Went here for an oil change the other day, two service bay lines were busy so I left and came back an hour or two later and just one car in the service bay so they seem to move cars quickly. When I came back and was told it would be about 45 minutes because the mechanic was having trouble with the vehicle in the bay I regretfully agreed to wait instead of going somewhere else. That’s the good part now the bad.When the service writer or whatever his title is checked in my car he never checked with me to see if in fact I wanted the same oil change as last time he only asked what I was there for (in a decently polite way).Except for waiting for them to start working on my car I stuck around so I saw my car driven around front but was never told it was ready I just walked inside to pay. This happened the last time I was here when I walked somewhere else in the shopping center and was never contacted once my car was done. They don’t even bother putting the sticker on your windshield for when you’re due for for your next oil change. They also don’t reset the oil life tracker in my car. Last time I had to Google how to do it myself. Not a huge deal the paperwork says the vacuumed my car. Either they used a toy vacuum or didn’t do it all because I did it that evening when I got home due to the fact it needed it and I finally had time to do it plus jiffy lube didn’t.I had a coupon which is one reason why I went here and I know this location doesn’t set their prices and what’s included in their services so I don’t blame them but I could have gone somewhere closer to work for a synthetic oil change, had more included like a tire rotation and paid less even when the coupon. I would have needed an appointment at the other place which I’ll do next time but I didn’t need one here which is the other reason I came to jiffy lube.
Stopped in to have my oil changed at Jiffy Lube Goldsboro NC, even tho I was not due yet mileage wise. Asked them to let me know how far down on oil I was I thought I had a leak. They not only said I didnt have to get the oil change done until the mileage date, they topped off my oil for no charge because I had my last oil change at a Jiffy Lube in VA. HIGHLY RECOMMEND 10/10
It was a great experience! Friendly customer service. My technician had great Knowledge of products and services. He made very much needed recommendations. Zack was the assistant manager on duty. He was warm, friendly, helpful and kind. I’ve been getting oil changes at Jiffy Lube Pantops and on 29N in Charlttesville VA and it has always been a success for me. The mechanics here did an excellent job at taking care of my vehicle. I bought it with unbeknownst to me, shot rotors and brakes. The staff was incredibly professional and answered every question and concern I had.There was some confusion it seemed between the managers, the one on duty was quite curt with me to put it nicely when I had some billing questions and didn’t seem to want help. It seemed more like he just wanted me gone as fast as possible. It was really unfortunate, which is why I only gave 4 stars.Despite that, the mechanics and office staff were able to help me and that meant a lot while dealing with this stressful situation.I’ll likely go back to this Jiffy Lube in the future despite the manager’s temper because the mechanics were so kind and knowledgeable and helped me avoid a potentially dangerous situation with my brakes.Thank you guys!
Got an oil change here in June. Took ages and they didnt perform all the items on the checklist, despite having checked them off. (If you are skipping the things I can see, like vacuuming, what are you skipping that I cant see under the hood?) It was a busy day, so I resisted leaving a review until today, when I discovered that they NEVER REPLACED MY AIR FILTER AFTER SHOWING IT TO ME. I never should have trusted that they did a thorough, adequate job. Never, ever returning to Jiffy Lube.
I brought my car in for an oil change and brake pad replacement. I had recently had other brake work done at a dealership, and was already having new problems with the same brakes. Jiffy Lube staff helped diagnose the problem and replace the parts quickly and for a fair price. Ill definitely be returning for future service.
These guys were super, truly! They put a cargo carrier rack on my Rav4 quickly and saved me money in doing so. They were very polite and helpful and I couldnt have been more pleased. There was a glitch in that I couldnt find the keys necessary to keep the carrier from jarring but they took some bungee cords I had and attached the carrier so I could get home to find the keys. Thanks Jiffy Lube! I will add that I have had other services by them that were so much less money than other places Ive priced. Ive never been unhappy with my service at this particular Jiffy Lube.
The staff at this jiffy lube was on point. It was my first time taking my work vehicle in and he explained the process, how it worked, and was exceptionally helpful and fast. Absolutely getting repeat business.
Service was fast and the staff was polite. I went here in pinch before a trip. A little on the pricey side. $75 for full synthetic oil change and it was obvious they didn’t vacuum or wash the Windows as they advertise not that those perks were of any value to me. Probably won’t return but it’ll do in a pinch.

