Ace Hardware in Chatham IL is a complete and clean local hardware store. The staff have been efficient and helpful. Every Ace garden center is a bit more different than the stores themselves and although this garden center is larger than others in the area it is also a bit pricier on potted plants. That said I have visited the inside store more often than two others closer to my home for a range of products and seldom have come away empty handed.

Phenomenal propane if your tank is 10 years or younger.If not your going to have to exchange until you get a good tank. The problem with exchanges is they only fill 15lbs of propane but ACE fills the tank full to 20lbs(which is what the tank was intended to carry). The exchange and fill are the exact same price but 5 more lbs is worth it

Its pricey, like the water in Chatham, but they had what I needed and all the staff I dealt with were knowledgeable and friendly

First time in this store. I was impressed, very helpful employee assisted with bolts for my auto alternator. Clean organized store easy to get in and out of. Recommend you try them.

I went to the Ace Hardware in Chatham yesterday morning. I needed a specific type of light bulb for my kitchen. The employee who helped me was very nice and knowledgeable. I probably would have bought the wrong light bulb without her help. The cashier was very nice too.

The Ace Hardware in Chatham has an excellent selection of parts and hardware. I gave it 3 stars because the prices are incredibly high. If you need something in a pinch I would go there, otherwise go to Menards. I understand the buy local pledge but not when an eye bolt costs at least 3 times the price of a competitor a few miles away.

Ace Hardware is some of the friendliest people you would ever want to do business with no matter where you go in the store youll find a person in a red vest there to help you and they know their stores well and would even load your car for you if youre buying something thats hard for you to manage.prices are fair items are, to what we needed our homes Ive always found the selection to be something that I enjoy.I tend to buy all of my grass seed from this store because they have seeds in bulk that have been selected for this area and not just some bag that came from some national distributor and theyve always been good grass.if you havent started chopping at Ace Hardware you should stop in and see what they have to offer I think youll find them to be one of those places that you will visit in nearly every weekend for something

Sometimes its better to go to the smaller hardware store rather than get lost it the giant competitors stores. Its always easy to find a worker for assistance and they are mostly helpful.

If you dont know exactly what you want or you do know and just cant seem to find it, (Like in the other two larger Home Improvement stores, Menards and Lowes) then this is the place to go; theyre very helpful, the prices are a bit higher but the service is worth the difference.

They switch products around so that you pay more than you think you should. Shelf prices are half the price of what they ring up as at the register. Things are already overpriced and then they try to trick you into spending even more

Lawn mower wheel lasted 3 months. The service guy (hard to understand) said too bad. This guy needs to be replaced. Wont be going to Ace anymore.
