgeable about his products!!! We made a deposit (unseen) on the ‘21 CX-5 Carbon Edition on a Thursday evening, we were going out of town the following day, for him to hold the vehicle until Monday when we returned. Unknown to us, he never ran the card and did it on good faith! Upon returning from our weekend trip we arrived at the dealer shortly around 5:00pm Monday evening, bought the vehicle, and finally left the dealership around 9:00pm, two hours after they closed!!! All the staff was helpful and prompt in every aspect of the buying process!!! We received top dollar for our trade with minimal haggling!!! The process was streamlined and fairly simple compared to previous experiences at other dealerships… Ask for Mike, you won’t regret it!!!

They turned what could have been a bad day right around.Me and my fiancée were closing were set to close on our house when we found a dreaded nail in our front tire with it almost being completely flat with us knowing there was no way we would make the hour drive to our closing. When panic started to set it we decided to give the Service Department at Joe Maus Mazda a call. I was greeted by Priscilla Gomez who went above and beyond to ease our stress. She quickly arranged a loaner for us while we had our Mazda towed. Once greeted there, Brandon inspected our tire as we were checking in and informed us that the best approach would be replacing both front tires as the nail had punched directly in the sidewall and the tires both were low on tread. We got a quoted two new tires and Priscilla was very helpful knowledgeable to pick the best two to fit our budget!We left in our new loaner and were able to close on our house and pick up our car ready to go all in the same day! None of this would have been possible without the help and care from the great service team at Joe Maus Mazda!I’ll be sure to come back for any of my automotive needs and I recommend everyone to do the same!

This has been the worst experience when buying a car. We bought a car a couple of weeks ago and we went to Independence Mazda because they were recommended by a family friend. We now regret having bought a car from them. When we chose a car we liked and we asked the salesman Sam, what the price was or anything about the financials on multiple occasions his response each time was expensive with a smirk on his face. We were told that the car would get an oil change, which we thought it did but when we were driving down to another state because of a family emergency the car started to warn about an oil change due, so we call them and they said they just forgot to reset the computer and we trusted them, but when we look at the oil change sticker on the left corner it says that the last oil change was supposed to be at 43,431 miles, when we bought the car it had a little over 55,000 miles, meaning no oil change had been performed and they lied about it. The next thing was about the monthly payment, we were told the first payment would be on August 8th, but to our surprise it was charged not even 2 weeks after we went to buy the car, so a month before they said the first payment was due. When we called to ask about it they said it shouldve been explained to us by Hailey, which it wasnt. Lack of communication seems to be something they enjoy. The last thing and why we decided to write this review is that we went to pick up the license plate because they didnt want to mail it as it could get lost in the mail according to them, well to our surprise once again, they gave us someone elses license plate and registration. How unprofessional and irresponsible do you have to be to make that mistake? Do you know what couldve happened if the police pulled us over and the license plate and registration belongs to someone else? They have made what shouldve been something exciting into a horrible experience, and not only that putting our safety at risk because they lied about a service they were supposed to perform 10,000 miles before we even showed up to purchase the car. If youre thinking of buying a car do yourself a favor and go somewhere else because theyre unprofessional, and irresponsible.** Regarding your response, that is funny considering the fact that I just put the tag on the car last night myself. Also love how selective you are with what you respond to, completely disregarding the other issues encountered with your store.

Beware when purchasing from these Guys. They will lie about what they give you. I did the entire transaction over text so I have proof on writing. They offered me $1,100 on my trade in with a $300 credit. When they brought me the paperwork I was at work and busy. I assumed they were an honest business and would have the same information as we agreed upon. Turns out they only gave me $700 for the trade in and not the $300 credit. I immediately tried to fix it and text them. Mike told me it was his mistake and he’s get me the proper paperwork tomorrow. It’s been 3 weeks and the last message I got was to let them repo it if I don’t like.. or upgrade and get a “sick deal”. Beware of these scammers. They will pressure you and answer every question but not stick by their word.then once they stole your money they tell you to go and deal with it. Horrible customer service. Liars about the pricing and after I refused the “extra warranty” somehow ended up with 2k package on the car that included putting Joe’s Mazda stickers on my car. Yep they charged me $2,000 to be stuck with their promo stickers. Horrible experience and they pretend to care but actually are worse than the used car places. Buyer beware and don’t trust these guys

Joe Maus has a seasoned service department that goes the extra mile to help out their customers. Priscilla and Bobby are excellent advisors and have always given us their best effort. I was so happy with the service we bought a car from them. We will definitely go back when it’s tome to upgrade.

The technician that diagnosed my vehicle was completely wrong about the repairs that needed to be done on my vehicle. I feel that they were just trying to get over on me and have me waste a bunch of money for unnecessary repairs. Took my car to South Charlotte location and the only thing that my car needed was an alignment and new tires. Gotta love the way this establishment takes advantage of people like this.

Had to get a new transmission in our 2014 CX-5 and they did a wonderful job keeping us informed on what needed done, how long it would take and the price. That said, based on price alone, its cheaper to do minor upkeep yourself and leave major work or milestone maintenance to the professionals. Also, there were a few snags in their electronic communications that they said would be addressed with the company who maintains that side of things. Overall, a pleasure to deal with.

Noah & Jack worked their magic and helped me upgrade my lease all via text and had every piece of paperwork ready for me the next morning so I could get to work on time. Car buying isn’t always pleasant and can take up a lot of your time but the whole team works fast and always listens to what I need most!

Worst experience ever! Predatory behavior, as seen in most dealerships. Never received any information on my warranty coverage or protection-related plans. I have been unable to contact them for months regarding my query. The finance agent conveniently left out a $200 dollar smart pay fee.
