I have been going to Monica to several months now. She’s been coloring it the blackest black you can get. Sunday I went to her asking to start the process of lightening my hair. This is a BIG ask. We started at 11am this past Sunday. By 6pm we had the most beautiful light honey brown. I am still completely amazed by how good of a job she did. I will literally never go to anyone else. She’s super nice and is a magician! I highly recommend her.

I tried out this dpHue Gloss in Copper color. I left it on about 15 minutes on damp clean hair and followed the bottle’s instructions of rinsing out etc. It really deposited a lot of color as you can see in the pictures. (I used gloves) It lasted for about 1 1/2 to 2 weeks. I was wanting to try the strawberry color but they did not have it when I went in. There were a few places in my hair where the streaks looked a little bit pink. Other than that it works nicely.

The best thing the salon ever did for me was **** up my hair. When I had to reschedule due to an emergency for my last appointment I never got a call back or a text or any other communication to reschedule my appointment. That was the best thing ever done for me at the salon. Now, I have a wonderful stylist who lightens my hair and does an absolutely amazing job and gets all the way down almost to my scalp for my lightening. which means I don’t leave the appointment looking like I already have six weeks of growth. I tried a couple of stylists. The second stylist I went to was supposedly a master stylist but the last time she did my hair it was so splotchy and I had a huge gap in lightening right at my widows peak that she was trying to hide with the style before I left! I had to move my hair to the side and show her that she needed to fix the dark spot right at the front of my head. She never got the color right; it didn’t matter how many times I told her I didn’t want yellow I wanted a light ashBlonde, it still turned out yellow. I ended up trying to lighten my roots and the hair along the front by myself for the first time in my life and I am a 40-year-old woman!! The photo was taken the day she did my hair. I left the salon looking like I had major growth. Do not recommend.

I would highly recommend Shaina at The Ulta at Hamilton Place. She waxed and tinted my brows and they look amazing!!! She is super nice and it was an overall great experience! Definitely will be going back! 😍

I went in to Ulta and got my eyebrows done by Shaina! She did a great job. She is a fantastic brow expert! I had a great time with her. I will definitely be back to see her!

While this store has a great selection and decent sales, the staff is a bit of a feather ruffler. More times than not, theyre too busy on their cell phones and talking to one another to even say hello; let alone offer help. You rewards status means zero to them and any extra perks youre supposed to get, get completely ignored by them.

My women enjoyed their time in the store. :-)

Shaina at the Brow Bar I does a wonderful on my brow wax and tint !! Clean, efficient, friendly - and the shape and color of my brows are great each visit !

3 stars since a staff helped me pick out a good skin care set. However, the atmosphere at the beginning didn’t feel welcoming. As I left, the staff thanked the lady in front of me for coming and “have a nice day” but I wasn’t met with the same service. The vibe wasn’t it.

I went in to bleach my hair i saw Monica she did an amazing job i am sooooooooooooooooooo extremely pleased with the way it turned out if I could give them more then 5 🌟 I would I am going to continue to go to ulta beauty from now on for all my services and I will continue to see Monica now as far as price it was pretty pricey but u pay for quality so as far as that goes it was worth every penny I paid. I am going to add before and after pictures I also got my eyebrows waxed while I was there and I was very pleased with this service as well they turned out better then any other place I have had them done the staff was amazing very friendly and just all around great individuals thank u ulta beauty for everything I will be back!!!!!!!!!!!

I’ve taken both my daughters at 2 different times for haircuts and They worked well with them. I’ve only bought a few products from their but the customer service has always been good.

I really wish this store was better and more stocked up. I been going to Hixson one cause there always much more neat and always have stuff stock up and dont have a billion employees harassing u with can I help u 😑 super annoying when you done told them your fine and u ask if you need help its like they all have ask you over and over really just makes me want leave. Its annoying that there never stock up you would think with all them employees standing around talking about lives and who mad at who stories you think they move and start stocking stuff so people can buy stuff please only ask once if someone really need help they ask thanks please stock more cause I hate driving all way up there for them be sold out of everything

I much rather shop at the Hixson location. I came by today to pick up some skin care items. When I came in a sales associate greeted me, no big deal, I told her I was browsing. Two minutes later comes and asks if Im finding everything okay, typically when someone is browsing theyre going to look at a lot of things? Hello thats why its called browsing? She proceeds to find me about five minutes later and tells me she knows everything and can help me. No thanks, Im browsing. There was another customer on the floor looking at something and she actually needed help, but the sales associate walked away and continued to watch me. Not even 3 minutes later, Im in the same aisle reading ingredient lists, another sales associate comes very close to me and asks if I need help and offers me a basket. I had two things in my hand, I said yes please and took a basket anyway. Im still browsing at this point and one of them comes into the aisle Im in and just stands there. There were several other shoppers in the store, but they seemed so concerned with me? Im not into being harassed while Im trying to shop. I should have just handed them the basket, saved my 200 $ and left.