I own a 2002 Honda CRV it has 293,000 miles I maintain my oil change every 3,000 rather then 5,000 never used any other oil or oil filter designed for Honda’s as well as transmission fluid spark plugs and wires My first visit ever to JiffyLube (Pantops location) Marshal and Nick the district manager got me nowhere I’m seeking Adam Tathem the CEO NOBODY WANTS TO GIVE ME A CONTACT NUMBER REGARDING COMPLAINTS,I ordered a brand new ac compressor from Autozone picked up brand new never taken out of the box the mechanic Joe was assisting Robert to install the compressor and change the serpatine belt Joe stated that he broke a plug on the new compressor so he took the old plug off the old compressor and put it on the brand new one and sautered the wires since picking my car up paying cash payment for the repair my compressor is making loud noises it’s shortening out my tension pulley is loose and my motor has been knocking and missing I’ve talked to manager and district manager they refunded my 45.00 they charged me to fix their damage lol this case is going to move forward with civil and I’m getting better business bureaus involved the guys in the shop we’re very unprofessional mechanics proof of mastered license in mechanical and electrical and ac will be requested also proof of active employment with JiffyLube Joe damaged my brand new part but because I got the part myself they will not warranty their negligence and labor although they get all their parts from Autozone ?? I’ve reached out again to Nick for Higher up Adam Tathem to contact me or to get me the resources to reach him before taking matters into my own hands but I can’t get a return call from Nick, I’ve left message on voicemail as well as with Marshall so with all said and done this matter will be brought to public attention I’ve got several people that can state how this location has messed up their cars almost blown engine’s up and they’re willing to be witnesses on my behalf have your papers ready and have your top NOT TOP NOTCH MECHANICS ROBERT & JOE BE PREPARED Thank you for severely damaging my car and not acknowledging your screwed up mechanics work jiffy lube is a formal place of business not a backyard slop shop!

I will not be going back to this location. I showed up at 3:15 on a Wednesday. I was told by the attendant that they would have my car done in 30-35 minutes. After asking multiple times, I was told that they were working on it and it will be done soon. After 2.5 hours, they finally called me back to pay. I asked if there was a discount thatIcould get as I was waiting 2 and a half hours and was now 45 minutes late for work. He said I gave you a $10 coupon. When I told him that wasnt good enough, he smiled at me and said there was nothing else he could do for me. I will be going back to the dealership from now on. Very poor customer service and the employees here dont care. I should not have had to pay over $60 with the experience I had. They also never asked me what type of oil/filter I wanted. 0 stars if I could. I hope to hear from someone in upper management about this terrible experience.
The overall experience was good. The staff is hard working and amazing. Due to an unexpected issue I was there a lot longer than I had planned to be, but this allowed me to see them all hustling and working as a team to satisfy customers. They even stopped to help a lost little old lady. They resolved my issue and got my vehicle back into good working order. Thank you staff, you made a huge difference.
I asked them to fill the freon they only added one can my vehicle takes one and three quarter cans and they charged me a hundred bucks
If the emplyees didnt argue so much maybe my truck would have been done right. Oil leaking like crazy where the filter is. Not cook and very expensive. Never going back.

Went in for an oil change and was excited for the quick service but when they were done the car magically had an oil leak. I was pretty sure this wasn’t the case prior to me bringing the car in, so I refused the offer to have their tech take a further look at it. I bring the car to my normal mechanic and he tells me nothing’s wrong but whoever did the oil change put the cap back in the wrong place. Check the condition of your car before coming here in case they try to pull a fast one on you.
The last few times Ive been here the service has been INCREDIBLY slow, despite the fact that I pulled right in to a bay and there were only one or two other customers on site. At one point I think they may have actually forgotten about me. Inattentive and sluggish customer service overall. When oil changes are advertised as a 15-30 minute service, but end up taking over an hour, its disappointing.
I have been to many jiffy lubes in my lifetime and usually in and out 20 to 30 minutes. It took an hour and a half once my car got into the bay. Ill know not to go to this one again

Worker was rude me and my girlfriend. Worker visibly expressed a feeling of distain and left my girlfriend in tears with how he chose to conversation with her in comparison to other customers.
Nice staff good customer service. I got an oil change Friday check it today it was a quart in a half low. They put my wind shield wipers on right. But then today I check under the hood my air filter hose was disconnected. Guess they forget to do that. And also my fluids weren’t top off.

