Super-save doesnt really fit, its actually on the expensive side but it does carry some things I havent seen at any other small markets. They arent the kind of things I eat as Im vegetarian, however they arent carried at the big stores, they are specialty items like pickled pig feet.

If you can make it to Kroger or Food Lion.....GO- THIS PLACE IS OVER PRICED.However, the customer service is GREAT 👍

Nice local grocery store

I love going to Reids. I consider it my local market right here downtown. Their produce is quite lovely and they have organics here and there in the store. Milk, yogurt, coffee are three I remember off the top of my head. They have a good local bulletin board .. which are few and far between nowadays .. and I always appreciate them. They also have a video rental machine .. perhaps the only one downtown? I like the people who work there .. always present and straight forward and kind, without any frills. Love that. This past week I noticed they habe just a few options of fresh gluten free things .. loaves of bread, cookies, scones. I bought the bread and out wad surprisingly good. The cashier who helped me said the gluten free stuff it was all selling very well so they would surely keep having it. Yeah!

Ive been a resident for 10 years. This is the go-to store for produce and freshly butchered meat. The meat is cut fresh by their butcher and the best quality I have seen in town. Store is small, but has all the healthy ingredients anyone needs. The size actually makes it a pleasant place to shop compared to larger chain stores.

Reid Super-Save Market, is a Great store to shop at, Reids is well known for the Good meats that they sell and you can find most anything you want or need in this store, that you might not be able to find in others grocery stores. And the butchers will cut the meat to your liking. Also the prices are very reasonable for your pocket or purses. 😁😁💓💓

A hidden gem in plain sight. This is a tiny independent market with interesting stock. Fun beer aisle, local baked goods, a superlative butcher, good buys on day old goods, staples in every aisle. Could be better faced and organized, but thats part of the charm.

My husband shops at Reid Super Save Market on Preston about every other day. He appreciates the convenience of biking past on his way home from work to pick up whatever is needed for dinner.Tonight my sweet hubby’s bike was stolen from Reid’s while he grabbed a couple groceries to make dinner for me and our young children. After he paid he came to discover that his bike had been stolen. The folks at Reid’s were super helpful and showed my husband the security footage. The cameras showed the thief ride up on a different bike, discard that bike, and ride off on my husband’s bike. My husband called me to break the bad news and I headed over to Reid’s to pick him up.About fifteen minutes later I was on the phone with Matt at Blue Ridge Cyclery looking for information on the bike to share with the police for our report. You will never guess what happened next. The thief rides past on my husband’s bike! The staff at Reid’s must have been watching too because they came straight out of the store to ask, “Is that your bike?” I told Matt about the thief coming his way and he told me to hold on a minute. Less than three minutes later here comes Matt from Blue Ridge Cyclery riding up to Reid’s on my husband’s Trek bike. Matt said that he had hollered at the thief as he rode past and the thief abandoned the bike. We were stunned and amazed by how it all seemed to work out.By the way, we told the police dispatcher about the abandoned bike at Reid’s, the one discarded when my husband’s was stolen. As I was leaving Reid’s I met the person whose bike it was. It had been stolen from Random Row next door about an hour earlier. They were grateful to us and the police for helping them get their bike back so quickly.Reid’s shared their security camera footage with the police. Perhaps it will lead to the recovery of many other stolen bicycles. Thank you so much to the Good Samaritans at Reid’s. Our family really appreciates the help.

Try their bacon and store-made breakfast sausage. Not the place to go for Oreos or wild-caught salmon, but if you need collards and country ham ... make a stop. Great hamburger and pork butt.