My first time at this location was a bit disappointing. The ladies were nice but not very helpful. I asked for a few products and they kept telling me that they didnt have them and then offered me a more expensive version of other brands. Later on I found the products myself and felt like I had been lied to for the sake of Upselling. I hope that in the future these ladies can think about the customers prefrence and show more respect.

Great variety of high end makeup and regular makeup brands sold at pharmacies and grocery stores. They also have lots of hair tools and have a little beauty bar in the back that does waxing and other treatments.

Not cool. My wife went in to purchase some things and they opened up an in-store credit card without explaining to her that it would be a credit pull and affect her credit. We are in the mortgage buying process and opening up new accounts is not good, and my wife was under the impression that this account was instore credit, not an actual in store credit card.We instantly canceled the card (same day over the phone) and will be returning the merchandise and exchanging it for a cash transaction.In the future, don’t do your customers an injustice by not explaining the transaction properly.

I would like to praise the Ulta Hair Salon for their professional, friendly, talented, and expert service. The Hamilton Place location hair salon is managed by a Rachel, what an awesome manager obviously because as a long time customer I feel the harmony among the stylist. I have to rave about my stylist, Vegas, is the best and very educated in her profession. She operates with ease; color and cut while even helping her coworkers and walk up customers. Her manner in which she handles customers is awesome. I would panic if I had to go elsewhere for my hair maintenance. Ulta you have the BEST.

I came in Friday on a whim for the very first time. I decided I wanted to completely change my hair style. I wanted short and more blonde. I ended up cutting 13 inches off of my hair! Amber was my stylist and she did amazing! Absolutely blown me away with how great she did on my hair. This may be my favorite hair style to date. I have had a LOT of bad experiences in salons but this one was the best. I love both the cut and color. She was also very professional and made me feel very comfortable from the time I sat in her chair! I know she is newer to Ulta but I just wanted to say, Ulta made a FANTASTIC decision when they hired her! She will be my new stylist from now on! If you see this, thank you Amber! I have received SO many compliments!

This might sound pretty backwards but I like that they dont hover or keep asking me what I need or force a basket in my hands. They ask once maybe twice and thats it. I love it! Theres always someone within waving distance but I just love that they dont stay in my face.

I went in 2 months ago to have my hair colored a dark red with violet undertones. They told me that they would have to bleach my hair to achieve this color. I informed them that bleaching my hair would turn it orange and give my hair a bright red with orange undertones. They continued with the coloring despite my warning. I sat there for 5 and a half hours waiting to see what my hair looked like at the end. Closer to the end when washing the final color out of my hair, just like I said it was orange. I informed the young lady that I was very unhappy and wanted it changed. She informed me that they closed at 8:00 and it was 7:30. She proceeded to try to fix the problem and involved her manager (Rachael) a very hateful woman and very rude; to help her with recoloring my hair. They slapped on a darker red, waited 25 minutes and washed it out. They were happy with the outcome, I was not. They informed me to come back Monday of the following week to correct the issue. As soon as I tried to set up another appointment to have it corrected they closed due to COVID-19. They have now reopened and called to set up an appointment to correct my issue. I asked if there would be a charge and they said it would be 105 to correct my hair. I hung up the phone, I will fix my hair myself like I should have done in the first place. Never go here to have your hair done. Its not worth 275.00.

I love the store and everything they offer, but I wish the ladies up front werent so pushy about opening ULTA cards. I said No. more than once and the girl was so persistent. I hate being rude or even stern, because I know they make money from those but when a customer says no, quit asking.

I had my hair done at the salon today by Victoria. The store itself is super clean, and well-organized, and everyone I spoke to was very knowledgeable. The salon services wonderful, she worked on me until it was perfect, made sure I was happy with my color, and it turned out beautifully! It was truly a pleasure to have my hair done at Ulta today.