This Jiffy Lube is the worst run place in charlottesville. Steer clear. Management is lacking a backbone and the employees act like they do not want or need to work. No attention to detail, poor customer service, poor attitudes, lazy and no work ethic. Find you a mom and pop business that pays attention to your vehicle like its your own. No telling what condition your car will be in when you get it back.

Been there many times with the same truck this time the boy that checked us in with NO MASK on said the truck was not in the computer. Went in got a tablet come back out slamming down on the hood and started asking name and address. Never one time with a mask or a smile. There was 2 people sitting at the door smoking and the employees never told them to move or by state law cant smoke at a door after we asked a few times. And it took 45 minutes to change oil after the truck was inside (they was not busy)

I went in for an oil change and they left my car on after the oil change. This killed my battery and caused my parking brake to temporarily malfunction. They did jump my car which is why they get a 2 vs a 1 star.

The Jiffy Lube businesses in Charlottesville, VA have been changing my oil for several years now. I just had my 100,000 mile checkup on my car, and my engine is running good. I like that they almost always have a coupon for $5 - $7 off a basic oil change. Theyre always friendly and quick. I like that I can go on the weekends or on evenings after work. I also like the comfy waiting rooms. While they will sometimes suggest additional purchases, Ive always been able to decline easily. No high pressure sales.
Ive never been so disrespected by customer service. Absolutely unprofessional and incompetent. This guy took my keys saying that he understood what I need, and after waiting in a waiting room for 25 mins someone came up to me saying they do not know what my car is and what i need, the that took my keys just went on a break without saying anything to me or his coworkers.

UPDATE: My air filters were not fully connected after my oil change, resulting in my check engine light coming on today. I have to clean my mass air flow sensor and hope that resolves the issue. The speedy oil change skimped on some crucial details.This franchise is terrible for anything but an oil change. I specifically came here because I thought I could get a state inspection and oil change at the same time. They no longer do state inspections. They also upsold my oil change by adding a brake pad change without giving me a choice. I was then forced to wait over 1.5 hrs for my car without explanation while over 6 people came and left with full service. I found out the brake pad customer in front of me brought the wrong brake pads for her car, and there was only one multi-car specialist. When I paid, they didnt even add the $10 coupon I got in the mail for being a loyal Jiffy Lube customer on my $250 bill. If you need tires or brake service, anywhere is better than this poorly managed Jiffy Lube franchise.

If I could give a minus one I would. Shanta is wonderful but I went there and got an oil change and they blew my motor up and expected me to go get the rental care and pay for it. Here I set week later with no car . The motor was suppose to arrive friday which didn’t and of course they will put a rebuilt motor in it. I went in with a dependable old car and now have nothing
I just had a terrible experience. Didnt do half of the list I had and took 3 hrs to do an hours worth of work which wasnt completed. Will never return to this location or any other unless I am absolutely desperate
Took my car for an oil change and when I drove away the motor blew due to no oil in the car. They refused to take responsibility and fix their mistake of not putting oil back in my car. Now having to go through a court process and am out of a car to be able to take car of my kids as Im a single mom. They even agreed that my car had oil when I arrived and in order for my motor to blow up the way it did I drove it away with no oil in it and still refuse to fix what they broke. The car was in perfect running condition and was just purchased a month before this. Will never recommend them to anyone
As a woman it can be difficult to find a place to service your vehicle. Today I walked in and asked for an array of services from oil change to tire rotation. I asked to be put in line for state inspection. I was told there was a three hour wait for inspection, which I couldn’t do. While in line to pay for my oil change etc., a man walked in and he was told there is absolutely no wait for inspection. They don’t take appointments, so I confronted the mechanic about how the man who came in a good 30 minutes after me was able to receive inspection services immediately. His response was to put me “in line,” so I have a two hour wait. Pretty shameful and very sexist. Then he tried to sell me tires. Won’t be returning here. Just a word to the wise for other ladies in the area. While waiting I overheard staff laughing about how they were going to “make sure our service takes longer” because I spoke up.

