I have been in the world of the high end for over 22 years and have experienced many dealers and many sales / transactions so I have a pretty good basis for what is good and what is not. I came to find liquid hifi through searching for a local audio store after swearing off buying hifi equipment online without listening to them in person. I reached out to Ronald by email and explained to him how I was looking to make my first serious step into the high end headphone world. After discussing what my goals were, he made a few suggestions for headphones and amplifiers which aligned with what my research had led me to.We set up an appointment to demo out the options we discussed and I was able to audition a variety of headphones and amps which was enabled me to confidently make a decision that I knew I wouldn’t regret. At the end of the day, I decided on the amp we discussed over email but I went with a cheaper model of headphones than I thought I would have after directly comparing them in person. Ronald even matched the price seen online which had been lowered just a few days earlier.Beyond this specific purchase, Ronald also the me demo a recently released turn table with my own vinyl as well as some other equipment that he carries. Listening to the wide range of equipment in the showroom wastogether, coming to liquid hifi was an invaluable learning experience and Ronald is an experienced audiophile who seems to have your best interest at heart.I feel validated in my choice to buy from a local store and any future audio purchase will absolutely start with liquid hifi and I will seek Ronald’s audio advice for all things audio.

Working with Ron (Liquid Hifi) was tremendous. He provides a customised personal support once you get in touch with him on your audio needs. My experience began when i reached out to him with an interest on KEF LS50s and an amplifier. He immediately responded with few suggestions on the amps close to my budget and also gave package quotes. After few email exchanges, we scheduled an appointment after shortlisting to demo on KEF LS50, KEF R300, DYNAUDIO EXCITE X 18 with PARASOUND Halo Integrated amp and HEGEL 160. On reaching there we spent close to 2 hours listening the listed equipment. I eventually finalised on KEF LS50s and DYNAUDIO X18. We liked Dynaudio X18 better but were skeptical on the price difference as LS50 was on sale for $1199 and DYNAUDIO being $1799. Thats when Ron went that extra mile to bring down the price on DYNAUDIO to fulfill our needs without breaking our pocket.(I guess only a true audiophile would understand the customer needs and Ron is one of them). All this happened without even me requesting for a discount which pretty much impressed me. I ended up ordering DYNAUDIO X 18 + PARASOUND HALO Integrated + AUDIOQUEST cables right away. Once he received the equipment we finalised a day when he dropped in my apartment to set up. We are just glad to have done business with Rons Liquid Hifi and have already recommended to friends and family. As long as i am in US, i would only reach to Ron for any of my audio needs.