Ulta of Chattanooga has an exceptional staff. They are friendly and very knowledgeable about their products and services. They reasonably priced and are wonderfully located. My stylist, Rachel McClure, was knowledgeable, professional and courteous. She possesses exemplary artistry in her profession. I would recommend her to anyone who is seeking a premium, top-notch stylist that is both affordable and incredible at her craft!

They have everything

I purchase cosmetics from this ULTA location regularly, but had never utilized the salon. Saturday I found myself in a pinch. I wanted my hair styled for a holiday party. Was able to call and make an appointment with ease. Once I arrived the hair stylist Robin took excellent care of me and also educated me on all the services offered. I didnt feel like I was hearing a sales pitch and was happy to hear their hours operation! All of the staff was very friendly and welcoming. I will be back!

I will never return to this place ever. To elaborate a little, I had asked for a trim on my hair and was told the walk-in appointments were filled. So I went on toward the front of the store and was shopping; one of the girls had came up from the hair salon area and asked someone to cut this guys hair, who was I walkin...I just gave them a look that was not a happy one. I thought that was so unprofessional. So youre not going to trim my hair, but youll take somebody else. Also when you go to the front register, they are so rude and unprofessional. They want you to sign up for points and I did not want to do this and they just kept asking me. I would call it near harassment. I will never return. I really dont like giving bad reviews but it is what it is...

I go to Rachel, and she is wonderful! She is very professional with her work, does a BEAUTIFUL job with cut, color, and highlights. Nothing she doesnt do well IMO. Not to mention, she has the warmest, sweetest, kindest, most considerate personality ever. Such a pleasure to sit an hour or so in the chair visiting with her while she does her work. You will not be disappointed, I promise...and I dont write reviews, but I just had to this time. =)

Friendly knowledgeable staff, a favorite for my wife to shop and for me to get her gifts. They also do makeup which is fun if you have daughters.

I visited the Hair Salon and had Vegas cut my Hair she is wonderful. I drive from Ellijay Ga just to get my haircuts because she does such a great job. Took my mother to get hers done this last time and she was very please also. Great place and friendly staff.

Similar to the other low reviews, this store staff definitely needs more training. Unfortunately, this is the only ULTA close to my house and I dread going here. Every time I visit there is a problem and it’s hard to find someone for help although it’s many employees that’s present there.

I just went to Ulta Wensday for all over blonde and color correction. .mind u I went from red to blonde and it was a vibrant red too my stylist spent 7hours on my hair and still didnt charge what she could have by any means ! It was the absolute best salon experience I ever had!

I like shopping here. They have a large selection of beauty drug store and luxury products. I have heard horrible stories about some Ultas as far as customer service is concerned, but this one has wonderful customer service. Every employee is so nice even on the busiest day, even though 9× out of 10 I have a return when I come. This is due to me shopping online most of the time, because I live 30 min. away. They are never overly pushy and just helpful with many great suggestions.They must have very good management. I enjoy shopping here so so much. I spend way too much money every time I come.

Ive been to dozens of Ultas and this is the first time Ive encountered rude staff. I came across 2 staff at this location and both were rude.

This review is about the two awesome experiences Ive had at this location. First, I came in for some brow stuff & makeup. It was a few minutes before closing, but the floor associate that helped me out was awesome! She color matched me perfectly, and even gave me tips on how to properly do my brows. The second experience I had was at the salon. My hair was way past due for a cut, and Erica literally solved all my hair problems. She is talented and knows hair! I HIGHLY recommend her. I will be back for a color in a few weeks! Thank you, Ulta!

All employees were helpful and smiling even though I went shopping Black Friday weekend. Emily at the register was a sweetheart. Very clean and tidy store on Sat morning after Black Friday.

I made a visit to Ulta 9/27/2019, Chattanooga, Tn, Hamilton place location...looking around for a pretty nude lip color, however upon looking around I was looked over... I am a woman of color, and was never asked “can I help you with something”. A tall Caucasian lady looked at me out of the corner of her eye several times, but never approached me with customer service! I then went to another young lady who worked in another department, and she pointed me to a color she experienced and liked in the area of the young lady Deparment who still just LOOKED! I felt discriminated against! All black people are not the same... I Do NOT STEAL! Look into training your workers to approach everyone the same! I did end up making a purchase but honestly I think it will be my last time.

I have had nothing but amazing experiences here. Recently, I accidently purchased a tester, and the employees were so nice about it. Unfortunately they were out of my shade so I couldn’t exchange, however they refunded my careless mistake. If your looking for a great Ulta, this one is it!