First of all let me start out i have been a loyal customer to this franchise for SEVERAL YEARS. Today was very bad service from the matience staff which resulted in a call for there customer service to call the franchise owners. So i showed up around 8:20am stated to the employee mark and jose i would like just a standard oil change. Waited 45 mins. Wondered what took so long (only customer in 20 mins). After i payed shante(WHO is the most wonderful customer service) she stated that my bill was $54 i stated i just got the standard oil change $39.99 as i always do. She called for mark (one of the managers) she apoligized and fixed the bill. So i get in the car after services are finished drive down the road and realized my car was not wiped or vaccumed like it normaly is as well as my items in the center console were moved around. So i call the customer service and explain my things were moved and nothing was cleaned. As well my parking pass was thrown away. Manager said oh yea i remember you hold on. . Oh i dont know what happened. So now im waiting for franchise manager to comp me for my missing parking pass and auxilary cord that was thrown away. I consider this stealing and providing services that were not requested checked my oil stick it is only 3/4 the way filled up took it to another mechanic just now and they stated they put 5w/30 oil when 5w20 is what my car takes. This is completely unacceptable.
Tony, Shanta and crew really take care of things, every time. Our whole family goes to this Jiffy Lube and they always overdeliver. We have trusted them with additional services beyond oil changes and its been fast and done right every time.
Went to gwt an oil change. It was under my husbands name and blew my motor up. I will be suing unless they come up to fix it.

One of the techs (Richard) was completely unprofessional when speaking to me. He was very rude and then blatantly said in front of the entire shop that I was wrong for not wanting to pay after that location messed up my car. They replaced my rotors and suddenly the e-brake/parking brake does not work. Me being a mechanic listening to his explanation they are ripping people off. (Edit) the manager Tony has worked with me to resolve the situation. Richard is no longer employed there and it was great to speak with someone who cares about the customer.
I had to return to this page and change my review and rating after I revisited Jiffy Lube.One of the most difficult things in life to do is to deal with the public. Some people are not reasonable or come in with a chip on their shoulder and impossible to please even if the service is given to them free. In other words, serving the public takes patience and diplomacy in which the manager, Earl, the is a perfect match for the job. I had an issue with a plastic guard (located under the car near the oil plug) dragging the ground. A few days after my oil change, I discovered that the guard was dragging the ground. I assumed it was something the service people did at Jiffy Lube. One will never know whether it loosened and dropped because I hit something on the highway or the service tech thought the plug was under the guard, pulled it down and did not place it back correctly. Nevertheless, Earl kindly went under the vehicle to assess the situation. He even took me under the car to show me the details and where the oil plug was positioned in relationship to the guard. He happily reconnected the tabs and made sure it was secure. Regardless of how it happened, Earl took it upon himself to make sure I was satisfied with his assessment and fix. My hat off to Brother Earl! He proved to be a good manager and public servant. In fact, all the people at Jiffy are good people. One lady at Jiffy Lube always makes sure I have a coupon (on my phone) so I can get a discount. Im grateful.A word about another review: For the person who complained that he was told his car needed 500 dollars worth of work at Jiffy Lube had no right to be upset. The staff go by certain criteria given to them by the owner (company). In my case, they showed me two filters that needed to be replace. I politely said no and went down to Advance Auto and replaced them myself saving 40 dollars. I was GRATEFUL that they pointed out that I needed to change my filthy filters.... Otherwise, if they did not point this out to me, my vehicle could had suffered damage due to dirty filters. So to the person who thinks he is being deceived at a 500 dollar service recommendation, simply take note what needs to be done and chose where to take the vehicle to get it reassessed or fixed. Actually they did you a favor by pointing out some issues. I understand that a poor widow may not be able to make a correct judgment when approached with a recommendation by the service tech and that really is a serious issue.In closing...thank you Earl for taking care of my vehicles issue. I hope the owner of the company realizes that they have a top-notch manager is paid accordingly. My guess is that all the staff is under paid.

