I was driving through from Connecticut and passed by this diner. I placed an order but my card wasn’t working. The owner comped my meal for me and the two waitresses, Dana and Holly we’re so welcoming and kind! The food was delicious and the coffee was really good! Super clean bathroom! ( I think that’s important especially during this time). Definitely make a stop in and enjoy the great food and super cozy atmosphere! Thank you again for a great morning/start to my road trip.

Honestly it was perfect New England for me. From cash only to the regulars who were filling the seats. Loves it..Hash browns were way over greased but the sausage gravy more than made up for it!

A genuine little diner by the road! Nice servers and good food, only open morning and lunch. Lots of comfort foods, all well executed and just the way you want it. Outside dining is available but the inside is cute and cozy. There is also a take-out window. Breakfast all day, too!

I tried the fishermans platter. Puts Ronnies to shame shame shame. Real quality seafood perfectly cooked I so enjoyed myself. If you live in Charlton you have to give them a try. The staff are pleasant, very conscientious hard workers. A truely great team. thank for an awesome meal.

Acoustic sound inside was a bit loud like our waitress. Cornbeef hash was more hash Browns than cornbeef, disappointing. Coffee not so good.

I had haddock and scallops with coleslaw and I was pleasantly surprised! The waitresses were friendly and prompt. And the Yankee Diner is very clean and all the patrons were friendly.

Always friendly service and good coffee. We have tried many of their menu item and all were great. I recently had the sausage benedict for breakfast and it was delicious. The hollandaise sauce was perfect. Chef Josh does a wonderful job and he has a great variety. I high recommend a meal at the Yankee Diner.
Weve eaten here a few times. The foods always been excellent, portions are very good, and the service has been good!!
Friendly waitress and clientele. Food is good but, so far, the stand out has been the beef stroganoff. Huge portion, very tender beef and took the rest home. It was just as good reheated. The only quibble was there was too much of the thin sauce. The taste makes up for it.

Service was ok. Waitress always smelled like weed and cigarettes really ruins my appetite... But on the plus side I was so glad Chef Josh was there to make my breakfast this morning !I hadnt seem him lately and thought he was gone.. Had the dark chocolate nutella strawberry french toast was so good!.. His food always comes out looking so delicious and he always comes out of the kitchen to see if we like his food which is a nice touch!.

Ordered three breakfasts to go, only one was correct. One was missing the Bacon and the other was supposed to be a egg white and ham sandwich on a english muffin. Instead we recieved an egg and ham omelet. Very disappointed. It seams to be the trend these days.
The remodel looks really good. The food was very tasty, the staff was very friendly. It is cash only so bring bills or use the in house atm. Indoor and outdoor seating. Stop by and give it a try.
Happy to have stumbled upon this charming little roadside luncheonette. Burgers were thick and tasty, if overcooked, but the real standouts were the daily specials: fully loaded Philly cheese steak and hit open-faced carved turkey sandwich with mashed potatoes made with real redskinned potatoes. Super friendly wait staff were very helpful with directions. Cash only, closes at 2 pm M,T,W, Sat. Open for dinner Thurs, Fri. Closed on Sundays.
Ordered the steak tips dinner and the Turkey dinner. Looking forward to ordering all week! Great selection on their menu. Great to have a real good home cooked meal made for pick up. This was OK. 1st time I have stopped there. The breakfast was so-so. Eggs were ok, sausage links were not hot and tasted very bland, home fries were good, toast was cold with margarin, coffee was ok. I will giv it one more try before writing it off comletely.
Waitress was nice, The place was done over nicely. But 3 things on the order was wrong! Arguing in the kitchen! Then there is no sign saying CASH ONLY. So of course you have to use there ATM machine. Not sure I would come back again.