Walking into this store was like going to a special part of heaven for us foo foo girls!Ive never been, and thats because if my living situation but, I could have easily moved in with a sleeping bag! LOL.We had a blast. We lost all track of time and spent WAY to much money...but...the products were much less expensive, so there wasnt much guilt.I lost all track of time.We were looking into facial brushes, cream blushes, primers, and eye pallettes. I introduced my sister to Morphe products. I would work there for free. Clean, friendly...stuff We all Love!

Im not into makeup or cosmetics myself, but anything that can make my wife as happy as ULTA does deserves a passing grade in my books. I have used some creams from them to control face breakouts with varying success. It is a nice and clean establishment that doesnt just smell like all the perfumes have been spayed too many times.

My wife tells me every time I wait in the parking lot that store has good makeup. It must be good she never comes back empty handed.

I called Ulta on 11-13-13, asking if there was someone who could help me find a new make-up. I was told Emily would have time to assist me, so I immediately went to the store and sure enough Emily had time to help me find a new make-up that would suit my needs. I had nothing in particular I was looking for, and was very open to different options, so Emily was absolutely wonderful! She helped me figure out pros and cons of different make-ups (since I am not very knowledgable in this area) and helped me choose the shade that would be correct for my skin. She was very honest with me about what she thought would look good on me and what wouldnt, which I REALLY appreciated - it was like going to the store with your sister or best friend to pick out a new outfit when it came to the casual approach, honesty and sweetness Emily demonstrated. It was a wonderful experience and I left feeling totally confident that she had helped me select the exact products I was seeking!

My first trip to Ulta was very unpleasant due to an older gentleman who accused my 7 year old of stealing. I am a Younique presenter and have never been to Ulta but had a gift card so I figured I would look around. In the perfume isle, I had an older man come up to me and say I needed to watch my son because he just stuck something in his jacket pocket. I looked at my son and he pulled out his toboggan from his jacket pocket. It was extremely embarrassing to both myself and my son. We had just come from the Chattanooga Boat Parade and were not in our Sundays finest. Needless to say we felt very profiled and I dont want to go back. Great selection of products but I will stick to online shopping in the future.

Slipped in 15 minutes before closing time and I rushed so as not to hold the employees over. I couldnt find one particular item and was going to skip it but the friendly manager insisted on walking me to find what I needed. Friendly, helpful service!

Made a hair appointment as soon as they opened then a lady stole my appointment they didn’t check her name or anything then asked if i could come back at 12 which i didn’t then for her to tell me to come back next week. never going back again

Whatever you do, do not let an employee of this place match you for foundation. I bought and returned foundation four times before finally giving up and throwing away the $40. If I could give zero stars I would but I guess the one star counts for their decent return policy.

Erica is great at her job. My hair was dry & dead. It is now repaired to how it us supposed to be if not better. Ask for Erica, you wont regret it.

Went to check out and said hi to the cashier and she rolled her eyes at me. Went to show her a coupon on my phone and told me it was too late to add a coupon. Tried to pay and the chip reader wasn’t working so I wiped off the chip on my card and inserted it again. Then she yelled at me to wipe it off after I said I just did and she sighed. Couldn’t find out what her name was since she had her hair all in her face but she was working around 3:00pm on 10/6/19 and had a grey long sleeve sweater on with blonde hair. She was rude and had a bad attitude.

I stopped in while traveling through Chattanooga and asked an employee where I could find Tarte’s Lights Camera Lashes mascara and she looked at me like I had three heads. She did not even understand that I was looking for mascara, nor did she even bother to act like she cared enough to help me find what I was looking for. Another CUSTOMER walked over and told me exactly where to find it. The shelf was empty and no one could tell me if there was anymore in stock or any somewhere else in the store. Very disappointed in my visit as Ulta is one of the few places I can acquire vegan makeup. Two thumbs down for the staff and selection at this location.

This Ulta location is exceptional. I especially love the brow bar - they do a great job. You should definitely come here rather than the Hixson location, the Hamilton Place customer service is miles ahead.

Helpful staff, clean store, but they dont carry enough stock in things known to be in high demand. I know this is not this individual stores problem,but when I go there is at least a 50% chance that they will not have what Im looking for.

I have been going to Ulta for over 5 years for a cut and style and highlights. All the stylist a very friendly and very professional. I have recommended Family and Friends.