Best fastest oil change in town. I normally use the one on Berkmar so I can wash car next door, but this is the only one that does inspections. Got here at 08:10 for inspection and tire rotation and it took about 90-100 minutes. I will say the bench outside is not very comfortable. There prices seem on par to everyone else.
We were driving through to central PA on a spare because we ran over a screw. NTB said they were going to take 3-4 hours! I called Jiffy Lube and they said Bring it in, itll only take a couple minutes!. They were SO kind. The manager took my vehicle back right away and started working on it. Less than 20 minutes later, it was fixed. I asked how much and he said NO CHARGE! It was basically the best possible scenario we could have hoped for when traveling 4.5 hours. It made what could have been a stressful event turn into a positive story. I would HIGHLY recommend.
They always tell me it will take 1-2Hours but they are usually done within 45 min.I have not been able to get an inspection thats well overdue bc every time I show up they tell me the wait is 3 hours. Oil change is fine but 3 hours for inspection is nuts considering it shouldOnly take 15-20 minutes to complete.The people are always friendly (specifically the woman who checks everyone in and out)
Dropped my truck this morning for an oil change and radiator coolant. Specifically asked for my window to be put back up, and my truck locked without my keys in it, because i needed to be seen at med express next door.I come back three hours later to my door unlocked, my window down and my key in the ignition. Anyone could have taken whatever they wanted.Complained, the manager hid away from me, they offered me 10% off but thats all they could do.Where is the proffesionalism? I never complain about anything, but my sisters ashes and my dead dads irreplacable artwork are sitting in the front seat.

We had a 220.00 pair of polarized Raybans stolen from the cabin of our SUV today. we had to leave my girlfriends SUV at the Jiffylube to do the brakes on it and get the oil changed. There were 5 people who were in the cabin of the vehicle during its time at Jiffylube. Herb, Chris, Payne and Shawntae. One of these five people stole my girlfriends polarized Raybans. Before she left Jiffylube she told the District Manager who was at that shop today. He promised her he would look at the camera footage. She couldnt wait because she had to be at her second job within the hour from picking it up. So she left and I went in at 17:00. The district manager really seemed uninterested that there was a theft at one of his stores and that he employs a thief at the Pantops location. We watched the video on his Android phone together while he did stuff on his iPhone which he said was a work phone. I took down the names of the five people who were in the cabin of the car. whoever stole the glasses left a lug nut wrench in the passenger seat. I still have that. The security camera they use is a Nest cam and it went out twice in the time that the vehicle was in the shop. The DM did not show me who drove the car in to the bay and could not show me who drove the car out of the bay next door after the brakes were done. after reviewing all the footage I let him know that we were filing a police report. upon leaving I let the waiting customers know that this location employs a thief and told them all what happened.look, I dont care if you bring your car here or not. just know that if you do, your personals will be gone through and anything of value may be stolen. the glasses were in the tray beneath the radio, in their glasses case. they were less than a month old and given as a Christmas gift. Your vehicle is not safe at this location. Their security camera failed twice while the vehicle was in their possession, for about twenty minutes each time. If something of your is stolen from you while under the care of Jiffylube at Pantops, know that the District Manager, a short squatty gentleman with glasses, will not care that your item was stolen. We did not have an adverse interaction. Nice guy, but couldnt care less about anything going on under that roof. He didnt even mind when I was telling the waiting room full of people what had happened.Me personally, Ill never spend money at this location, or at a Jiffylube at all ever again. My girlfriend has trusted this place for years and we will never bring another vehicle there because they knowingly employ a thief and dont really care about the integrity of your vehicle or its belongings. Good luck with that. I doubt this was a one off instance. Id be willing to bet others have had items from their vehicle stolen from here as well. Poor service, poor managerial reaction a staff member breaking the law and stealing from customers.Look through ALL my google reviews. I almost always give a positive review. I never give 1 star unless its warranted. This place employs a thief and lets that clepto rummage through your vehicle without restraint.

I went there for an oil change and they ended up recommending $500 worth of transmission flushing and part replacements (air filters, new caps, etc.) Be sure to not fall for their tricks, traps and constant up-sales. Find a good local place like Peacock and stick with it. Jiffy Lube cant make money by doing cheap $30 dollar oil changes, so they have to try to squeeze money out of you in other ways. Never going back.
